Two years have now passed and life was really looking up. Raven and Devon are living their best life together as a family with their three kids. Booker and Nia are now seniors and looking at different colleges. While their baby brother Dj which is short for Devon Jr is enjoying his terrible twos. Chelsea is now a fully independent woman taking care of herself and Levi. She has dated around but nothing has really come of it but she's okay with that. Nadine decided to move to Chicago for good she has a little studio apartment downtown. She still helps Raven in the boutique but also side hustles as a party planner and decorator she loves what she does.

Raven's boutique

Raven: (talking to a customer) Hello welcome to Exquisite Designs how may I help you?

Customer: Yes I have a dinner party to go to I'm looking for something cute but also kind of sexy.

Raven: ooh I have the perfect dress for you follow me.

Raven walks from behind the counter. And so did DJ on his big wheel. He was pushing that thing so hard he scared the customer and made her scream.

Raven: OH MY GOODNESS DJ!!!! I'm so sorry ma'am that's my son. DJ!!! (She called to him but he kept going) DEVON JONATHAN CARTER!! (DJ STOPPED IN HIS TRACKS) NOW YOU KNOW MOMMY TOLD YOU TO STAY BEHIND THAT COUNTER. NOW GET TO STEPPING!! (He got off his big wheel and went behind the counter in a hurry)

Customer: I didn't even know he was back there.

Raven: Yeah that was the point. His dad was supposed to be here 15 minutes ago. (Just then Devon walked through the door) Excuse me for a moment.(she said to her customer) Where have you been?

Devon: I'm sorry baby I got stuck in traffic! DJ! (He yelled behind the counter)

DJ: Daddy Daddy!!! (He ran to his dad)

Devon: Hi son... (He gave him a hug) He wasn't that much trouble was he?

Raven: He almost ran over my customer with that dang big wheel. Scared the living day lights out of her. (Devon looked over at the customer and got a smirk on his face. So Raven hit him on the arm)

Devon: (Laughing) I'm sorry baby let us get out of your hair. Where is his bag?

Raven: It's back there in the office.

Devon: Okay come on son so we can go pick up your brother and sister.

DJ: Yay!!!

Raven: Yeah and take that big wheel with you.

Devon: (Kissing her on the cheek) Okay...

While he went to the back Raven finished up with her customer. When Devon came back out she was straightening up some things.

Devon: Hay where's Chelsea?

Raven: She's supposed to be on her way I don't know what's going on with her but she's been very distracted lately. And when she comes in she been so tired like she didn't get no sleep the night before. Which is why I told her to just come in this evening.

Devon: Maybe she got herself a new guy in her life.

Raven: Please and not tell me?

Devon: I don't know Rae she might, but anyway we better go. Say bye to mommy.

DJ: Bye mommy (he gave her a kiss)

Raven: Awe bye my little gremlin.

Later

Chelsea: (running in the door) Oh my God Rae I'm so sorry.

Raven: Chelsea your like a hour late.

Chelsea: I know I over slept.

Raven: Well Chelsea that was the whole purpose of me letting you come in this evening so you could get some rest. But it kinda defeats the purpose of your still going to be late.

Chelsea: I know Rae I'm sorry.

Raven: It's okay Chelsea your here now.

Chelsea: Thanks Rae

Raven: Chelsea you know if it's something wrong you can talk to me about it right?

Chelsea: Yes Rae I know.

Raven: Well what's going on? Because lately you just haven't been yourself.

Chelsea: I don't know Rae just busy I guess.

Raven: Busy! (Just then Chelsea's phone rang)

Chelsea: Oh I have to take this. (Chelsea walked out the building and went to the car to answer the phone)

Raven: (talking to herself at the window) Going all the way to her car to answer the phone what's really going on?
