A/N: Hello everyone! I hope you're all well. So, yep, once again, I got an idea and with Inside Out 2 announced, I immediately made it, should I ask for help? Anyways, this is based on the deleted scenes from the original version of Inside Out, no, this is not the EXACT version. Please also let me know if I made any mistakes and as for my upcoming FanFics, they WILL come out so don't worry since I don't like to rush. I'll like to think this takes place about... let's say three months after the movie...
The sun rised up from the city of San Francisco, and is it does, we land in a familiar looking old house, as that is happening we hear a familiar emotion.
"I'm Joy, nice to see you again, although, I don't know why... is there something happening that'll lead to another adventure? Dunno... anyways, we can talk later, for now, i'm really, really busy as you can see."
We zoom in into a bedroom where Riley is currently playing with her toys.
"Help! Mr. Carrots," cried a brown plush teddy bear named Griz to a yellow stuffed rabbit. "we can't keep the zombies outside for long!"
Riley then grabed the rabbit, and in her mind, Joy was having a blast being 'busy'.
Using the new console, Joy kept having a blast.
"Then let the rest of the souldiers out!" She cried, at the same time making Riley speak.
"It's the only chance we got." The twelve year old insisted.
Someone suddenly knocked at her door, then opened it, it was her mother, looking quite frustrated much to Riley's and Joy's shock and confusion.
"Riley, I told you to dress up ten minutes ago!"
Joy scoffed, clearly frustrated herself for an interruption not as important as being in the middle of a zombie invasion.
"We are dressed." She insisted, pointing to her dress.
Riley pointed to her pijamas.
Her mother rolled her eyes and got an uncomfortable looking pair of skinny jeans and a tight looking shirt, at least in girl's option.
"Just hurry up, and then come down to breakfast."
Oh well...
Breakfast wasn't like pleasant as the play interruption was either for Joy since they were having green beans for breakfast today.
The other emotions were looking as disgusted as Joy herself was.
"Yep, I just lost faith in humanity." Disgust said.
Joy brightened up. "Oh! Do you guys remember Mr. Mustache?" She laughed, remembering that whenever they got green beans, they would make Riley put the smashed glob from it and form a mustache, making her parents laugh at such silliness.
But this time, in stead of the usual laughs, her mother sighed. "Riley!" The girl looked up in surprise. "I just washed that." Riley then looked down and noticed more than have of the bean's glob was in her shirt.
Joy blinked. "I don't get it. Mom and Dad always laughed at this."
"Hey guys," Disgust said, "what's brown, green, and is a waste of time?"
The emotions groaned.
"School..."
When they arrived to priso-school, it was still quite early.
Joy sighed, preparing for the boredom yet to come, but smiled contently. "Let's do this!"
As they entered the school gates, Fear marked the calendar, and noticed that Riley's birthday will be in a couple of weeks, much to his excitement.
As Riley made her way, however, she couldn't help but stop as two other girls who's eyes ruled nothingless stared at her.
"Oh, potential friends spotted." Anger suddenly said.
Joy scoffed. It was obvious those girl's interests weren't as fun as Riley's.
"Not this again..." She murmured. Ever since Riley's breakdown at school, her girl has become quite famous around.
"Maybe we should go talk to them." Fear suggested. "Riley's been on school for over three months and she hasn't made a single friend."
"What about Mr. Carrots and Bing Bong?"
"Bing Bong's... and Mr. Carrots is just a toy."
For a moment, Joy couldn't help but feel a bit... strange at Bing Bong's mention, even if he was here, would Riley want to play with him?
Of course, she told herself.
"Can does girls travel different worlds?" Joy said to Fear. "Because Mr. Carrots can."
Her gaze fell upon a familiar looking playground by the side of the school, and at once she gasped excitedly.
"Look! They repainted the monkey bars!"
"Ooooh." Fear said.
"Awesome." said Sadness.
"Nice." Grinned Anger.
"I don't know if we'll have time for that though." Disgust said to Joy.
"No time for monkey bars? I think those Green Beans sure did you something."
She pressed a button. "Now let's go have fun!"
Riley made her way towards the other girls.
Joy's eyes widened and her mouth slightly opened with shock.
The other emotions panicked.
"What's she doing?"
"Did you pressed the wrong button?"
"Something's the opposite of right here."
Joy headed towards the side of the console and opened a tiny door where cables where. "Something must be broken here..."
Meanwhile, the other emotions grew more nervous by the minute as they got closer and closer to the other girls.
"What do we do? What do we say? What do we do?!" Fear panicked.
Sadness thought for a moment before heading back to the console. "Let's say something cool, mature, and totally awesome."
She pressed a button.
"Hey." Riley said.
"Hey." The the two girls greeted, still expressionless.
"Good one Sadness." Disgust said.
Joy looked up from where she was. "Wait, it's working now?"
She rushed to the front, wondering what she missed.
"You're in our science class right?" One of the girls, a black-haired one, asked dryly.
Riley gave a single nod, trying to act it cool.
"What do you think about Mr. Bender?" The other girl, who had blonde hair shorter than the other one, spoke out.
"Ugh..." Sadness said uneasy.
"What should we say?"
"These girls are really testing us." Sadness commented, then pressed another button.
"Mutual response."
"He's okay." Riley said after a moment of thought.
"Yeah... he's okay." The black-haired girl said cooly.
"Well, we just dodged a bullet there."
"What kind of conversation is this?" Joy said dismayed.
The bell to get to class rang.
The two girls smiled and made their way.
"Class is starting, better clime those bars quick." Joy said, pressing the commanding button.
Riley stared back at the playground.
"What are you looking at?" The blonde girl asked.
"Riley turned back at them with a smile.
"Nothing." She said as she made her way inside.
Joy stared stunned while Disgust and Fear shared uneasy glances.
After a eternity later, school finally ended and everyone got ready to go home.
Riley, the black-haired girl who's name was Bethany and Sarah, the blonde one, laughed as they exited the school's front doors and made their way into the stairs.
Bethany giggled. "Remember when Ms. Egan dropped the chalk?"
Sarah laughed loudly. "That was the funniest thing ever." She said with a confident smirk.
"Even funnier than cartoons?" Joy challenged.
The other emotions sushed her so she made her way miserably to a couch that was near and crossed her arms as the boringness yet continued.
Riley laughed in a nervous way. "Yeah, that was the funniest thing ever."
Joy groaned and stood backwards in the couch. "You guys know that we can be hanging by our legs right now?"
Bethany smiled. "I'm having a party Saturday, wanna come?"
Joy's eyes windened and she immediately stood up. "A party?" She rushed to the console.
"Alright, this goat's finally screaming. Let's get more info: How many ballons are going to be there? What's the piƱata situation?"
"We'll probably just order pizza and listen to music or something." Bethany added.
Joy's teeth gritted, why was everything suddenly out of the blue? Whatever that meant.
"Ugh, fail. No way we're going to that."
"Joy..."
Her thoughts turned to words.
"We should spit in that girl's face..."
"Joy!"
"Music and pizza isn't a party. It isn't even a playdate."
She pressed a button again. "We're not going and that's final."
"I'll be there, thanks." Riley said excitedly.
Joy gasped, and she didn't know how she began to walk away with half her senses with worries.
"Wow."
"Okay."
"This is good."
Meanwhile, the other emotions couldn't help but feel excited, it was about time Riley had someone else besides Mom and Dad and Meg.
"Hey, you wanna go to the mall?" Bethany suddenly said.
Sadness looked back at Joy with worry before pressing the button to agree.
As they went, Joy stared longingly at some kids playing with water ballons in the field.
A/N: This story WILL continue, I just have A LOT going on with my own school, please stand by while this new adventure continues.
