16. THE SHOW MUST GO ON

- What the heck are they doing here? - I asked rhetorically.
It's not like I didn't want the Resisty in there. I just was astonished by seeing them on Earth, nearby the mansion as well. I thought they'd be somewhere far, far away, busy planning another sabotage against the Irken Empire. I've decided to eavesdrop on them for a little while. It turned out their presence in that area was a pure accident. They never intended to land on Earth. And then, as they were really close to the third planet from the Sun, their spaceship started malfunctioning somehow ( don't ask me about details, all this technology talk stupifies me), so they were forced to land as soon as they could. It didn't take a genius to guess who was responsible for bringing them to the wrong place. The same goofy alien captain Lard Nar tends to listen to and ends up regretting it. Spleenk himself.
- Right. I should have known. - I said to myself.
I was wondering how long they've been there so far.
'' I should make sure they find their way to the mansion '' - I thought. - '' But how?''
I was observing Resisty's emcampment, thinking of how to get them to Dib and the others in the process.
- Damn, damn, damn! What should I do? What should I do? Huh? Hold up for a second!
My plushie moved few inches on left so I could see bushes in front of her. - What are those glowing red eyes over there? - I said.
There were about twelve pairs of tiny, blood-colored dots, glowing merely among pitch-black darkness of the night. I had no idea what those creatures were doing there, but I was absolutely certain they were not friendly. This time it was something completely different than Grief. Those creatures were standing in one point and watching aliens from the Resisty. More or less than half an hour later, Lard Nar and his subordinates turned off the lights, ready to fall asleep in their tents. And that was the time for the monsters to come out and attack. They emerged from bushes and stopped. They were humanoids, walking both on feet and hands, hairless, grey-skinned, unnaturally thin, with razor-sharp teeth and big, black eyes. Ghouls? Chupacabras? Rake's offspring? I had no idea. Nonetheless, those beasts didn't seem to care what they were. Hunting, slaughtering and devouring any living being on their way was everything they thought about. And now they were after the Resisties. I used my power to change Paula so she could repel the monsters. She grew big and terrifying to attack immediately. My sweet, sweet bee flew high in the air and charged on them, accelerating her flight. She opened her mouth wide before she reached the creatures and clenched shark-like teeth on them all in one go. Paula kept flying forward, then turned around and shrank back to her normal size. Hidden on a tree, high above the camp, my little treasure let me see group of aliens who left their tents and looked around in search for a ''strange sound''. A couple of seconds later their light revealed many dark, bloody stains on the ground, along with parts of bodies of the monsters. Can you imagine how ridiculous their reaction was? They all freaked out in almost identical way it was shown in ''Backseat Drivers From Beyond The Stars'', at least twice.
'' I'm curious what they'll do now.'' - I thought.
Luckily, they haven't chosen to run into depth of the forest. Instead of that, aliens from the Resisty headed directly to Dib's mansion, as if they knew the only reasonable direction to take in such severe situation. I ordered one of my Barbie dolls to open the door for the Resisty while I teleported myself to Dib's sleeping room to wake him up. I approached him, shook him arm with my hand and said: - Hey! Wakey-wakey! Hurry! - Huh? Whuh- whuhsup? - Dib yawned and looked at me with his eyes half-closed.
- We have unexpected guests.
- Wha- what guests?
- The Resisty.
- Seriously, What kind of name is it?
- I dunno. A stupid kind of name, I guess.
- Anyhow, who are those guys?
- They are alien resistance group, formed to fight against the Irken Empire.
- Judging by the name, they must be very bad at this.
- Pretty much. Now hurry up! They've already been let in by my dolls.
Dib stood up, left the room, walked through corridor and went downstairs to the front hall. There, surrounded by my Barbie dolls in maid clothes, were standing all the extraterrestrial dudes of the Resisty. I was watching and listening them through eyes and ears of one of artificial maids.
- Who are you? What are you doing in my mansion? - asked Dib. Lard Nar took few steps closer to the boy and said:
- Please excuse us. We didn't mean to bother you, but we need help.
- What is it?
- Our spaceship got a sudden failure so we've been forced to crashland nearby your house. - explained Lard Nar. - We were planning to get some sleep before attempt to fix our vehicle, but...
- What?
- We heard strange, loud sound. As soon as we left our tents to check what that was, we only found puddles of blood and mauled parts of bodies of unidentified creatures.
- Oh, I see. This forest is full of dangerous, bloodthirsty monsters. Most of them come out to hunt after dusk.
- Why do you live in a place like this?
- My family prefer life in the bosom of nature over crowd, noises and pollution of a big city. Don't worry. We've been living here since forever. We know exactly how to defend ourselves in case of a monster attack.
- Oh. So... where are your parents now?
- They both are on delegation. They won't be back for a very, very long time. I am the one in charge during their absence at home.
- Well, well, well. - I mumbled with satisfaction. - Dib is a better liar than I thought. Who knows, maybe my plan is not gonna collaps after all.
The boy offered them shelter, accommodation and something to eat when it's breakfast time. The aliens were more than willing to accept his hospitality.

A quarter later I found myself in the forest, not very far from the mansion. My stuffed bee, Paula, was there with me. I changed her back to her monster form. She opened her mouth, unveiling gallons of horrible, stenchy soup made of blood and corpses of the monsters. As next, I took off all my clothes, hung them on a branch of tree, came up to Paula's lower jaw and entered her mouth. I slowly got my body submerged in sticky mixture of gore and remains. It felt so good. So fuckin' good! Especially with small, colorful lights provided by my Glimmies to make my relax even more pleasant.I slowly got my body submerged in sticky mixture of gore and remains. It felt so good. So fuckin' good! Especially with small, colorful lights provided by my Glimmies to make my relax even more pleasant. Don't get me wrong. It's not some sort of perversion. The thing is - everytime I'd had blood of my victims on my skin, I could feel my physical strenght and my magical power getting stronger. If I could compare my might to beings (whether real or fictional ones), my initial power would be a grizzly bear. And at the moment of my bloody bath inside Paula's mouth, I was nothing less than Godzilla. I'm not kidding. I knew I was able to become a giant, fearsome, invincible monster if I only wanted or needed to.
