Subaru was sentenced to ten years in prison. Apparently the country of Lugnica takes their 'lolimancer' laws very seriously. He was locked up in one of the most renowned prisons that was even designed to house witch cultists.
At this very moment, Subaru was in the prison yard dressed in prison clothes as he was hammering away at boulders. "Ughhhh…" The boy complained. "This is gonna take forever…"
Subaru had to break down all these boulders until they were essentially gravel. He didn't exactly know why but this labor was torture.
"Do not worry, Subaru. Betty will assist you." The blonde twin tail loli proudly declared next to the depressed boy. She was no longer in her fancy red dress and instead was dressed up in prison clothes and her little crown was replaced with a very tiny prison cap.
This girl was named Beatrice and she was the reason why Subaru was in prison to begin with. Subaru just gave the proud loli a dead look before looking over to the knights that were monitoring the prison yard. "Can you tell me why she's with me again?"
The knights looked over to Subaru and Beatrice for a moment before answering. "Since she is your contracted spirit, we aren't allowed to separate you from her."
Subaru blinked a few times. "Spirit? Wait, isn't that proof that I'm innocent then?!"
The knights silently stared at Subaru with a dull look. Without saying a word, the knights turned around and walked away.
"Hey! Don't just walk away, you corrupted knights!" Subaru yelled. He tried to run over to them but his legs were shackled to Beatrice's legs and he nearly tripped.
"Be careful, Subaru!" Beatrice scolded. "Betty could've fallen and seriously hurt herself, I suppose!"
"You're the reason why I'm in this mess! Why did you accuse me of harassing you like that?!" Subaru yelled.
Beatrice crossed her arms and looked away before letting out a loud humph. "Betty did no such thing! If you remember, Betty stated that you were that person, in fact."
"What does that even mean?! You made it sound like a confession!"
Beatrice began to fiddle her fingers together as she started to blush. "Well, what it means to be that person… It means that you exist for Betty's sake and that you'll love and care for her to the best of your abilities, I suppose~"
Subaru really wanted to argue with that. After all, it sounds like some sort of arranged marriage she made up on the spot. However, she looks really happy and knowing Subaru, he didn't really want to take happiness away from a little girl. "If you wanted a friend, you could've just asked…"
That was pretty close to what Beatrice was trying to imply so the spirit just went with it. After all, this was the first time the boy offered any kind of positive relationship between the two since they got arrested. "If that is the case, then Betty will accept your offer to be your friend as well as your contracted spirit, I suppose."
Subaru didn't exactly offer anything like that but he just went with it. He was both way too exhausted and stressed out to argue about this any longer. "Let's just break these rocks already…"
The loli spirit happily nodded in agreement as she swung her pickaxe in unison with Subaru. "Ugh… Why does no one believe me…?" Subaru continued to complain as he kept hammering.
"I believe you, Subaru." A familiar voice called out from behind the boy.
Subaru turned around and widened his eyes. "Reinhard?! I thought you were let out already!"
Reinhard was also in prison clothes. He didn't look upset or mad about being here, just really calm and casual. "I was. However, it turns out I violated Lugnica's new child labor laws. Hiring Grassis and Flam as maids wasn't something the council liked."
Well, Subaru actually felt relieved by this. At least he wasn't the only person in this country getting screwed by these laws. "Well, I guess let's get back to hammering."
Reinhard looked to the boulders and back to Subaru. "You know, hammering these boulders is optional."
"Wait, what?"
"Yes, these boulders are set to be hammered if you want to pass the time while you're out here. I didn't say anything earlier because I assumed you were bored."
Subaru dropped the hammer and fell to his knees. "That's it, I think I've finally gone mad."
Beatrice wrapped her arms around the despairing boy. "Not to worry, Subaru. Your cute contracted spirit will be happy to work as your therapist, in fact."
As much as he was mad at the very girl who got him locked up, a hug felt pretty damn good right about now. Finally giving up, Subaru wrapped his arms around the young looking spirit girl. "Th-Thanks…"
Beatrice felt very warm. Her embrace was both gentle and caring. The feeling of her slim body only made him want to protect this girl even more. Honestly, it reminded him a lot of Liliana's hugs.

Damn, he thought. Subaru missed his cute little bard.
"Yoo-Hoo!! Subaru!"
Even now, it's like he could hear her calling out to him.
"Stop ignoring me! I'm up here!"
Yeah, she said the silliest of things all the time. Like, how could he ignore her? She clung onto him as much as this spirit did so ignoring her was damn near impossible. He wishes he could see her again.
"He's not listening! What should I do, Felt?"
Huh, now he kinda wonders how those two would get along. Felt was the feisty type so it would probably be hard at first but he was sure they'd get along eventually.
"Grr…! Pull your head out of your ass and look to your left!"

Subaru knocked over into Beatrice as his head was hit with a rock.
"EEEP!" The spirit cried. "Don't throw yourself onto me so suddenly! B-Betty's maidenly heart isn't ready for that yet, I suppose!"
Subaru got himself back up and looked in the direction the rock came from. Sitting atop the prison wall was a very annoyed Felt with her arms crossed glaring at Subaru. "Took ya long enough! Hurry the hell up and get over here."
"Felt?! What are you doing here?" Subaru called out.
"What does it look like we're doing? We're getting your sorry ass outta here. Just get over here already before the guards get back." After those words, Felt tossed down a rope.
Now that Subaru took a better look at his surroundings, she was right. There weren't any knights around. Not wanting to let this opportunity go to waste, she lifted up Beatrice and rushed over to the rope. "I kinda need a little help with this if you don't mind."
Felt seemed to glare at Beatrice who was currently staying silent. The spirit had a delighted look on her face as she was being princess carried by Subaru. "Grr, yeah, whatever. Cmon Liliana."
"Wait, Lilly is here?!"
On cue, Liliana poked her head from behind the wall. "Subaru! I'm so glad you're ok!"
"Wait, time out! What are you doing here? You know that you're about to break a lot of laws right now!"
The short bard pointed to the boy accusingly. "Hey! You seemed more than willing to run away with Felt just now! Why is it a problem if I'm the one to rescue my own boyfriend!"
Subaru shook his head frantically. "No, it's not like that! I just don't want you to get arrested and locked up!"
Felt lifted an eyebrow. "So it's alright if I'm arrested then?"
This instantly flustered Subaru. "N-No! I-I meant to say that I'd trust you more than Liliana with prison breaks!"
The golden haired girl rolled her eyes. "Whatever, let's get going already. My distraction isn't gonna work forever."
Everyone agreed and started to get into position before they started hauling Beatrice and Subaru up the wall. However, they all ran into another set of problems as a certain goody two shoes made their presence known.
"I'm sorry but I'm afraid I cannot allow this."
Everyone turned to find Reinhard looking at the group with a serious expression.
"Rein? Why are you trying to stop us? Aren't you a prisoner too?" Subaru asked.
"I may be a prisoner but as a knight, I can't overlook such a serious crime." Before anyone could rebut this, the prisoner knight looked up to Felt. "Miss Felt, please stop this. What you're doing is very dangerous."
Felt glared at the knight. "Like hell I am! Just stay out of my business already!"
In the blink of an eye, Reinhard zipped up the wall and stood tall in front of Felt. The girl in question was still glaring at him.
"Please understand, what you're doing is a very serious crime. You'd be sentenced to 5 years at least."
The determined girl shook her head. "I don't care. I'm busting Subaru out of here whether you like it or not."
Reinhard suddenly bore a pained expression. "If you can't listen to reason, then I'm afraid I'll have to use force."
Reinhard grabbed Felt's wrist.
"H-Hey! Get your hands off of me!" She yelled.
Everyone else was panicking. They all didn't know what to do.
"Miss Felt, I hope you can forgive me."
"You…! You…!" Just then, Felt smirked. Her grin stretched across her whole face like a maniac. "YOU IDIOT!"
Suddenly, Reinhard's form shifted and morphed unnaturally. Reinhard wasn't there anymore. Instead, a fly was buzzing around where he once was.
Felt placed a hand over her face and laughed like a lunatic. "Yes! Finally! Now the sword saint will never cause this lovely lady issues anymore!"
Everyone looked dumbfounded at Felt.
"F-Felt…?" Subaru managed to ask.
"Oh, now that the sword saint is out of the picture. I don't have to pretend to be this whore anymore." After those words, Felt's body shifted around similarly to how Reinhard did and there was a girl who honestly looked identical to Felt standing in their place.
This new girl was about Felt's size. She had golden hair and crimson red eyes but she was practically in her underwear as she wore a very skimpy purple bra and black hot pants. Actually, Subaru wondered if those would even be considered hot pants from how tight they were. It honestly just looked like black panties over purple ones. The other noticeable difference was her hair style as well as purple and black pins in her hair.
"Who are you?! What did you do to Reinhard?!" Subaru finally demanded an explanation.
"I am the sin archbishop representing lust, Capella Emerada Lugnica. As for what I did to the sword saint, I used my authority to turn him into what he deserves to be, a fly!" Capella couldn't help but giggle again. She was all too delighted for finally getting rid of the strongest being in the world.
Beatrice widened her eyes. "Sin archbishop…?" The spirit turned to Subaru. "Subaru! We need to go now, in fact!"
Subaru flinched at Beatrice's sudden shouting. "Wait, weren't we trying to go?"
Beatrice pointed over to the building of the prison, specifically at the door leading back inside. "Go there! Betty will use her door crossing to get us out of here!"
Subaru had no idea what Beatrice was getting at but he knew that he couldn't deal with a sin archbishop. "A-Alright, I need to make sure Liliana is safe thou-"
Before he could finish his sentence, his voice was cut off as a strong grip coiled around his neck. Looking back, Capella had already reached the prison ground and had Subaru in the palm of her hand.
"Got you~"
"Subaru! You won't get away with this, in fact!" Beatrice began to prepare to use magic against the barely dressed girl but before she could do anything, she shoved Subaru into her.
"Careful, you wouldn't want to hurt Subaru, would you?~" Capella giggled as this was more than enough to stop the spirit.
In a set of swift motions, Capella transformed her free hand into a dragon-like claw and smashed the shackles that bound the boy with Beatrice. The golden haired girl then yeeted the still shocked spirit over the wall.
"B-Beatrice…!" Subaru managed to speak out. He was still locked in Capella's grasp so speaking was difficult.
"So you're the one that gave my child so much trouble. After learning you were locked up here, This lovely lady took it upon herself to come all the way here to punish you personally for getting in my way."
"I-I don't know what you're talking about…"
Capella leaned in closer. "You remember my child, Elsa, do you?"
Subaru widened his eyes.
"Teehee~ I'll take that look of yours as a yes. You caused me quite some trouble back then and I came here to get rid of you."
Subaru began to struggle. "Y-You don't have to do this…"
"Aww~ Don't worry, after seeing you in person, this lovely lady has changed her mind. Feel grateful your life will be spared."
"H-Huh?"
Capella licked her lips slowly as she suddenly pinned the boy to the ground and crawled on top of him. "After all, you're just my type~"

Subaru began to flail around but this little monster was pretty damn strong and kept the boy in place.
"From now on, you are going to be this lovely lady's lover."
"H-Hey! Get off of me! I-I already have a girlfriend!"
Capella lewdly licked up Subaru's cheek and snickered. "That doesn't matter. After this lovely lady brands you, everyone will know you belong to me~"
Subaru had a shocked look on his face as he struggled more frantically. But no matter how much he struggles, he couldn't get out of this crazy girl's grip.
"But first, let's make this new founded relationship of ours official~" Capella flexibly wrapped her legs around Subarus head and sat down on his neck. The insane girl smiled maniacally at Subaru.
Subaru had a bad feeling about this. He began screaming and calling for help now as Capella was about to have her way with him.
Beatrice and Liliana couldn't stop her. Reinhard was gone. The knights were off doing who knows what.
Subaru was about to be the sin archbishop of lust's lover.
As if Subaru's prayers for help had been answered, Capella miraculously levitated a few feet off of Subaru. Both the boy and Capella herself had a confused look on their faces when this happened. After exchanging their confused looks to one another, Capella was shot into the prison wall, making a huge hole in it.
Now that the wall was out of the way, both Beatrice and Liliana came inside the prison grounds and lunged themselves at Subaru. The two girls were crying relentlessly.
"B-Betty's sorry!" Beatrice cried out.
"Subaru, I-I'm so glad you're alright!" Liliana too cried out.
Suddenly swamped with affection from the girls he actually did care about, he wrapped his arms around the two. "It's fine you two, don't cry."
Liliana and Beatrice sniffled.
"I-I thought she was going to steal your first before I could…" Liliana boldly admitted.
The warm touching feeling instantly vanished from Subaru. "Seriously?! Was that all you were worried about?!"
"W-Well not all of it! But it was at the top of my worries!"
Before Subaru could scold his girlfriend, the rubble from the wall was pushed aside as a pissed off Capella got back to her feet.
"You ungrateful chunks of meat! You dare try to steal this lovely lady's property?!"
Liliana got in front of Subaru as if to shield him. "He's not your property! He's my boyfriend!"
Beatrice joined in as she started preparing magic. "And Subaru is Betty's contractor, in fact!"
"That's it!" Capella screamed out. "I'm killing both of you! No one can take my belongings and get away with-"
Capella's speech was interrupted as she was launched in the air like a rag doll. Within that same moment, the girl slammed into the ground at lightning speed, causing a crater to form where she crashed into.
Understandably, everyone was confused. Even Capella had a dumbfounded look from the bottom of the crater.
"What is going on?!" Subaru yelled out.
"I don't know, this isn't Betty's magic." Beatrice said, trying to figure out the cause of this sudden anomaly.
After recovering from the initial shock, Capella crawled out of the crater. Her rage increased by the second. "WHO THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?! DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHO YOU'RE DEALING WITH?! I AM THE SIN ARCHBISHOP OF-" Capella was silenced as a fly buzzed directly into her face.
Capella snapped. Fire burned in her eyes as she turned both of her hands into dragon claws and slammed them down into the fly. However, her hands were stopped in midair.
This time, Capella looked at the fly with a confused look. "What are you-"
Before she could finish, the fly hurled her in the air and began to repeatedly slam her into the ground like someone spinning a flail in circles. After a few slams, Capella was tossed into a different section of the wall.
Liliana pointed to the fly. "Wait, wasn't that Reinhard?!"
"Wait, really?!" Subaru asked.
Even as a fly, Reinhard was still an overpowered monster. This world really made no damn sense.
From the rubble where Capella was, a black dragon rose. "DODGE THIS, INSECT!!!" The dragon blew black fire directly at the fly, completely engulfing it.
The dragon turned its gaze to Subaru and the girls. "NOW FOR YOU!"
The dragon was about to breathe more fire but a blue light began to emit from where the fly was. The fly was perfectly fine and what looked like a strong blue aura emitted from the insect.
"GRRR!!! EVEN AS AN INSECT YOU'RE STILL CAUSING ME PROBLEMS!!! I'LL FINISH YOU ONCE AND FOR ALL!"
Thus the legendary battle ensued between the two. Capella, leader of the assassins organization and the sin archbishop of lust versus Reinhard, the fly.
The entire prison yard began to erupt all around as Capella was getting launched everywhere. Every prisoner was trying to run away in fear of getting squashed.
Luckily, Subaru and the girls managed to make their way out. The fact that the guards were still absent was some kind of miracle.
After finally escaping, the trio found a spot to catch their breath.
"How did this happen?" Subaru asked.
"I have no idea!" Liliana quickly answered. "I found Felt in Lugnica and she said that she'd help bust you out of prison with me. I had no idea she was a sin archbishop!"
Subaru shook his head. "No, Felt isn't a sin archbishop. That girl was only pretending to be her. Liliana, tell me everything that happened."
"Oh right! After you were arrested, I met with a knight who said that they could let you out! All I had to do was give him all of my money."

"You what?"
Liliana nodded excitedly. "Yeah! Then the knight said he'd meet me in the slums. I never saw him again but I found Felt. It was obvious the knight sent her because she recognized me and said that she could help bust you out! After that, we-"
"Wait, you're saying that you gave all your money to someone that claimed to be a knight and he told you to wait in the slums."
"Yep!"
"Lilly, how long were you waiting?"
"Hmm… I think about three weeks."
Yep, his girlfriend is stupid.
Subaru calmly walked to his girlfriend and began to grind his fists at the opposite sides of her head. "You got scammed, you idiot!!!"
"O-Owie! That hurts!"

Capella was currently catching her breath right after she managed to use her authority to change Reinhard back. For some reason, Reinhard was a lot harder to deal with as a fly and Capella came to terms with that fact.
"Hah… The rumors of you being a monster really are true, aren't they?"
"I have nothing to say to you, witch cultist."
Capella smirked. "Oh really? You seemed so eager to abduct me earlier. Lemme guess, you prefer the innocent types."
Despite her taunting, Reinhard was left unfazed. "What would your parents think of all the sins you've committed?"
The girl gritted her teeth. "Shut up you miserable chunk of meat! What about your sins?! This lovely lady already knows what you've done to be here so who are you to lecture such a divine being about being sinful?!"
The red haired knight shook his head. "I'm here to reconcile for the sins I've committed. You, on the other hand, are still running from your own."
"YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT ME!!!" Capella screamed. She wanted to really teach this knight a lesson but after getting her ass kicked by a fly, she was smart to know when to cut her losses.
Capella took a deep breath and quickly recomposed herself. "This lovely lady has much more important matters to attend to so why don't you act like a good little mutt and stay in your dog house."
After chuckling, the archbishop was just about to flee. However, before she could use her authority to change into something fitting for her escape, Reinhard suddenly appeared in front of her at lightning speed and grabbed her wrist similarly to how he did when he thought she was Felt.
"I'm afraid I can't have you leave. You must pay for every sin you have committed."
"You really are an idiot! This lovely lady was gracious enough to turn you back into your miserable form and you repay that kindness by using your disgusting filthy hands to tough my divine skin?! Let's see how you like it being a pile of sludge instead!"
Capella grinned maniacally as she used her authority to turn Reinhard into a blob of unrecognizable flesh.

Wait… Reinhard didn't transform.
Capella's eyes widened as she realized her authority wasn't working on Reinhard anymore. This was bad. She had to get out of here right now. Without a second thought, she used her authority to turn herself into a huge swarm of mice.

Why wasn't she turning? She thought. What happened to her authority?
Before Capella could come up with a conclusion to this abnormal phenomenon, Reinhard suddenly yanked the golden haired girl over his lap.
"What did you do to me?! Do you have any idea who you're messing with right now you idiotic chunk of- EEEP!"
Just then, Reinhard spanked Capella.
Capella had a look of disbelief on her face. "Did you seriously just spank me?! What do you possibly hope to gain by- EEEP!"
Again, Capella was spanked again.
Reinhard finally spoke out. "I'm doing this for your own good. You will be disciplined for every sin you've committed."
Capella blinked a few times. "What could you possibly know about me?! There's no way you would- EEEP!"
Capella yelped again as she was once again spanked.
This time, the underdressed girl began to flail around. Without her authority working, she felt as helpless as a child.
"S-Stop it! I command you to- EEEP!"
"Do you really think you can get away with- EEEP!"
"You are wasting your time right- EEEP!"
Reinhard was merciless. He was going to spank Capella for every sin she had committed like her parents should've done a long time ago.

"Alright, we've rested long enough. Let's get going."
Subaru declared after the group had more than enough time to collect themselves.
"Wait! We need to wait for Meili!" Liliana intervened.
Subaru lifted his brow. "Meili? Who is Meili?"
"Meili was the one to help distract the knights! We can't just abandon her!"
Subaru already had a bad feeling about this. Especially with the whole sin archbishop pretending to be Felt. "Lilly, How did you meet Meili?"
"Oh right! I haven't told you that part. After Felt and I got here, I ran into Felt's twin sister and she told me that her friend Meili could distract the guards. After that, we-"
"Felt's twin sister?"
Liliana nodded. "Yeah! I was surprised too but Felt was scouting the prison before they could reunite. Anyways, Felt's twin sister said that Meili and her will distract the guards while Felt and I helped busted you out!"
Subaru was smart enough to connect the dots. It was clear that Capella had the power to turn herself into whatever she wanted as well as other people so it was obvious she was behind all this. He didn't know nor care who this Meili was but based on what Liliana said, Felt should actually be here.
"Lilly, use your head for just one second. Did Felt tell you she had a twin sister?"
The clueless girl nodded. "Yep! We talked about it while we were climbing the wall."
"You mean the Felt that turned into the sin archbishop?"
"Yeah! I was surprised that Felt was actually the sin archbishop-" She stopped as the cogs in her head finally began to turn. "Oh… Oops."
Too exhausted to further discipline his idiot girlfriend, Subaru got up. "Cmon, let's go find Felt."
Beatrice happily followed along with no issue. Liliana also followed along but at a slower pace as she was still trying to wrap her head around the whole situation.
As the trio scanned the area and made it to the forest, they stopped and hid as they saw a large crowd of knights. By the looks of it, they were all marching away from the prison. Subaru wasn't sure why they were leaving but seeing how far they were, it made sense why none of the knights heard the prison yard getting demolished.
"You don't think that was because of the distraction you were talking about." Subaru asked.
Liliana shrugged. "I don't know. They just said they would make a distraction. I don't know anything other than that."
Subaru let out a sigh. For all he knew, Felt was in the center of all that. The boy then turned to his contracted spirit. "Hey Beatrice. Do you have an idea what we could do?"
The much smarter girl took a moment to contemplate the matter. "It would be safer to keep our distance for now. There is a chance that this Felt girl isn't even with those knights so running head first would be unwise, I suppose."
Subaru looked dumbfounded at Beatrice which caused the spirit to look very nervous. "I-Is that idea alright with you, I wonder? Betty thought that was the best course of action, I suppose."
The boy shook his head. "No, your plan is perfect. That was just perhaps the first logical idea I heard ever since I came to this world."
Liliana raised her hand. "That's not true! I told you a bunch of ideas before! Remember my plan to start street performances?"
Subaru squinted his eyes. "You mean the time when we got fined for disturbing the peace?"
"Yeah! That time!"
Subaru facepalmed at how proud she sounded about that. As much as he wanted to correct his girlfriend's stupid thought process right now, he had something else to focus on.
"Let's just tail the knights until we know for sure if Felt is with them or not."
The girls agreed. However, before they could start their recon mission, they were immediately stopped as some bushes beside them began rustling violently.
Understandably, the group had their guard up and Beatrice took the front. A black crystal formed in front of the spirit's hand as she prepared for an attack.
Finally, a very familiar golden haired girl with crimson eyes poked her head out from the bush. However, it wasn't Capella. This time it was the real Felt.

The girl that seemed to be Felt looked at everyone once she found the group. "There you are, big bro! What the hell took ya guys so long?!"
Subaru blinked a few times. He was a little confused why he was now being called 'big bro'. "Felt, that is you, right?"
"Of course it is! Didn't Liliana fill ya in yet?"
"Yeah… She technically did but Lilly isn't exactly considered to be a reliable source."
Surprisingly, Felt nodded. "Yeah, I had a feeling of that. Did you know that idiot was convinced a knight sent me to find her?"
Liliana frantically waved her hands. "Hey! They were very convincing!"
Completely disregarding her defense, Subaru continued with a smile, "Yeah, I gave her quite the lecture for that one."
Felt let out a chuckle. "That wasn't even the funniest thing she came up with. She was also convinced that you were her boyfriend."
Subaru's smile instantly vanished as he suddenly got cold feet. "Erm… Actually, that part is true."

The crimson eyed girl blinked a few times before glancing to Liliana and back to Subaru. "Seriously? I didn't think you had such a low bar, big bro."
"Hey!" Liliana shouted. "My boyfriend has amazing taste and we make an unstoppable duo! Right Subaru?"
"…"
"Um… Subaru?" Liliana tapped her boyfriend's shoulder.
Subaru had a weird look on his face. Yeah, he did love Liliana and all but hearing Felt's case on it, he couldn't help but wonder if she was right about him being easy.
Before anything else could be said on the matter, another head popped out from the bush. It was another young girl but this one had purple hair and green eyes.
Once the girl made her appearance, she looked around with a surprise look on her face. "Um… I wasn't expecting so many people."
Liliana was the first to speak up. "Meili! You're ok!"
"Wait, this is Meili?" Subaru followed up.
Felt nodded. "Yeah, this is Meili. She actually did all the work in the distraction. I was pretty impressed that she could carry her own weight like that."
Subaru cocked his head. "Really? What happened?"
Meili let out a sigh. "It's really not that impressive. I walked up to one of the knights by the prison gate and told them I was lost. They said that they'd be happy to bring me back home. The second I held his hand, every single knight in the prison went crazy and immediately arrested him. Then they started hauling him away after that."
"Wait, seriously?"
The purple haired girl nodded. "It's true! They didn't even ask me any questions! They just arrested the knight and left me alone there!"
Subaru was speechless. The knights completely abandoned the prison to arrest a single person because they were trying to bring a little girl back home. What is wrong with this country?
Felt shrugged after Meili's little story. "Hey, it worked out and we all made it out just fine."
"Oh yeah!" Liliana shouted as she suddenly inserted herself into the conversation. "It turns out your twin sister is a sin archbishop!"
Felt had the most confused look she could muster etched on her face. "Eh? What are ya talking about? I don't have a twin sister."
An irk appeared over Subaru's head before he went ballistic on his idiot girlfriend. "We went over this already! That wasn't Felt's twin sister! Her name was Capella and she was PRETENDING to be Felt's twin sister!"
Meili suddenly panicked. "W-Wait! What happened?!"
After letting out an exhausted sigh, Subaru caught Felt and Meili up on what happened.

"We have to go right now."
Everyone turned to Meili. After Subaru shared his story, she said that rather quickly.
"Yeah, that's what we're kinda doing right now." Subaru pointed out the obvious.
"No, you don't understand! We need to leave before mama catches up! Once she leaves the sword saint, she'll… s-she'll…" Meili began trembling as she no longer had the willpower to even finish her sentence.
Seeing the girl's panicked state, Subaru gently placed his hand on the young girl's back as he instinctively wanted to calm her down. "Don't worry, you don't have to say anything else. We'll get going right now."
"Please…" Meili softly spoke out. She needed to tell them. She already failed her mission that Capella assigned her. If Capella came back, Meili wasn't sure if she could survive her wrath. "Mama is very cunning and unforgiving… I know she'll escape the sword saint and when she does, I know she'll come for me…"

SMACK! SMACK! SMACK!
Capella had a dead look in her eyes, identical to how she left her pets after she broke them. Fresh tears slid down the archbishop's face as she limply laid over the sword saint's lap. She had been in this position for little over an hour and her resolve had long since vanished.
She was humiliated beyond anything she could imagine. She had no strength to get out of this nightmare. Most importantly, her butt had never hurt this much her entire life.
That wasn't even the worst part.
Capella was spanked thousands of times at this point and Reinhard wasn't even halfway done disciplining the spoiled girl.

Meili unloaded a lot on the group.
She revealed that she was an assassin working for Capella and she was supposed to use the distraction to kill Felt and the knights. The only reason she failed in that endeavor was because every single knight came at once and her plan went into shambles. Now that she failed, she was terrified to think what Capella was going to do to her.
"You were trying to kill me?!" Felt yelled out. She was pissed knowing that her life was apparently in danger this entire time.
Felt had a very different perspective on the whole situation. After meeting with Liliana and making it to the prison to scout it out, she encountered Meili already waiting with Liliana. Liliana explained that Meili was going to help be the distraction while she was going to break Subaru out by herself. At first, Felt was skeptical. After all, it didn't take a genius to deduce that Liliana was an airhead. However, she let it go after seeing how serious Liliana was.
After hearing everyone's stories, Felt could easily deduce that the serious Liliana was actually the sin archbishop and Meili was their lackey.
"That doesn't matter right now! We have to get away from here before it's too late." Meili reasoned. It was quite clear that she was dodging the question.
Felt wasn't having any of that. There was no way she was going to let an assassin join the group, especially if the said assassin was trying to kill them. "Do you think I'm stupid?! There's no way in hell we're gonna let you join us! Why shouldn't we just toss ya to that bitch to buy us some time instead?"
Meili widened her eyes. "N-No! Please! I'm not going to do anything, I promise!"
She was desperate. She was terrified of the very thought of what Capella would do to her. Normally, she wouldn't feel this cornered if she had her mabeasts available to her but for some reason, she lost control of them around the time the knights left. Either someone killed them all or someone else took control of them away from her.
Regardless, Meili didn't have anything to attack with or even defend herself.
"Why should I believe you?! I bet you were getting ready to stab my back when I found big bro!"
"It's alright, Felt. She didn't do anything and we're all here just fine now." Subaru said, finally intervening on the heated argument.
"Didn't you hear a damn word she said?! She was planning to kill me during the distraction!"
"Look at her! She's just a kid. If she was still planning to kill you, why would she tell us all of this?"
Felt grit her teeth. Subaru did have a point there but she still didn't feel right about this. Meili is a risk and who's to say she wouldn't just turn on everyone if the sin archbishop comes by?
However, this is the guy that saved her life.
Finally reaching a conclusion, Felt let out a sigh. "Fine. But you're taking responsibility for her, got it?"
Subaru nodded and gave Felt a thumbs up. "Got it! Oh, and thanks for helping me out, Felt."
The golden haired girl's cheeks warmed up after being thanked. "W-Well you helped me out so it's only natural to return the favor."
Subaru clapped his hands together. "Well that settles it! Let's get going now."
"Bringing along that assassin is an idiotic decision. But Betty will trust her Subaru." Beatrice added.
"I'm kinda lost. Why is Meili dangerous again?"
Everyone stopped and turned to Liliana with a dumbfounded look.
"Huh? Is something on my face?" Liliana began to rub her face.

The knights recently returned to the prison and were quick to put a stop to the horror that they saw.
As of now, Capella was wrapped in one of those survivor blankets. Her eyes were glossy and she was sniffing constantly. A knight was at her side continually reassuring the poor traumatized girl.
"Don't worry, you're safe now. He can't hurt you anymore."
Once the knights initially rescued the poor girl, she was sobbing and crying. It was only until Reinhard was out of her sight she began to finally calm down.
Despite all the reassurances, the damage has already been done. Capella's butt will never be the same again.
At the other side of the prison, a cat boy knight had just finished reciting Reinhard his rights. Afterwards, the cat knight gave the red haired prisoner knight a look of both disappointment and disgust.
"Reinhard, do you have anything you have to say for yourself? Are you even ashamed of yourself for kidnapping and assaulting little girls?"
As if being incapable of understanding the situation he was in, Reinhard shook his head. "I do not regret what I did, Felix. I just wish that I had more time to finish disciplining her."
Any kind of respect the knight known as Felix had for Reinhard vanished after these words. He let out a very disappointed sigh before starting, "Reinhard, come with me. You're going to stay in solitary confinement for a while."
