While I'm not entirely sure when the humans are going to injure BreakDown.

I do think I can rely on the amount of dread coursing through me, that seems to happen when bad things have happened..

I lead BulkHead to the rogue human base.

"This isn't some kinda trap is it?" BulkHead asks moving so his weapon is ever so slightly closer.

How would I have even set this up as a trap?

Do I really seem then kind to associate myself with humans? "No, stop asking dumb questions.."

We need to hurry.

"What's your problem recently? It's like your processor got switched or something"

Yes..or something is quite accurate.

"It is none of your concern." I make my way towards the human base not allowing the wrecker to retort.

"Are we gonna break the door or?-" I raise a hand to signal silence, I can hear Silas..and his machine...

I rip open the door.

Silas's shocked expression is one I'll be sure to cherish, he screams for the scientist's in the room to shoot.

How good are human scientists..?

BreakDown looks rather pitiable strapped to a table, Silas had made a run for it before me or BulkHead could get too close, it seems humans aren't all that bad at taking advantage of their size.

"What are you and BulkHead doing here?"

I ignore the question in favor of checking him for any real human made injuries, besides the dents from him and BulkHead's fight and a small scratch to his face he's fine. KnockOut'll be glad.

"Woah Woah, mind answerin' my questions before you go gettin' that close to me?" I hadn't realized I might as well have been on top of him.

I back away "Ah..you were kidnapped by humans. Megatron deemed it a situation that you were at fault of..and so not fitting to send backup"

BulkHead and BreakDown make a similarly unhappy face.

"I might as well make use of the Autobot who caused you to be in a kidnap-able position"

"What!?" BulkHead screams.

Neither wrecker fails to notice my flinch at the volume..Where was this perception when they were about to be ambushed??

"I'm not sure what you two would prefer but I'd rather not stay here" I don't wait for them to answer.

If I remember correctly, the humans only have one slightly dangerous weapon.

I'll target it as soon as I locate it.

The wreckers call a temporary truce in the name of dealing with these humans, as though we hadn't already had a truce??

Wreckers..

I squish humans with guns, the wreckers crack skulls..then the canon appears.

I'm too far away to destroy it.

I must have been lost track of what the humans were doing being that the next thing I know a canon has shot me..

What a pain, literally.

I would have thought the canon took more time to charge..

BreakDown had apparently seen me get shot "Are you okay?"

Well..nothing important is hurt.

Unfortunately that doesn't mean it doesn't hurt. My long strides pay off when I'm in reach of the canon, I aim for a part that feels oddly like energon.

Far be it for me a former energon scientist to know how volatile energon and other substances like it.

It is far too entertaining how well slashing the part that feels like enrgon injures the humans..

Silas isn't there?

Where did he go?

He must have gotten away when my attention was on the canon. Not too long after I lost track of Silas a helicopter is seen fleeing..

I aim a missile at the helicopter-

"What are you doing?!" I find my arm in the grasp of BulkHead.

Something in me is saying not to be near BulkHead..

"Killing Silas?" What else would I be doing?

"Don't you think it's more important that you take BreakDown to get a real checkup?"

..I suppose.

When the green wrecker doesn't let go of my arm I rip it out of his grip.

I feel as though BulkHead's more willing to kill me than an Autobot should be..

I'm totally not avoiding my leader by fallowing BreakDown to the medic's lab. I would never do that.

Thankfully for me we make it to the lab without any trouble.

"BreakDown!!"

The medic and wrecker embrace...perhaps my room would have been a better idea..

The two of then continue conversing..I start to notice there's this wet feeling falling down my hip.

What could that be?

I observe my waist, Oh.

The canon did more damage than I thought it did.

"StarScream got me out before they could do anything-uh.." I wonder how long I've been leaking?

"StarScream?"

I cover my wound, "Those humans had a terribly suspicious weapon, it felt similar to energon weaponry.."

"...also I was shot."

"Why didn't you say anything!?" I manage not to flinch when KnockOut yells.

Good question.

Can't think of a good answer.

KnockOut rushes me to the medical slab, he less than politely removes my hand from the bleeding wound.

could be nicer about it..

"Oof, a human weapon did this?" There goes my theory of the humans lacking the tech to hurt us.

I place the back of my hand over my eyes.

I didn't get captured by MECH, BreakDown isn't one optic short, I'm probably not on MECH's list of things to dissect...no wait.

They want to dissect all of us without discrimination, never mind.

I must have lost more energon than I thought, or it's the stress, I'm feeling rather sluggish.

"You were right, Megatron denied sending a rescure team to get BreakDown..you've been right twice now." I failed to fully process what the medic was saying due to my consciousness fading.

"He told you Megatron wouldn't send a rescue team before you asked?" BreakDown asked a hint of sadness remained in his tone.

KnockOut turned his head to face BreakDown, "Honey..you have to know Megatron is starting to lose his mind. You said it yourself."

BreakDown sighs "When did he do this before?"

KnockOut places a finger on his chin"well..when he was looking for me in my lab and ended up running into me coming back from..racing"

BreakDown expresses disappointment at the racing part.

"He told me to look out for the yellow Autobot, the next time I went to race the yellow bot attacked me!" BreakDown nods despite knowing full well that KnockOut was more likely the one who started it.

Then BreakDown remembers something that kept happening "He flinched every time me or Bulk' would yell. He didn't used to do that right?"

KnockOut's looks at StarScream's unconscious form, No, he hadn't always flinched at yelling..

BreakDown takes the silence as a no, he had almost forgotten he was kidnapped and should probably report to Megatron...yeah

wait-

-Had StarScream Avoided Megatron By Going To The Medical Lab??

..ah well, He was injured-wait! No he didn't notice!

HE WAS TOTALLY AVOIDING MEGATRON!...

KnockOut was a little flattered, StarScream thought his lab was a sort of safe space~

-oh wait, that's actually really sad.

BreakDown had left after saying he needed to report to Megatron, KnockOut was left with the unconscious commander..his wings twitching assumedly due to a dream.

What had changed StarScream?

He got a new body sure, but personally he had changed, what could cause such a shift?

I fly into a cave

when I finally feel like I've found what I was looking for I feel the ground start to shake

he grabs my shoulder and turns me so we are face to face

I open my eyes expecting to see purple looking back at me but I find I'm still in the medical lab..
