Coruscant, the capital city of the Galaxy, the jewel of the Republic. As Allison flew the ship into Coruscant space, she couldn't help but feel some darkness upon the planet. The Sith were here, though Allison already knew that. Sidious and his master, Darth Plagueis, were planetside but even she knew not to deal with them. The Sith would use the political game against her, as being a Sith wasn't a crime, at least not anymore. Currently, the law was on their side, so she let that drop. Right now, she has other things to focus on. Then something occurred to her, she could see if she could speak with Plagieus's alter ego, Hego Damask II.
She could ponder on that later, given she had other plans to deal with. Like getting the Jedi ready for war. They had been stagnating for a thousand years, something that could go on no longer. Times have changed and so should the Jedi once more. As she brought her ship into the hanger that was her's specifically due to her Fury-class Interceptor.
"Master Jinn," She said, "I believe it is time for you to get the Queen to the Senate."
Qui-Gon Jinn nodded before heading out of the cockpit to collect the Queen and her entourage, as Anakin came in, looking confused.
"Sensei?" He asked, sounding rather adorable as he did so.
The one thing she taught Anakin was to call her 'Sensei' and not Master, given that he had been a slave. Using the Earth word for 'Teacher' would be a better boon to her then using the term that would cause issues later.
"Yes, Anakin?"
"Where am I gonna go?"
"You'll be coming with me until my former Padawan arrives and comes to take you to our shared quarters. It's something that you'll enjoy, Fay will be like your big Sister."
Anakin's eyes grew at the thought of that, causing Allison to smile at the youth. Such a bright star right there, Anakin shone so brightly in the Force, like she had before she had gotten older and more powerful. Rising out of her seat, she motioned Anakin to go forward as she followed him out the door and found herself looking at the little green troll that was Master Yoda.
"Returned home, you have, Master Allison." He greeted her, head nodding.
"Yoda," She smirked down at him, "I see that age has not grown on you in your near nine hundred years."
Yoda hmmphed at her, "Have much to say on beauty, you have. Gotten older in body, you have not."
"Yep, and I don't plan on changing that any other way."
Hego Damask II or as he was truly known, Darth Plagieus, looked at the message that had come in several hours after the arrival of the legendary Jedi Master Allison. The Dark side rippled in the back of his mind as he looked it over again and again, not fully understanding it but something came to him in that moment.
She knew.
How she knew who he was didn't matter, but as of now, a Jedi Master of over three thousand years knew that he was the Master of the Sith. Though, it seemed that she also wanted to meet him in private over something. That something wasn't mentioned or referenced but given that Master Allison had a very well known reputation, he couldn't deny meeting the woman in person.
After all, she had faced off against Darth Bane before the Rule of Two even began. The Sith of Bane's line knew that Allison and her lineage were powerful users of the Force, Bane and Allison having fought on the planet of Naboo where Sidious had been born. Of course, the battle didn't end in the other's death. It had been interrupted by other Jedi when they arrived to help the belligerent troops under Master Allison's command. Bane had given respect to Allison by giving her his lightspear, a rare build of a lightsaber in any era of history, before he had retreated with the rest of the Brotherhood of Darkness.
He sensed his apprentice approaching as he put down the datapad, seeing the mask that Sidious wore as the mild mannered Sheev Palpatine of Naboo.
"Master," He greeted, tone neutral, "It seems that our plans have fallen through."
"Not exactly, Sidious," Plagieus softly rebuked his apprentice, "It seems that Master Allison knows who we are."
Sidious went rigid before a sneer pulled at his lips, teeth showing only slightly.
"Indeed," Plagieus smirked under his hood's shadow, "it seems she wants to meet with me personally over an important matter that involves both the Jedi and the Sith. The Dark Side has been silent on this matter, as though it knows something is coming that will be out of our control."
Sidious frowned, contemplating, "And the great plan?"
Plagieus sneered, "On hold until whatever this is passes, some things cannot be ignored so easily, my apprentice. Both the Dark and the Light meeting over a common enemy is not unheard of. In the times of the Old Sith Empire, Emperor Valkoreon was that enemy who nearly wiped out the Sith Empire and the Jedi in one blow. A Sith Lord with power inconceivable to us, something both sides of the Force had to face in tandem to defeat. Maybe our plan for a civil war may still happen, maybe not but as of now, it can wait."
Sidious nodded, accepting the answer begrudgingly, "And when does Master Allison wish to meet you?"
Plagieus smiled darkly, "A few days time, after she dealt with the trade federation's blockade. I believe she's taking back her role as the Grandmaster, the Force is silent but I agree that it is time to prepare for war like we have never faced. Something is coming, Sidious, and both the Jedi and the Sith must be ready for it."
Allison stepped into the High Council's chamber and looked at the Jedi around her, most of them of the old crowd that followed the current code that made the Jedi nothing more then flesh droids. She resented that in the thousand years she had been away, the Jedi had fallen from their proper stations as beacons in the galaxy. Now it was time to change that.
"I did not come here to tell you where I have been but to correct what has been altered." She said, looking at every Master in turn.
"Which is what exactly?" Mace Windu asked, narrowing his eyes at her.
"I, Master Allison, reclaim my title and rank as Grandmaster of the Order," She said, the Force flooding the room as she recited the words of reclamment, "Herby taking my place as the overseer of this council and those that live and reside in the Temple of the Light!"
The Force thrummed with power as everyone knew that she now was above them in rank, the Force not only approved of this action but sanctioned it wholeheartedly. Good, now to begin the changes needed.
"First order of business," She said, glowering at the older masters like Ki-adi Mundi and Oppo Rancisis, "all those of the old crowd or those that were a part of the council when the code change happened are hereby released from their seats. Those added to this council recently are to stay here."
Almost all of the Masters were taken off the council except the following that she saw: Shaak Ti, Plo Koon, Mace Windu, Adi Gallia, and Kit Fisto. Good, something to work with now. She took her seat at the head of the council where Yoda had once sat. The others looked at her, though Kit Fisto looked rather confused and slightly amused as of this announcement.
"I seem to have been misplaced on what is going on, I must confess," He said, the Nautolan smiling, "I was only recently granted my seat."
Allison smiled, "No need to worry, Master Fisto, for I can explain."
She let out a breath she hadn't realized she had been holding, "We, the Jedi, are at war."
That got the remaining councilors to look at her in expressions of worry, shock and horror.
"We have not been at war with anyone for over a thousand years," Plo Koon's deep voice said through his mask, "what has changed so drastically?"
Allison sighed, "Before I entered this chamber, on the lift up, I had a rather vivid vision. War was around me, machines of war that were of a time I thought last to the annals of history moving once again. Jedi were falling with troopers of one clan, one that killed five Jedi with his hands alone out of grief and loss. This isn't something we can ignore, this is a warning from both the Light and the Dark. Our Galaxy is going to war and we can't ignore its call any longer."
Shaak Ti nodded softly, "To war we must prepare, Grandmaster Allison, most of us are not warriors however."
Allison nodded, "Sadly, we must return to the old ways of how the Order was run. Both Diplomats and Warriors of Light in the Old Republic era, for that is how we must survive. The code must be returned to its original form. For this war will drain us if we cannot feel like every other being in the galaxy feels."
Mace frowned before rubbing his temples, "I can only feel darkness, how can we have been so blinded?"
Allison put her hand on the dark skinned Jedi Master's shoulder to comfort him, "Blinded, yes but not lost as of yet. We are Jedi but we also are the ones that built this Republic and must defend our home. We must prepare and be ready for the future."
This was the easy part of the plan, now onto implementing it so everyone understood it fully.
Anakin Skywalker looked in awe as the beautiful woman came off the freighter and smiled down at him with a smile that seemed to lite up the world around her.
"Hello, I am Master Fay, I suspect you are my Teacher's new student."
Anakin could only nod as he grinned widely, "Wizard!"
