Hello all! If you're not new around here then you already know the deal, and if you're not, I welcome you. This time I present you with Vert and Blanc, in honesty I never really was a fan of them as a pair at first, at first! But, that scene in cyber dimension (you know the one) really made me rethink it. And now, here I am! Nevertheless, I hope you all enjoy, and if you have something you want to add feel free!

In the skies high, high above the meager populace, who could only ever watch the mighty goddesses with star crossed eyes, envying their divine powers and strength. Perhaps hoping that one day they would be reincarnated as a being that rivaled them, although little did they know they were faceless NPCs, whose very existence was pointless. Still, at this moment, they could only see streaking across the skies; a pink and blue streak. And if one were to pay enough attention, they would see the forms of Lowee's unmistakable twin CPU candidates.

As they flew, there was almost an eerie silence among the usually rambunctious balls of energy. While they would usually chat the whole way as they flew, now they flew with a reflective silence. This was their last ditch effort, this was the last thing they ever thought they'd try. But, they just had no choice. No one else had any clue what to do, or what was even wrong for that matter. For about the last two weeks, their precious older sister was not acting like herself. She was acting distant, cold, and rarely excited her room. She just was… off.

Rom and Ram had quickly picked up that something had to be wrong. But, no matter what they tried, nothing seemed to raise the spirits of their dear older sister. They tried bugging her, and making her play a game with them, but Blanc just kept insisting she wasn't in the mood. They tried giving her a giant bear hug, but that didn't really seem to work that well. They asked her to read them a book, but Blanc's narration seemed to lack its usual enthusiasm. They even tried riling her up, by drawing in one of her manuscripts, and they even had C-sha help them break them out of the safe that Blanc kept them in! But- even that couldn't spring Blanc back to life. In fact, it only seemed to make her feel worse.

The worst thing was, they didn't even know what was wrong. The day that seemed to be the first in this change in Lowee's CPU was the day of Blanc's amateur writing competition, and while, expectedly, Blanc did not get the placement she had hoped for, it didn't seem to be something that would leave her feeling like this. Blanc had entered a lot of those over the years, and never really did that well, but usually, she got over it awfully quickly, this had been going on for weeks now.

The twins were at their wit's end. They tried asking their best friends about it, but the two other candidates seemed to be just as baffled as they were, and the only things they could suggest were things that A. would only work on their sisters, like buying pudding or a wardrobe piece, or B. something they had already tried. So, it would appear as though, as much as the twins loved their friends, they were useless in this endeavor. It was times like these where they missed Mina, and her guidance the most. Mina would know what to do, she knew Blanc the best, and surely, she could think of something! But alas, she was not around. So, the twins were left to think of other means.

The twins had even tried branching out, and although the two youngsters had rarely, if ever, tried interacting with the other CPUs one on one over the years, they figured they had no choice. They were the ones that knew their sister the best after all. Well, apart from Mina. The other CPUs had known Blanc for decades at this point, and even if they had their spats, they still respected and valued her.

But… unfortunately for the young adolescents, the first two had provided no assistance. Noire didn't seem to have any clue as to what to do, and her ideas were not something the twins' thought were very helpful. And, while Neptune at least seemed to be more approachable and took the issue way more seriously (surprisingly) she too seemed to be stumped. She could not think of a reason why, as she put it, Blanc was acting "like a pouty high schooler that got dumped". And, while the twins did not appreciate her phrasing, they had to admit, it did seem descriptive of the situation. Perhaps the twins could just tell Blanc what her fellow goddess had said about her? That might rile her up… But the twins soon discarded that as an idea, deciding to move on.

As the CPU of purple bid the twins luck in their quest, the girls felt their hearts in their stomachs. There was just one person left to try… and they didn't have particularly high hopes about the busty blonde from the island nation of Leanbox. They knew how rough their sister's relationship with Vert could get at some points, and they considered that perhaps the CPU of green would see it as an opportunity to pile onto the petite goddess… but they didn't have any other choice. That's how desperate they were.

And so… that's where they found themselves, silently, they continued their trek toward Leanbox, silently praying to whatever deity they felt fit that this woman would have something, anything to help their sister feel better. To look like herself again. To read to them again. To give them hugs again. To get mad at them again. They needed their sister back.

Wordlessly, the pint sized duo touched down in front of the magnificent manor that served as the basilicom of the nation. Nodding to each other, the brunettes made their way inside, quickly detouring to the room they knew housed the woman they were after. They had been in the room a few times over the years, and while Vert had tried to showcase some of her ahem collection off to the youngsters, it simply went over their heads.

At some point, Blanc had banned them from going over here without her supervision, but they figured, drastic times called for drastic measures. And they considered, if this were sufficient enough to make Blanc angry enough to snap her out of whatever it was she was in, then mission accomplished anyway.

Eventually the two found themselves in front of the door, taking a deep breath, they knocked on the sturdy door that led to the CPU's quarters. Shockingly, there was no immediate response, looking at each other, before knocking again, they, again found that there was no response. Pouting, Ram prepared to simply force her way inside…

"My what are you two doing here?" Before jumping nearly ten feet in the air as the voice of the very CPU they were there to see at the moment sounded out from behind them,

"Eeep!" They both yelled in sync before turning around to see the amused face of Vert, holding a cup of tea. Nodding her head as if to signify the success of her stealth mission, she soon took a sip as she asked again,

"I see I have properly scared you, but I do wonder, why are you two here? Hadn't your sister prohibited you two from coming here without her? Or is she accompanying you?" Vert asked, and her voice seemed to almost want to hide the fact that she seemed to want the answer to that question to be 'yes'. But, perhaps unfortunately for our busty CPU, both candidates simply looked to the floor as they struggled to answer the question,

"N-no… she's not… that's actually what we wanted to ask about… Can you help us, please Miss Vert?" It was Ram who spoke, and Vert had to say. She had never heard Ram speak like that, the softness in her voice, and she couldn't remember if there ever was a time she called her 'Miss Vert'. Scrunching her face for a moment, she took another sip of her tea, before speaking,

"Oh my, this does seem to be a serious issue, we can discuss it inside my room, would you two like me to make you a glass of tea?" She amicably offered, opening the door, and both twins seemed to have a least a little spark go off in their eyes, a sort of desperate hope that this woman would hold all the answers they needed to hear.

"No, I don't think we need any" Rom politely declined for the two of them, as they made their way into the room, all three taking their seats around a small table. Immediately, the twins trained their eyes on Vert, who chuckled slightly, before beginning,

"So, what seems to be the matter? It must be something quite serious if you're willing to disobey Blanc's orders" Vert started, and the twins shared a look, almost trying to figure out which of them should be the one to explain it, after a moment it was Ram who began,

"Well… Blanc's… she's been acting like a big dummy!" She simply exclaimed, and Vert tilted her head at the less than concise way the young girl explained things,

"Could you clarify what that means? How exactly is she acting like a 'dummy'? Is she mad at you?" A shake from the young goddesses, "Is she not buying you a toy you want?" Another shake. "Well then, what is she doing?" Vert finally asked, seemingly confused by what was intended by this visit.

"She's not doing anything! Like at all! She… she won't even get mad at us anymore… Do… do you think she doesn't love us anymore" Ram's voice started out loud, but quickly faded as tears seemed to well up in her eyes, and by the looks of it, Rom wasn't holding out much better. With a smile on her face, Vert soon tried her best to amend the situation,

"Girls, I'm sure Blanc hasn't stopped loving you. I know she isn't the best at conveying her emotions, but I know, there aren't people more important to her than you two. There isn't something that could occur that would ever make her stop loving you two. Ok?" She calmly explained, and the two seemed to dry the tears before they started to fall, "Good, now can you explain to me what exactly has led to you two coming to that conclusion? What is Blanc doing?" She asked, and this time, after more telepathic communication, it was Rom who spoke,

"Well… she really isn't leaving her room… and when she does, she isn't acting like herself. Like… Like… when she reads to us, she doesn't have the same… I don't know… she just isn't acting like herself…" Rom quietly explained, despite not really knowing how to do so fully. And, for the first time, the twins noticed a shift in Vert's gaze. For the first time, she looked hesitant, like she herself didn't know what to do like she had something eating at her. But as quickly as it happened, it passed.

"Say, how long has this been going on for, would you say?" Vert asked, and quickly Ram was the one to respond,

"About 2 weeks, why?" Ram asked, confused at the line of questioning. Who cared how long it was going on for, they just needed Blanc fixed, now. Additionally, Ram was beginning to become slightly suspicious of Vert, she seemed to know more than she was letting on.

"..." And for the first time, Vert was silent. She was speechless, and this only intensified the look on Ram's face. Sitting next to her, Rom could see the gears starting to turn in her twin's mind. Yet, she couldn't see what it was she was seemingly starting to see.

"H-hey… Vert? You don't happen to know what happened to sis, do you?" Ram asked, her eyes conveying a cruel indifference towards the goddess in green. Vert, who seemed caught back by the line of questioning.

"W-why. I- I-..." She couldn't seem to formulate a response, and immediately Ram shot up from her sitting position, pointing an accusatory finger towards the CPU, causing Rom to panic, trying to get her sister to calm down, to no avail,

"You do! Don't you! I- I bet you did it yourself! Huh? HUH!?" Ram seemed to be losing it as she tried to force her way out of Rom's grasp, eventually able to overpower the blue adorned goddess, summoning her staff as tears flew down her face, Ram faced her advisory, "GIVE US BACK OUR SISTER!" She cried desperately, her eyes flooded with tears, as Rom desperately tried to calm her down. The CPU the staff was pointed at could only slowly rise, her eyes covered in a shadow, wordlessly, she waltzed over to the small child. Standing directly in the path of the magic aid. Looking the adolescent dead in the eyes,

"If you're going to freeze me. Do it. I probably deserve it." Was all she said, taking a long sigh, "You're right… I do know what happened…" She let it hang in the air before she began again, "Well?" She asked, and as she looked at the long haired brunette, she could see the torn expression her face bore, and with it Vert felt even more disgust flush her system. She didn't deserve any sort of forgiveness for this.

"I- I just want Blanc back…" Was all she said as she slowly felt her knees give out, but as she fell, before she expected the contact with the hard, unforgiving, floor, she felt her momentum halted, as Vert had quickly reached out to slow her fall.

"I know…" She said, as she gently set Ram back in her seat. "Well… I suppose you girls deserve to know the truth…" She gravely said as she recalled what had transpired on that fateful day, 2 weeks ago…

2 weeks ago;

Lowee-

As Blanc paced the long and spacious area of her bedroom, she could feel it offering her no relief. She hadn't felt like this possibly ever in her whole life, not only did her masterpiece not win the competition she had entered but… it didn't even receive an honorable mention. The reviews… well they were not that pleasant.

"Bland."

"Beyond cliche, and some parts barely connected at all"

"Clearly written by a hopeless romantic high school girl"

"Soulless"

How dare they! Didn't… didn't they know how much effort Blanc put into that? Didn't they know how many nights she stayed up to finish that!? And yet… and yet… it was really par for the course as far as Blanc was concerned. Was she really just not any good at it? What was she missing? She had read more books than probably anyone, and yet? Why was her writing still so soulless?

It was like a rock in the pit of Blanc's stomach. The cruel acceptance. The embarrassment. The disappointment. It was an odd mix of emotions; she didn't quite know what to do. Should she just give up? Was there a point in doing something you just simply aren't any good at?

As the thoughts ran through Blanc's mind, she could feel a shadow cover her eye, as she felt her slow pacing slow to a halt. Never, not ever in her whole life had she even paid the idea any mind… yet could she refuse it anymore? Letting out a sigh, Blanc soon turned on her heel, making her way out of her room, perhaps she just needed fresh air…

Although, right as she made her way out of the grand door that separated her room from the rest of the castle, she could only feel her face scrunch even more,

"What the hell are you doing here? I thought I told the guards to never let you in again" Blanc spat out, her words laced with venom, as she looked at the blonde standing in her hallway, who could only tilt her head,

"Now, Blanc, why would you tell your own standing guards to not let in one of your closest confidants" Vert haughtily spoke, and Blanc could only scoff, her face far more disgusted than it usually was, as she tried to force her way past the CPU,

"I'm not in the mood today. So, if you're here just to start shit, go home!" Blanc glared at the woman, who seemed to be taken slightly aback. Even if the two had their… disagreements from time to time, she wasn't usually met with this amount of open hostility. So, as Blanc walked by her, she eventually turned around, grabbing her hand,

"Blanc!" She called out, and as Blanc turned around her face didn't look any more pleased than it was a few moments ago, "I must ask. As your friend, are you ok?" She put emphasis on the middle word as if to try and convey to the petite brunette; she could be trusted if only this once.

"I.." And just for this once, Blanc actually felt the sentiment. Looking down to the floor, Blanc felt her voice leave her, for perhaps the first time. "I don't know" Was all she could say, and Vert felt something in her rile up, this just wasn't like Blanc at all,

"My, should we talk this through? I can make some tea if you would like" Vert tried her best to keep herself as usual to her personality as she could, even if she felt something twinge ever so slightly every time she looked at Blanc.

"I…. sure. We can talk in the study." Blanc seemed surprised by the genuine amicability of her friend, "I'll wait for you, you know where it is, correct?" She added soon thereafter, and after a nod, the two took off in different directions, and as Blanc sat waiting in the study, she couldn't help but think about the blonde woman. For years she considered her to be her enemy, and even after the two were no longer exchanging blows, it always felt weird between them.

Now that she thought about it… she didn't hate Vert, and she wasn't sure she ever did. Perhaps it was something else? But every time she looked at her, something just stirred up in her. And even if the two were much closer nowadays, that feeling seemed to still be present, or perhaps the feeling had changed? It seemed less… aggressive. Less like she wanted to take her giant hammer to her and more like… well Blanc didn't really know.

Letting out a deep sigh as she shook her head of the thoughts, Blanc continued her waiting, which was not long as Vert soon strode into the cozy study, two cups of tea in her hands. Offering one to Blanc, she soon took her own seat, looking at the brunette she didn't quite know how to start up. When was the last time the two had had a heart to heart? Vert wasn't even sure, perhaps after one of their long battles all those decades ago…

"Ahem… Blanc?" Vert eventually started, and right as the words left her lips, she saw as Blanc seemed to have that face on her again, and Vert felt that feeling again. Burying it, she dug herself in, "Blanc?"

"Should I just give up?" Blanc eventually responded, her voice quiet, and with not half the force it usually carried,

"Pardon?" Vert didn't seem to understand. Give up what? It wasn't as though she could give up on being a CPU, Rom and Ram weren't even close to being ready for that level of responsibility.

"Is there a point in doing something that you're not good at? Is it any fun if you're just forcing yourself just because you want to be good?" Blanc added, her eyes trained on the floor. Vert still seemed perplexed by the question, but soon would receive the clarification she needed, as Blanc opened her mouth to speak once more, "No matter how hard I try… My writing is just…" Blanc cringed as she tried explaining it, and finally Vert seemed to understand what she was dealing with,

"Blanc, it doesn't matter how good you are… what matters is you enjoy doing it," Vert said the first thing that came to her mind. In truth, she knew not what to say, she never knew Blanc to be the type to doubt herself, but as soon as the words left her mouth, she wished she could take them back, as she saw Blanc's face sour,

"That's easy for you to say! Huh!? That's really easy for you and the rest of em to say! You're such a damn good video games player, and… and Noire's a damn master craftswoman even if her cosplay shit is cringe, she's still good at it! Even Neptune is good at what she does when she's not bein' lazy! Hell! Even her damn sister is a goddamn genius robotics maker! And… and… and no matter what I do…" Blanc spat all the words in her mind, which nearly crushed her heart to smithereens. It hurt being the only one who seemed to be just not born for what her passion was.

"Blanc…" Was all Vert could say. Not knowing what to do with the raw emotion of her friend. And as she looked on her eyes torn, she was surprised when she saw a slew of paper flung at her,

"Go ahead read em" Was all Blanc said, and as Vert looked down, she scrunched her face,

"Soulless… Like a hopeless romantic…" She mumbled, "What are these, Blanc?" She seemed confused,

"Reviews. For my latest book," Blanc simply responded, and Vert felt her eyes widen,

"My… Blanc I-" Vert tried to start up,

"Don't bother."

"But Blanc… I read it." Vert eventually admitted, and Blanc slowly turned to face her, her eyes torn, and baffled. In truth, Vert never planned on revealing this detail to her friend, but, as it would appear, she had no choice. "I've been purchasing your books for years."

"How-"

"My dear… Weis is not a very clever pseudonym." Vert softly chuckled as Blanc felt an embarrassed hue form on her face, "But… that's not the point is it, hmm? The point is, I read your book. It's not terrible, you're not hopeless, it's just… well…" Vert tried her best to phrase it, but the words didn't seem to find her,

"Just what?" Blanc narrowed her eyes as she looked at her compatriot, who seemed to consider her words for a moment,

"Lacks a… soul? It seems to be you are writing of something you have no experience in and are projecting idealism into your work" Vert eventually said, as professionally as she could, yet Blanc still didn't seem to take this particularly well.

"The hell you mean tits for brains? Like you are talking from any experience yourself, all that blubber kill your brain cells?" She scoffed as she glared at the woman, who quickly responded as she had a hundred times over,

"Ah… see it's just that isn't it? For a woman of my maturity, it is as easy as can be to come by, I fear with your… ahem… situation… it may prove to be impossible. After all, who would want a woman with a personality as flat as her chest?" Vert spoke with no intended malice, or venom. But she soon felt gutted as she saw Blanc simply stand up, and slowly walk out of the room.

Almost immediately, she realized the mistake she had made, and quickly she took toward the smaller woman, "Blanc! Wait I didn't-" But the only thing she saw when the woman turned around was her cold, and distant eyes,

"Vert, get the hell out of here. I don't ever want to see you again." Blanc's words held no emotion behind them, as she coldly continued walking down the hall, leaving behind the shell shocked form of Leanbox's CPU, who could only look on to where her friend had departed from with distant eyes, for who knew how long, before she eventually left for her own nation once more, without another word.

"And I'm afraid that leads us to where we are now…" Vert sighed as she finished recalling what had transpired those weeks ago. "I… I know I probably don't deserve to be forgiven for what I did… but… I…" Vert started, but she felt her voice die as she tried to speak, yet, to her genuine shock, she soon felt the two young twins from Lowee wrap their hands around her. As Vert felt her eyes widen, her own tears welling up, she heard Rom speak first,

"You… you didn't mean it, did you?" She gently asked,

"...no, I didn't"

"You didn't mean to hurt sis, did you?" Ram asked, slightly more menacingly, as if she would be willing to freeze Vert on the spot, depending on her answer.

"No…" Yet, with what she was hearing now. Vert could feel her gut twisting, her mind empty.

"Well, then why don't you apologize to her?" Rom asked, as she and her twin took their seats once more, and Vert could only sigh as she looked down,

"Girls… as sweet as the thought is, I just don't know if I mend what I've done with words alone" Vert explained, she knew what she had done was wrong, and she wanted nothing more than to just take the words back, but she also knew; what was done is done. She had to live with it now, and she wasn't sure there was anything she could say to just fix it. But… The way Blanc looked… what Rom and Ram had told her. Vert had never felt so guilty in her whole life. And she wasn't sure why.

Sure, Vert considered, she had said similar things to her over the years, but never before had Blanc ever looked so hurt by what she had said. Never before did Vert ever consider that their banter could leave Blanc so hurt. There was something about what Vert had done that stung her in a way she could not describe. But why? Blanc… She wasn't allowed to look hurt. She was invincible. Fearless. A true stalwart. Yet, her face was always so soft. And. Cute.

Wait.

"Well… why don't you do something amazing for sis?" Ram added her own thoughts, and Vert considered it for a moment,

"Hmm but what?" Vert asked, surely, if there were any two people who would know what to do to make Blanc feel better, it would be these two. If she had any hope of redemption, it would lie in the hands of these two. And as she looked on with eager eyes, eventually Rom opened her mouth to speak,

"Well… why is sis even mad at you in the first place? You… you could start there and try to show her how sorry you are?" Rom added in her meager voice, and just as she thought her idea may have fallen on deaf ears, suddenly, a spark went off in Vert's eyes. A certified eureka moment. Standing up, her face bore a proud smile,

"That's it! Thank you so much, girls! I think I have it! I just have to make a phone call!" She boisterously explained, and as the twins looked at each other in confusion, Vert withdrew her phone making a call to a very specific greedy potion maker… she might have to pay a fortune, and even more so with her dignity…

But… she knew what she had to do. Somewhere in her mind… she finally put it all together… Now all she could do was hope and pray she didn't ruin everything beyond recovery.

Blanc sighed as she sat mindlessly at her desk. There was no work to be done, as she had done it all. She couldn't believe it, she never got all her work done like this. Hell, Noire never got her work done like this. But… it was all she could do. It was all she could do to take her mind off of-

"Who would want a woman with a personality as flat as her chest?"

There it was again. Vert's words repeated in her mind as she tried her best to shake it from her psyche. Why did it hurt so bad? Why did it feel like; it only hurt so bad because Vert said it. Why? It made no sense, how many times now had Vert made a snide comment about her chest? Dammit, she knew it was small. Why did Vert have to say it so much? And why did it hurt so uniquely when she said it like that?

Damnit! Why was she letting that selfish, stupid, fucking asshole ruin her thoughts again! How long had it been! Why was she still acting like a sappy loser! This wasn't her!

Yet… as soon as the Blanc felt the fire in her light… it went out again, doused in the drenching coldness of her own shame. As she slumped down, she heard a knock at her door, sighing she forced her voice to carry as much force as she could,

"This had better be important!" She yelled, and strangely, the person at the door seemed to hesitate before speaking,

"Uhh… it… it is" It was Rom. Immediately Blanc tilted her head, usually, Rom or Ram would just force their way into the room. Sighing once more, Blanc stood up as she opened the door,

"What is it?" She quietly asked, seeing Rom and Ram standing there, and they seemed to be anxious about something, tilting her head as if to cue them to continue, Ram eventually spoke up,

"We have someone here to see you," she said, as the two soon excused themselves, leaving Blanc even more confused. But, if she was confused now, her mind surely wasn't ready for the next thing she witnessed as she saw Rom and Ram cue for someone to walk down the hall.

Blanc could feel her face twinge when she saw the person turn the corner, the blonde hair fluttering almost made her want to lock herself in her room. Lock herself in her room and never leave. But, for the moment she just froze. And as Vert fully came into her view, Blanc felt her jaw nearly hit the floor,

"W-what the hell is this" Was all she could say, and as Vert nervously scratched her neck, she meekly responded,

"Uh… Hello Blanc"

"Don't 'hello' me! Wh- wha- what- WHAT THE HELLLLLL!" Finally, the sheer magnitude of what she was looking at sunk in. It wasn't just that Vert was standing in front of her… no… Vert was standing in front of her, and her chest looked to be the same size as Blanc's herself! "WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU!?" Blanc was rapidly blinking her eyes, pinching herself, anything she could to discern if this was reality or not. She wasn't even sure her own dreams could conjure something so out of place.

"W-well… I uh… I asked Gust to make me a potion to ahem s-shrink my chest…" Vert spoke in a tone very much unlike herself, it was as bashful as Blanc had ever heard the goddess, but Blanc could only furl her nose, as she stared dumbfounded,

"Now why the hell'd ya do somethin like that?" She asked as Vert continued to make her way down the hall,

"Blanc… I…" Now that she was standing right next to her, Vert felt everything she had planned to say slip away. All the elaborate, elegant ways she planned on apologizing. Gone. As if they never were planned at all. "I just… I'm so sorry…" Vert quietly said as she stared at the ground, "What I said was beyond out of place, and… and I know how much it probably hurt…" And as much as Vert wanted to go on and on, she soon found it impossible, well…

For some reason, all Blanc could do at the moment was bellow out a laugh. She laughed, and she laughed, until it felt like she couldn't breathe anymore, her lungs burning from the lack of oxygen. Her eyes flush with tears from her laughing. She didn't even know why. Just something about this all seemed so… impossible. Vert, her chest as flat as hers, apologizing? What a riot.

"This is a damn dream" was all she could manage after she somehow managed to stop her laughing. "As if Vert would do all this shit for me"

"But… Blanc" Vert didn't even know what to say. Something in her was mad at Blanc for ruining her moment, but another part of her was disgusted by herself even more. Did Blanc really have that low an opinion of her? Did she really express herself that poorly? Hey now? Wasn't it Noire who was supposed to be the tsundere…

"What? Next yer gonna tell me Noire finally told puddin' for brains how crazy she is about her? Or what? C-sha became a 5-star chef?" Blanc still just couldn't understand what she was seeing. This was just far beyond what she could comprehend.

To Vert, she felt a strange feeling bubbling more and more in her system. Was it truly that hard to believe she would do something nice for Blanc? She humiliated herself, just for her, and she didn't even believe it. The mocking and photos that she had endured at the hands of Neptune had to mean something, right!? Even if the potion would eventually ware off, no one would soon forget Vert looking like this! Well… if she had to endure that humiliation… The least Blanc could do was listen to her damn it!

"Well Blanc, if this is a dream, then listen to what I have to say," she huffed out, and Blanc slowly turned to face her, gears starting to turn, "What I said… I… I… didn't mean it… Do you know how, in games, oftentimes girls have a nasty habit of being mean to girls they really like?" She spoke, seemingly nervous about it all,

While Blanc looked up at her, the way she seemed to stutter on her words, the way she fidgeted, her brain slowly putting the pieces together… except. There was no damn way that's what this was about right? Vert? To her? Never in a million years. Blanc… wasn't worth it.

"The truth is… there is a person out there who would want someone with a personality as lovely as her body… It only took her hurting her badly for that person to realize it." Vert said, swallowing hard, forcing down the emotion in her system, "And… and I know I likely do not deserve pity, or forgiveness for my actions but-"

"Damnit if this is a dream anyway" Blanc interrupted as she was on her feet once more, and in a moment of boldness, likely catalyzed by the absurdity of the situation she was in, or perhaps she truly was moved by how far Vert had gone for her, whatever the reason was, she roughly planted a kiss on Vert's lips. Who felt her eyes widen, and as the fleeting moment passed, she stood there, eyes agape, a soft smile finally formed on her lips,

"Blanc… I sure hope you won't be disappointed when you learn this isn't a dream" The brunette could only roll her eyes,

"What, you say I need experience, and now you do that shit?" She laughed, still not quite certain what reality was anymore,

"Well… having read all of your work… I can certainly tell you have an idea in your head. So" Vert mischievously smiled, before scooping up the smaller woman in her arms. Like a prince to his princess. "I would be happy to treat you as a true prince shall!" She declared, and finally, finally, all the events that had just transpired accumulated in Blanc's mind, who felt her face flush to a color it never had in her entire life.

"E-e-eh?" She squeaked out. Her body shaking "O-Oi Vert! Let me down!" She tried to order, but her voice failed to hold any sort of weight, and the now petite blonde could only giggle,

"Don't worry my princess, I will protect you! With my soul and my life!" Vert quoted from one of Blanc's own books. And despite being more embarrassed than she ever had in her whole life, somewhere, somewhere in the deep reaches of Blanc's mind… she thought maybe this was what she wanted all along.
