My Cockatiel Husband
Hizashi was starting to believe Shouta about the fact that Class 1-A had to be cursed – also including Aizawa, himself – when Tsukauchi came into Heights Alliance with a very drunk looking Shouta Aizawa draped over his shoulder and a sympathetic smile on his face.
Hizashi had simply been enjoying a movie night with Shouta's students, waiting for the Erasure Hero to return back to U.A. but this wasn't not what he had expected. Hizashi had jumped up from the couch, along with many of the concerned students as his eyes settled on his husband. Shouta's hair was in his face, but he could see the deep flush on his cheeks, his glossy eyes, and the way that he was rambling under his breath.
"What happened?" Hizashi questioned, the concern going through him as he maneuvered his way around the common room to get towards where Tsukauchi was still trying to keep Shouta up right.
Tsukauchi gave a nervous chuckle, adjusting Shouta again as he said, "Well, the police were apprehending a criminal and Eraser happened to be walking by and pulled this little boy away from all the chaos. To say the least, he had accidentally activated his quirk." Tsukauchi explained, "His mother informed us his quirk is called Drunk. It gives the affected person… well, it makes them drunk. Should wear off after he sleeps."
Hizashi blinked. Well, this was going to be interesting.
It felt like as if it was almost on cue that Shouta had chosen that second to poke up his head, his eyes settling on him for a second. Shouta swatted at Tsukauchi's chest, motioning towards Hizashi with a quick swipe of his head, "See! That's my cockatiel husband! The one I was telling you about." Hizashi choked on the air in his throat for a second. Shouta had no filter at the moment. Which only typically happened if he was really intoxicated. Shouta stopped for a moment as he looked at him, noticing that Hizashi didn't have his hair do made up. He gasped, "What happened to the cockatiel?!"
Hizashi was amused to say the least as Shouta moved away from Tsukauchi, getting over to him within a few strides. Shouta was already flush against his side as Hizashi reached out to stabilize him as he put his attention back on Tsukauchi. "Thanks for bringing him home."
Tsukauchi smiled and waved his hand as he started back towards the door. "It was no problem." He stated, "I didn't want Eraser walking around town like that after the paramedics cleared him. He's absolutely fine. Just apparently… really drunk."
"Thanks again." Hizashi stated as Tsukauchi made his exit.
Shouta's arms had snaked their way around his neck, his hands picking at his hair with mumbles of, "What happened to the bird hair?" As Hizashi turned back towards the students. There was a mixture of amused looks and some of concern. When Shouta was intoxication, he was practically a completely different person, but only if he reached a certain limit with alcohol consumption. He normally never let it get that far, but in this case, it was because of a quirk. Not much he could do about that but to wait for it to wear off.
"Is he… okay?" Midoriya questioned.
"I've never seen Aizawa-sensei like this." Iida gaped.
"None of us have." Todoroki retorted.
Their comments had ripped Shouta's attention away from Hizashi's hair and to them as he suddenly let out an exclaim of, "It's my kids!" Hizashi had to reach up and cover his mouth to cover the laugh that threatened to escape him as Shouta broke away from him again and made his way over. The students looked taken back for a second, but Midoriya had fallen victim to Shouta next. The Erasure Hero wrapped his arms around Midoriya's head, settling his cheek against the top of his head.
"Aizawa-sensei?!" Midoriya gasped.
"This is my biggest problem child." Shouta sighed. "He's going to give me heart failure before I turn thirty-two. He's the Three Dumbingos combined into one body."
"Dumbingos?" Midoriya whispered.
Hizashi couldn't help but chuckle but walked forward to try and help Midoriya free himself to the now clinging Aizawa. "Are you sure he's okay?" Todoroki questioned.
This didn't help in the slightest as Aizawa turned to Todoroki. Aizawa did in fact like Midoriya go, but instead placed his hands on either side of Todoroki's face. "I'm so glad you're not like Endeavor. I can't stand that man." Aizawa stated, giving a soft smile as he moved to ruffle Todoroki's hair. "I adore you."
Todoroki looked confused for a second, peering over to Hizashi in a help me look as he muttered out, "Thank you?"
"Aizawa-sensei, I think you need to take your ass to bed." Bakugou hissed. "You're creeping me out."
Aizawa let out nothing short of a giggle. One of those laughs that he could only achieve with the help of adult beverages as he grabbed ahold of Bakugou. Bakugou looked even more annoyed by the second as Hizashi decided that he should definitely intervene before the Explosion user lashed out at his teacher. "This one is my little explosive kitten." Aizawa purred, practically petting the top of Bakugou's head. "I really like this one. He reminds me of—"
"I'm not—" Bakugou screamed before Hizashi did manage to pry Aizawa away from his student. "What the hell is wrong with him?! How does being drunk make him act like this?!"
Aizawa was still in a fit of his own laughter as he practically twirled on his feet when his capture weapon slipped off of his shoulders. It kept him distracted in the meantime as Hizashi explained with, "When Eraser drinks, especially certain liquors, all of his tough exterior just bleeds away. He can become like this sometime. It'll wear off."
Hizashi reached out while he was speaking, stopping Shouta from continuing to turn in circles. Shouta paused, his body swaying slightly as he muttered out, "Oh boy, dizzy." He peeked up, motioning towards his students as he smiled up at Hizashi. There was a twinkle in his eye as he burst out with, "These are my students!"
"I know they are." Hizashi replied. It was taking everything in him not to just burst out laughing from watching Shouta. The Erasure Hero was ticking every single box of showing a side of him that he typically kept hidden behind wall after wall.
"They are amazing, Hizashi!" He stated, "Don't tell them that though. They aren't supposed to know how much I actually like them."
The Voice Hero chuckled, making a zipping motion over his lips as he winked, "Your secret is safe with me."
Aizawa grinned, scratching at his overshirt as he quickly changed the topic of conversation, "It's really hot. I'm really hot." He started, huffing for a second as he pulled off his capture weapon, letting it drop to the floor as he reached for the zipper of his costume, "I have too many layers on. I need to take these layers off."
As he went to unzip it, Hizashi reached out his hand to stop him. Aizawa looked at up him through his curtain of black bangs. Glossy eyes leveled on him. "Let's not be doing that in front of your students, Shou." He knew that if he let Aizawa do it, Aizawa was absolutely just going to get out of the jumpsuit completely and he wasn't about to let that happen. Even if he was internally wheezing inside watching all of this. Shouta was a fun drunk. It was a shame he didn't get drunk more. It was entertaining to say the least.
Shouta blinked, his face flushing over a bit more as he looked over his shoulder at his students. It almost seemed like he couldn't stay on topic. "I—" It was like he was short circuiting for a second as he twirled around on his heels again, facing his students completely, "Have you met my husband?" He threw out, leaning back against Hizashi, his hand landing on Hizashi's chest, "He might look like a cockatiel, but I really love this guy." He smiled, burying his nose into Hizashi's neck as he muttered out, "I really love you."
As much as he was amused, he knew he should probably get Shouta off to bed instead of letting him continue this in front of his students. Hizashi went to take a step back, grabbing Shouta by the hand before starting off towards the door. "I'm going to go get him into bed. Sorry to disturb your night."
"It's not a problem at all." Iida stated, "Take care of him, sensei."
Hizashi grinned, "Always, listener."
It only seemed like it could get worse from there as suddenly the door was thrown open and All Might came rushing in with a panicked look on his face. Aizawa gasped, pushing away from Hizashi with a, "It's All Might." The confusion that came to All Might's face is finally what broke the dam and Hizashi was bellowing out a laugh as Aizawa shot across the room, a look of admiration on his face.
All Might blinked at him. The visible confusion there as he motioned towards the door, "I saw Tsukauchi…" All Might whispered, "I see now. It's like the tequila fiasco all over again."
Hizashi could hear the confused mutters behind him as he tilted his head back and said, "After they talked to all your parents, they went out for drinks, and both got wasted. That was fun trying to get both of their giggling, stumbling asses home."
"I thought you didn't drink, All Might?" Midoriya questioned.
All Might shrugged, "Aizawa-kun offered and I accepted, and we went a bit… overboard. Recovery Girl ripped me a new one for it." He placed a smile on his face, looking down at Aizawa who was bouncing on his feet, "Hey, there, Aizawa-kun? A bit quirk drunk there?"
Aizawa shook his head, "I'm not drunk, you're just blurry." Hizashi was still wheezing as he walked over, deciding that enough was enough at this point. "All Might! This is Hizashi! My cockatiel husband!" He waved at Hizashi for a second, before pausing with a frown, "Without his damn cockatiel look. I'm mad at him for it."
"I thought you said it was impractical?" All Might questioned.
Aizawa huffed, "It is, but he likes it." He grumbled out. He took a step, miscalculating where he was standing, which had caused his foot to slip before he was falling back.
"Alright, as fun as this is, you are going to kill me in the morning for letting this play out." Hizashi stated, already moving to haul Aizawa off of the floor. Scooping up his legs and keeping his back balanced. Shouta had let out a shocked sound, arms immediately moving to cling around the blonde's shoulders. Once again, he flashed a grin to the others, "Alright, we are going now. Have a good night!" As he did finally get out of Heights Alliance, he could hear the chorus of good nights that followed him.
Shouta had calmed down for the most part as Hizashi got to Shouta's assigned dorm, fishing out his copy of the key before letting them in. He knew once Shouta's head touched the pillow, he would be dead to the world.
Shouta was absolutely going to kill him if he remembered any of this.
So, for now, he had just helped get him ready for bed. Helping to slip him out of his hero costume and into some sweatpants. The exhaustion was clear on Aizawa's face now as Hizashi helped him over to the bed, settling him down and pulling the blanket up.
He wasn't able to actually move away before Aizawa had reached out, keeping ahold of his wrist, and pulling him onto the bed beside him. Hizashi smiled, whispering out, "Go to sleep, Shou." Placing a gentle kiss against his forehead.
It didn't take much longer before Shouta was out, curled up in his side. Hand curled into his shirt to keep him in place. Hizashi just smiled.
"You are going to be so mad tomorrow."

Aizawa's head was throbbing the next morning when he got prepared for school. He didn't remember anything from the day before beside seeing an incident in town and then it was just blank. He had searched for his capture weapon, which had seemingly vanished, but he made a mental note to ask Hizashi about it later, but he had a class to get to.
He had taken some pain medication to help combat the headache, but it wouldn't be the first time that he taught a class with one. If he was being completely honest, it felt like he was hungover, but he was positive that he hadn't drank the night before. He hadn't been drunk since that night he went out with All Might.
Hizashi was already gone when he had woken up, which wasn't odd considering he probably went back to his own dormitory to get his hero costume.
When he got to the classroom, he had thrown the door open like normal. Receiving the good mornings from his students. Much to his surprise, his capture weapon was sitting right on the podium as he walked in. His students were being quiet like normal as he reached for it, slipping it on.
The silence was only cut through by Yaoyorozu saying, "Are you okay, Aizawa-sensei?"
"You look rough." Shinsou added.
"Do you remember anything?" Ashido questioned.
Aizawa blinked. What happened the night before? He shook his head, not even caring for the moment due to the pounding in his head. "I'm fine." He mumbled, adjusting his weapon on his shoulders.
The only clue he got was, "So, you really do like us, huh, Aizawa-sensei?"
He had activated his quirk, hissing out, "Time for class." Without another word, he began the lesson with a severe desire to hunt down Hizashi and question him. It also explained the cryptic message on his phone that he had this morning from his husband.
So, you really think I look like a cockatiel?
