Author's Note: Another day of celebrating NH month, and another time for me to have share some more goodies. There was a storyline I wrote into bullet points, but I remember really the poetry aspect i spent on day 5's. So I decided to tackle it once more.
Family Anew
Since the day we met dear,
You've been the one
Who watched over me
The one who inspired you
To have never ever
Gone back on my word
It was my ninja way
And only mine for while
Until it became ours
That path fixed something
The foundation with Neji
The foundation with Hanabi
And most importantly
The foundation with your father
Something that took a lot of time
Which left me in a realization
Since birth I never had a family
My parents died on my birth
And became legendary heroes
I was left alone in the world
For the longest time ever
Now that wasn't the case
It's because of you only
That I gained something
One younger sister
And one father
They're apart of me
My father & sister in law
Just like you've cherished them
I will forever cherish them too
Because they're my family anew
This particular prompt was one that not many would've taken, but its elements like this that really get me excited in a way a long with a fact that one doesn't experience a huge burnout writing a story each day. Some could say it's a bit lazy, but I think helps immensely in getting your creative juices flowing. I mentioned the prompt for day 5's prompt and something that immediately came to my attention was how that entire poem was written from Hinata's side. That's what also gave me the idea in tackling this prompt in the form of a poem, but to where Naruto expressed how he felt about it. Last thing to address is that I do have a story in place for Day 9 and it's one I definitely can't wait to share with you all. For the time being, that is pretty much all I've gotta say about this particular story and I will see you guys really soon.
