Prologue
Rose Dewitt made herself comfortable, and she felt herself go back into the chair she was sitting in. It was a very comfortable chair that her grandma got her in the late 1950s. Rose thought she was okay…But something happened that made her not okay. As she went into the bathroom, she felt herself get bloody.
"Oh, crap, this can't be happening!" She said to herself. She took a pregnancy test, and found out she was having a baby. This is all very new to her, she never thought she would ever get pregnant…She didn't even have a boyfriend for that.
So, she went to the doctor to see what was going on. The doctor said something that was shocking, and Rose did not know how to react. The doctor told her that she was pregnant, and that she was going to have a healthy baby.
But there was a catch, she needed to have the baby born immediately because there is something wrong with it. This made Rose cry and cry, she did not know what was wrong.
She thought that she did something bad to the baby, but it was not her. She didn't know who would hurt her baby like that. But what the doctor said shocked her.
"Did you ever have sex?"
"Yes…"
"You are pregnant, because the man who you had sex with had an STD…And that can get you pregnant."
More tears started to go down Rose's face as she sobbed, and cried.
