11. GOD SAVE THE QUEEN

Later that day, as soon as I was left alone for a while, I sneaked out to find a quiet, solitary place where I could turn back into human and reach for my magic mirror and use it once again. I needed to make sure that Loo-nah's mother was alright.
'' Mirror, mirror in my hand, Show me Queen Loo-mi-nah, I command''.
The view I was provided with, left me sorrowful and heartbroken. Loo-nah's mom looked just horrible. She was sitting on a tiny, half-rotten bench, inside a small, dark and dank dungeon.
- Oh fuck. - I commented unconciously.
The queen of Formika obviously was starving, mourning, becoming her own shadow. And then she raised her head, took a look directly on the ceiling and did something I'd have never expected her to do. She started to sing. That was something extraordinary, divine by its nature. Her song was not articulate, more siren-like. Nonetheless, I could have sworn that by listening this I heard Celine Dion's ''Mother's Prayer''. Somehow, I was able to participate in her feelings, expressed by her through singing. That almost made me cry. There was only one thing I could do - encourage Dib to free Queen Loo-mi-nah the same way he had freed Vortian Prisoner 777. But first I needed to get to him unseen and then give him further instructions.
- Alright! I order a break for beer! - I said to myself before putting two cans of beer out of my magical repository. There is no drink like fresh, ice-cold beer! I was drinking and waiting til I was given an opportunity to talk to Dib in private. Without any procrastination, I teleported myself to tell him what I to tell. I convinced him very easily to do it as fast as possible. Needless to say, how surprised yet happy the Queen was, suddenly taken out of dungeon and brang to her sweet little girl. I swear it all happened so quickly I barely managed to enjoy another moment of family reunion. I'm not gonna lie - I am a very impulsive and impatient kind of person. I usually want things done swiftly so I can finally have some fun, with no duties, no worries and no stress to bother me. This time was no different. I mean, I've had few plans about what I'd do after I make a hero out of Dib. What I wanted was to find a nice, empty, lifeless planet, claim it as mine and remold it into something more appropriate to my taste. Anyhow - back to the story - seeing Loo-nah and her mom together again was of no less touching than seeing 777 and his children reunite. I observed them as I was sitting next to Loo-Loo and pretending to be a regular stuffed toy. When I realized that everyone was paying attention either to Queen Loo-mi-nah or to Dib, I took the opportunity to sneak out again. It isn't hard to guess what I was up to. I ended up in the attic, back in my human form, drinking beer and watching anime. I tend to say sometimes: '' A fox may have their fur changed, but they'll never have their habits changed at all''. In other words: Old habits die hard. One beer, two beers, three beers, four beers... I got boozed up before I even noticed.
- That's right! Let Dib fully enjoy his growing fame and I will stay here to restore some nice memories and cry over them for their never coming back again. All thise beautiful moments belong to the past now, but I swear by my precious little treasures, I'll never ever let them vanish. For I am Solitaire, the Toy Witch!
Right after speaking out these words, I stopped dancing and fell down on the floor, ready to drift away for an hour or two, like I've been doing almost every day. But few moments later I've been woke up by gentle yet disturbing sounds coming from the roof.
- What the - ?
I stood up, realeased my wings and tail, approached a medium-sized, circular window to open it and flew out through it. I landed on the roof and looked around. Not a living soul.
- That's strange. - I whispered to myself.
I decided to summon few of my toy familiars and send them to look all around the mansion's surroundings. I could see and hear everything through their senses. ''Trees, trees, trees, trees, a herd of deers, trees, trees, tress, a flower-covered bush, trees, trees, trees, trees, a giant spider, trees, trees...WAIT! COME BACK! A GIANT SPIDER!? OH MY TEDDY!?''
I commanded my toys to surround him. As soon as they've changed their forms and became their monster selves, the spider creature got really, really frightened. He tried to escape, but there was no way out for him. Then he fell down on the ground, stuck on typical, defenseless victim position and ... began to cry.
- What the fuck...?
One of my toys nudged the spider thing with their forehead. The creature sobbed: - Wha - what... what so you want? Leave me alone! Please... don't hurt me!''
- What the fuckin' fuck?
I couldn't believe my very own eyes and ears. I'd never expect such a big, creepy spider monster to be such a , he could talk. It's not like I am arachnophobic or something. I've never been afraid of harmless spider species. I actually like them for their feeding on flies, mosquitoes and some other insect pests. But a spider this big can not be considered to be harmless at all. Especially by horror fans like me. It turned out that I've judged a book by its cover.
'' I think I would like to have a little conversation with him'' - I thought before teleportation.
As a respond to my arrival, his fight increased even more.
- Oh no... A Witch... - he squealed and cowered.
- Hey! Who are you? And how do you know that I am a Witch?
