In the Cyber Café, Ethan was playing a sci-fi game on his laptop at a table, while Conner, Kira and Mei were all doing homework on one nearby.
"Come on? Oh, no you didn't." he said, as his spaceship flew around space, shooting lasers. "Eat laser, you intergalactic freak!"
One of the lasers hit and destroyed a space rock.
"Yeah!" Ethan whooped.
Conner sighed and shook his head, as Kira shook her head, while Mei rolled her eyes.
"Yeah!" Ethan whooped.
"Dude, d'you mind?" Conner asked.
"Made it to level 12." Ethan grinned, ignoring him.
Conner sighed, having enough as he reached over and turned the laptop off.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Ethan asked, turning around.
"I can't contrate with you blowing up things in my ear." Conner explained.
"But it took my three hours to get to that level." Ethan said sadly.
"Sorry, but I'm with Conner on this one." Kira said.
"So am I." Mei said. "We've all got a paper due tomorrow."
"And why aren't you working on yours?" Kira inquired.
"Finished it last week." Ethan explained, turning around. "Trent and I jammed on them while you guys were out being David Beckham and, uh-"
"Oh, don't even say it?" Kira hissed.
"Don't you dare, Ethan!" Mei hissed.
"What? Wasn't going too." Ethan said, turning around.
"Where's Trent anyway?" Kira asked, noticing he wasn't around. "I thought he was working today."
"Hayley gave him the day off." Conner explained. "I think he's spending some quality time with his Dad."
"I'd be surprised if he was actually, after his Dad tried to buy this place a few days ago." Mei said.
In the Mercer Mansion, Trent was in his Dad's office, thinking about what a few days ago, when he stumbled upon the Invisiportal.
"Okay, I know I'm not losing my mind." he said. "It was right around here."
He closed his eyes and began to think.
(Flashback)
Trent held his hand out to touch the Invisiportal, before he got sucked inside it.
"AH!" he yelped, before it closed.
Trent came out of an Invisiportal behind Anton at the Cyber Café.
"Whoa!" he yelped.
Trent looked Anton as his men walked off.
"Trent? Trent?" a voice said.
(Flashback ends)
Trent snapped out of his thoughts, seeing Anton in the doorway.
"Can I help you with something?" Anton asked.
"There's some weird stuff going on here, Dad." Trent explained, shaking his head. "I swear, I went though some sort of interdimensional doorway."
"Hmm?" Anton muttered. "You know, I gotta say I'm worried about you, son. You're working till all hours at this coffee house. Obviously, you're not thinking straight. I gotta make an appointment with my Doctor."
He walked past Trent towards his desk, who turned around.
"I don't need a Doctor!" he snapped.
He turned back, looking worried as Anton stopped.
"I need an explanation." Trent said. "I think you owe that to me?"
"Perhaps you could explain something to me?" Anton asked, turning around while sitting on the desk. "When did it become acceptable to speak that way to your father?"
"Oh, these other projects you're involved in." Trent said. "There's some weird stuff going on here, Dad."
"Whatever goes on around here, I can assured you, it's for the betterment of mankind." Anton assured. "And I promise, you will feel the same way, in time."
Trent turned around. "In time?" he questioned. "When?"
"When you're ready." Anton explained.
Trent turned back around, as Anton got up and approached him.
"Someday, all I have, will belong to you." he explained. "It's a great responsibility, son. And one we must prepare you for. We'll begin that process soon."
Trent kept looking around slightly, looking petrified.
"Now, why don't you go out for a swim?" Anton suggested, patting his shoulder, spooking him. "We have the nicest pool in town and you never use it."
He walked off as Trent sighed, still spooked and not liking what was going on.
In Mesagog's lab, Zeltrax approached Elsa, who stood by the Geno-Randomizer.
"Elsa, I have an idea for a horrible new creature." he explained. "Lord Mesagog will be pleased."
"Typical! Send a mutation down to do what you can't." Elsa scoffed, working on something.
"I can do it!" Zeltrax swore. "But this creature-"
"Your creatures are as pathetic as you are." Elsa said.
"At least I have a plan, Elsa." Zeltrax retorted. "Do you?"
Elsa turned to him.
"Of course I do!" she snapped.
"Huh?" Zeltrax muttered.
"But mine is much more subtle..." Elsa explained, picking up her object, which was a fake Dinozord egg. "...much more dangerous."
The next day, at Reefside High, the bell rang, then the students in Tommy's class all got up from their seats. They all picked up their backpacks as well as Tommy approached the front of his desk, as they were going on a arachnological dig trip, the girls all having their hair tied in ponytails or pigtails. (Mei's was in a ponytail)
"All right, there's only so much you can learn in a classroom. Who's ready for some fieldwork?" Tommy asked.
"Let's go." a girl said.
All the students began to move towards the door, expect Cassidy and Devin.
"Dr. Oliver, may we have permission to film today's dig for journalism class?" Cassidy asked. "It's just, I think it'll look good for my career if I start focusing on more exciting things like nature and science."
Tommy sighed and put some brushes into his pockets.
"But, Cas, I thought you said that stuff was as dull as dirt?" Devin inquired.
"Oh... Actually, Devin, I think I was talking about our last conversation." Cassidy said, holding her hand up.
"Relax, Cassidy, you can film the dig." Tommy said.
Cassidy clapped her hands and walked out of the classroom, being the last student to leave. As Tommy picked up his case and was about to leave, he saw Principal Randall standing in the doorway, wearing digging clothes, holding a shovel.
"Huh?" he muttered.
"Dr. Oliver?" Principal Randall said.
"Principal Randell? Are you in a play?" Tommy asked.
"No. I'm here to join you on your field trip." the Principal said, entering the room, resting the shovel on her shoulder.
"I didn't realize you were interested in digging Dinosaur bones?" Tommy questioned.
"Mm. You'd be surprised at what interests me." the Principal said.
"Yeah. I'd probably would." Tommy stuttered.
"Shall we?" the Principal said.
"Yeah." Tommy said. "The Bus is right outside."
"You can dazzle me with fascinating fossil facts on the way." Principal Randall said.
She turned around and left the room, with Tommy right behind her.
Later, Tommy, Principal Randall and the class were all at the dig site. As some boys pushed a wheelbarrow around, two teens stood by a table with plans, as everyone else dug in large square holes.
Principal Randell approached Tommy in one of the holes, as some students dug nearby.
"Look what I found?" Tommy said.
"Oh." the Principal said.
Tommy cleaned the object with a brush to get a better look at it.
"Where's that...?" a girl said nearby.
"This is a trilobite." Tommy said, turning to Principal Randell. "It's from the Palaeozoic area. Which makes it about...350 million years old."
He wiped some dirt off his hands onto his pants while handing it to her.
"Hmm?" Principal Randall muttered, taking it.
She looked at it though a magnifying glass, as Tommy put his stuff in his vest pockets.
"Amazing. Well, it doesn't look a day over 200 million." she said.
Tommy chuckled and rubbed his hands, before the Principal held hers out.
"Here?" she said, taking his.
He helped her out of the hole, as Cassidy watched nearby, while Devin was lying on his chest near her, staring at a flower.
"Ah?" she muttered, curiously.
"Thank you." Tommy said.
"My pleasure." Principal Randall said.
Cassidy got up and kept staring at them.
"Come on, little flower?" Devin said. "Open up? Open up?"
"Did you just see that?" Cassidy asked. "Principal Randell is totally into Dr. Oliver."
"Oh, let me help you?" Principal Randall asked, cleaning Tommy's forehead with a napkin.
"What?" Devin scoffed.
"Over there?" Cassidy asked, pointing at the teachers.
Devin turned around to them. "Huh?" he muttered.
"It's okay." Tommy assured. "Okay. I got it. I got it."
He dusted off his arm.
"No way." Devin said, turning away. "Randell?"
"Love is right in front of your eyes and you don't even see it?" Cassidy questioned, annoyed.
"Look, to be honest, Cas, I don't think Randell is capable of that emotion." Devin said.
"Well, that makes it an even better story, doesn't it?" Cassidy said. "This is gonna be great for the gossip report."
"Yeah. But what about my time lapse flower shot?" Devin asked.
Cassidy sighed and bent down, before she picked the flower up out of the ground.
"There." she said.
"Hey!" Devin complained.
"Now it's lapse for sure." Cassidy said, pulling the petals out.
"My flower!" Devin gasped, as Cassidy dropped the remains.
She walked off slightly and got behind the camera.
"Come on, Devin?" she said. "Just think of the headline; the Randall Scandal. Whoa, that's brilliant."
Devin got up and approached her sadly.
Nearby, Ethan was behind a bush, digging something up with his hands.
"Hey, you guys, over here!" he called.
Conner, Kira and Mei all moved towards him, Conner and Mei with shovels.
"Check it out?" Ethan asked. "I think I found something."
"Great. What is it?" Conner asked.
He and the girls crouched down near Ethan, then they all saw a Dinozord Egg in the dirt.
"We better tell Dr. O." Mei said.
"I'll get him." Kira said, getting up.
At the main site, Principal Randall was cleaning up Tommy's face.
"It's okay, really." Tommy assured.
He took the napkin from her as she huffed slightly.
"Uh, Dr. Oliver?" Kira said, running towards them.
Both teachers turned to her.
"We need some help identifying something." Kira explained. "We think it might be a...morphasaurus."
"Sure." Tommy said, knowing what she meant. "I'll-I'll be right there. Excuse me?"
Kira turned and walked back towards the others, with Tommy right behind her.
"Hmm?" Principal Randell muttered, staring at them.
Tommy and Kira made it to the others.
"What you got?" Tommy asked.
Ethan, Conner and Mei all got up.
"Well, I think it might be a Dinozord Egg." Ethan said, picking it up.
"Careful?" Tommy said, as Ethan handed it to him.
"Ooh." Principal Randall said, approaching them. "A discovery? How exciting."
"Who invited her?" Mei whispered.
"No idea." Kira muttered.
"Uh, no. Uh, we're not really sure what it is." Tommy bluffed.
"It looks like a Prehistoric egg." Principal Randall said. "May I?"
"Well, uh..." Tommy said.
"Don't worry. I won't drop it." the Principal assured.
Tommy handed her the egg, as she lowered her glasses.
"I should really take that back to the school lab and examine it." Tommy said.
"But of course. Here." the Principal said, holding it out.
A bunch of Tyrannodrones showed up and ran towards the site scaring the other students.
"Run!" a boy cried.
"AH!" several girls yelped.
"Huh?" the Rangers gasped.
They and Principal Randall all looked around, seeing the Tyrannodrones chasing the other students away.
"AHH!" several screamed.
Tommy turned to Conner and nodded, who nodded back, then the four students ran off to fight, figuring the Tyrannodrones were here for the egg. Principal Randall yelped, as Tommy turned and saw three coming towards him. He kicked one away, then blocked another's arm with his own, before punching its chest, then he kicked the third's arm, knocking it down.
"Whoa!" Principal Randall yelped, as Tommy took her hand and led her away.
"I am so outta here!" Devin said.
He picked up the camera stand as Cassidy approached him.
"Devin?!" she said, grabbing his arm.
Devin picked up the rest of the equipment as Cassidy pulled him back.
"Whoa!" he yelped, before she let go, making him spin around. "Whoa!"
He stopped and wobbled as Cassidy came up beside him.
"Hello? Where do you think you're going?" she asked. "We've got an exclusive here!"
"Oh. Oh, right." Devin said.
"Yeah. Now hurry up?" Cassidy said.
"Okay." Devin said, as he set up the stand.
Conner ran along a boardwalk over a large hole, but then stopped in the middle, seeing he was trapped between two. He grabbed ones arm, then ducked as it tried to punch him, then he turned and grabbed the other's arm, then flipped it over into the hole. He then back flipped into the hole himself as the first tried to whack him, then he turned around and kicked a third's leg, knocking it into the hole.
Mei dodged as one tried to kick her, before she kicked its side and knocked it into a nearby large hole, then she turned around to another two. She ducked as one tried to hit her with its tentacle arm, then punched its belly twice, knocking it back into the other, knocking them both down. She then turned as a fourth came at her, before she spun around and tackled it, tripping it up, causing it to fall into the hole.
Tommy stopped running and blocked a kick from one with his left hand, then he turned and kicked another's chest, then he ducked as a third ran past and tried to hit him with its tentacle arm. He then kicked Principal Randall's right leg up, kicking a fourth and knocking it down.
"Ah!" she yelped.
Kira did a sideways handspring, then ducked as two tried to punch her from either side, then she whacked ones chest with her arm. She turned to the other, then blocked its arm with her own, before punching its chest, knocking it into a wheelbarrow, then she ducked and ran past a third as it tried to hit her with its arm.
Ethan ducked as one ran past and tried to hit him with its tentacle arm, then he blocked another's arm with his hands, then blocked its other hand with them. He then tried to whack it with his arm, but missed as it ducked, then he kicked a third's chest, knocking it away, then he gasped and ducked while running forward to avoid a fourth's tentacle arm. He jumped onto a board over a hole, then jumped and twirled around, landing in the hole, then he spun around and hit ones back as it dived and tried to hit him, making it fall onto part of a skeleton.
Conner grabbed ones arm as it tried to hit him in a hole, then punched its chest. He turned and put his hands on a board, kicking his legs out, knocking two away, then he backwards handspringed out of the hole as one tried to stab his hands with its tentacle. He turned and kicked one away, then blocked another's arm with his own, before pushing it away, then he kicked a scale, knocking two more down. He then turned and kicked ones chest, causing it to back flip away, then back flipped again into a large hole, landing in a muddy puddle.
"Wahoo!" Conner whooped.
Ethan blocked ones kick with his hands, then punched it three times, knocking it down. He then grabbed another's arm and back, before he rolled over it as it leaned down, then he pushed it forward, making it flip onto its back. Another then landed on a nearby board as he turned around.
"Huh?" he muttered.
He whacked its legs with his arm, causing it to fall and hit its chest on the board, making it fall onto its back.
"Help!" Principal Randall cried.
Tommy dodged kicked one away, then he grabbed her arm and pulled her up, as she nearly fell over, making one miss as it tried to hit her with its tentacle. He turned and hit another's arm, then chopped its tentacle arm.
"Whoa! Whoa!" the Principal yelped.
Tommy turned and grabbed her, pulling her up as she nearly fell over.
"Oh, Dr. Oliver!" she said, as he picked he up bridle style.
He spun around, using her legs to kick two away as they came towards them.
"AH!" she screamed.
Tommy moved her around so her back was against his chest, using her feet to kick one away, then he moved her so he held her bridle style again.
"AH!" she yelped, as he threw her up, making her spin around.
Tommy punched ones chest as it came at him, then he punched another, before looking up at Principal Randell.
"AHH!" she yelled, before he caught her.
He put her down on her feet, then he kicked a Tyrannodrone away, knocking it down.
Mei spun around and kicked one as it came at her, then she turned and ducked as another tried to whack her with its tentacle arm, before she grabbed its arm and flipped it onto its back. She turned and blocked another's kick with her leg, then kicked its belly slightly, then she did a sideways handspring as it tried to punch her, before she kicked its side, knocking it down. She turned and moved back to dodge as a third tried to punch her, then she ducked and tripped it up with her leg as it tried again, causing it to fall onto its chest.
Kira kicked one away from her, then turned and ducked as two tried to whack her with their arms, getting between them. She blocked ones arm with her own, then knocked its arm down, then knocked it away, causing it to back flip into a hole. She kicked another's chest slightly, then blocked its right hand with her left forearm, then blocked its left with her right one, before she grabbed its right forearm, then raised it up.
"Hyah!" she yelled.
It flipped around and hit a board over a hole, which it then fell into.
On the side-lines, Cassidy and Devin kept on watching, Devin behind the camera, unaware he'd left the lens cap on.
"Over there!" Cassidy said, pointing right slightly.
"Rolling." Devin said, moving the camera. "Yeah."
A Tyrannodrone grabbed Ethan from behind, but he lifted its arm up and broke free, then he turned and pushed it away, knocking Principal Randall slightly, causing her to throw the egg up into the sky.
"OH!" she yelled.
Tommy turned to her as she began to fall over, when he looked up and saw the egg.
"The egg!" he gasped.
He began to run forward as Principal Randall stumbled back, then he jumped and dived towards her.
"YAH!" he yelled.
He grabbed Principal Randall and pulled her down onto him, as he landed on his back. They both looked at each other, before she turned and saw the egg hit the ground over a pile of dirt.
"The egg! I'll get it." she said, pulling herself up.
She ran off to where it landed, as Tommy got up and turned around. A Tyrannodrone grabbed his shoulder from behind, then he turned and punched its chest, then ducked as another tried to punch him, then he grabbed its arm and knocked it down.
Principal Randall kept on running, before one began to chase after her. She jumped over the pile of dirt, making it fall over the pile and onto its back, then she got up with the egg.
"Dr. Oliver!" she called.
Tommy kicked a Tyrannodrone away, before turning around.
"Catch!" she called.
She threw the egg towards Tommy, who caught it and sighed in relief. Principal Randall walked towards him while straightening her outfit.
"Good throw." he said. "You okay?"
"I think so." Principal Randall said.
"We better get back to school." Tommy said.
The four Ranger teens all came towards them both.
"Would you mind explaining to me where you learned to fight like that?" Principal Randall asked, making them stop.
"Uh, Karate club." Conner lied quickly.
"Yeah." Kira said, as they ran off, expect Mei.
"Right." Ethan said.
"Do we even have one of those?" the Principal asked.
"I don't know. I'm still new here." Tommy said.
He turned and walked off.
"It's run by brother out of school." Mei lied, following him.
"Oh..." the Principal said. "I see."
She followed after Mei.
Later, the Rangers were all in the Dino Lab, having put the Dinozord Egg on a table, which was attached to a device, as they stood around the table. Ethan held a scanner to it, while one of the screens showed its status.
"So what's up?" Conner asked.
"You got anything?" Kira asked.
"I don't know." Ethan said. "Something's not right."
"What do you mean?" Mei asked, folding her arms.
"I can't detect any signs of life." Ethan explained.
"That's weird." Tommy said. "I'm sure that's a Dimetrozord Egg."
"Dimetrozord?" Conner questioned.
"It's developed from the Dimetrodon." Tommy explained. "It's really amazing."
"That would explain why the Tyrannodrones want it." Kira noted.
"Yeah." Tommy agreed.
Back at the dig site, Principal Randell was walking around, looking for something.
"Oh, the things I do? Now where's that egg?" she said.
She walked around a large piece of dug up dirt and spotted a Dinozord egg.
"Aha. There you are my precious." she smirked.
She picked it up and looked at it, before she laughed and transformed into Elsa, as they were one in the same.
Back in the Dino Lab, Tommy now sat at the computer, turning it around to face his students, who remained behind the table.
"This is weird." he said, taking his glasses off. "I'm still getting a heat signal from the dig-site where we found the egg."
"But the egg's not even there anymore?" Kira questioned, confused.
"Maybe there's another one." Ethan suggested.
"It's possible." Mei reasoned.
"I better go check it out." Tommy said. "You guys stay here and keep analysing this one."
He got up and walked off as his students nodded.
In a wooded area outside town and near the dig site, Elsa stood before the Dinozord Egg.
"Oh, what a prize; my very own Dinozord." she smirked.
She fired a laser from a device at the egg.
"Rise up! Rise up my beauty and take form!" she commanded.
She kept the laser on the egg, before it brust open.
"Yes." she sneered.
She watched as the Dimetrozord rose up from it, which was aqua, and had a sawblade on its back - in place of the spikes - and forehead. It huffed and blew leaves and other objects away, hitting Elsa.
"Whoa!" she yelped.
She fell down onto her side, before she sat up slightly.
"Now go, and destroy!" she commanded.
The Dimetrozord roared and began racing off.
Meanwhile, Tommy was driving his jeep along a path towards the woods, before he pulled it along. He got out of his jeep and began to walk off, when Zeltrax show up in front of him via an Invisiportal.
"Zeltrax? I thought I smelled something." Tommy said.
"I believe that would be your imminent demise." Zeltrax smirked, cracking his knuckles.
"I don't have time to trade insults." Tommy said. "Now outta my way! I have something important to do."
"That will have to wait. First, we must attend to your destruction!" Zeltrax said.
"Fine, but don't say I didn't warn you." Tommy said.
Zeltrax pulled out his sword.
Tommy brought up his key and held his wrist up, as his bracelet turned into his morpher.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!" he shouted.
(Morph sequence)
Tommy turned his key, opening up his morpher, then he lowered his right arm while holding his left up, as the foot symbol appeared on his chest. He then back flipped through the air, morphing up, then he landed in her position, then his helmet appeared on him, then he did her pose as his Dinozord roared behind him.
"Hyah!" he yelled.
(End morph sequence)
Tommy did his fight pose, then spun around as Zeltrax charged at him, trying to kick him, but missed as he ducked. Tommy then grabbed his arm as he tried to hit him, then he moved Zeltrax around and kicked him slightly, before he ducked as Zeltrax tried to slash him.
In the Dino Lab, Ethan kept the scanner on the Dinozord Egg, but then the scan on the screen showed it was empty.
"Guys, I really don't think there's a Dinozord in here." he said, turning off the scanner.
The alarm went off, making them turn to the screens, one of them showing the Dimetrozord walking near a building.
"Well, there's one." Conner said.
"But how?" Kira wondered.
"You got me?" Mei shrugged. "This is weird."
"Well, can't we...?" Conner began.
"Open it?" Ethan finished.
He lifted the device up, taking the top half of the egg with it.
"Huh?" the girls muttered.
"Huh?" Ethan muttered.
A small hologram of Elsa popped up from the egg, as she'd given them the fake one during the battle at the dig site.
"Not what you expected, Rangers!" she roared.
She laughed as she rose up from the egg, before she vanished with a pop.
"Okay, can I just say I'm so over the evil laugh thing." Kira said.
"Man, that's messed up." Ethan said. "How did she do that?"
"I don't know." Mei said. "I'll give her this though, she was pretty smart here."
The alarm went off again before they could continue.
"Huh?" Ethan muttered.
They all turned to the screens.
The Dimetrozord spun its drill around and dived forward, drilling right through a small building.
"We better get the Zords." Conner said. "It's attacking Little Tokyo! Come on!"
They all moved away from the table, then stood in a line. (Mei was on Ethan's left)
"Ready?" Conner asked, holding his wrist up.
"Ready!" the others said, as their held their wrists up.
Their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"

Conner pressed his morpher's button, then lowered his arms as the foot symbol appeared on his chest. He then back flipped through the air, morphing up, then he landed in her position, then his helmet appeared on him, then he did his pose as his Dinozord roared behind him.
"Tyranno! Hyah!" he shouted.
Kira pressed her morpher's button, then lowered her arms as the foot symbol appeared on her chest. She then back flipped through the air, morphing up, then she landed in her position, then her helmet appeared on her, then she did her pose as her Dinozord roared behind her.
"Ptera! Hyah!" she shouted.

Later, they all arrived in the woods outside Little Tokyo, looking up at the Dimetrozord.
"There it is!" Conner said.
The Dimetrozord roared and approached the Rangers Dinozords, which roared and charged at it.
It banged its head against the Tricerazord's head, followed by the Camptozord's head, then both them and the Pterazord's head. It spun its sawblade around, then dived forward, hitting all three Dinozords and knocking them down.
"Whoa!" Conner gasped.
"Man." Ethan muttered.
"NO!" Kira cried.
"Oh, my gosh!" Mei gasped, covering her mouthpiece.
The Tyrannozord banged its head against the Dimetrozord's, which knocked it back slightly.
"Oh, brutal!" Ethan gasped.
Elsewhere, Zeltrax locked his sword with Tommy's staff, before he pulled back and slashed Tommy's chest while running past him. They both turned to each other, then Zeltrax slashed Tommy twice down the chest, then stabbed him in the shoulder, knocking him away.
"AH!" he moaned, hitting the ground on his chest.
"If you know what's good for you, you'll stay away from her." Zeltrax said.
"Who?" Tommy questioned, turning to him.
Zeltrax powered up his sword while raising it up.
"I have been dreaming of this." he smirked, running his hand along his sword.
He pointed it forward and fired lighting from it, hitting the ground around Tommy.
"AH!" Tommy moaned, rolling away.
He got to his knees and turned around, then he jumped and dived towards Zeltrax, kicking his chest with both feet, knocking him down. He rolled over and got up, then he fired blasts from his head, hitting Tommy's chest and knocking him down.
"AH!" he moaned.
He hit the ground on his back, as Zeltrax began charging at him, before he turned his staff's dial to the yellow spot.
"Brachio Staff, Wind Strike!" he shouted.
He held his staff up as wind shot out of it, which hit Zeltrax, blowing him away.
"AH!" he moaned.
He hit the ground on his chest, then vanished through an Invisiportal as Tommy got up.
"Power down!" Tommy shouted, lowering his arms, de-morphing. "What's his problem?"
In Mesagog's lab, Mesagog sat in his throne, as Zeltrax fell out of an Invisiportal in front of him.
"Oh!" he moaned.
He sat up and looked at Mesagog.
"Lord Mesagog, I was moments from destroying the Black Ranger for you." he said.
"It didn't look that way to me!" Mesagog hissed, getting up. "It looked like he was getting the best of you. Next time you battle, I would suggest you leave your petty jealously out of it."
"Jealously?" Zeltrax questioned. "But I-"
"We'll discuss your punishment later." Mesagog said, sitting down. "The new Dinozord has the Rangers on the ropes. Send one of our mutations down to finish the job."
"Right away..." Zeltrax understood, getting up.
He turned around and limped away.
"...my lord." he said.
Back in Little Tokyo Woods, the Tyrannozord was still banging its head against the Dimetrozord's.
"Come on, Tyrannozord!" Conner yelled desperately.
"Yeah!" Kira said.
The Dimetrozord pounced and banged its head against the Tryannozord's four times, before it powered up its sawblade and pounced forward again. The Tyrannozord roared and spun around, spinning its tail drill, locking it with the sawblade, but then the Dimetrozord whacked its head with its own, knocking it down onto its side.
The Dimetrozord roared, then began to dig its way down through the ground.
"Whoa!" Ethan said.
"Huh?" Kira muttered.
"He's gone!" Conner exclaimed.
The ground began to shake, making them wobble.
"Whoa!" Kira yelped.
"Now what!" Mei yelled.
"What is it?" Conner gasped.
They all looked up, and saw a clock/scorpion/seashell monster called Scorpex rose up from the ground, with a blade on each forearm.
"Targets, located!" he roared.
"Whoa!" the Rangers gasped, backing away.
Scropex laughed while holding his blades up.
"Now what do we do?" Conner gasped.
Scorpex roared.
"Dinozords, now!" Conner shouted.
The four Dinozords all ran/flew towards Scorpex, roaring as they did.
"Let's go!" Conner said.
"Ready!" his friends said.
"Hyah!" they yelled, jumping up.
The screen split into four, from left to right, Mei, Ethan, Conner, Kira, as they turned and crossed their forearms over, entering their Dinozords.
"Hyah!" they shouted.
The Tyrannozord roared and spun around, smashing a rock with its drill tail as it did, then it stood on its legs, while moving its head 90 degrees to its left, while lowering the leg arm and tail. The Tricerazord ran forward and jumped up, then twirled around and attached itself to the right side. The Camptozord roared and jumped up, lowering its head slightly, then attached itself to the back, wrapping its legs around the waist. A head popped up from the top, then it ran forward and jumped up, as the Pterazord split up, with its feet and butt detaching from the rest of it. Its wings folded in and went beneath the Tyrannozord's head, as the feet and butt turned into the helmet, which went onto the head, forming the Thundersaurus Megazord.
"Ah!" Scorpex groaned, staring at it.
"Do it, Kira!" Conner said.
"Pterarang!" Kira shouted.
The Thundersaurus Megazord held the Pterazord back, then threw it away like a boomerang, which flew towards Scorpex, but he deflected it with his blades.
"Oh, no!" Kira gasped.
"Tricera Fist!" Ethan shouted.
The Thundersaurus Megazord tried to punch Scorpex with its Tricera arm, but he knocked it down with his right blade, then he spun around and whacked the Thundersaurus Megazord with his tail, knocking it back.
"Two can play at that! Campto spin!" Mei shouted.
The Thundersaurus Megazord began spinning around while moving towards Scorpex to hit him with the Campto Tail, but he slashed it with his right blade, knocking it back as it stopped spinning.
"AH!" the Rangers moaned.
Scorpex slashed the Thundersaurus Megazord twice down the chest with his blades, knocking it back.
"Whoa!" the Rangers moaned, wobbling.
In the Dino Lab, Tommy - who had returned after finding nothing at the dig-site - was sitting behind the computers, watching his students.
"Conner, I don't think the Thundersaurus is powerful enough." he said. "You need something that can break though his armour."
"Like what?" Conner inquired.
"Like a blade...or a saw... Wait a minute, you gotta use the Dimetrozord." Tommy realized.
"What?" Conner questioned.
"The Dinozord you were just fighting." Tommy explained.
"Dr. O, if you haven't noticed, he's not exactly playing well with others." Conner pointed out.
"Let me see if I can do something about that?" Tommy said.
He looked at his bracelet and touched it.
"Gotta concentrate." he said.
His bracelet turned into his morpher.
In the woods, Elsa looked up at the battle, then shot lighting from her device past the Thundersaurus Megazord.
"You are under my control!" she declared.
The Dimetrozord raced towards the Thundersaurus Megazord, which turned to it. It roared while powering up its saw and pounced forward, diving past the Thundersaurus Megazord, hitting it with its saw. It dived past the Thundersaurus Megazord and hit it again, then did its chest again.
"AHH!" the Rangers moaned, as lighting came out all over the cockpit.
"Whoa!" Kira yelped.
The Thundersaurus Megazord fell onto its chest as Elsa kept watching, then the Dimetrozord roared.
"Hmm? Well done." she said. "Now finish them!"
Scorpex approached the Thundersaurus Megazord, then began to stomp on its back while laughing.
(Dino Lab)
Tommy kept concentrating, as the screen showed his students resting on their spheres.
"AHH!" they moaned.
"Come on?" Tommy muttered.
The headpiece on his morpher changed into the Dimetrozord's, which he then pressed.
(The woods)
The Dimetrozord roared as pink light shattered all around it, breaking it free from Elsa's control.
(Dino Lab)
"Yes, got him." Tommy said.
(The woods)
The Dimetrozord roared while powering up its saw and pounced forward, diving past the Scorpex, hitting him with its saw.
"AHH!" he moaned.
It dived past the Scorpex and hit him again, making lighting come out of him as he fell onto his back.
"AHH!" he moaned.
The Thundersaurus Megazord got up and turned around.
"Way to go." Ethan said.
"Awesome!" Conner whooped.
"Yeah!" Mei whooped.
(Dino Lab)
"All right!" Kira whooped.
"He's all yours guys." Tommy said.
(The woods)
The Thundersaurs Megazord retracted its tail arm into itself.
"And wait till you see what he can do?" Tommy said.
The Dimetrozord moved towards it, then jumped and retracted its head around, so it formed a sawblade, which attached itself to the Thundersaurus Megazord in the tail arm's place.
It approached Scorpex, who tried to slash it with his right blade, but it slashed his blade with its sawblade, slicing off the end.
"Oh, yeah!" Conner whooped, pointing forward.
"I love it!" Kira whooped.
The Thundersaurus Megazord moved closer and hit Scorpex's other blade with its sawblade, slicing off the end.
"AH! Now I'm really mad!" Scorpex exclaimed.
"Oh, you want some more?" Ethan inquired, holding his fist up.
"'Cause you're gonna get it." Mei joked, nodding.
The Thundersaurus Megazord hit Scorpex's chest with its sawblade, knocking him back.
"AHH!" he moaned.
The Thundersaurus Megazord opened up its mouth and shot a fire blast from it, hitting Scorpex all over.
"AHHH!" he moaned, as sparks came out of him.
"Dimetro Blade...!" Conner shouted, punching his fist forward.
"Full power!" the Rangers shouted.
The Thundersaurus Megazord slashed its sawblade across from left to right, then downwards, hitting Scorpex both times.
"AHHH!" he moaned, as lighting came out of him.
He fell onto his chest and blew up.
The Thundersaurus Megazord stood at ease.
(Dino Lab)
"Oh, yeah!" Tommy whooped, turning his chair around. "All right!"
He got up and did a punch move, then clapped his hands.
"Whoo!" he whooped, raising his arms.
In Mesagog's lab, Zeltrax and Elsa both stood before Mesagog with their heads down.
"Another Dinozord in the hands of the Power Rangers." he said. "I don't know which of you to punish first!"
"Punish me?" Zeltrax said. "It is I who has failed you more."
"It's true. At least I made valuable progress in my plan to gain Oliver's trust." Elsa said.
"So you did, Elsa." Mesagog admitted, before getting up. "But your work is not finished yet."
Elsa looked at him as he approached her.
"I want you to stick close to him." he explained, making her groan. "He is our link to the other four."
"But I hate him!" Elsa complained. "He's so...good. There must be another way?"
Mesagog hissed and moved his head forward, making her back away slightly.
"I don't recall asking your opinion!" he hissed.
"Of course, master." Elsa understood. "I will do as you wish. I will stay close to him."
"Good. Now go." Mesagog said, turning away.
Elsa turned and walked off.
"Both of you!" Mesagog ordered.
Zeltrax huffed and turned around.
The next day, at Reefside High, Devin sat behind a recording studio device, wearing some headphones, while Cassidy sat in front of a camera, behind a green screen.
"Okay, Cas, you ready?" he asked, moving a dial up. "We're gonna roll?"
Cassidy straightened herself as Devin pressed a button.
"And in 5...4...3..." Devin said, counting on his fingers.
He did 2 and 1 without speaking, then pointed at her.
"This is Cassidy Cornell with a special report." she began.
(Tommy's class)
Conner, Ethan, Kira and Mei all sat together, as they and other students saw Cassidy's report pop on a TV near Tommy, the background being the outside of the school.
"I have discovered that we have a superhero working right here in Reefside High." she explained.
"Huh?" Tommy muttered, turning to it.
"Huh?" Conner muttered.
Ethan looked up from his laptop as Mei held her mouth open.
"But how'd she...?" she began.
Tommy put his head down, worried he'd been found out.
"Yes." Cassidy said.
(Studio room)
"Our very own Principal Randall fended off..." she explained, as Devin looked at the device.
(Tommy's class)
"...several Prehistoric creatures in an act of selfless bravery."
The Rangers in the room turned to each other slightly, Tommy looking slightly relieved.
(Studio room)
Devin smiled.
"I was on the scene to bring you the exclusive footage. Let's roll tape." Cassidy said.
She turned to Devin, who hit the 'Play' button on the device.
(Tommy's class)
Tommy turned to the TV, as the video began playing.
Cassidy dropped the remains of Devin's flower onto his head, which began playing over and over.
The class laughed.
(Studio room)
"Huh?" Devin muttered, seeing it on a screen. "Wrong tape."
(Tommy's class)
The class kept laughing.
"Uh, we seem to be having technical difficulties." Cassidy blushed. "Please stand by?"
Tommy sighed in relief as his students laughed.
(Studio room)
Cassidy huffed and turned to Devin, who shrugged and hit the 'Stop' button.
A little later, Principal Randall walked down a hallway with a bunch of students.
"Tie up those shoelaces, Clark!" she ordered.
She began to walk down a set of steps when Tommy came up behind her.
"Principal Randall!" he said. "You're okay?"
They both stopped and turned to each other.
"Yes, I'm fine." Principal Randall said.
"You're pretty tough out there." Tommy recalled. "I guess I didn't have to worry about you too much."
"You were worried...about me?" Principal Randall asked, turning to him.
Mei, Conner, Kira and Ethan all came out of a corner behind them both.
"Of course." Tommy said.
(Flashback)
Tommy ran forward as Principal Randall stumbled back, then he jumped and dived towards her. He grabbed her and pulled her down onto him, as he landed on his back, then they both looked at each other.
(Flashback ends)
The bell rang.
"You okay?" Tommy asked.
"That's the bell, Dr. Oliver." Principal Randall said. "Your next class isn't gonna teach itself, is it?"
She turned and walked off.
"Uh, yeah... I mean, no." Tommy said.
"Man, that woman is cold-blooded." Ethan noted.
Tommy turned as his students all came up behind him.
"Yeah, but remember, Dr. O's got a thing for Dinosaurs-" Conner began, jokingly as they walked down the steps.
"Don't even start with me, Conner?" Tommy asked.
"I think it's a prefect match." Kira joked.
"Same here." Mei smirked. "Nice case of opposites attract."
"Very funny, Mei." Tommy said, unamused. "Aren't you guys late for your next class."
They all began to walk towards a door.
"Yeah. We were kinda hoping you could write us a note or something?" Conner asked.
"Yeah." Ethan said, opening the door.
"Dream on." Tommy said, annoyed.
"Oh." Ethan said.
The girls giggled as they all left the building.
