"Ok class! Recess time!" Calypso announced "Penny, why don't you go play with that blue Heeler over there?" "Ok!" Penny walked over to Bluey, who was playing with Chloe, Coco and Judo. "Hi there," Penny greeted them "What's your girls' names?" Penny asked. "I'm Bluey! This is Chloe, Coco and Judo!" Bluey introduced everyone.

"Those are good names!" Penny said. "May I play with you guys?" Penny asked. "Sure! We were just deciding-" Bluey got interrupted. "We are playing Hair Salon," Judo said "It might not be the best game for you" "Yeah..." Chloe and Coco agreed. "Oh, ok. I'll just-" Penny got interrupted this time. "It's ok! I'll play a different game with you, Penny!" Bluey insisted.

"Follow me!" Bluey and Penny ran to the sand box. "This place is good for people who don't have a lot of hair or don't have any hair," Bluey explained "It doesn't get you messy!" Bluey and Penny laughed a little, but Penny still looked a little upset.

"Uh, if you don't mind me asking, is your cancer contagious?" Bluey asked. "Oh no, it's not contagious! I wouldn't be here if it was, it's a terrible disease." Penny explained. "Luckily, I'm still able to do everything a normal healthy dog can do, except have normal hair" Penny said.

"My little sister, Bingo, has a disease where she can't eat things with gluten," Bluey said. "Maybe you could come over and meet her one day!" "Great idea! I'll ask my dad!" Penny and Bluey agreed.

"I bet your sister doesn't get bullied that she can't eat gluten things," Penny sighed "That's the reason I'm at this new school is so people won't bully me, but those girls didn't seem to like me" "Don't worry! It may take some time for other people to get used to you!" Bluey explained "Also, Calypso is a very nice teacher, she won't let anybody bully you!" "You're right!" Penny agreed.

The day had ended as soon as it began, it was dinner time for the Heeler family. "I had a new student named Penny today! She has a disease called cancer" Bluey explained to her family. "Oh, that's good that you made a new friend!" Chilli said.

"What's a can-cer?" Bingo asked. "It's a permanent disease where your cells divide" Bandit answered. "What's a cell?" Bingo asked, again. "It's like atoms but it's only in living things" Bandit answered, again. "Wow! That's must be painful" Bingo exclaimed. "It's usually not" Bandit said.

"Dad, how do you know so much about cancer?" Bluey finally asked. "I used to have a friend who had it" Bandit said. "Do you still talk to them?" Bingo asked. "Uh... no, I haven't seen her in a long time" Bandit said.

Bluey wanted to make sure that she would be friends with Penny forever. Since Bluey learnt that cancer was permanent, she wanted to protect Penny from the bullies forever.
