Chapter two

Of course Izuku knew he would have to work hard.

Harder than anyone else because he was quirkless yes, but mostly because he was blind

He decided right then and there that he needed to know how to fight

When Izuku told Inko he wanted to learn martial arts, she stared at him and asked "Why?"

So Izuku answered as honestly as he could. "Because I want to be a hero. And you have to know how to fight to be a hero"

With that, Inko smiled and said "Actually, I have a friend who teaches martial arts. I'm sure she would love to help you out"

The next day, Inko and Izuku went to a private martial arts center. When they walked in, Izuku immediately heard "Rumi! How are you? It's been awhile."

"Inko! It's nice to see you again. Where have you been?"

"Oh, you know, here, there, raising a son"

"Oh you must be Izuku!" "Rumi" walked over to Izuku and examined him. "Inko told me about you on the phone yesterday. I have to say, she was right. You are a scrawny twig."

Izuku knew he should be offended, but he couldn't help it. He laughed

"I would say the same to you if I could see" he smiled. He liked Rumi immediately

Rumi laughed. "If you could see, you'd know I'm anything but a scrawny twig"

"Rumi, Izuku wants to learn martial arts, like I told you on the phone" Inko said

"Oh right! Well, I'd give you a tour of the place, but I don't think that would work"

"I guess not." Izuku smiled

"I'll just describe it to you. We have a pretty big place here, and a lot of different things you could try. Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing, Kickboxing, Meditation, stuff like that." Rumi said "Over here is the main gym. This is where most people choose to work out. We have squat racks, barbells, punching bags, all the standard stuff. In the next room over, we have the more specialized things like a kickboxing/boxing ring."

As Rumi explained, Izuku listened, imagining what it looked like in his head

This is going to be awesome. I can't wait to start. Izuku thought

"This is the- Oh! Rika! Over here!" Rumi waved "Rika! This is Izuku! The kid I told you about last night."

Uh… what?!

"Hi Rika! I'm Inko, Izuku's mother. Rumi, you didn't tell me you had a daughter" Inko said

"Well, you didn't tell me you had a son, so now we're even. Izuku, this is Rika, my daughter. She trains here too!"

"Uh… Hi Rika. I'm Izuku. And you probably don't know this, but I'm blind."

OK, chapter 2. Since it seems most of you liked it and wanted more (even tho it was super short!＞﹏＜)I decided to go ahead and give you the next chapter. If you like the story, tell your friends because I might not have enough motivation to make more without more support. I did tweak the format just a little because I like it better. Also, there is a Rumi in the anime/manga, but this is a totally different person. If you guys want the next chapter tell me in the comments so I know whether or not to post it. Just so you know, I have no posting schedule, so I just post as soon as the next chapter is ready. Could be tomorrow, could be next week. You never know with me (*￣︶￣*)
