Black Sabbath

Izuku let out a groan as he regained consciousness. Last thing he remembered was having a hard time fighting two cat men in an alley before he was blindsided by a bear man. His eyes then widened when he remembered what he was doing before the fight.

'Kyouka!'

At the thought of his girlfriend, Izuku was about to go find her, but found that he couldn't move. Looking down, and overlooking that he was patched up, he found that he was strapped to a chair. What made things worse was that he couldn't use his Quirk.

'Quirk suppressants?' he thought, trying to push down his panic. He had to stay calm if he was to come up with a plan. First things first, assess the situation.

Glancing around his surroundings, he found that he was in a stone brick room that was dimly lit by multiple candles, almost as if he were in an old castle from medieval times. Izuku was afraid that he might not even be in Japan anymore. The only other thing in the room was a large black book resting on a stand. Izuku wasn't sure why it was there, but he just knew it was important to whoever captured him.

It was then that the door creaked open and a man in black robes and hood entered the room with the lion man and tiger man right behind him. From what Izuku could tell, this man was completely human compared to his companions.

"Ah, you're finally awake. I was worried that my friends here roughed you up too much," stated the man, a smirk on his face and humor in the bright blue eyes that could be seen from the shadows of his hood. From the man's accent, Izuku could tell he was American, which made his worry on whether or not he was still in Japan grow.

Izuku then glanced at the two felines, noticing the vacant stares they held. Stares that became unfortunately familiar to the greenie ever since the USJ.

'Are these a new form of Nomu?! No, that can't be. They don't have exposed brains, yet something about them feels off.'

"Now you might be wondering why you're here, boy," started the robed man.

"Are you with the League of Villains?" demanded Izuku, giving the man a narrowed look.

There was genuine confusion in the man's eyes and voice. "League of Villains? Never heard of them. Now where was I…ah, yes! You're probably wondering why you're here. Well, you're here because apparently, you interfered with my organization's recruitment process."

"…Recruitment process?" questioned the greenie, his gaze narrowing even further. "Your "friends" here tried to kidnap a woman!"

The man just waved it off. "Details, details. She would have been perfect for our group, but you got in the way. At least it wasn't a total loss."

"Wh-What do you mean?"

The man then snapped his fingers, which signaled the cat men to unlatch Izuku from the chair, but kept the Quirk suppressant bonds on the boy. Then they each grabbed him by an arm and led him out of the room as they followed their master.

As they walked down the hall, they soon entered a larger room where Izuku found that they were on the second floor. What really caught Izuku's attention though, was the multiple people in black robes chanting and praying to a large beast-like statue.

"I know what you're thinking and yes, this is a cult," stated the man with a laugh when he noticed Izuku's blank look. "And I, well, you may refer to me as Black Sabbath."

"Why am I here?"

"It's simple. You're going to be our newest member!"

Izuku whipped his head to look at the man. "Wh-What?! I'm not joining a cult!"

But the man only "tsk-tsked" in humor. "Oh you foolish boy, you don't have a choice after what you did."

"What I did?"

"As I mentioned before, my followers here were trying to recruit members when you interrupted them. Luckily for you though, I'm told you have a strength enhancing Quirk, which will come in handy for what I have planned for you."

"I refuse."

Sabbath frowned at this. "I already told you, you don't have a choice."

"I'm not joining a cult! What are you even trying to accomplish anyway?!"

A few chuckles escaped the man. "Sorry, boy, but I have no intention of telling you my plans. Not a big fan of monologues. I will tell you this, though; you'll have a big part in our ranks! I might even make you my right hand man!"

"I already told you that I'm not joining you!" declared Izuku, glaring at the cult leader.

The air then left Izuku when Sabbath lashed out and grabbed him by the throat. As Izuku struggled to breathe, a cruel smile appeared on Sabbath's partially hidden face.

"And I already told you that you don't have a choice."

"Y-You won't g-get away w-with this," gasped Izuku, trying to pry Sabbath's hand off his neck.

But Sabbath just let out a humorless laugh. "What? You think you can stop me, boy? Not going to happen."

Izuku watched as Sabbath raised his other hand and his eyes widened when the hand became engulfed in a black, flame-like aura.

'What is that?!' thought the greenie; doing everything he could to stay conscious.

"Sleep tight, boy," said Sabbath he his fiery hand reached towards the struggling Izuku's head.

Izuku's screams could be heard all throughout the cult's headquarters, but not a single soul paid the boy's pain any attention as they stared into space with their vacant gazes.

CHAPTER END

-:-

And we're introduced to the arc's villain. What could he have possibly done to our favorite greenie?

Compared to the other soundtrack stories I've done, I don't have to outright rush with this one. With the other ones I would post all the chapters in one go, but with this one I can maybe, hopefully, get a new chapter out every other day.
