"Ben and Ciara were getting ready to watch a movie; Bo had just gone to sleep, so it was a perfect time."

"Babe, I told you I don't want to go out tomorrow night; I want to stay in and have a quiet night."

"Ciara, we stayed; in last year because you were pregnant and everything with the devil. Shawn and Belle really want us to go out with them; Julie already said she would watch Bo for us."

"Ben, I just don't feel like getting all dressed up and going out."

"Baby, I promise you will have a good time; we will go out to dinner and; just have a nice evening."

"Ok, fine, we can go out since you already arranged everything."

"Ben kissed Ciara, then jumped off the couch to grab the popcorn."

"Ciara just laughed and shook her head at her husband."

"When they finished the movie, they cleaned up and headed; off to bed."

"The next Evening, Ciara was; just finishing getting ready when Ben walked into the room."

"I packed all of Bo's things; he is sitting in the playpen waiting for us."

"Your sure you have everything diapers, wipes, pj's, his bear, and blanket?"

"Ciara, I'm sure I have everything, but you are more than welcome to double-check."

"I'm sorry, Ben; I trust you."

"I promise we will have a good time."

"Babe, can you clip this necklace on me?"

"Absolutely; Ben walked up behind her; and clipped the necklace, gave her neck a few kisses, then turned her around to face him."

"You look so beautiful, Babe."

"You look very handsome, just let me fix your tie; it's a little crooked."

"After Ciara fixed his tie, she grabbed her coat off the bed and went to the living room."

"Ben went to grab the bottles to put in the diaper bag while Ciara went to the playpen and picked Bo up; he rested his head against her shoulder, and she kissed his forehead."

"Babe, does he feel warm to you?"

"What?"

"Bo, he feels warm."

"Ben walked over to Ciara and Bo and put his hand on Bo's forehead."

"He does feel warm; let's check his temperature."

"Ben went and got the thermometer; after he checked Bo's temperature, they saw he had a fever of 101."

"We can't go out now; I'm not going to leave him when he has a fever."

"You're right; ill go call Julie and Shawn and Belle."

"I'm going to change and put Bo in a lukewarm bath."

"I'll be there in a minute."

"After Ben called Julie and Shawn, he met Ciara in the bathroom."

"How are we doing in here?"

"We are good; you know how much Bo loves the bath."

"Julie was disappointed about not having Bo but hopes he feels better soon, and Shawn said he would call us tomorrow to check in."

"That's nice of him; why don't you; go change into comfortable clothes?"

"I guess; I won't need a shirt and tie tonight."

"Nope, just some sweats."

"Ben went to change while Ciara finished Bo's bath; she wrapped him in a towel, brought him to his room, put on a diaper and fresh pj's."

"They went into the living room; Ciara sat on the couch with Bo in her arms and turned on the tv. Ciara found one of her favorite design shows and started watching."

"Ben came out, grabbed a bottle for Bo, then sat on the couch with his wife and son."

"Bo was fussing in Ciara's lap, and Ben grabbed the remote and changed the channel; he put on a football game."

"Babe, I was watching that."

"You mean, like last year when I was watching, and; you grabbed the remote and changed the channel on me."

"What was it that you said you were pregnant, so you got one and a half votes."

"Yes, I did say that."

"Well, you are no longer pregnant, so I get to pick."

"Ben noticed that Bo had calmed down as soon as he put the football game on."

"Bo votes football as well; look at him; he can't stop looking at it."

"Ciara looked down and saw Bo leaning against her watching the tv."

"Ben and Ciara shared a laugh, and Ciara kissed the top of Bo's head."

"I'm sorry we couldn't go out tonight; I know how much you were looking forward to it."

"It's fine. I'll; order us some takeout or pick something up; what would you like?"

"Maybe burgers from Brady pub."

"Alright, I'll; go get us a couple of burgers and fries from the pub."

"I will be back in a bit."

"Ciara kissed Ben, then watched as he grabbed his coat and keys."

"Bye, Babe."

After Ben left, Ciara put Bo down; he had fallen asleep on her, so she put him in the playpen."

Brady Pub

"Ben walked in and saw Roman behind the counter."

"Hey, Roman."

"Hey, Ben, what can I do for you?"

"Can I please get two burgers and fries?"

"Sure no plans tongiht?"

"We were going to go out, but Bo has a fever, so we had to cancel."

"That's too bad; I hope Bo feels better."

"Thanks."

"Just have a seat; I'll call you when it's ready."

"Ben took a seat and waited for his order."

"He pulled out his phone and sent a quick text."

"Hey, Babe, how is Bo doing?"

"Ciara heard her phone go off but couldn't find it; she walked into the bedroom and found it on the bed."

"She smiled when she saw it was from Ben."

"Ciara replied he's fine; he is actually sleeping right now."

Brady Pub

"Ben felt his phone go off in his pocket; he pulled it out and saw Ciara's reply."

"He smiled when he read her text and then replied really?"

"Roman called Ben, telling; him his order was ready."

"Ben walked up to the counter and pulled out his wallet. What do I owe you, Roman?"

"Roman smiled and said it's on the house."

"Ben just smiled and thanked Roman, then said goodbye."

"Ben walked through the door, babe; I will never get used to Roman saying it's on the house."

"Shh Bo; is right there."

"Sorry, babe, I thought he was in his crib."

"I wanted him here with us."

"Ben peaked at Bo in the playpen and then looked at Ciara; ready to eat?"

"Yes, I'm starving."

"Ben pulled the containers out of the bag and handed one to Ciara."

"So my Uncle Roman didn't charge you for the food."

"Nope, he handed me the food; I asked how much I owed him; he smiled and said it's on the house, and we said goodbye."

"That was nice of him."

"How's the burger?"

"Delicious."

"Ben and Ciara finished eating; they cleaned up the mess, then went back to sitting on the couch together."

"When it got closer to midnight, they turned the channel to the countdown."

"10 minutes before the countdown started, they heard Bo fussing from the playpen."

"Ben picked him up, and Bo snuggled against him."

"Hey, buddy, are you feeling better?"

"Bo started to cry, and Ben bounced him."

"He's probably hungry; I'll make him a bottle."

"Ciara made Bo a bottle and handed it to Ben."

"Ben brought Bo over to the couch and started feeding him."

"After Bo; was fed, he rested against Ben's chest."

"Ciara watched the countdown, then looked at Ben and said 6,5,4,3,2,1 Happy New Year."

"She leaned over and kissed Ben."

"When they parted, Ben looked at Ciara and said Happy New Year."

"They looked down at Bo and said Happy New Year to him, then they shared another kiss."

"I know this isn't how you wanted to spend the night, but I'm glad we are all together."

"Hey, being with the two of you is all I could ask for; there is always next year."

"Ben leaned over and kissed Ciara; when they pulled apart, Ciara rested her head against Ben's shoulder, then rubbed Bo's back."

"Ciara smiled at Bo, and he smiled back, then she looked up and smiled at Ben."

"Ben kissed Ciara's head then did the same to Bo; he wrapped one arm around his wife, and the other was on Bo's back."

"Ben felt like the luckiest guy in the world sitting there with his amazing wife and son, something he never thought he would ever have."
