AN: This is a tribute to Jason David Frank and all those that worked on Power Rangers, that are no longer with us.
Another set of perfect clones found themselves in yet another universe as they had never expected, it was a vast universe which apparently was at the very start of it, and both Naruto and Sasuke looked at it wondering what was going on, till they found themselves in a rather strange world. Much to his continued discomfort and worry Sasuke the first thing Naruto did upon landing in that world was to spread Chakra of all types throughout the universe, making it another energy source that the very universe would cultivate and distribute through every part of itself.
To Sasuke, this was no better than turning another universe into an Otsutsuki farm that if they ever found out they exist they will come and reap all life from them. The mission given to all the clones was to go to a new universe and make life better for the people in the new universe, which is exactly what their old granny did and she later came to regret it, but Sasuke knew that no matter how many times he tried to explain to Naruto somethings simply don't enter into that thick skull of his.
"Sasuke besides you looking at the scenery of this place you got any idea what universe are we in?" First Sasuke was a little insulted, he wasn't looking for pretty-looking sights that could make wonderful landscape paintings, he was scouting, second while some of these plants may look nice, they are in an alien world, and any of these things could be toxic if not lethal, so there is absolutely no way he was going to touch them, so he actually had a dozen shadow clones to look around a rather large area.
The first thing that struck him as odd is that the people on this particular planet lived in fairly advanced homes with a pretty high level of technology, second, some had this blue skin tone, but the moment one saw a particular strange archway being built they all released and Sasuke couldn't believe the memory he got, "You are not going to believe this we are in the Comic version of the Power Ranger Universe, why? Cause I just saw a large group of men finish the construction of a master arch, which means we are in the time of the Morphin masters."
Naruto was still looking at a young woman wearing a rather revealing robe, when Sasuke told him, "Anything else that proves you are right, 'cause right now you are distracting me from my research in this universe." Sasuke was really angry when he mentioned that and the way he mentioned that, so he decided to put a stop to it, "Well if you don't count the fact that the Morphinaut and the Morphin masters are meeting in a small plaza over by that master arch as evidence what would you consider proof that I am correct, oh great and wise pervy sage."
Naruto was quick to mention that yes, he does appreciate the beauty of some women knowing how much effort and work it took them and takes them to maintain that beauty, but he first and foremost is a gentleman, to which Sasuke told him that him peeking at Hinata while she was practicing her water chakra control techniques while she was completely and utterly naked says otherwise.
To which he sneered at Sasuke, "Do you honestly think that with her eyes she couldn't tell I was there at all? She can see practically all around her even almost to the back of her own head for miles, with little effort, I still say that the only reason she was doing that was to get me to see her like that, and considering that I eventually married her and had kids with her, I say her plan actually worked."
Naruto decided to ask Sasuke how many children did he ever have with his wife, to which Sasuke looked at him as the kept walking towards the location of where the Master Arch was being built. "Depends if you consider that you ended married to the same woman who you called my wife, and the fact that I was never even asked to agree to the conception of my supposed daughter, my seed was taken from me when I was unconscious in the hospital, against my will, and I was used as a lab rat for an experimental artificial insemination technique. So drop it and focus on what we need to talk about with the people we are about to meet, and drop this topic already!"
Naruto laughed as they were getting closer and closer they must have been standing out since the clothes they were wearing were nothing like what the local people were in fact wearing, it was until they met the one that was known as the Morphinaut, that they both decided to be as brutally honest as possible since both of them could tell some people present will be able to look into their minds or be able to tell if a person is lying with a glance.
As they reached the nearly completed Master Arch they walked towards one of the Morphin Masters that they knew as the Morphinaut, and they quickly offered him a polite greeting, "Excuse me, we know that you and the other people present are going to discuss something immensely important but we have come from a vast distance to provide you with information that you may lack and to give you a warning."
The man who was the Morphinaut walked over to Naruto and asked him how far had they traveled to reach their current location, to which Naruto told him from another universe, and have knowledge from a different reality, this made some of the people laugh saying that Naruto was clearly afflicted with a mental illness, to which Naruto asked the man who first asked his question if they have comic books, movies, television shows, and video games in their world, a young woman smiled and said that of course they have such things and asked why would that matter?
Sasuke looked at her and he simply told them that some of the knowledge they have is from a reality where this very world and universe was seen in that reality as a game, a comic book, a television series, and movies. So they have a much broader understanding as to what will happen to them and their world, for instance, once they begin going to the Morphin grid, this will draw the attention of an immensely evil entity that they knew as Dark Specter.
"Why is this Dark Specter so dangerous to us? We are masters of the Morphin Grid, our culture and world have learned more about it than any culture in existence making us immensely powerful." Naruto looked at her and saw that this was the first Morphin master to die when the invasions by the minions of Dark Specter happen.
"My dear you might think that but you clearly have no idea how dangerous this entity is, the invasion of this and the other master arches will happen, it is not a matter of if but rather when, and for that, we will help you as much as possible to prepare appropriate measures to save as many people as possible."
A young man near him began to call him a coward, that he was focused on running away from this so-called invasion rather than standing up and defending their world against it, to which Naruto told them to bring to him their mightiest warrior, and he will show them why he is focused on the eventual evacuation of their world and of the worlds were the other Master Arches are going to be. The young man looked at him and said that he was strong enough to show him how strong they are, as he rushed to attack Naruto and pushed him hard but he didn't even move an inch.
"Is that the best you got? Dark Specter is a being of immense power, and horrible abilities, had you attacked that fiend with a punch like this, it wouldn't tickle him but instead, he could take over your body and use that to spread his evil influence to the entire population of this world, where he will watch with glee as he has them kill each other in cruel and heartless manner, I am not focused on giving up, I am focused on keeping as many people alive as possible, and that will take some times since it means redesigning the entire complex around Master Arch.
It was then that the Morphin Masters and Morphinaut knew that they were dead serious about what they were talking about and told them that the minute that the one they would call eventually the morphinaut went to the Morphin Grid using Master Arch that is when he will gain the attention of Dark Specter, so their time to get ready and prepare the mass evacuation is very much something they need to focus on, or many innocent people on all those worlds will die and those would be deaths that could and should have been avoidable.
In the coming months, Naruto and Sasuke worked day after day to prepare the defenses and evacuations means and procedures, they worked so hard that they caused several Morphin masters to take notice and earn their respect, these two had no obligation to do anything for them, this was not their universe and therefor not their responsibility but here they were working practically till they were both collapsing due to the fatigue and it was easy for them to see that they were doing this for their benefit while expecting little to nothing in return.
While working on it, Sasuke and Naruto sent three shadow clones to learn and make a copy of everything they could learn from in that world and in the other labs that would soon have their own Master Arches, they didn't do this because they wanted to steal that knowledge that took the Morphin masters and the people of those worlds generations to study, discover and master, they did it so that the knowledge would be preserved and if the evacuation plans went according to plan the people who survive this would eventually need this knowledge.
One of the Morphin Masters asked us what exactly are we doing to prepare for the inevitable invasion, to which Naruto told her that they are making it easy to place seals for key locations and strengthen defenses, as for the ground troop invaders even the flying invaders Sasuke told her that they had developed ways to deal with the corrupting energy that Dark Specter has that he used to take control of most of his troops, once purified these invaders would lose all interest in fighting and if they are even just criminals, they will run away rather than face a standing army.
The purifiers have several uses, some for long-range combat, some for close-range combat, but much to Naruto's plan they do not kill the target only purify them of any and all evil energy that is within the body. In other words, the purifiers treat evil energy as a disease and the purifiers treat and eliminate it.
Sasuke had to confess that initially, he wanted to eliminate the invaders completely and it was due to Naruto telling him that more than likely these invaders were being manipulated or even forced to do the bidding of Dark Specter by using his energy to control or corrupt them, Sasuke told them that had he been born on their planet he would have ignored Naruto's plan for a non-lethal option.
"I am many things, but forgiving is something I find difficult, should a man, woman, or beast dare to come into my home, and attempt to harm my family, my friends, and my neighbors, they had better be ready for a fight, and once the battle begins the prize they will pay for their actions shall be quite steep. I battle I know no mercy, I hear no pleas, and I take no prisoners. Naruto thought that was not a good idea, so we had to develop the purifiers."
One of the masters asked Sasuke why did he have such anger, hatred, and a cold-blooded mentality, which is ironic, since the person was the Water Morphin Master, and she was known to be quite a cold-hearted, logical pragmatic person. Sasuke didn't want to tell them this but it seems they needed to know why he developed this mindset,
"I was born in a loving family, my father, mother, and my older brother who I admired before I was even a teen, one day my older brother decided to lead an invasion of our family community, he cruelly butchered his best friend, killed his girlfriend that he had since they were little, and then killed both my father and mother right in front of me, after seeing this I spent years trying to avenge the deaths of my cousins and parents. After such an event how could I not become the man you see before you? The misery, pain, and bitter hatred I felt during those days I would wish it not on my worst enemy, so killing them in my opinion is the most merciful option, rather than having them live with the guilt and self-loathing for the rest of their lives."
One of them looked at Sasuke and couldn't help but to laugh a little, "You know we actually do have an anime called Naruko, and you fit the stereotype of an Uchiha to a fault, except in the anime it was shown that Sasuki Uchiha often lied about the death of his parents to make others believe it, and thus he managed to keep them safe, and since I watched that anime, he also later learns that his brother only attacked his parents and another person was responsible for the slaughter of his clan members, and Itachi only did that because he was forced to by a man who would kill his precious little brother."
Sasuke looked at her and couldn't believe they have that anime in this universe, "Sure, Itachi showed his love towards me, he tortured me using Tsukuyomi where I was strapped to a metal cross with bard wire, and he had dozens of copies of himself come out of the ground and stab me repeatedly killing me only to revive me and have me go through that every ten seconds for five hours. You will excuse me if I at some point stopped believing that Itachi ever cared about me."
Sasuke could almost feel like this woman was in fact the reincarnation of Itachi for a second, the way she talks and makes comments made him feel like this was Itachi pulling off a Sexy Jutsu, except Itachi doesn't know that accursed technique, Naruto had only taught that forbidden technique to one unfortunate soul, who then made the mistake of teaching it to his Genin Squad but aside from those four kids, Naruto was the only one that ever truly mastered it.
"Or maybe your brother wanted for you to be stronger, they say that that which does not kill only makes a person stronger." Sasuke quickly looked at her and glared, and told him they had more important things to focus on other than his heartless brother, and more Nische philosophy, Dark Specter and Master Vile are not going to wait for them to engage the philosophy and ideas of an amateur psychologist. "You wound me, little brother, even after I saved you from being potentially possessed and influenced by that snake bastard, but if you want to focus on the defense of the master arches and saving people, fine let's go, I will help you with that, and we can discuss why you still have this much hatred for me even in this new life of mine."
As soon as he was back in the lab that the other Morphin Masters assigned to him, he immediately made twenty shadow clones and they all began to work on improving and streamlining the process o building the purifiers. The main idea for how to power these weapons was in fact the Z Wave that was released when Zordon sacrificed his life in the television show, the thing about the creation of all things, is that the only limit it has is the imagination of the person who used that technique. So he had to find a way to basically contain the power of pure good and allow this container to always have enough of it inside for each attack.
Seals would be the most obvious answer but that is something that Naruto would have to take care of because unlike Naruto he wasn't as proficient with seals as he was, being a blasted Uzumaki does have benefits that an Uchiha would never have, or should have, to think that Boruto ended up getting married to the daughter Sakura. Sasuke upon remembering it thought that Indra should have been rolling in his grave but then again he was the reincarnation of Indra so that was not likely to happen.
"So the purifiers will be the main weapon to use against this coming invasion, don't you think that is a little bit too little considering the massive threat this is to the worlds where the Master Arches are. How much could these weapons do if they attack in large numbers?"
Sasuke looked at her and he simply decided to continue his work as he answered her, "Once these weapons are complete it will not matter how many minions Dark Specter sends, these weapons affect them by simply being near them, two or three are powerful enough to deal with a group of minions that are equal to a small city, the only problem I am having right now is to mass produce them to send them to the other planets, which is why my copies are working with me to perfect the production method."
She laughed once again and asked Sasuke how long till they had enough weapons and had them distributed to the other planets, but in all reality these weapons would at best be buying them enough time for them to complete the evacuations of the people, no matter how powerful these weapons are sadly evil always finds a way.
She apparently began to do the same thing he was and started to help him, which for once was appreciated, "The only question I have is why are you doing this for us? We are near to nothing to you, you don't owe us anything, and we are certainly not even your responsibility, we were about to send one of our own into that Master Arch to explore the Morphin Grid without even realizing the potential danger."
She saw Sasuke continue to work and write things down on the schematics of the purifier weapon he was working on.
"Originally we came into existence as clones, as another variation of the shadow clones you see working with me, our creators made millions of perfect clones, no different than any normal person, with all their abilities, strengths, weaknesses, and knowledge, in fact, we share everything we learn between all the clones and our creators. In some words, we aren't even considered human because we were not born. The one mission that they gave to all the clones however is to go to new universes, explore and learn from them and try to make life better for the people in that universe."
He looked at her and smiled, "So initially that is what we wanted to do, to learn and help the universes that we travel to, except something happened, the memories and knowledge that the other clones began to accumulate and we found out that in some universes our fellow clones, were in fact treated as people, they fell in love, married and lived happy lives, some even had children and grandchildren. So every clone also wants now to help the universe we enter now not only because we can form a life for ourselves here, but as a way to show our gratitude for the knowledge we gain and the chance of maybe finding joy, love, and even hope."
"So to say that we don't owe you anything, that can be both true and wrong because, at the end of the day, we already learned many things from what we read in your libraries, we learned many things studying your technology and trying to preserve this knowledge for the people who will evacuate and be able to use it to survive. So trust me, I have a personal interest in saving as many of your people as possible."
As the final schematics of the purifiers were done and hundreds if not thousands of these weapons were built, many of various forms, sizes, and uses, they both could finally relax and she immediately asked him if he was hungry, to which Sasuke asked her why would she ask? She laughed as a growl was heard from her body, and she said it because she is hungry and she was asking so they can continue while having something to eat.
"If it is not too much of a problem, yes, I would love to taste some of your cuisines. But the real question is what should I call you, I don't believe we were introduced you know my name is Sasuke but what is yours?" She laughed and said that her name was Aleia. Sasuke quickly said that he would be happy to enjoy a meal with her only if she lets him help prepare it, to which she laughed and said that nobody cooks in their culture the machines take care of all that, so relax, the chances of him suffering because of horrible cooking or food poisoning are astronomically low.
As they made it to one of the major dinners in the city where they landed, she asked him questions about his world and about how his people lived, he, of course, asked her the same, so after a few hours of talking with each other they finally came to an understanding, their levels of technology may be different but somehow the way he describes how the people of Konoha lived their lives reminded her of how their culture was, which made her feel a lot less nervous and worried about what Sasuke or Naruto would do to their worlds.
Naruto was making great progress on the seals, he already sends five shadow clones to engrave them in the necessary places on the other worlds with Master Arches, the planets would have an early warning if any of the invaders were either headed their way or they teleported to the world, allowing the people enough time to evacuate. The purifiers were sent to the guards and the turrets were installed, the turrets, however, were rigged as if any of the invaders actually touched it, that particular turret would explode sending a massive way of energy purifying any invader within fifty miles of the turret.
It was a safety mechanism in case Dark Specter decided to grab the tech from the turrets and decide to turn them into something that would allow him to enslave people on mass, basically turning the purifiers into the corruptors. The people actually found out about it and were so grateful that they asked the Morphin Masters that Naruto and Sasuke should also be named Morphin Masters since they showed a level of expertise and skill in working with their technology equal to being one.
They of course agreed with the people of these worlds and Naruto and Sasuke would be given the title, the Morphinaut wanted to begin his exploration of the Morphin Grid but when he tried using Master Arch he was met by Naruto and Sasuke, who tried to warn him of the danger of being corrupted by Dark Specter to which he told them both that he would take every precaution and that he was not going to take needless risks, going as far as to calling the worrywarts since he was not exactly a so weak that he couldn't defend himself.
That is when Naruto told him that when it comes to beings like Dark Specter he was severely underestimating him, he was not the one that leads all evil in their universe for nothing, but Sasuke reminded Naruto that they did have the purifiers and should the Morphinaut return corrupted, it could easily be dealt with with a single blast of one of the purifiers so there was not going to be many problems there.
The main problem would be if meeting Dark Specter caused him to quicken his plans of invasion. To Sasuke, it seems like the man was no better than a teenager wanting to use a new toy without realizing that his doing that could be not only potentially dangerous but lethal.
