Author's Note: There were a few ideas I had when it comes to the prompt for day 2: Once in a Blue Moon, but ultimately I decided to choose this one and its certainly something that I really wanted to tell.

Once Upon a Dawn

A time of peace was bestowed upon the 5 nations after The Fourth Great Ninja War, and 2 Years have passed since then. However, only a tiny fraction of the time passed since Naruto and Hinata became Konoha's newly wedded couple. It was the talk of the town going around for months as it led up to that fateful moment. A myriad of things have occurred for the both of them in their beautiful life together. There was an old estate that once belonged to Naruto's Father, Minato Namikaze - The Fourth Hokage, and his mother Kushina Uzumaki for some time prior the months that led up to Naruto's birth. It was something that had been on his mind for the longest time after Kakashi Sensei talked and revealed it to him. To live and breathe in the household that his parents spent their years together. It was surrounded by a lot of dust and the structure was surrounded by roots. At first, it came as a big surprise for Naruto, but with how much time had passed since then. He couldn't have exactly pinned the blame on anyone since only a small number of people knew that he was the son of Yellow Flash.

The only obstacle that came in the way for The Hero of The Great War was the financials. Even through the matter of family lineage, Naruto would've needed a massive fortune for him to have gotten the house on his own. Except, the truth was that wasn't the case anymore for a simple reason. Naruto Uzumaki was gonna spend the rest of his life with his wife Hinata Hyuga before she adopted his surname. He knew that the apartment wasn't gonna be enough if a future was gonna be built for the two of them. A place where one day they could eventually start a family. For the future generation. They wanted that more than anything in the world. When that time finally came, Naruto had ben able to accomplish the goal that ran throughout his mind. It was now under his property. No... their property together. The Property of Naruto and Hinata Uzumaki.

"... Sometimes I still can't believe it, ya know Hinata?" The blonde haired man said as he zipped up his black uniform jacket.

Hinata tossed her hair back in the mirror just after she buckled the dark purple ori around the waist area of the light lavender kimono blouse she wore, "A little over a few months and we've managed to get our own house.. That is hard to imagine especially it was Mother and Father's"

Without a thought Naruto wrapped his hands around her waist tightly with a bright grin, "Well it's our house now, ya know"! He murmured and kissed the side of her cheek.

Hinata giggled, "You're absolutely right.." a single hand rested against her cheek as she hopped her head to the side and met her lips with his for a moment.

Their eyes closed with no one else, but the two of them.

That savoring sensation they felt towards another acted as if time was frozen. Naruto and Hinata couldn't have asked for anything more.

Until the door knocked.

Hinata's focus went to the door, "I wonder who that could be... huh?" when she spun the other direction to her beloved husband, "Naruto, what are you..."

"Just ignore it for a bit.." His arms tightened around her waist when his gaze directed at her.

They closed eyes once more and locked lips passionately as Hinata quickly swung her arms around his neck.

It was all they wanted during a moment of privacy. Even for an instance.

The feeling of being loved. That longing for one another.

Once more, Their front door knocked again. Louder this time.

"Who could it be? I mean we've still got a few hours left before we have to meet up with Sakura at The Village Gates." Naruto complained with his fist in the air.

Hinata giggled, "It's okay dear, let's just go check real quick!" and pecked his lips without a thought before she walked over and unlocked the door.

One click at the doorknob was all it took before Hinata slid the door to the side. Out of all the people she knew throughout her life, this was amongst the one she had never expected. It was a young woman in a tan long sleeved kimono embedded with red orange sleeves that matched her knee-length skirt. Aside from her long hair styled in a ponytail, she adjusted the ribbons from her hair strands. What was most recognizable to Hinata were the lavender eyes that resembled hers. Her younger sister, Hanabi.

"H-Hanabi!" Hinata politely answered, "What brings you all the way here?"

Hanabi waved cheerfully, "Just checking in on my favorite lovely couple in town..." then placed her hand on her hip, "Cause... ya know it's been a few months since I got to a chance to spend some time with you, and the village hero, Naruto!"

Naruto quickly scratched the back of his head, "Oh come now Hanabi, we're family, you could simply just call me big brother!"

"Isn't that more of Konohamaru's thing?" She stated with her head down, "People will just think I'm mimicking them."

"I mean you always call me big sis, it probably wouldn't be that weird now." Hinata answered with sincerity, "Plus it's as Naruto said, you just call him big brother since we are family now!"

"Or simply, Naruto's fine if you don't feel comfortable about it!" He continued.

Hanabi nodded with a smile, "In that case, I'll just call you Naruto until the day you become our next Hokage."

"Sounds good to me!" Naruto answered with his signature thumbs up pose before a loud growl emerged from his stomach.

His wife gave him the glistened look, "I'll go ahead and..." before her stomach echoed a similar sound, "Oh my..." as she flustered.

"Getting hungry at the same time, that's adorable!" A light roar bursted from the young kunoichi's stomach. Her cheeks instantly dimmed pink when Naruto and Hinata caught her expression, "That was nothing..."

Hinata sighed in disbelief, "You came here without eating from home, huh?"

Hanabi raised an eyebrow and pointed to herself, "Could you honestly blame a girl for being happy to see her big sister & brother in law early in the morning?"

"Well no of course not, I think anyone would be in any given situation." Hinata said happily towards her little sister, "Which.. I'm happy to see you just as much!" and embraced her in a tight hug.

"I appreciate that..." She echoed the same sentiments to Hinata when another set of arms wrapped around both of them.

"I may not have a strong deep bond with you like the one you two have always shared, but just know that no matter what you are a part of my family now." Naruto answered with a bright smile.

A shed of tears fell from the young Hyuga's eye, "You two are the best!"

This time, all three of their stomachs roared simultaneously.

"We should grab something to eat if our stomachs are gonna keep growling like this." Naruto answered with an agitated look.

Hanabi showed the same look, "You can say that again."

"Anything you two have in mind that I should make for breakfast?" Hinata asked

Naruto and Hanabi glanced at one another before they looked towards the curiosity on Hinata's face, "We'll just leave that up to you!"

"Up to me, there's so many options I could choose from.." Hinata tapped against the side of her cheek briefly until, "Ooh... I've got just the idea!" and walked towards the kitchen, "Maybe I could use a pair of hands to help me out too."

The younger sister stood there for a moment, "I'll be right there!" and followed along into the kitchen.

Naruto closed the door after Hanabi walked in, and just the sight of seeing The two Hyuga sisters kept him in awe. At that point, this whole village used to hate him immensely and he was always alone.

Now that wasn't the case because he has a beautiful wife and an amazing sister in law who are always gonna be a part of his life.

"Dear, I could use your help with something here!" Hinata said.

Naruto smiled and made his way into the kitchen, "Be right there!"

"By the way, why didn't you tell Father to accompany you, Hanabi?"

Hanabi answered, "He went to spend some time with his sibling before I left the house."

"A moment with Family!" Naruto said kindly.

Hinata cheerfully answered, "What about... Family Day?"

"Yeah... I like that one!" Naruto continued, "That one has a nice ring to it!"

This is only the second day of NaruHina Month, and I have to say writing each chapter day by day has been a lot of fun albeit a bit of a challenge since my usual routine usually consists of me working out a moment for any story with a bit of a break. When it came to this entire story I kept thinking like what would be a Once in a Blue Moon scenario that was likely to have happened in the Naruto universe. We know there was a time span between The Last: Naruto The Movie and Boruto: Naruto Next Generations. So I always played around with the idea of what a moment between Naruto, Hinata, and Hanabi would've been like together. That's how I crafted this story that was centered around the 3 of them and truth be told I did wanna expand on more of this story, but I wanted to keep it simple enough. Who knows maybe in the future I will write a story that's centered Naruto, Hinata, and Hanabi partaking in a mission. For the time being, that is pretty much all I've gotta say about this particular story and I will see you guys really soon. Until then everyone, I hope everyone has a great day, or night, and as always thank you all so much for reading everyone!
