(Part 3)

"Hey, Professor... I have a Plan. To get you that meteorite!" said young Bagsley.

Bagsley was a lover of the illustrated stories, such as Jules Verne's scientifical Fantasies.

'Bags' thought the Moon Rocket could and would work... One day. Maybe soon. A new Hope!

The Professor looked his assistant squarely in the eyes.

"Bags... Was it you? That stole the rare African meteorite?"

Bagsley looked quite dejected. "What? No Sir. I only had an idea of you raising the money

with your 'Moon Maiden' Opera... To get a bigger piece of the meteorite. I have stolen nothing, Sir!"

Professor Wagstaff then showed 'Bags' the morning New London Times... Fresh news: theft of said meteorite.

"So... If it wasn't you, Bags... Then... Who did this dastardly crime against science?" Queried the Professor. Aye!

In a hidden backroom of a disused blacksmith shop, on the quieter outskirts of New London Town:

"Yes... My country will make good use of this rare meteorite. Perhaps for our own rocket... To fight a War?"

This from an agent of an, ahem, un-named foreign power... Towards the East as the crow flies? Yah! And... Aye.

The spy had been aware of the 'Moon Rocket'... and his government had sent him immediately to check on its progress...

Suddenly, the main wooden heavy door to the abandoned workshop... Was busted in by Police battering ram & four Yard officers.

Chief Inspector Lester was just behind his men... And Thomas Shure-Lock Ohms was with the Inspector. Ohms' new detector of

rare metals and mineral frequencies had helped them track down the whereabouts of the unusual, rarest of rare, 'African Beauty'.

The Royal Museum director would be shortly quite relieved... And ever so grateful for this meteorite returning to its new home.

The thief and spy (alias: Arkady Yanofsky), was now led away in irons to a waiting and little-known cell... International? Aye!

The leader of New Scotland Yard smiled brightly at Mr. Shure-Lock Ohms, happy at the positive conclusion of the case at hand...

Chief Inspector Lester: "My Ohms... You solved another one. How can The Sovereign (The Queen) and I show our appreciation?"

Ohms: "Inspector, I am only too happy to oblige you and our fair Sovereign. But, how about you and Mrs. Lester accompany me

and Johnny and his girl Suzie to the very first performance of the new 'Moon Maiden' opera, tomorrow night? Could be fun!"
