If Bluey wanted to keep her friend forever, she needed to form a good bond. She was afraid of becoming one of Penny's bullies. Once it was recess time she asked Penny if to the sand box again. "Did you have friends at your old school?" Bluey asked. "No... I was homeschooled for a while after I moved from that old school," Penny explained "But I do really like this school!"
"So I am your first friend?" Bluey asked. "Yeah!" Penny said. "Wow" Bluey was surprised by that. Penny was so kind, why wouldn't anybody not wanna be her friend all because she has cancer?
The next few weeks, Bluey would play with Penny ever single day. One day when Bluey came home, she had some excited news. "Dad! Can Penny come over soon?" Bluey asked. "I don't see why not! How about Friday?" Bandit said. They agreed on Friday that Bluey's friend would join them for their afternoon.
It was finally Friday, Bluey was so excited for Bingo to meet Penny, and for Penny to see her house. Bluey watched out the window for her friend to arrive.
Bluey's friend finally showed up in a black minivan. Bluey and Bingo ran outside to greet her. When the minivan parked in the driveway, Penny hopped out of the car with her 2 little siblings, 1 older sister and her dad.
Penny's siblings and dad looked nothing like her. Let's just say, they were fluffy and had lots of long fur. Bingo didn't want to be rude but couldn't help but stare at the hairless dog.
"Penny!" Bluey shouted as she ran to hug Penny. "Hi Bluey! This is my dad!" Penny pointed to the dog standing next to her. He had big ears that had long fur on them.
"Hi Penny's dad!" Bluey reached her hand out to shake his hand. "Hi there! You can call me Pierre!" Pierre greeted Bluey. "This is my older sister, Parker!" Penny pointed to a teenager dog who Bluey thought looked cool and mature. "'Sup" Parker said as she waved to Bluey, Bluey waved back.
"And last but certainly not least, my little siblings, Paige and Pedro!" The two little identical pups both shouted "Hello! We're twins!" to Bluey, Bluey waved of them. "You have a lot of siblings," Bluey said "This is my little sister, Bingo!" Bingo waved quickly. "Let's go!" Penny followed Bluey into her house to start the play date.
