Amos tensed and glowered after Gentleman Ghost approached a jewelry shop door. He turned from Gentleman Ghost to another Metropolis shop.
He thought Supergirl smiled.
''I'm going to prevent Gentleman Ghost from seizing necklaces while you run errands,'' Supergirl said.
After Amos shrugged his shoulders, he walked into the store. Eyes were on different items such as stuffed animals. Amos lifted one of the stuffed animals before he smiled. Other objects were bought. He opened the door another time and stepped outside. One smile materialized.
Supergirl's kick knocked Gentleman Ghost down and caused him to flee.
''Noodles?'' Supergirl asked.
''Yes.''
