Author's Note: Originally I was gonna write a short day like I've done so far for NH Month, but one of the two prompt stuck in the back of my mind for twenty minutes. That's when the gears started to shift through my mind on the approach for this brought, and ultimately I settled on creating a poem based on the prompt that resonated with me.
Precious Sunshine Family
Fear was inescapable.
Fear was why I never slept.
Fear was why I was a tool.
Yet, I asked myself why?
Why did I fear so much?
Was there ever a way out?
Or was my heart eclipsed by the dark?
But then, I saw a ray of light
Your smiling face saved me.
That's why I fell in love with you.
Why I never went back on my word.
Why it became my ninja way.
No, Our ninja way
It's what made us truly inseparable
The love we shared together
The love that forged children.
A energetic-stubborn son.
A sweetheart daughter.
We will always love
Forever and ever

Something that always came to me with Hinata's character was what her favorite subjects might've been during her Academy days, and I believe she was probably a smart student academically. Given how her character is centered around compassion, love, and being polite got me thinking that Hinata was probably a fan of poetry and writing. I don't think any of the databooks have listed her favorite subjects, but it's just my little headcanon. Also, what better then allowing Hinata to speak through her feelings in a poem related to her everlasting love and compassion for Naruto, but also tie it back into the family they created together through Boruto and Himawari. For the time being, that is pretty much all I've gotta say about this particular story and I will see you guys really soon.
