Chase's First Days at Adventures Bay

Author's Note: I have finally seen the Paw Patrol the Movie, so this is my take on when Chase arrived at Adventure Bay.
The tiny dirty puppy is stunned as he is riding in a car heading away from Adventure City with a young boy named Ryder. He is in Ryder's lap as he is being petted and loved by the human. He has never felt this kind of affection before from a human. In fact, it is a lot more than the person who abandoned him could have ever done. As he sees that they are away from the big tall buildings, he is curious about where he is going with Ryder. His eyes gets heavy and drifts off to sleep like he hasn't gotten any sleep since being abandoned.
A few hours later, the puppy wakes up as he notices that they are almost to their destination. He is stunned as he has never seen tree before. "Did you sleep well little guy"? Ryder asks the puppy as he has not been given a name just yet.
The puppy nods to Ryder as he is still wondering where he is going. "Umm where am I umm going exactly"? The puppy asks Ryder as he is curious about it.
Ryder smiles to the puppy as they are nearly there. "We are going to my hometown, Adventure Bay. It is a lot smaller than Adventure City". Ryder said to the puppy as he pets him as they are arriving to the city limits.
The puppy looks at Ryder as he is a bit skeptical about the name of the town even though it has the word Adventure in the town name. As the two arrive to the town, the puppy is stunned and surprised to see how small it actually is. "Wow, it is not very big at all". The puppy said to Ryder as they make their first stop to a pet care store.
Ryder looks at the puppy as his first thought it is to get the puppy checked out and a bath. "No, it is a sleepy town. Everyone in Adventure Bay is really nice and friendly. Plus the first thing you are going to get is a bath. Plus it is run by a really good friend of mine". Ryder said to the puppy as he is carrying the puppy into the pet care shop.
The puppy is stunned as he is going to get a bath for the first time. A girl is in the shop looks at Ryder as she has a kitten named Callie with her. "Hey Ryder, how was your trip to Adventure City". The girl asks Ryder as she greets him.
Ryder looks at the girl as he nods as he will next to explain about it. "It was good Katie. I need you to give this puppy a bath and a checkup. I found him in Adventure City". Ryder said to the girl named Katie as he explains to her about what happened.
Katie looks at Ryder as she sees the tiny puppy in his arm. "Oh the poor thing, this must be very new to you is it. My name is Katie". Katie said to the puppy as she introduced herself to the puppy as she pets him.
The puppy looks at Katie as he sees how friendly she is just like Ryder. "It is nice to meet you Katie". The puppy said to Katie as he found another human friend who is a friend of Ryder's.
Katie looks at the puppy as she picks him up as she notices that he doesn't have a name yet. "You don't have a name yet do you". Katie said to the puppy as she checks him over.
The puppy looks at Katie as he shakes his head to her. "No, I don't even have a name yet". The puppy said to Katie as he is feeling down on himself.
Ryder looks at Katie as he nods as he needs to explain it to her. "He was abandoned by a person in Adventure City". Ryder said to Katie as he tells her about it.
Katie looks at the tiny puppy as she is shocked by the revelation. "That's awful and horrible, who would do that to you? You are very cute and sweet". Katie said to the tiny puppy s she pets him.
The tiny puppy looks at Katie as he starts to sneeze. Ryder is stunned as Callie is near by to the tiny puppy that is making him sneeze. "I take it that you haven't been near a kitten before until now right". Ryder said to the tiny puppy as he is wondering if the pup is allergic to cats.
The tiny puppy nods as he looks at Ryder as he is getting worried that he will be abandoned again because of it. "Yeah, are you going to abandon me like that human that did before are you"? The tiny pup asks Ryder as he has a sad expression on his face.
Ryder looks at the tiny puppy as he shakes his head no to him. "Of course not, just because you are allergic to cats, it doesn't mean that I will abandon you. I love you for who you are". Ryder said to the tiny puppy as he is truly genuine about it.
The tiny puppy is stunned as he does not realize that Ryder truly means that. He looks into Ryder's eyes as it is filled with honesty and truth. "You love me for me, Ryder", the tiny puppy said to Ryder as he has never heard that before as tears are building in his eyes.
Ryder nods as he smiles to the tiny puppy as he Pete him as gives him a supportive hug. "Yes I do", Ryder said to the tiny puppy as he is right by his side.
The tiny puppy nods as Katie double checks the potential allergy to cats. As it is positive for cats, she makes sure that Callie is put into another room in the shop to give the tiny puppy space to breath and stop sneezing. The tiny puppy sees a bathtub getting prepared by Katie as it is getting ready for him.
As the tiny puppy is in the tub of warm water for the first time, he likes it as Katie is giving his first bath. Ryder smiles as he sees the small changes in the tiny puppy already.
About 30 minutes later, the tiny puppy's bath is finished as his coat is shiny and slick. "Wow, you are actually a German Shepard underneath all of that grime and dirt". Katie said to the tiny puppy as she is very surprised by it.
Ryder nods as he looks at Katie as it is one of his questions got answered. "Yeah I guess being on his own made it difficult to tell what bred his is". Ryder said to Katie as he is thinking about a name for the puppy.
The tiny puppy smiles as he is clean as it has been a long while since he last bathed. Plus he learns that he is allergic to cats as well. He leaves the pet care shop with Ryder. He spots a red truck heading down the road as he frowns as he remembers that the people that abandoned him rode in a red truck. He realizes that he can get some answers and closure to why he was abandoned there in Adventure City. He takes off running after the red truck.
Ryder is stunned as the tiny puppy is chasing the red truck. "Little guy, where are you going"? Ryder asks the tiny pup as he is running after him.
The tiny puppy hears Ryder's voice as he wants some answers. "I want to know why the people in that red truck abandoned me in that place". The tiny puppy said to Ryder as he is chasing after the red truck.
Ryder looks stunned as he will go after the little tiny pup. He gets back into his vehicle and follows the pup. As he continues to follow the pup, he is deeply surprised that the tiny puppy is still chasing the red truck as it went to the farm.
At the farm, a farmer got out of his red truck as he looks at a puppy that followed him all that way. The tiny puppy glared at the man for a moment as he realizes that it is not the same person that abandoned him in Adventure City. "Wait, you are not the man that abandoned me in Adventure City". The tiny puppy said to the farmer as he realizes that he followed him because of the color of the truck.
The farmer looks at the puppy as Ryder arrives at the scene. "No, I am not much of a city person sorry". The farmer said to the tiny puppy as he pets him.
Ryder looks at the farmer as he is getting the feeling on why the puppy chased the red truck all that way. "You wanted answers don't you little guy". Ryder said to the tiny puppy he got to his level.
The tiny puppy nods as he looks at Ryder as it is exactly that he wanted to know. "Yes I do Ryder". The tiny puppy said to Ryder as he wanted to know why he was abandoned.
Ryder looks at the tiny puppy as he still at eye level with him. "You know when I saw you chasing Farmer Al's truck all that way from town, I was thinking what your name should be". Ryder said to the tiny puppy as he has some news for him.
The tiny puppy looks at Ryder as he glances at the farmer who turns out to be Farmer Al. He turns back to Ryder as he learns about a name for him. "Really Ryder", the tiny puppy said to Ryder as he has never gotten a name before.
Ryder looks at the tiny puppy as he nods to him as he sits next to him as he has a pup tag already made for him while at Katie's. "Yeah, I think your name should be Chase". Ryder said to the tiny puppy as he smiles to him.
The tiny puppy looks at Ryder as he is stunned and surprised by it. "Chase hmm, I love it. I am Chase and I am on my case to find the human that abandoned me". The tiny puppy said to Ryder as he loves his name.
Ryder smiles as he looks at the puppy now named Chase. The two hug each other as the puppy apologized to Farmer Al about the mix up as they went on their way.
A few weeks later, Ryder and Chase are around town as they are helping various people. Another red truck comes into town as it went to Mr. Porter's cafe. Chase spots the dark skinned male human getting out. "Ryder, that guy that came out from that red truck. He looks very familiar to me as he is the one that abandoned me". Chase said to Ryder as he wants to confront him about it.
Ryder looks at Chase as he nods to him as the man does match to his description of the man that abandoned him as a tiny puppy. "Ok Chase, I want you to stay close to me while I talk to him". Ryder said to Chase as he will talk to the male human.
Chase nods as he walks with him as he wants to hear it. "You got it". Chase said to Ryder as he is wondering about it.
Ryder went up to the dark skinned man as he wants answers about things. "Excuse me sir, why did you abandon a tiny puppy all alone in Adventure City a few weeks ago"? Ryder asks the man as he wants some answers.
The dark skinned man looks at Ryder as he notices the puppy that he abandoned in Adventure City. He frowns as he realizes that the puppy is still alive. "That little worthless little runt is still alive. Yes I abandoned that lousy thing. Only puppy's who are normal sized from the litter deserves to go to good homes while the runts gets abandoned and left to die. Yet you had the audacity to save that runt". The dark skinned man as he punches Ryder straight to the face.
Ryder went to the ground as Chase is furious as he glares at the man. "How dare you harm Ryder! Ryder has shown me more love and affection than you could have ever dreamed of doing. You are under arrest". Chase said to the man as he growls at him.
The man frowns as he glares at Chase as he looks at the boy as he got up You dare arrest me. Haha, I will harm that boy for even adopted you". The man said to Chase as he went over Ryder to hit him again.
Chase frowns as he growls at the man as bits at his pants. "You will not harm Ryder". Chase said to the man as he tries to pull him away.
The man frowns as Chase is pulling at his pants. He grabs Chase by his neck as he toss him to the side hitting a garbage can. "I can do what ever I want". The man said to Chase as he turns his focus on Ryder.
Ryder is stunned that Chase took a hard hit and land on the ground. "Chase", Ryder said to Chase as the man starts to punch Ryder more.
Mr. Porter is stunned to see what is going on. "Hey that's enough", Mr. Porter said to them as he pulls the man away from Ryder as Mayor Goodway also arrives with a cop friend of hers from Adventure City to arrest him.
The cop puts the man in handcuffs as Chase limps over to Ryder as he sees a police officer taking the perpetrator to his car. "Ryder, is that what I think that is"? Chase asks Ryder as he is wondering about it.
Ryder looks at Chase as he nods to him as this is the first time to see a police officer. "Yes it is Chase. That's a police officer. That man, he is arrested and will never hurt you again. I promise", Ryder said to Chase as he explains about it.
Chase looks at Ryder as the man is being charged for animal mistreatment, animal abandoned, and assault on a minor. "That's good Ryder", Chase said to Ryder as he is inspired to become a police dog.
The man is about to be loaded into the car as he glares at Ryder. "You are doing yourself a huge burden by taking on that runt. In fact, I abandoned 4 more tiny runt reject puppies just like that runt of a German Shepherd that can talk". The man said to them as he is in the car.
Ryder is stunned as he and Chase learns about it. The man is already in the back of the police car and taken back to Adventure City. Chase looks at Ryder as he is curious about the other pups. "Ryder are you ok"? Chase asks Ryder as he licks his face.
Ryder looks at Chase as his face is bruised up. "I will be ok Chase, but are you ok"? Ryder asks Chase as he is worried about him.
Chase looks at Ryder as he is a bit sore. "I am sore from when that man tossed me towards that garbage can. I am glad that the police officer took that man away, but what about the other pups that he abandoned though"? Chase asks Ryder as he is wondering about it. Plus he is curious if that man was telling the truth.
Ryder looks at Chase as he is not sure about it. "I do not know if he was telling the truth about it. The important thing is that he will not hurt you anymore". Ryder said to Chase as he smiles to the pup. Chase nods as he understands that now.
As more time went by, Chase got the training to be a police pup. Plus he has gotten very close with Ryder. He know that he is in a better place than he was before and hopes that he will never have to go back to Adventure City ever again.
