Author's Note: The topic of culture can vary a lot from person to person which was always fascinating to me, and in a way that's inspired me a lot with this story between Naruto and Hinata and their ties into the cultural aspects shown here.

Naruto had been in the middle of a lecture for some new students at the Academy as requested by his life-long teacher Iruka Umino. He had known this instructor since he was a young boy, and always found himself in trouble on multiple occasions. When he had written words on The Great Stone Faces so that attention was given to him by the villagers. In time that eventually changed when the hyper-active knuckle-headed ninja had grown throughout the years, and understood what happened around them. How the ninja world was deep down from individual to individual he encountered along the way. There had been many things that occurred through his life up until where he currently was. A well respected ninja that people acknowledged over the years. Naruto Uzumaki had achieved his life-long dream for as long as he could've remembered. He was now The Seventh Hokage of Konoha. Some bits of his life had to have been excluded in his story for confidential reasons as advised by Shikamaru and a few of the sensei who taught him. Details such as the fact that Kurama had still resided within him after all these years. That might've brought some fear and terror upon the newer generation. Especially, due to the village's history of havoc and destruction that occurred and it was something Naruto didn't want them to have felt. They had fostered and adapted to how things currently were in the time of peace that the ninja world savored in over this past decade. Iruka Sensei even acknowledged how important this was too. Afterwards, the students were dismissed from the class once a Q & A session was followed up between Naruto and the students in class. The only one who didn't really have much to say was his own son Boruto Uzumaki. Not much was said between them, but it hadn't lasted long because once the session ended all the students had been free for the day.
"Thank you so much for that lecture, Naruto, it was really great." Iruka complimented the blonde Hokage.
Naruto scratched his head in embarrassment, "I'm honestly a bit surprised that I managed to keep all the sacred details out of it.. That was probably one of the most difficult things I dealt with in this lecture."
"Well not everyone is born perfect." Iruka sensei answered happily.
He nodded, "You can say that again..." as his stomach began to rumble mildly between them.
"Would you like to take you out to Ichiraku Ramen again?" Iruka asked curiously, "Ya know, for old times sake..."
Naruto's eyes glowed instantaneously for a split second before he kept his composure in check, "I honestly would love to Iruka sensei, but there are a few things I've got take care of."
"Ah yes, sometimes it's hard to imagine how busy you are these days as the Hokage is an amazing place." His former academy instructor continued.
"Don't worry Iruka Sensei..." Naruto sat his hand on Iruka's shoulder, "We'll definitely plan it out some other time."
"Of course."
Naruto had quickly disappeared from the empty classroom. It was through his most famous technique: Shadow Clone Jutsu. In actuality, The Seventh Hokage had looked over a lot of paperwork stacked against his desk with a bright smile on his face. At the simple thought where they both could enjoy ramen together at Ichiraku just like it was back in the day.
Someone banged against the door a few times which caught Naruto's attention, "Come in..."
The door swung open at an immensely slow rate like time had slowed down, but he recognized her instantly in a matter of seconds. That smile was easily the most recognizable aspect about her... About his wife. Hinata Hyuga-Uzumaki.
"I'm so happy to see you, dear!" She answered kindly with a box tied in a double knotted red bow in her hands.
Naruto blinked without a thought, "Hinata! It's rare for me to see you come by the office. I thought you'd be spending time with the kids around this time?"
"Usually yes, but Hanabi came and promised to watch over Hanabi for a few hours, and Boruto is out with a few friends." Hinata explained as she sat in the seat across from her husband, "So I thought about making this for the both of us."
Naruto smiled affectionately, "Thank you very much Hinata, but sometimes I feel bad to put you through all of this." as his eyes dimmed, "I know I haven't been able to spend as much time with you or the kids since I've become The Hokage, but..."
"You don't have to say a word, Naruto!" She tightly held onto his hand with her gaze directed towards him, "The whole village has become your family, deep down I think our children realize that. If not, they'll eventually realize it."
"You're right, Hinata... Maybe I'm just overthinking it here..." Naruto continued with his focus towards his wife, "I should probably take things a bit easy."
Hinata nodded, "That's exactly why I'm here now..." as she undid the ribbon slowly then lifted the container that revealed her own homemade ramen, "To spend this moment with you here!"
He thought back to the time when they were kids in the meadow field, "Thank you, Hinata this really means a lot to me."
"That makes two of us." She continued as her cheeks became red alongside her husband.
Naruto grabbed one of the pair of chopsticks, and shared the first bite to Hinata, and grabbed the second pair of chopsticks and shared a bite to him. Each minute that passed between them in the office, Naruto and Hinata savored it together.
I'm sure, a lot of you know the signficance behind the symbolism behind a Bento Box in Japanese Culture and this was something we've seen a few times within the Naruto universe from a few characters. I remembered it was briefly shown during Naruto Gaiden aka The Sarada Uchiha Arc when Boruto rushed over to give Naruto the box Hinata gave him. The anime episode also gave me a bit of an inspiration from the original series when Naruto and Hinata sat in the fields, and it was so moving to me. For the time being, that is pretty much all I've gotta say about this particular story and I will see you guys really soon. Until then everyone, I hope everyone has a great day, or night, and as always thank you all so much for reading everyone!
