Chelsea's apartment

Chelsea and Levi are on the couch watching TV.

Chelsea: Levi your not even paying attention to the movie.

Levi: Oh sorry mom but Booker just texted me and said that uncle Devon is taking them to the new theme park. That's opening this weekend can I go?

Chelsea: Isn't that the one the news said you will have to sign a waiver to get in?

Levi: YES!!! IT'S GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN. Please mom!!!

Chelsea: I don't know Levi...

Chelsea: But uncle Devon will be there you know he won't let us get on anything to dangerous.

Chelsea: Well yes but...

Levi: PLEASE!!

Chelsea: Okay okay

Levi: (jumping up) Thanks mom I'm about to call Booker right now! (He got up and went to his room)

Chelsea: But I thought we was...(Levi went in his room and closed the door) spending time together. (Taken a deep breath)

Chelsea sits there for a moment then gets on her phone. She decides to send a text message to a number in her phone.

Chelsea: Hay can you talk?

Garrett: Hold on...

15 minutes later Chelsea's phone rang

Phone call

Chelsea: Hello

Garrett: Hay love

Chelsea: Hay you must had been busy.

Garrett: I was around the wife.

Chelsea: Oh I shouldn't have told you to call me.

Garrett: No no I wanted to talk to you. (Chelsea blushed) So tell me how is our boy?

Chelsea: Oh he's fine he wants to go to this new theme park. That just opened up here. But I'm not so sure about it.

Garrett: Why?

Chelsea: Because you have to sign a waiver to get in but Devon's going with them so that eases my mind a little.

Garrett: Oh you know Devon is going to look after Levi. No need to worry love. Besides I think it's great he's getting out and having fun.

Chelsea: I know he's becoming so much more independent Garrett. I feel like I'm losing my baby.

Garrett: Well he is becoming a man now Chels.

Chelsea: I know sometimes I envy Rae because she has lil Devon.

Garrett: I don't they started all the way over.

Chelsea: Yes but they are happy.

Garrett: Yes I know they are. (Awkward silence)

Chelsea: So umm how's your wife?

Garrett: Driving me up the freaking wall.

Chelsea: It can't be that bad.

Garrett: Chelsea these little private conversations we have been having is the closest thing I can get to a civilized conversation. The woman is crazy as a bat.

Chelsea: Well you married her and said for better or worse.

Garrett: Yeah well I'm about ready to break that promise.

Chelsea: Don't do that.

Garrett: Maybe we can have another go at it when I do.

Chelsea: What?

Garrett: I don't know what I'm saying love. I just miss you.

Chelsea: (smiling) I miss you too Garrett.

The next day

On the phone

Raven: So Ms.Thing where was you last night?

Chelsea: I was home Rae.

Raven: Nawl I called your phone two times. But you kept ignoring my call.

Chelsea: (shocked that she knew she was pushing ignore) WHAT NO I WASN'T!

Raven: Mm Hmm see you lying now.

Chelsea: No Rae I'm sorry it must be something wrong with my phone.

Raven: I hear you girl, but anyway I was calling to see if your coming to this theme park with us.

Chelsea: Your going too?

Raven: Girl trust it is against my will. But Devon wants us to have family time. So he's bribing me to go.

Chelsea: So what you get in return?

Raven: Spa day Chels for you and me. Devon is going to pay for everything.

Chelsea: Really I could really use a spa day.

Raven: Yes and then we can get some lunch and maybe some shopping.

Chelsea: Wow Devon's going to pay for all that too?

Raven: Yeah he just don't know it yet. (Chelsea laughed)

Chelsea: Well sure Rae I would love to go are you riding any of the rides?

Raven: GIRL HEL...(Raven caught herself) girl you about to make me curse with my baby right here. You know he copy's everything we say. But no ma'am me and my baby going to stay on the ground

Chelsea: (laughing) You know DJ going to wanna follow his siblings.

Raven: I don't care he going to stay his butt in this expensive stroller me and his daddy got him. I'm give him a little juice and some chips trust he will be alright. (Chelsea laughed) But alright girl that's all I wanted. I will see you tomorrow and if I call you tonight you better answer.

Chelsea: Yes Rae

Raven: Okay bye

Chelsea: Bye
