Chapter 2: Heroes and Villains

I stared into an alleyway and noticed a silhouette staring at me. It is big and looks like a man I know all too well, it is my brother staring right back at me; he is wearing his hat. The same hat he wore when he died. I look at him and slowly cry. He noticed me sobbing, he does want to see me…As much as I want to see him.

This moment is going to be savored as much as it can. I look at him and smile, "Tadashi? Is it…you?" I asked. "Of course it is, Hiro…Who else would it be?" I suddenly remembered the contact lenses. That still traumatized me, so I looked at him.

It is really him.

"What are you doing here? You're supposed to be dead."

"I escaped the night of the fire, and I managed to come here."

"Aunt Cass will be so happy-"

"I can't go home."

"Why?"

"Because…I'm supposed to be dead."

"Tadashi, you are not dead. Stop dwelling on yourself, you are a good man. And you can come home."

"Fine."

I lead Tadashi to the Lucky Cat, he was looking around as was not shocked as he was walking back home; tears went into his eyes as he looked around. I was worried about the team, I did not want to tell them what happened…They would never believe me.

As I get to the Lucky Cat, I ask him to wait at the table while I get Aunt Cass, as soon as she sees him. She stops. Tears start to go into her eyes as she hugs him. Tadashi is blushing as she is hugging him.

"OH MY GOSH! HOW DID YOU GET HERE!?" She asked while crying, "I found him." I said as I came into view.

"Hiro. You found him? How?"

"I was walking around, and I found him. He is safe and healthy."

"Just to make sure it is him. We will take him to the doctor."

"That's fine."

I am about as excited to see him as Aunt Cass is. I do not cry though, I make sure he is okay with all this excitement. I do not want to tell the team about this—again they are not going to believe me. Something about this seems unreal.

As I look outside, I see snow. First my brother is back alive, and now, it is snowing…We take Tadashi to the hospital.

Him and I are dancing and singing to the songs on the radio, I look at him and sleep on his shoulder. He blushes again as I sleep with him. We make it to the hospital, Aunt Cass takes him to the waiting room with me.

I play video games on my phone with him. He is smiling and watching me, I do not want to say goodbye to him….ever… again.

"Hiro, how is school?"

"Good. Professor Grainville wants me to do an assignment for her."

"Ooh, what is it?"

"It's something crazy."

"Can you tell me?"

"No."

"Okay then."

The doctor comes back, and calls his name, "Tadashi Hamada." Hearing his name is making me want to cry. I do not know why.

We followed the doctor into a check-up-room. Aunt Cass is still in tears as she is looking at my brother, he is alive. The doctor confirms that, and he says that he healed on his own. Aunt Cass looks at him, and smiles really hard.

She is almost breaking her jaw, I look at him and hug him. Something about this still feels unreal, I did not know what to do.

My anxiety kept on screaming as Aunt Cass was hugging him, I looked at him and smiled… "Welcome home, brother."

"You too, Hiro."

Meanwhile with the other team members, they are still struggling to stay low. Even though Momokase has them. They still cannot fight crime as much as they try, anyone would find them.

Even the police.

"We need Hiro, where is he?" GoGo asked.

"I saw him go to the alleyway."

"Oh, is he still there?"

"No."

"Where is he?"

Honey Lemon received a shocking text, one that she was not expecting…never…in a million years.

Hiro: Hey guys, sorry I ditched you. I found someone special. You will not believe who I found…Tadashi.

"No way! How did he do it?"

"I don't know."

"Should we visit Hiro?"

"Yes, I think so."

They all went to the Lucky Cat. They were excited to see Tadashi, and they were excited to see their best friend again.

When they saw their late best friend, tears started to come down their eyes. I did not expect everyone to start crying.

"Hiro? How did you find him?"

"I saw him in an alleyway."

"Seriously?"

"Yes."

"Are you sure it is really him?"

"I know how to see if he is real…Speak."

"Hello."

"It is you."

"Yup."

I wrap my arm around my brother, half crying and half sobbing. I look at him and smile. "Don't you ever, leave me again."

"Promise."
