Tommy spins his staff around, making his Energy Orb. Conner goes Super Dino Mode, as Trent slashes his sword down in a zig-zag. The four main Rangers run forward in their Super Dino Modes.

In the Cyber Cafe, Kira was on stage with two other girls, giving a performance, as Conner, Ethan and Mei all sat at a table nodding. Other people were also listening too, as Hayley worked at the counter, while other people sat and talked to each other in the back.
Kira: They're just words
Girls: Just words, you can say anything.
Kira: So talk to me
Girls: I swear, they won't hear anything
Kira: I promise no one else will hear

Girls: Just tell me your fears and your dreams

She played her guitar for a few seconds.

She stopped singing then everyone clapped, making her smile as she turned to the girls.
"Thanks for the help, guys." she said. "My band wouldn't be able to help me with this one."
"Don't mention it, Kira." one of the girls said, as the other nodded. "We'll see you."
Kira nodded, then turned around and moved off the stage, then she sat down with her friends.
"That was good, Kira." Mei remarked.
"Thanks." Kira said.
"Was that a new song?" Ethan asked. "We haven't heard that one before."
"Yeah." Kira answered. "I couldn't do this one with my band however, so I had to ask for some help."
"I was wondering why your band's not here with you." Mei said.
"Hey, you know, maybe you should've gone up with her Mei." Conner suggested. "I can see it now, you'll be just like her and Kylee."
Mei turned to him and blushed.
"Yeah, in another lifetime." she scoffed, folding her arms.
In Mesagog's lab, Mesagog sat in his throne, as Elsa and Zeltrax stood near him.
"Any news on where the White Ranger is?" Mesagog asked.
"No, my lord." Zeltrax said, bowing his head. "We haven't had much luck."
"Well, do you have a new plan to destroy the other Rangers?" Mesagog asked.
"Well, master, I do have a plan." Elsa said. "And, my new monster might also be able to find the White Ranger for you."
"Well then, show me this monster?" Mesagog asked.
Elsa smiled and walked towards the Geno-Randomiser.
"Activating." she said.
She pushed the levers up and watched as the three jars in it got moved up, putting them in their glass casings. They all turned to the chamber, as stream came into it, then its doors opened up, and a octopus/Ivy/mattress table themed monster called Octoross came out. There was also a heater on his back, as it was part of the matress table design.
"Meet Octoross, my lord." Elsa said.
"I am at your command, master." Octoross said, bowing. "What are your orders."
"Perfect." Mesagog said. "Now, go down into the city, and find the White Ranger. And, if the other Rangers get in the way, destroy them!"
"Yes, my lord." Octoross understood.
In the city, Octoross laughed as he marched through the city, as people ran off scared.
"That's right, run!" he roared.
"AHH!" three women screamed.
"Run!" a man yelled, with an accent.
(Dino Lab)
Tommy sat at the computer, seeing Octoross on the screen.
"Guys, there's trouble at the plaza." he explained. "You better get there. I'll meet you."
(Hayley's Cyberspace)
The Rangers were all huddled together, as Conner held his bracelet near his mouth.
"We're on our way." he said.
The others nodded before they all ran out of the place, then turned left and ran off down the street. They then stopped and looked around, seeing they were clear.
"We're clear." Mei said.
"Right. Ready?" Conner asked, holding his wrist up.
The others held their wrists up, then their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Ready!" the others said.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split into four, Conner in the top left, Ethan in the top right, Kira in the bottom left, Mei in the bottom right. They all pressed the buttons on their morphers, then lowered their arms as the foot symbol appeared on them, then they all back flipped through the air, morphing up. They all landed in their positions, then their helmets appeared on them, then they did their poses as their Dinozords roared behind them.
"Dino Power! Hyah!" they shouted.
(End morph sequence)
In Octoross' area, he laughed as people kept running away, before he turned around.
"Time to heat things up." he laughed.
He shot red stream out of his back at the crowd, making them all hide behind either a car, a wall, and a bench.
"How do you like that?" he asked.
The people kept themselves hidden to hide from the stream, when Tommy somersaulted towards the area.
"Hold it right there!" he roared, before landing crouched down.
Octoross turned around, stopping the stream, making it vanish near the people, then he stared at Tommy.
"Oh, a Power Ranger?" he said. "Pretty you're not the one I'm after."
"You looking for something?" Tommy inquired.
"Yeah. I'm looking for the White Ranger!" Octoross snarled. "My master wants a word with him for betraying him."
"Well, tough luck!" came Conner's voice.
Octoross turned left, as the other Rangers all came running towards Tommy.
"You'll have to do with us instead." Conner said.
"Ah! Fine!" Octoross snarled. "Let's see how you do against Octoross."
He charged at the Rangers, who charged back, then Conner ducked and rolled past him as he tried to whack him. He then slashed Ethan down the chest with his left arm, then tried to punch Mei, but missed as she ducked, before kicking his belly.
"Oh!" he moaned, stumbling back.
He turned as Tommy and Kira both charged at him, then he dodged as Tommy tried to kick him, before he whacked Tommy's back with his tentacle, knocking him down. He then turned as Kira sent a punch at him, but he grabbed it with his fist.
"Huh?" Kira gasped.
Octoross punched her chest and sent her flying away.
"AHH!" she yelled.
She hit the ground and rolled over, as the others gathered around her.
"Kira, you alright?" Mei asked, helping her up.
"Yeah." Kira replied.
"Time for a little heating up." Octoross joked.
He turned around and shot red stream from his back, hitting all five Rangers.
"AH!" they moaned, getting knocked up.
They all hit the ground on their backs - expect Ethan, who hit it on his chest.
"Oh!" they moaned.
They all looked up at Octoross as he laughed and turned around from him.
"Now, stay out of my way!" he warned. "You're not the ones I'm after."
He turned around and began to walk off.
"We can't let him get away!" Mei said, getting up.
"I'm with you, Mei." Kira said, getting up.
Both girls charged at Octoross, who stopped and turned around.
"Oh, you want some more, eh?" he smirked. "Well, take this!"
He shot ivy vines out of his arms at Kira and Mei, wrapping around their necks, making them touch them.
"AH!" they gasped.
Octoross pulled them both towards him, as the boys all stared him.
"Kira! Mei!" Ethan cried.
"Let them go?!" Conner demanded.
He got up and brought out his blaster, when Tommy got up pulled his arm down.
"Wait, you might hit Kira and Mei." he said, as Ethan got up.
Octoross pulled the girls closer until they were right near him, then accidently put two of his tentacles onto their heads, making electricity come out of them and through their helmets.
"AHH!" the girls cried.
Octoross pushed them both away, making them hit the ground and de-morph, before the boys ran towards them.
"Kira!" Conner cried.
"Mei, are you guys okay?" Ethan exclaimed.
They both crouched down near the girls, as Tommy held up his staff and stared at Octoross.
"You'll pay for that!" he promised.
"Oh, we'll see about that." Octoross smirked. "Catch me if you can."
He turned and ran off, as Tommy turned to his students.
"You guys stay here. I'll go after him." he said.
"Right. We'll catch up." Conner said.
Tommy turned and ran after Octoross, as the boys turned to the girls, Conner holding Kira, Ethan holding Mei.
"Mei, get up?" Ethan begged, shaking her.
Kira opened up her eyes and looked around.
"Kira, are you okay?" Conner asked.
"Yeah." Kira answered. "But-"
Mei opened her eyes as Ethan shook her slightly.
"Yeah, I'm fine." she said. "But what happened?"
She and Kira turned to each other, then they both gasped and got up, making the boys move slightly.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa!" Ethan said, getting up with Conner. "What's the matter?"
Both girls pointed at each other in shock, as the boys looked confused.
"Why I am staring at my own body?" Mei said.
"What is going on here?" Kira asked, looking at herself. "Why am I in Kira's body?"
Both boys looked confused.
"Girls, you sure you're okay?" Conner asked.
"Does it look like we're okay?" Mei snapped.
"I think... I think you might've had your minds swapped." Ethan said.
"What?!" the girls questioned, turning to him.
"Oh, man!" Conner moaned, rubbing the back of his helmet.
"No wonder we're seeing our own bodies." Mei said, putting Kira's hand on Kira's chin.
"Oh, great!" Kira moaned, facepalming Mei's face.
"Look, can we deal with this later?" Conner asked. "Dr. O needs our help."
"Okay." Kira said.
They all ran off to help Tommy.
Elsewhere, Tommy slashed Octoross down the chest
He turned as his students came towards him.
"We're here, Dr. O." Conner said.
"Right. You two better morph again." Tommy said, turning to the girls. "We'll keep him busy."
"Right." they said.
Tommy, Conner and Ethan all charged at Octoross, then Ethan jumped and kicked him, knocking him back slightly.
"Ready?" Mei asked, holding up her wrist.
"Ready." Kira said, holding up hers.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"
They pressed their morphers, but didn't morph up, shocking them both.
"Huh?" they muttered.
"Why didn't we morph?" Kira asked.
"I've got no clue." Mei shrugged.
Conner dodged as Octoross tried to whack him with a vine, then he rolled forward and kicked Octoross' chest, before turning to the girls.
"Will you two morph already?" he asked.
"We're trying!" Kira assured.
Octoross turned to them both.
"Well, well, what has happened here?" he wondered.
"You'll pay for switching our minds!" Mei swore, pointing at him.
"What?" Tommy exclaimed.
"Did I do that?" Octoross asked, surprised. "Well, I'll be...?"
"You're actting like you didn't expect this?" Ethan noted.
"Well, I didn't." Octoross assured.
"Oh, great!" the girls groaned.
"You two stand back." Tommy said. "We'll figure out what's wrong later."
Both girls sighed as Kira folded Mei's arms.
Conner and Ethan both jumped and dived towards Octoross, both kicking him with both feet, knocking him back.
"AH!" he moaned.
Tommy jumped and dived over his students with his staff, then he dived down towards Octoross.
"Braicho Staff!" he shouted.
He slashed Octoross down the chest with it, knockingh im down and away from the Rangers.
"AHH!" he moaned, hitting the ground.
The three Rangers stared at him, as he pulled himself up.
"You Rangers win this round!" he snarled. "I'll finish you all off next time, especially now knowing what I can do!"
He vanished via an Invisiportal, as Kira and Mei ran towards the others.
"Oh, man! He got away!" Conner groaned.
"Oh, great! Just great!" Mei complained.
"Now what do we do?" Kira asked.
Before anyone could answer, they heard someone laughing.
"Looks you Rangers were having trouble." a familiar voice said.
The Rangers all turned and saw Trent staring at them from top of the steps nearby, morphed up, resting his sword on his shoulder.
"Trent?" Tommy gasped.
Trent scoffed. "I see you Rangers have some trouble." he said, pointing his sword at the girls.
"I'm surprised you're not getting down here to fight us?" Conner said.
"There's no fun in fighting someone who's mind's in the wrong body." Trent scoffed. "I'll wait till you girls switch back before I move."
"You witnessed that?" Mei inquired.
"Yeah. Thought I'd see how it went and fight the winner." Trent said. "In this case though, that's not possible, seeing as how he retreated and what's happened. Think I'll wait till you've sorted this out before deciding who to fight."
He turned around and dashed away, leaving the others confused.
"Come on, let's get back to the lab." Tommy said.
"Okay." the others said.
Later, in the Dino Lab, Hayley held a scanner near Kira's body, as Mei's sat beside her, while the boys all stared at her, the screen showing the results.
"Well, Hayley, what happened?" Tommy asked.
Hayley stopped the scan and turned around.
"Ethan was right." she said. "Kira and Mei have had their minds swapped."
"Well, that explains why we're looking at our own bodies." Kira said.
"Hayley, do you know a way to reserve it?" Mei asked.
"I'm not sure." Hayley said. "I'll need to check the readings carefully first."
She turned and walked over to the computer, as Mei and Kira both got up, staring at the boys.
"Dr O, has this happened before?" Ethan asked, as they all walked towards Hayley.
"Well, once, but this was before I joined." Tommy explained. "And it was due to somebody messing around with a machine Billy made. Made him and Kimberly switch bodies until he was able to fix it."
"Which is different from here, as Octoross did the switch?" Conner said.
"Yeah." Tommy sighed.
"Well, why can't we morph?" Kira asked.
"Since your Dino Gems chose you and bonded with your DNA, they're also connected to your morphers and minds." Hayley explained.
"In other words, you can't morph while you're in each other's body." Tommy translated.
Kira and Mei sighed in annoyance, Kira folding her arms.
"Hmm? It's gonna take some time to find out a way to reverse this." Hayley said. "I can't seem to figure out how."
"Oh, great! Some week I've had?" Kira said. "First getting mind controlled, and now getting my mind swapped."
"Hey, I don't like this anymore than you." Mei swore. "So, what do we do in the meantime?"
"I hate to say it, but you're gonna have to live in each other's bodies until we find a way to reverse what happened." Tommy said. "I'm sorry, girls."
Kira and Mei sighed, as Conner and Ethan turned to each other.
"Okay, this isn't gonna go well." Conner whispered.
"No, it's not." Ethan agreed quietly.
"You two better give us your morphers." Tommy said. "We need to turn them back into bracelets so people won't notice."
Kira and Mei sighed and took off each other's morphers, then handed them to Tommy.
In Mesagog's lab, Mesagog, Elsa and Zeltrax all stared at Octoross, who looked nervous as he moved his body.
"You failed me!" Mesagog hissed. "I should destroy you myself for this!"
"Master, please, don't?" Octoross begged. "I had to withdraw. The White Ranger showed up while I was fighting the others."
Mesagog glared at him, as Elsa approached them.
"Give us one good reason why Mesagog shouldn't destroy you himself?" she asked.
"Well... By accident, I swapped minds with the Yellow and Purple Rangers." Octoross explained.
Elsa's eyes widened as Mesagog turned to him.
"You swapped minds of two of the Rangers?" Mesagog inquired.
"Yes, master." Octoross assured. "They couldn't morph afterwards either."
"Hmm? This is interesting." Mesagog admitted. "Perhaps he's not so useless after all."
"No. And if they can't morph while like that, they'll be easier destroyed." Zeltrax realized.
"Yes, indeed." Mesagog agreed. "Guess you do get another chance, Octoross. Just don't waste it."
"I won't, master." Octoross assured. "That, I promise you."
Mesagog turned and walked off, hissing as he did, before he stopped.
"Now, get back down there and find the White Ranger, and destroy the others if they get in your way, destroy them by swapping their minds." he ordered.
"Yes, my lord." Octoross said.
He turned and began to walk off, when Zeltrax came towards him.
"Save the Black Ranger for me?" Zeltrax asked. "I've got a score to settle."
"As you wish." Octoross said, before he left the lab.
In the city, Mei was walking down a street, sighing as folding Kira's arms.
"I can't go on my skates or do anything similar in case people question me, as Kira doesn't do that stuff." she sighed.
She stopped and leaned against a building, when she heard Kira's phone ring, making her take it out of her pocket.
"Hello." she said putting it to her ear.
"Kira, are we still practicing later?" came a boy's voice.
"Um..." Mei said, knowing it was one of Kira's bandmates. "No, actually."
She faked a cough, covering her hand.
"I'm not feeling well right now. Do you guys mind if we postpone?" she asked.
"Oh... Give me a minute?" the boy asked.
Mei kept the phone to her ear, faking another cough.
"Okay. We all hope you get better." the boy said. "See you."
"See you." Mei said.
She put the phone away.
"Kira's gonna hate me for this, but I can't risk exposing her and making her look bad in front of them." she sighed quietly.
Later, Kira was walking down a path, with Mei's hands in her pockets, when a boy came towards them on a bicycle.
"Hey, Mei, why aren't you on your skates?" he asked.
"Oh, um... I'm not in the mood right now." Kira lied. "Got a lot on my mind."
"Okay..." the boy said. "Well, look, I'll see you."
He raced his bicycle away, as Kira sighed.
"He must know Mei from somewhere." she thought.
Mei's phone rang, making her take it out of Mei's pocket, before putting it to her ear.
"Hello?" she said.
"Kira." came Ethan's voice.
"Ethan, thank goodness." Kira sighed. "I thought it was someone wanting to speak to Mei."
"Well, this kinda is." Ethan said. "I just found out she cancelled your brand practice."
"She what?" Kira exclaimed.
"Yeah. I ran into your friends and they told me she told them you were sick. I don't know where she is now, but I think you better find and ask her why she'd do that." Ethan advised.
"I will. Thanks, Ethan." Kira said.
She put Mei's phone away, then walked off in annoyance, hoping to find Mei quickly.
Later, Mei stood by a tree in the park, when Kira came towards her, looking mad.
"Why'd you call off my band practice?" Kira asked.
"How... How'd you find out?" Mei asked.
"Ethan. He phoned me earlier and he told me." Kira explained. "So, care to tell me why?"
"Well, I..." Mei stuttered.
"I'm waiting?" Kira said, folding Mei's arms.
"Kira, I had to." Mei said.
"Had too?" Kira questioned. "Why?"
"Kira, you don't understand. I'm tone deaf." Mei said.
Kira's anger turned into shock.
"You're what?" she said, lowering her arms.
"Tone deaf. Every time I sang in the school choir when I was a kid, I was always off key." Mei explained. "That's why I cancelled your band practice. Didn't wanna make them all mad at you by sounding awful."
"Mei, I... I had no idea." Kira said. "That's why you refused Conner's suggestion earlier, isn't it?"
"Yes." Mei sighed. "Plus, I was worried I'd accidently use your Ptera Scream while trying to sing."
"Okay, that defiantly wouldn't be good." Kira noted.
"Well, well, well..." came Cassidy's voice.
Kira and Mei both turned and saw her and Devin approaching them.
"Cassidy, what do you want?" Kira asked.
"Oh, nothing much. It's just that, we've been hearing rumours you two haven't been acting like yourself lately." Cassidy said. "Care to explain?"
"Cassidy, don't you have better things to do than be noisy around us?" Mei asked.
"Uh, Cas, Kira has a point." Devin said. "Aren't we suppose to be doing something else."
"Well, um... Fine, but we do want an answer from you two later." Cassidy said.
They both turned and walked off, leaving Kira and Mei alone.
"That was close." Mei said.
"Sure was." Kira agreed. "Tone deaf, huh?"
"Yeah." Mei sighed. "I probably should've told you that earlier."
"No, it's okay." Kira assured. "And you're right. You might've accidently used my Ptera Scream. That wouldn't be good at all."
Mei sighed and turned around slightly, leaning against the tree.
"Not one bit." she said.
In the Dino Lab, Hayley sat at the computer, with Tommy behind her, as Conner and Ethan both came down the stairs.
"You had any luck trying to a find a way to switch Kira and Mei back, Hayley?" Ethan asked.
"No." Hayley sighed.
She and Tommy turned around as Conner and Ethan stopped near them.
"I can't seem to figure out a way to switch them back." she sighed. "It's like... They might be stuck like that forever."
"Okay, there's gotta be a way." Conner said. "You're smarter than this, Hayley."
"I just can't seem to find a way." Hayley sighed. "Nothing I do-"
The alarm went off, making her and Tommy turn around, as the screen showed Octoross in the city.
"That's right, run!" he roared, as people ran off.
"We better get over there." Tommy said.
The screen then showed Kira and Mei, the latter holding Kira's bracelet to her mouth.
"Hayley, you had any luck?" she asked.
"No." Hayley sighed. "And, Octoross is back. He's at the center of the city."
"You two stay outta this." Tommy said. "You'll be of no use as you can't morph."
"But-" Kira began.
Hayley pressed a button, turning off the screen.
"You guys go. I'll keep trying to figure out a way." she said.
"Right. Let's go." Tommy said.
Conner and Ethan nodded.
"Ready?" Conner asked, holding his wrist up
"Ready!" Ethan said, holding his wrist up.
Their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"

At the park, Mei and Kira turned to each other.
"Well, what do we do?" Kira asked.
"We can't just stand here and do nothing, Kira." Mei said. "We've gotta get over there and help, regardless of what Dr. O said."
"But we can't morph." Kira recalled.
"We still have to try." Mei said. "Come on!"
They both turned and ran off to help the others.
In the city, Conner and Ethan raced their bikes along, as Tommy rode his ATV behind them, when Zeltrax showed up in front of them all.
"Huh?" Conner gasped.
The three Rangers all pulled over in front of Zeltrax.
"What do you want, Zeltrax?" Ethan asked.
"I've got a score to settle with Dr. Oliver!" Zeltrax growled, pointing his sword at Tommy.
Tommy got off his ATV.
"You guys go ahead." he said. "I'll handle this."
"Right. Good luck." Conner said.
He and Ethan revved up their bikes and raced off.
"How many times do we have to fight without you explaining what it is you have against me?" Tommy asked.
Zeltrax growled and charged at him, ignoring him, then Tommy ducked and rolled forward as Zeltrax tried to slash him. Tommy got up and turned around, bringing out his staff, as Zeltrax turned around, then tried to slash Tommy, but he blocked it with his staff, locking their weapons together.
Elsewhere Octoross kept chasing people, who ran away scared, before he stopped near a stadium.
"Rangers, come out, come out, wherever you are?" he called.
He laughed when he was blasted from the side, making sparks come out of him.
"OH!" he moaned.
He turned around as Conner and Ethan raced towards him, before they pulled their bikes over.
"Hold it right there, Octoross!" Conner yelled, as they got off their bikes.
"Oh, there you are." Octoross smirked. "Where's the others."
"You know why the girls aren't here." Ethan snarled, pointing at him. "As for Dr. O, he's busy with Zeltrax."
"Oh, yes. I was told about that." Octoross said. "Well, prepare to be your your friends."
"Ethan, be careful. Remember what he can do?" Conner advised.
"I know." Ethan said. "We can't let that happen to us."
Octoross shot his tentacles at both of them, but missed as they dived away, Conner to his left, Ethan to his right.
"You're not gonna get us like you got our friends." Conner said, getting up.
He charged at Octoross, then spun around and tried to kick him, but missed as he dodged, before Ethan kicked him in the back.
"Oh!" he moaned, stumbling forward.
He turned around and tried to whack Ethan with his arm, but missed as Ethan ducked and rolled away. He turned as Conner tried to fly kick him, but he blocked it with his hands, then he punched Conner's chest, knocking him back.
"Ah!" he moaned.
Ethan grabbed Octoross from behind, trying to keep him still, as Conner looked up. Octoross spun around as Ethan tried to keep hold of him, before he let go, then Octoross turned around and slashed him across the chest with one of his tentacles.
"AH!" Ethan moaned.
He hit the ground and rolled over, stopping near Conner.
"Ethan, you okay?" Conner asked, crouching down.
"Yeah!" Ethan moaned.
"Maybe this will stop you long enough for me to switch you both?" Octoross smirked.
He turned around and shot red stream out of his back at the Rangers, hitting them all over.
"AHH!" they moaned.
They both hit the ground on their backs, clutching themselves.
"Uh!" they moaned.
Octoross laughed, when Mei and Kira arrived on the scene, peeking out from behind a wall.
"Oh, man!" Mei said. "They're in big trouble."
They both hid behind the wall.
"Mei, Hayley's right." Kira said. "We might be able to fight, but we still need to find a way to do it fast, since we can't morph."
"Kira, I know." Mei said. "We need to think about this before he pounds Conner and Ethan. He might even switch them like he did us."
"If only there was a way to trick him into switching us back." Kira said.
Mei turned to Kira, and idea in her head.
"Kira, you've just given me an idea on how to do that." she said.
"I have?" Kira asked, confused.
"Yeah, just follow my lead?" Mei said.
She ran out from behind the wall, with Kira behind her.
Octoross laughed as Conner and Ethan both pulled themselves up to their knees, clutching their chests.
"Time for you to become like your friends." he smirked.
"Not so fast!" Mei yelled.
Octoross turned left as the boys turned around, seeing Mei and Kira standing together.
"Girls, get outta here!" Conner said. "Dr. O told you to stay away!"
Kira looked slightly nervous as Mei walked forward.
"Well, looks like you two didn't learn your lesson?" Octoross said. "I can easily take you two unlike your friends."
"We'll see about that." Mei smirked. "I can still use my Ptera Scream on you, even though I can morph up again."
"My?" Ethan questioned quietly. "Can?"
"Huh?" Conner muttered.
"Oh..." Kira muttered, seeing Mei's plan.
She walked over to Mei while folding Mei's arms.
"And I'd still have my advanced agility." she said.
"Huh?" Octoross muttered. "What are you talking about?"
"We're back to normal, thanks to a friend of ours, right, Mei?" Mei asked, wrapping her arm around Kira.
"Oh, yeah." Kira smirked.
Conner and Ethan turned to each other.
"Did Hayley find a way to switch them back?" Conner muttered.
"She hasn't told us?" Ethan recalled. "Just what's going on here?"
"You ready, Mei?" Mei asked.
"Oh, yeah, Kira." Kira smirked.
They both held their wrists up.
"Oh, no you don't!" Octoross yelled.
He shot his tentacles at both girls, which wrapped around their necks, making electricity come out of them, switching their minds back for real.
"AH!" the girls moaned.
Conner and Ethan gasped as both girls fell to the ground as Octoross pulled his tentacles back.
"Now, you can't morph up, as I've switched you again." he smirked. "And this time, you won't be switching back."
He laughed as he approached the girls, as Conner and Ethan turned to each other.
"We've gotta stop him." Conner said.
"Agreed." Ethan said. "But I wish I knew what's going on here?"
"Same here." Conner said.
They both got up to their feet as Octoross stood over the girls.
"Time to finish you two." he smirked.
Both girls turned and looked up at Octoross.
"Why, thank you for the help." Mei said.
"And here's your payment." Kira joked.
She screamed her Ptera Scream at him as Mei covered her ears, sending Octoross flying away onto his back.
"OH!" he moaned.
"AH!" Conner and Ethan groaned, covering their ear areas.
Both girls got up and turned to each other.
"Nice thinking, Mei." Kira remarked.
"Why, thank you, Kira." Mei said.
They both linked their hands together as the boys ran towards them.
"Ow! My ears!" Conner moaned.
"You could've warned us about the Ptera Scream, Mei?" Ethan asked, touching Kira's shoulder.
"Hey, we had too fool you guys too." Mei reasoned.
"Huh?" the boys muttered.
Octoross got up as Mei and Kira took two steps forward.
"You fell for our trick." Mei smirked.
"Trick?" Octoross questioned. "You mean, that was all an act?"
"Yeah, and thank you for really switching us back." Kira smirked.
"What?!" Octoross exclaimed.
"Wait, you two just pretended to make him switch you back?" Conner inquired.
"Yep." Mei smirked. "Kira and I are back to normal."
"And he's not switching anyone else either." Kira vowed.
"We'll see about that!" Octoross snarled.
"Ready?" Mei asked, holding her wrist up
"Ready!" Kira, holding her wrist up.
Their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"
(Morph sequence)
The screen split half, Mei on the left, Kira on the right. They both pressed the buttons on their morphers, then lowered their arms as the foot symbol appeared on them, then they all back flipped through the air, morphing up. They all landed in their positions, then their helmets appeared on them, then they did their poses as their Dinozords roared behind them.
"Dino Power! Hyah!" they shouted.
(End morph sequence)
They all charged at Octoross, who charged back at them all.
Elsewhere, Tommy and Zeltrax both locked their weapons together, gritting as they did, before they pulled apart. Tommy then ducked and backed away as Zeltrax tried to slash him, then he blocked two more slashes with his staff, before he slashed Zeltrax slightly up the chest.
"Oh!" Zeltrax moaned.
He moved to slash Tommy across the chest, but missed as Tommy ducked and rolled to his right, before he got up and turned to him. They both then charged at each other, then Zeltrax ducked and ran past Tommy, who jumped and tried to slash him, before they both turned and locked their weapons together.
"This is getting old, Zeltrax." Tommy said.
"Not for me, it isn't." Zeltrax snarled. "You will pay for what you've done!"
"And what exactly is that?" Tommy asked.
Zeltrax growled and pulled his sword away, before kicking Tommy's chest, knocking him back.
"Oh!" he moaned.
He looked up as Zeltrax jumped and dived down towards him, then he rolled forward as Zeltrax tried to slash him, making him miss. Zeltrax turned around as Tommy got up and turned around, then they both locked their weapons together, gritting as they did. They both moved around slightly as they kept their weapons locked, then Tommy pulled back and punched Zeltrax's chest, sending him flying up.
"AH!" he moaned.
Tommy jumped up and slashed him across the chest, sending him flying down, before he hit the ground on his chest.
"AH!" he moaned.
Tommy landed crouched down, then he got up and turned around, as Zeltrax rolled over.
"Is that all you've got, Zeltrax?" Tommy asked, holding his staff backwards.
"AH! You win this round, Dr. Oliver." Zeltrax said, getting up. "But I swear, I'll be back."
He raised his sword up, then vanished via an Invisiortal.
"I wish I knew what his deal is with me?" he sighed. "I better help the others."
He turned and ran off.
At the stadium, Mei and Kira both jumped and kicked Octoross at the same time, knocking him away.
"AHH!" he yelled.
He hit the ground on his back, then he pulled himself up, as Ethan whacked him with his shield, knocking him back. He turned around as Conner put the pole end of his staff on the ground, then he jumped and kicked Octoross away.
"AH!" he moaned, hitting the ground.
The Rangers all gathered together and stared at him.
"Nice teamwork." Mei said.
"You said it." Kira said.
"Hey, guys!" came Tommy's voice.
The Rangers all turned and saw Tommy running towards them all.
"You okay?" he asked.
"We're fine." Ethan assured.
Tommy looked at the girls.
"I see you're back to normal, since you're here?" he noted.
"You bet, Dr. O." Mei said. "We tricked him into switching us back."
"And he fell for it, hook line and sinker." Kira joked.
"Even we were fooled." Conner assured, as Ethan nodded.
"Sure were." he said.
"Well, impressive." Tommy remarked.
"Hey!" Octoross roared.
The Rangers all turned to him as he got up.
"I'm not finished yet!" he roared.
"We'll see about that. Let's put 'em together, guys!" Mei said, holding her fist up.
They all combined their weapons into the Z-Rex Blaster, with Tommy putting his Brachio Staff on top of the Tyranno Staff.
"Z-Rex Blaster!" they shouted, Conner holding it up.
He aimed it while the others took their positions, with Tommy taking Kira's place, who held Conner's left shoulder, while Mei and Ethan had switched places.
"Huh?" Octoross gasped.
"Ready?" Mei said.
"Aim!" Kira said.
"Fire!" Conner shouted.
A blast came out of it with a mouth, which closed up upon hitting Octoross, destroying him.
"AHH!" he moaned, before he blew up.
"Yeah!" Conner whooped.
He held up the Z-Rex blaster as the others moved away.
"All right!" Mei and Kira whooped.
"Sweet!" Ethan said.
"Nice work." Tommy said.
(Mesagog's lab)
Mesagog and Elsa both stared at the Rangers on a panel screen.
"AH! Activate the Hydro-Regenerator!" Mesagog ordered.
Elsa gulped and nodded.
"Yes, my lord." she said.
She pulled a lever up on the Hydro-Regenerator.
"Activating." she said.
(The city)
A small orange ball with red lines on came out of Octoross' remains and shot towards the sky, creating a large dark cloud. A large rainstorm came out of it, which hit the ground, the remains, which all rose up from the ground, then Octoross was reborn a giant.
"I'm back, Rangers!" he roared, laughing.
Tommy looked up at him, before he turned and put his morpher to his mouth.
"Brachio!" he shouted.
The Brachiozord roared and arrived on the scene, then it stopped, and then its three hatches opened up. The Tyrannozord jumped out from its hatch, then turned and ran off, followed by the Camptozord, as the Pterazord flew out of its hatch. The Brachiozord lowered its neck, as the Tricerazord began to walk down it, then all four Dinozords ran/flew towards Octoross, roaring as they did.
"It's not just people's minds I can switch." Octoross roared.
He shot his vines at the Dinozords, hitting the Tyrannozord's and the Tricerazord's heads, making their eyes glow.
"What the?" Ethan gasped, before putting his morpher to his mouthpiece. "Hayley, what happened?"
(Dino Lab)
Hayley sat at the computer, seeing the Rangers on the screen.
"I think Octoross might've swapped your Dinozords minds." she explained.
"What does that mean?" Conner asked. "We can't form the Megazord."
"You might be able to, but it might not be at full power." Hayley explained.
(The city)
The five Rangers all turned to each other.
"Okay, this isn't good." Tommy said.
"Well, what do we do?" Mei asked.
They all looked up as Octoross laughed.
"I'd like to see you try and combine now." he said.
"We'll see about that!" Conner said, pointing up at him. "Come on?"
All but Tommy jumped up.
The screen split into four, from left to right, Mei, Ethan, Conner, Kira, as they turned and crossed their forearms over, entering their Dinozords.
"Hyah!" they shouted.
The Tyrannozord roared and spun around, smashing a rock with its drill tail as it did, then it stood on its legs, while moving its head 90 degrees to its left, while lowering the leg arm and tail. The Tricerazord ran forward and jumped up, then twirled around and attached itself to the right side. The Camptozord roared and jumped up, lowering its head slightly, then attached itself to the back, wrapping its legs around the waist. A head popped up from the top, then it ran forward and jumped up, as the Pterazord split up, with its feet and butt detaching from the rest of it. Its wings folded in and went beneath the Tyrannozord's head, as the feet and butt turned into the helmet, which went onto the head, forming the Thundersaurus Megazord.
The Thundersaurus Megazord roared as it held its left arm out, spinning the drill.
"Impossible!" Octoross exclaimed, staring at it.
"Anything's possible!" Conner retorted.
The Thundersaurus Megazord charged at Octoross, who gasped.
"Tricera Fist!" Ethan shouted, holding his fist up.
The Thundersaurus Megazord held up its Tricera arm, then moved to punch Octoross, but instead accidently punched itself, knocking itself back.
"AH!" the Rangers moaned, wobbling.
"What happened?" Mei exclaimed.
"We hit ourselves!" Conner answered, as they steadied himself. "Okay, Tyranno Tail!"
The Thundersaurus Megazord moved to hit Octoross with its tail arm, but he knocked it down, making the tail hit a building, creating a small explosion.
"Ah!" the Rangers moaned, wobbling.
"What's going on?" Kira asked.
(Dino Lab)
"I think by swapping the Dinozords minds, they can't control their own actions." Hayley explained. "They're confused."
(The city)
"Looks like I have an advantage over you, Rangers." Octoross smirked.
He slashed the Thundersaurus Megazord down the chest, then across the chest, making it turn and fall down onto its chest.
"Looks like I've beaten you, Rangers." he joked.
Yellow lasers hit his chest suddenly.
"Ah!" he moaned, as lighting came out of him.
He turned and saw the DinoStegozord staring at him, as Tommy looked up.
"Trent! What are you doing?!" he yelled.
The DinoStegozord looked down at him.
"I can see you Rangers are struggling with this creep. And besides, I don't like the idea of the Dinozords having their minds switched." Trent said, touching his shield.
"You stay out of this, White Ranger!" Octoross roared.
He and the DinoStegozord moved slightly, then he charged at him.
"He's mine. DinoStegozord Stinger!" Trent shouted.
The DinoStegozord put its stinger in front of it, then moved back slightly while waving its arms around, then it pushed the stinger away, shooting it away, hitting Octoross' chest.
"OH!" he moaned.
He blew up, his pieces hitting the ground.
The DinoStegozord turned around as the Thundersaurus Megazord got up and stared at it.
"The Dinozords should be back to normal." Trent said. "I'll come back for them another day, Rangers."
The DinoStegozord turned around and vanished, leaving the Thundersaurus Megazord alone.
A little later, Kira and Mei both walked together towards the Cyber Café, as Conner and Ethan stared at them.
"Okay, this is just a little freaky, here." Ethan said.
"Dude, I won't argue there." Conner agreed. "It's like they've become sisters now."
Mei and Kira both laughed as they entered the Cyber Café, then approached the counter, where Hayley was.
"Well, I hear you two are back to normal?" she said.
"Oh, you know it." Kira said.
"Dr. O tell you?" Mei asked.
"Yeah." Hayley said, picking up two glasses off juice. "Here, on the house."
"Thanks, Hayley." Mei said.
Kira picked up hers and drank some, when Cassidy and Devin came towards them both.
"Okay, can I ask you two something?" Cassidy asked.
"What do you want now, Cassidy?" Mei asked.
"Well, we just saw you two coming in, very friendly. More so than you have all year." Cassidy recalled. "Since when have you two been so close like this?"
"Cassidy, after you left us earlier, we found out more about each other." Kira explained.
"And, given all the time we've spent together this year, you can't blame us." Mei said. "I'm surprised you haven't noticed before."
Cassidy and Devin both turned around and walked off slightly.
"Okay, now this is a really weird friendship?" Cassidy said. "Those two hardly have much in common. Just like Conner and Ethan."
"Still, I think it proves something." Devin said. "You don't have to have much in common to be friends with someone."
Cassidy sighed and walked off.
"What?" Devin asked, following her.
Mei and Kira turned to them both and laughed slightly, before turning to each other.
"You know, I think having our minds swapped did us some good." Kira said.
"Yeah, even if it was weird." Mei admitted.
"Still, it has brought us closer." Kira said, picking up her glass. "So, a toast."
Mei nodded and picked hers up.
"Agreed." she said. "To my best friend."
"Same." Kira said. "Outside my band of course."
"Okay, I'll settle for that." Mei joked.
They toasted their glasses together and drank some of their juice together.
