Day #10: Presents

A huge stack of presents, glowing bright red and green under the Christmas tree's lights and baubles, greeted the children as they arrived at their grandparents' house for their yearly holiday gathering.

Lana opened up her present from Pop-Pop and Gran-Gran.

A pile of mud! Just what she'd always wanted!

She opened up her present from Aunt Ruth.

More mud! Wow, this was the best day ever!

As her siblings received shiny new toys, soft pajamas, and fancy comic books, Lana was content to just squish her mud in peace.

She was lucky her family knew her so dang well.
