GDSS Philadelphia II Space Station

May, 2061

The General Secretary of the Global Defence Initiative simply sipped a cup of coffee, produced from Philadelphia's onboard hydroponics farms.

14 years since the end of the Third Tiberium war. Since the victors of the conflict looked at the world that had been shattered by war. Tiberium threatened to spread and claim entire blue zones and the extinction of Humanity looked imminent.

But 14 years of hard progress, technological breakthroughs in Tiberium mitigation and reclamation, the construction of dozens of archeologies, and an alliance with the forgotten save Humanity, and allowed it to reclaim a quarter of the Earth.

The Global Defence Initiative had a long way to go to reclaiming Earth, but now the path was light bright.

"Director." The director of GDI turned to see the Director of GDI's intel force walk in. "The personnel files you wanted."

"Thank you Captain." The General Secretary was handed a datapad and looked it over. "These are the men you wanted to form a new task force in the new reclamation of Central America?" He asked.

"They're all good people sir. But with Central America the shit show it is, there's only two I believe can handle the stress of an op this serious." the Director replied, sitting down in a chair in front of the G.S's desk.

"Hmmmmm." the G.S looked at the two candidates for the job. "Commander Jaune Havoc Arc? Most of his records are classified as the Tacitus. Mind giving me a rundown?"

"Jaune Arc, age 31. No known parents, nation of birth, childhood history, or anything. Officially he's a Yellow Zone Rat with his family being killed and later being adopted by Havoc." The Director leaned back.

"Unofficially?"

"My people believe he's from another world he calls Remnant. According to him, it might as well be paradise compared to Earth 14 years ago." The Director pulled out another file. "We thought the kid might be lying or exaggerating but his actions during Tib War 3 proved otherwise."

"I heard. Helped old Nick Havoc Parker take back D.C, then got dragged along by Commander Sheppard during his escapades in Africa and Europe. Was present during the Scrin attack in Germany, locals credited him with saving hundreds of lives thanks to this….aura?"

"Yes sir. Some eggheads wanted to examine him further but Granger wasn't having it. After the war, he joined GDI proper and was transferred to the Steel Talons after Commando training in 2052, one of the best in the whole Initiative. Having this aura helped." The Director continued.

"But some still wanted to examine aura and his apparent arrival from another planet." The G.S pressed on.

"Yes sir. Steel Talons wanted to form a new battlegroup around him as another experimental force. ZOCOM and other SOCOM elements were against it but the Talons and Arc managed to find a friend in the Ground Forces, namely our next candidate." The Director of Intel continued.

"Ah the other candidate, Commander Sydney Ross." The G.S swiped up the holopad. "General and Admiral Ross's brat. Son of two supersoldiers that defected from NOD. They're reason is that Japan, Taiwan, and the North American West Coast are still standing. Ross Junior was a pencil pusher until he transferred to armour ops the same Arc went into Commando training. Both kids were smart."

"Both Commanders commanded separate battlegroups. Currently Arc commands a battlegroup made up of light infantry and vehicles imbued with Aura. Zone Raiders, Zone troopers, even his own Zone Jaguars. Support by light air and ground vehicles. Arc's Archangels the rest of the force calls them. Ross Junior on the other hand commands a heavy battlegroup. Heavy armour including Mammoths, the new Paladin MBTs, and even the new Kodiak 3 airborne assault carriers. His battlegroup is known as the Rollers." The G.S summarized. "According to these files, Arc is a more improvise on foot while Ross is a by the books man. Opposites attract?"

"You think the two would hate each other but their friends. Both love video games, both have a willingness to experiment with new tech, caring for those below them, they make a good team. Reclamation of New Orleans showed that." the Director stated.

"Commander Arc assaulted a force of NOD Warlords that outnumbered his force 3 to 1 yet managed to stalemate them while using their own tactics of hit and run against them to shred supply lines. Once that was done, Commander Ross came in with a wave of Mammoth tanks and Paladins to mop up the rest. The Americans are happy they got some more territory back." the Director of intelligence went on.

"Hmm." The General Secretary nodded. "What's this about NOD and Forgotten in their ranks?"

"Surprised you didn't notice that earlier. When we began reclaiming Earth, a bunch of NOD cells got sick of how the warlords ran the yellow zones and joined up. And there's the alliance with most of the Forgotten clans. Most units had difficulty working with them for a while but Arc and Ross took many in without hesitancy. Boost both their combat effectiveness."

"These are the commanders you want to reclaim Central America?" the G.S asked.

"They're the only ones who could do it without us needing to dedicate an entire army group. They've faced the worst tasks before." the Director of INops responded.

The G.S simply looked out the window looking at the blue, green, and brown planet of Earth.

"I'll make the call. Give the Commanders a heads up that their shipping is out." the G.S replied.

Explanation

I was reading a few other C&C fanfictions and I thought how would the world of Remnant react to Earth of the Tiberium Universe.

Ok so quick rundown. Post Tiberium War 3, GDI is battered and bruised but not broken. It was able to rebuild its strength and began a major reconstruction operation. However it diverges from C&C Tiberium Twilight as GDI is able to slow down the evolution of Tiberium.

(I based the post TW-III on Attempting to Fulfill the Plan: GDI Edition where a bunch of people roleplayed a post TW-III GDI. The situation there is much more stable compared to Twilight. Check it out on Sufficient Velocity).

The world of Remnant diverges after the Breach / Season 2. Adam or the White Fang in general, enraged at their failure, strikes against the Hunters in training who stopped the Breach. My idea was that multiple teams of Hunters in training were resting or partying at a bar in Vale when the White Fang tried to assassinate the students, among them includes Team RWBY, JNPR, SSSN, CFVY, and others. No one 'dies' but several students are wounded and Jaune is hit by an experimental rocket using a new form of dust that transports him to Earth during TW-III. Remnant presumes Jaune is dead.

Now Jaune gets thrown into the NOD attack on Washington D.C where he ends up teaming up with formerly retired GDI commander Nick Havoc Parker to fight NOD. Thus beginning Jaune's transformation from Hunter in training swordmaster to something more akin to a GDI commando and adopting Havoc's love for blowing stuff up.

Post GDI reclamation of the White House has Jaune and Havoc being dragged to Europe to help fight NOD. Here, Jaune ends up being de-facto adopted by Havoc and the two have a uncle-nephew relationship as they fight both NOD and later the Scrin. Eventually Jaune unlock's Havoc's aura and the two become a near unstoppable duo.

Post TW-III. Now that they don't have to deal with a NOD or Scrin threat, INops confronts Jaune over the whole being from another world thing and aura. Nick Havoc, General Granger, and Commander Sheppard (OC as a fill-in for the GDI commander of TW-III) defend him and offer Jaune the chance to join GDI. Jaune accepts since he has nowhere else to go and trains to become a commando.

During his time as a Commando, Jaune demonstrates the ability and advantages of aura and semblances while being routinely being sent on missions

I should also mention my OC Sydney Ross, the adaptable character from my fics (He's not my avatar character no, it's Victor) as he's a reflection of GDI's actual combat doctrine of drown the enemy slowly in Mammoth tanks, artillery, and air support while Jaune's a more hit and run style. Like I mention, Jaune's a more improvise and rapid adaptability while Sydney's a more by the books guy.

Despite this, they get along well due to both their special uniqueness (Sydney's the son of two former NOD supersoldiers while Jaune's an alien), both have similar hobbies, and both have developed strategies around each other's battle doctrine. They have a friendly rivalry, with Sydney helping Jaune set up his aura imbued battlegroup and Jaune giving a lot of combat support.

However during Jaune's commander years, he attracts a lot of attention thanks to his aura-imbued battlegroup. Namely from a NOD commander who they consider Jaune and Sydney Rivals, and Kane himself.

Fast forward to 2061 (14 years on Earth for Jaune) and GDI is just chilling when something radical happens!

An event merges Earth and Remnant into a single world.

And the thing is that while it's been 14 years for Jaune, only a few months have past for Remnant (similar to Remnant: To Command and Conquer).

Step back to Remnant. Cinder's pissed the White Fang launched another attack too early but then figures he could exploit this attack to stir up some more negative emotions. How one can go about can vary. Maybe Cinder frames Jaune as a racist and tries to rally the Faunus of Remnant against the Arc family and the Hunters in training protect his image. Maybe they try to exploit the whole Atlas and its military failed to stop the murder of the son of a prominent hunter family. Again, choice is yours if you want to play with it.

But her and Remnant's plans get shafted when for unknown reasons (maybe the brother gods were drunk or something) their world and Earth gets merged into one.

Now since the Post TW-III era is based of Attempting the Plan, GDI edition, the oceans have been heavily cleansed of Tiberium and the continents of Remnant get teleported to various locations across Earth.

Sanus of the North American West Coast.

Menagerie off the Coast of Australia.

Anima in the southern Atlantic.

Solitas off the GIUK gap or Northern Atlantic.

And the Dragon Continent between Siberia and Alaska.

Cue mass panic across the now merge panic though for the Terrans, it's more of an exasperated sigh.

Due to mass panic, the Kingdoms attract a lot of Grimm and to make it worse, Tiberium has infected small portions of their continents.

GDI, unaware of the kingdoms' plight, deploys battlegroups to make sure the continents aren't invested with Tiberium, with Sydney and Jaune's battlegroup deployed south of the Vytal Islands on Sanus.

Here, they fight off major Grimm swarms with ease due a combination of Arc's elite Zone troopers and mechs along with Sydney's heavy armour and fire support assets. Also while they contain the majority of the spread of Tiberium in a matter of days.

However, as they depart to contain one last small Tiberium infestation, they get a call from a Hunter in training team that's encountered Tiberium and is slowly being affected. Jaune and Sydney rush to Northeast of Vale to find Team CFVY (though you can change to other teams like ABRN or FNKI).

In desperation and due to all the professional huntsmen and huntresses being tied down to fight the Grimm, Ozpin could only send students to investigate the strange new crystals appearing. That ends poorly as expected (sending kids without Tib protection is bound to go terribly).

Oh yeah, and the Grimm are scared of Tiberium as well. Anyways, the commander duo rescues Team CFVY and heals them with the power of science, who is shocked when they find Jaune's alive but also informs GDI of the Grimm attacking Vale.

Jaune and his battlegroup stays to monitor Tiberium while Sydney's battlegroup, along with a 450-meter-long Kodiak III battlecarrier, the GDAS Protector, rushes to Vale from an onslaught of Grimm. Cue big hero moment as GDI curbstomps the Grimm horde attacking Vale, much to the surprise of its defenders.

However while GDI's efforts in Menagerie and Sanus go smoothly, NOD beats GDI to Anima and the two military powers are contested in Solitas.

Now after the dust settles and GDI ensures Tiberium is not going to infect the new continents, Ozpin invites Sydney and Jaune to Beacon along with their forces for a meeting. And a happy reunion between Jaune and his friends occurs.

But uh oh, what's this? The Council also invited a NOD commander and their force, who saved Anima, to the meeting as well. And Kane's there as well!

Long live Kane!

Anyways the two powers have a sort of standoff at Beacon, ready to kick off the next Tib War which is only averted due to Velvet and Ruby puppy eying both forces and the Atlas military trying intervene only to find thousands of guns abruptly pointed in their direction.

Imagine a scene, GDI and NOD in a yard in Beacon staring off at each other. Sydney and Jaune with their Mammoths, Zone troopers, and Orcas on one side while NOD Scorpion, Avatars, and Venoms at the other. The GDAS Protector and a few NOD maritime battleships that snuck into Vale harbor have a face-off. And then General Ironwood busts in with a tiny force of Paladins and robots to break up the fight only to find both GDI and NOD pointing all their weapons at him, irritated that their scuffle got interrupted.

Afterwards, the leaders of GDI and NOD sort of have this awkward conference in Beacon with the Remnant natives terrified of the people who started 5 Great Wars in less than 150 years.

Yeah, where it goes from here is up to you if you wish to adopt this.

Also, a funny scene where Kane has fun trolling Salem. Salem may have magic, but at least Kane's able to salvage the ruins of his great plans into GREATER PLANS!

Anyways, it looks like this world needs someone with the well To Command and Conquer. The path, is up to you writers.

Farewell!
