"Lion Guard defends!"
That was the famous battle cry of the lion guard comprised of course of Kion,Bunga,fuli, Beshte and Ono. They were currently charging through a field to get to the herd of Muhimu as they were having a bit of a problem and that problem was that something spooked the Zebra.
Leading the lion guard to the location of the herd was Muhimu's son Hamu who was the one who came to the Lion guard for help. After Running for a minute they arrived to the location where the lion guard noticed a massive crowd gathered around one place and that was at a fairly small rocky cliff.
The lion guard immediately went over to the crowd gently pushing their way past everyone until they got to Muhimu. Hamu went over to Muhimu side "Mom I got the lion guard." he said proudly.
"That's great sweetie."Muhimu said as she looked at the Lion guard "Please help us."She said with fear in her voice.
"Hamu said something spooked you guys?"Kion asked with wonder looking around. "Yeah it was a snake."A female zebra said with fear the Lion guard looked at the heard "start at the beginning what happened?"Kion asked calmy
"Ok well we were all eating grass and having a good time until someone screamed snake."Muhimu said the Lion guard looked at each other curiously "what kind was it,did anyone see it?"Beshte asked curiously "I did, it was big, bigger than a snake should be, it looked to be a combination of brown and bronze with these splotches on it's scales."a female zebra said with fear in her voice the description of the snake made the other zebras nervous as well some of them wanted to run again.
Ono put on a thinking face as the description of the snake sounded familiar to him after about a few seconds his eyes lit up "That sounds like an African Rock Python." everyone including the Lion guard looked at Ono "A rock python, is it like actually a snake made of rocks."Bunga asked in confusion but also in interest as he never heard of a snake being made of rocks.
"No that's just a name, African Rock Pythons can get pretty big and they are very agressive and dangerous."Ono said with nervousness.
"Exactly how dangerous are we talking here?"Fuli asked "Very, African Rock Pythons are constrictors meaning they don't need venom to take down their prey they instead coil around their victim and squeeze until they stop breathing, common knowledge really."Ono said making everyone stare at him with suprise and a little bit of fear.
"Hevi kabisa."Kion said as he looked at Muhimu "Well look like you guys were smart to panic and run."Fuli said "It was in there, the grass we're too scared go back it's probably still there don't let it eat us."Muhimu cried in distress "Don't worry Muhimu no snake is going to snack on your herd, as long as we're around."Bunga said with sheer confidence as he started to march towards the grass itching to tie the Rock Python into a knot.
Bunga and the Lion guard started looking around for any sign of the Rock Python but found nothing so far "Where are you, Rock snake, Come on out, we're going to find you."Bunga said with a slight unnerving singsongy voice which was creeping out the others "Let's hope one of us finds the snake before Bunga does."Fuli said looking at Bunga completely concerned.
Bunga is known to dive headfirst into any situation without thinking and being the bravest of the Lion guard and a honey badger Bunga never backed down from a potential fight even though it was smart to do so. "Hmm I'm not seeing any Rock Pythons."Beshte said looking around.
"Ono can you do a fly around and see if you can spot the snake?"Kion asked Ono nodded and took to the skies and started scanning the grass for the snake after flying around for a couple of seconds Ono spotted something large moving through the grass a few yards away from Beshte "got it it's over here!"Ono yelled out "Ah ha,Zuka Zama!"Benga exclaimed as he charged over to the spot much to the others alarm.
"No Bunga wait!"Kion exclaimed but it was too late Bunga was already over at the spot and immediately grabbed what appeared to be the tail of the Rock Python and yanked on it. Which made the rock python quickly turn have it's body around and looked at Bunga with the most frightening scowl ever but Bunga wasn't afraid the the Rock Python spoke in a rather slightly Young masculine voice.
"You have exactly 5 seconds to let go of my tail."he growled Bunga snorted "or what?"
The rock python hissed viciously showing his sharp backwards facing teeth to Bunga and before he could do anything the other lion guard members got there in time "Wait wait hold on ,Bunga let him go."Kion said Bunga immediately let go of the snake's tail "Sorry about that you know how honey badger's are."Kion said "We're the Lion guard, what's your name?"Beshte asked in a friendly manner.
"Ebenezer,What is this about why are you bothering me?"Ebenezer asked "We should be asking you why you bothering the zebras."Bunga said stoicly Ebenezer looked at him with confusion and anger "What how dare you,I wasn't bothering anyone I was just minding my own business until one of the zebra's saw me and freaked out."Ebenezer said with a frown.
Kion nodded his head as he listened to Ebenezer, it's common knowledge that zebras get spooked very easily and given Ebenezer's size and frightening presence of course they would run. "So scaring the zebra's was not your intention?"Fuli asked for clarification "No, I've got better things to do than scare zebras."Ebenezer responded rather hotly "like what?"Bunga asked crossing his arms with a smug expression on his face.
Ebenezer scowled at him before responding "Like not be around you." then Ebenezer slithered away disappearing into the grass and out of the Lion guard's view. After they were sure he was gone the lion guard went back to Muhimu's herd.
"It's safe now everyone the snake is gone."Kion said with a smile "Yeah it won't bother you anymore now that the Lion guard chased him off."Bunga said proudly as Muhimu's herd celebrated Fuli rolled her eyes knowing that wasn't exactly what happened but decided to let Bunga have his moment.
