Joe's Note: This came to me at work and I scribbled down a series of plot points and dialogue ideas in Google Docs before getting home and fleshing it out into an actual chapter. Not sure if there's going to be more of this or what order anything will be in, so enjoy it while you can.

"While your extremely complex and convoluted scheme seems bound to fail, possibly by the time the first Sports Festival rolls around, I can't help but notice that I was pointedly excluded from it. And I object! If everyone else is going to be dating and marrying Midoriya-san, then I want to too!"
Looking up from the Baconator that she was currently devouring, Mina shifted to a one-handed grip so that she could gesture to her surroundings. "Yaomomo-chan, this is a Wendy's."
Yaoyorozu stammered as she shifted from one foot to another, looking around anxiously. "Yes? I saw that on the sign when I made my way inside? What does that have to do with my declaration?"
A sigh escaped from her lips as Mina shook her head despondently. "All my best memes are wasted on you, Yaomomo-chan. Well, why don't you head over to the counter and grab some food before we discuss this? And... are your friends here to support you, or..?"
Stepping out from behind Yaoyorozu, Jiro and Toga waved to the assembled group with varying levels of enthusiasm. Which was to say, Toga looked considerably more excited to be there than the constantly aloof Jiro. The blonde bounced excitedly from foot to foot before gesturing to Izuku with both hands and making a grabby gesture. "My quirk makes me weird! But Tsu-chan is weird and Midoriya-kun doesn't mind! So I want to date him too."
"I mean, that's fair." Tsuyu let out a burst of ribbiting laughter as she leaned over her bowl of carbonara spaghetti. "I'm very weird and Izuku-kun doesn't seem to mind, so you may be in luck. What about you, Jiro-chan?"
Jiro shrugged lackadaisically before gesturing to the assembled group with one of her dangling earlobe jacks. "Same sort of thing as Yaomomo, except actual FOMO because I knew that Yaomomo and Bitey were looking to get in on this. You can't leave me as the one single girl for twelve boys to try and hit on. Especially with Mineta and Kaminari in our class."
Taking all of this in with wide eyes, Izuku turned to where Toru was sitting next to him with a pleading expression on his face. She reached out to cover his hand with her own, her index finger tapping a simple 'yes' against his fingers. Yes? Yes to having seven girlfriends? He barely managed to have one girlfriend successfully. He had been baffled enough by the fact that three more girls wanted to date him. And now another three on top of that? Turning back to the new arrivals, he offered a tremulous smile. "Welcome aboard? Call me Izuku."
From her spot at the head of the new arrivals, Yaoyorozu offered a faint bow. "You may call me Momo, or Yaomomo if you prefer. I've never had a nickname before meeting Mina, so this is all very new to me but I find myself liking it." Straightening up, her eyes darted to Izuku's left and she frowned faintly. "Hagakure-san, are you sitting naked on a plastic chair in public? That seems... unhygienic."
"I am. I spent a lot of time getting used to being completely naked to sell the bit. After all, I can't be Izuku's manifested Stand if I'm very obviously trailing along beside him in clothing, can I?" Toru set her own burger down and wiped the corner of her mouth before rising to her feet. "At the same time, now that you've said it, I can't unhear it. Izu-kun, can I have the clothes that I stuck in your bag before we left home this morning? And Yaomomo-chan, call me Toru for one. And secondly, can you make a pair of sneakers in size twenty-five? Nothing fancy, but these invisible shoes are about to give up the ghost after the battle trial and I'd prefer something a little more solid."
Unbuttoning her school blazer, Momo untucked the front of her blouse and pulled it up to expose her bare stomach. Before Izuku could do more than blush and stammer a few syllables, her skin sparkled and a pair of red sneakers that looked uncannily similar to his own popped into existence. Grabbing them before they could fall to the floor, the brunette held them out to Toru. "I thought you might like to match."
Toru let out a squeal as she accepted the sneakers from Momo. "That's so cute! They don't actually make his sneaker in a size small enough that it'll fit me! Ahh, I'll treasure these forever!" Digging through the backpack that Izuku had left hanging from the back of his chair, Toru collected her clothes and then dashed off toward the bathroom. Possibly for propriety's sake? Had she brought a bra and panties? Looking over to see floating underwear in the middle of a fast food restaurant would probably raise some questions...
Glancing back over at Momo, Izuku gestures to the food scattered around the table in front of him, Toru's empty seat, Mina, Tsuyu, and Ochako. "Like Mina suggested, do you guys want to order something maybe? I feel like it's rude if we take up another table's worth of space without actually all of us eating here."
Her hand coming up to her mouth, Momo had a strangely excited look on her face. Before Izuku could even ponder why, he got a very unexpected explanation. "I've never had a hamburger before. Or eaten at a fast food restaurant. Or eaten a meal with a boyfriend. Or girlfriends. This afternoon is going to be full of firsts."
Hesitantly reaching down, she took Jiro's hand in her left and Toga's hand in her right before turning and marching determinedly toward the front counter. Tsuyu let out another ribbiting laugh. "She seems... fun."
"Back to that whole thing in a minute. Did I mishear or did Toru say that you two lived together?" Ochako let go of the Wendy's Burger USA Double that she had blushingly ordered when Izuku offered to pay for everyone, the burger hovering in the air in front of her and spinning slowly. "I know that the idea is that Toru is supposed to be your quirk but how did you get your parents to agree to that?"
Izuku let out a snort of laughter as he thought back to that particular conversation. "My mother was so glad that I met a girl who wanted to spend time with me much less date me that she would have agreed to almost anything I asked her regarding Toru. Her parents were a slightly harder sell, but when she framed it as easier and more cost efficient than taking the Shinkansen every day, they came around. They still don't know about the whole 'their daughter is my quirk' thing, they think I'm just her boyfriend."
Mina let out a low whistle and then leaned in against Izuku, making him blush and squirm in his seat. "Any chance I can get in on that? Chiba to Musutafu is a three hour trip each way, and even with a student discount, Shinkansen tickets aren't cheap. I'm sure my parents would be willing to send your mother some food and rent money if she let me move in."
Before anyone else could pile onto that with their own living arrangement issues, Izuku raised his hands and shook his head. "We live in a two-bedroom apartment in the city. There's barely room for me and Toru at the moment. There are several empty units on our floor, though, so maybe some of you could pool your money and move into those and we could tell your parents that my mother is basically watching over all of us?"
"That doesn't sound like a bad idea. I'm currently renting a small apartment here in Musutafu but my money would probably go further if I combined it with another person or two." Reaching up, Ochako blushingly recaptured her floating burger and took another bite out of it. "Me, Mina, and... no, Tsu has siblings she helps care for. And Momo's so rich that I can't imagine her wanting to slum it with us in a normal apartment. Does anyone know where Toga's from?"
Tsuyu raised her hand hesitantly. "Naka-ku in Hamatsu. Not terribly far from Musutafu. She's definitely one of the most outgoing girls in our class; I could see her wanting to put her head together with Mina and Ochako about getting a place here in Musutafu."
Returning to the table, Toru wrapped her arms around Izuku's shoulders from behind and rested her chin on top of his head. "Or, and hear me out here, we all sit down with Izukun's mother and try to find a house. The money my parents are sending, Ochako's money, the money the Midoriyas get from Izukun's father, maybe some money from Mina or Toga... that would be enough for a mortgage payment, I bet."
"Two problems with that. Which before you ask, I'm already familiar with because I got curious about the idea of us getting a home when you first moved in." Reaching back, Izuku found Toru's hand and grabbed it, gently tugging her out from behind him and back toward her seat. "First of all, there's a down payment. And Japanese banks generally only cover around eighty percent of a home's cost in mortgage. Plus closing costs and miscellaneous fees, we're looking at having to come up with twenty-eight yen out of every hundred that a home costs. That's... not a small amount. And secondly, mortgage terms are fairly long. We'd have to live with my mother until we've long since become professional heroes to pay it off."
Bumping her shoulder against Izuku's, Toru picked up her chicken sandwich again. "I mean, I don't see a problem with that. Your mom is awesome. And a great cook. I can think of a worse person to spend fifteen to thirty years living with."
Before the conversation could go any further, Mina leaned forward and peered at the kanji scrawled across the chest of Toru's shirt. "Even you are affected by propaganda?"
Izuku groaned and would have buried his face in his hands if not for the fact that he was currently holding a hamburger. To his left, Toru hopped up and spun around to present her ass to the group, where the word 'propaganda' was spelled out in bold white kanji across her shorts. "Boom!"
As Tsuyu let out more ribbits of amusement, Mina and Ochako burst into laughter, the pink-skinned girl reaching across their table to slap Toru's ass. "That's hilarious! I love it. Where did you get those? Here in Musutafu? Because if you did, I want to stop there on the way back to the train station."
"I... oh, you can't see my hands because I'm not wearing gloves while I eat. Um, I'm pointing at Izuku right now. His mom has a vinyl cutter that she picked up somewhere along the way." Throwing her free arm around Izuku, Toru draped herself against his side. "This absolute nerd uses it to make t-shirts that say t-shirt."
Turning his head to the side, Izuku leaned over and belligerently took a big bite out of her sandwich. Teach her to make fun of his shirts. He was particularly proud of 'dress shirt' shirt. But that was an argument for another time. Chewing and swallowing, he bumped his head lightly against the top of Toru's. "Did you remember to bring the one you made for Mina last night?"
Toru set her sandwich down with an excited squeal, wiping her hands on a napkin before digging back into what was effectively both of their backpack. Pulling out a bright teal t-shirt, she threw it at Mina. "Sorry, the lettering is a little wobbly because I cut it out of two colors of vinyl and assembled it instead of printing pink onto white vinyl."
The shirt hit Mina in the face and stayed there for a few seconds as the pink-skinned girl wiped her own hands clean before reaching up to grab it. Unballing it, she burst into laughter before turning it to show everyone else the design: a pink bubble on the chest of the teal shirt adorned by the words 'If She Ribbits, She A Thot' in white letters. All attention turned to Tsuyu, who licked the sauce off her lips slowly. "Kero."
Even now Izuku still didn't get the joke but since Tsuyu didn't seem offended and everyone else seemed to find it funny, he laughed along to be polite. Before he could ask any questions, Momo returned with a tray with four different foil-wrapped burgers on it. He cocked his head to the side; hers, presumably Toga's and Jiro's, and... who else's? Seeing his look, Momo blushed faintly. "My quirk operates by converting lipids into my creations. After the amount that I created during the battle trial, I feel like it would be a wise idea to refuel."
Wait, she was going to eat all four burgers by herself? And presumably all of the three orders of fries on the tray as well? As someone with a hearty appetite thanks to his training regimen, Izuku couldn't manage to stop him from blurting out his thoughts. "That's kinda hot."
"You know what you call a girl who can fit a triple cheeseburger in her mouth?" Toru waited a beat before delivering the punch line. "You call her immediately." Still blushing from Izuku's response to her eating habits, Momo opened and closed her mouth several times, a perplexed look on her face, and Toru giggled softly. "I'll explain it when you're slightly less innocent."
Momo seemed to accept that answer, taking a seat across from Tsuyu and leaving space for Toga and Jiro at the end of the row of tables. "I've never been out with friends before. Apart from the obvious that comes from being in a restaurant, what sort of activities are we supposed to partake in."
Ochako and Mina exchanged looks, the pink-haired girl mouthing 'partake' at the brunette. Ochako giggled softly before gesturing to the assembled group. "Well, we were planning on getting to know each other better. Apart from those of us who met at the entrance exam, we've literally known each other for less than forty-eight hours at this point. Especially if we're all going to be dating, we have so much to learn about each other."
Nodding agreeably, Momo carefully unwrapped one of her burgers and stared at it consideringly for a few seconds before looking up at the group. "Do we maybe want to go around the table and tell a little bit about ourselves and our quirks as a way of-"
"Boring!" Slamming her tray down next to Momo, Toga took a seat beside the dark-haired girl and leaned forward to look at the group. "I want to know who's cosplayed before. Not dressing up for Halloween, I mean like... actual going to a convention or festival in costume. I want to know who I can bring to conventions with me in the future. Five thousand yen says that Izukun has a muscle suit and at least three All Might costumes stashed away in his closet."
She wasn't wrong.
