At Reefside High, Ethan sat on a bench with his laptop, playing a game on it, surrounded by three friends, two boys and a girl.
"Ha! With the Platinum Sword of Triose, I can enter the Lock Chamber, and you will stand no chance." Ethan whooped.
He picked up his bag as he got up, then he kissed his laptop, as he and his friends walked off.
"E... Read 'em and weep, suckers." he grinned.
He turned and jogged off happily, as several other kids walked off, some on bicycles.
"Come on." a boy said.
"But..." another said, as more kids talked.
Nearby, Conner was with some of his soccer buddies on the pitch, with one boy standing in goal. He clapped his hands, as a boy in black called Derrick put a ball down, then moved away slightly, readying himself, then he ran forward. He kicked the ball away, but it went right over the net and away.
"Whoa!" the goalie gasped.
"Man!" Derrick groaned, annoyed.
Conner sighed and put another ball down.
"Missed again, Derrick." he said, folding his arms.
Derrick turned to him. "Oh... Oh, great." he said sarcastically. "Thanks. I appreciate your support, man."
"You don't need support, dude." Conner assured. "You need game."
Derrick readied himself, then he kicked the ball away, which went over the net, and towards Ethan and his friends.
"Heads up!" Conner called.
The ball hit Ethan's laptop, knocking it out of his hands.
"Ah!" he yelped.
The ball bounced away as his laptop hit the grass nearby.
"What the?" he gasped.
Derrick smiled smugly, as Ethan turned and began to march towards him.
"Hey!" he exclaimed, as one of his friends went to pick up his laptop.
"What are you complaining about, geek?" Derrick asked.
"First of all; my name is Ethan, not geek! And out of this whole field, you had to kick the ball over there!" Ethan complained. "You really do need practice!"
"Well, look, Ethan, this is my field, and I kick the ball where I wanna kick it." Derrick said coldly.
"Obviously everywhere expect the net." Ethan joked.
Derrick frowned when Mei came over.
"Okay, what's going on here?" she asked.
"Stay out of this, Chang!" Derrick snarled. "This is none of your business."
"It is if you're rude to a friend of mine!" Mei argued. "So, why don't you back off?"
"That's it!" Derrick said.
He moved to punch Ethan as Mei got in front of him, when Conner came over and held him back.
"Hey, what's the big deal?" Conner asked. "Come on? Party's over."
He held Derrick back as he moved closer.
"You watch yourself, dweeb." Derrick warned. "And I'd stay away from the geek, Chang."
"Derrick, chill?" Conner asked.
He led Derrick away, before turning to his friends.
"Cool it, Ethan." he whispered.
He walked off with his soccer friends, Ethan sighed, while Mei turned to him.
"You okay?" Mei asked.
"Yeah. I'm just annoyed." Ethan said. "I'll see you."
He walked over to his friends as Mei stared at them all.
In the Dino Lab, Kira was helping Tommy sort out a bunch of his old stuff, before she put some files down on a table.
"No offence, Dr. O, but you need some serious improvement when it comes to organization." she said, sitting down.
"That's why you're here." Tommy said, patting her shoulder. "Thanks for helping me out."
"What is all this stuff anyway?" Kira asked.
"Odds and ends, mostly from before I joined up with Mercer." Tommy explained. "I thought as long as I'm stuck in my Ranger form, I may as well put the time to good use."
"Wow." Kira said, spotting something.
She picked up a photo of Tommy and his old friends/teammates - Jason, Zack, Billy, Trini, Sophie and Kimberly - all in their Ranger suits, minus the helmets. It had been taken before Tommy had lost his Green Ranger powers to Lord Zedd, as Zack's hair was dreadlocks, while Sophie's was short. (Sophie was on Tommy's right, near Zack)
"Nice hair." she said.
"Hey, it was in style back then." Tommy assured, taking it from her.
Kira smiled, before she picked up another picture, this one having Tommy and Jason holding a trophy together, which they'd won after learning to work together.
"Still can't believe I've got that one." Tommy said, taking it. "Sophie's skills still amaze me."
"Sophie?" Kira questioned.
"Yeah." Tommy said, pointing at her on the first photo. "She's a photographer. She worked at the school newspaper during our High School days. She was the best they had before she left."
"Did she take several of these for you then?" Kira asked.
She looked at more pictures, which included one of Tommy's ancestor - the White Stranger - one of him wearing Red from his Zeo days, one of Jason holding the Gold Pipe Trophy, and one of him, Sophie, Kimberly, Billy, Rocky, Adam and Aisha when they were in Australia. There was also one Tommy, Adam and Jason inside a ring, back when they'd won the prize money to help the Angel Grove Shelter, and one of Tommy holding young Justin up, who held the trophy.
"Yep, she did." Tommy said, putting the first photo down, as Sophie hadn't been a Ranger during his Zeo days. "She had to set her camera on auto-shoot though to get in herself into the ones with her in though."
"Oh, I see." Kira said.
"That one there with Jason alone is one I asked from her, after I lost my Green Ranger powers." Tommy sighed. "Cheered me and Jason up quite a bit."
"So, what is Sophie now? A world famous photographer or something?" Kira asked curiously.
"Last I heard, yeah." Tommy said.
Kira smiled, before she picked up another picture, a more recent one as it had Tommy, Anton and another man in.
"Is this who I think it is?" Kira asked.
"Man, that seems like a lifetime ago." Tommy said, taking it. "This picture was taking in our first dig."
"Who's that guy?" Kira asked, pointing at the third man.
"His name's Terrence Smith. Everyone called him Smitty." Tommy explained.
"What happened to him?" Kira asked.
"It's kinda sad, really. He and I were up for the same job at Anton Mercer Industries." Tommy explained. "Anton chose me, so Smitty went to work for another company, then there was this accident."
"Not really a happy family memento." Kira said sadly.
"I'm not sure where it came from. Just put it over there in that trash pile?" Tommy asked.
Kira took the photo from him.
"Okay." she shrugged.
She dropped the photo into the trash pile beside her, which was in a box.
In Mesagog's lab, Zeltrax stood still, as Mesagog circled around him.
"My lord, if we stop the Black Ranger once and for all, the others will be at our mercy." Zeltrax said.
"Zeltrax, I apricate your commitment to revenge, but your obsession with destroying Dr. Oliver is getting in the way of my goal, to capture the White Ranger." Mesagog said, as he kept circling him.
"But sir, what if I have a plan that will accomplish both our goals?" Zeltrax asked, making Mesagog stop.
"I am not concerned with your goals." Mesagog said, before he continued to circle him. "But, if you should happen to destroy Dr. Oliver in the course of serving mine, so be it."
He turned and walked off.
"Yes, master." Zeltrax said.
"Now get back to work." Mesagog ordered, as the door opened.
Once he left the lab and the door closed, Trent turned visible by a wall, having eavesdropped with his powers.
"So, Zeltrax doesn't like Dr. Oliver?" he smirked.
"Huh?" Zeltrax gasped, turning to him. "You? How'd you-"
"Can't say I like him much either." Trent said, approaching him, touching a beaker on a table as he did. "Gives way too much homework."
Zeltrax brought out his sword and pointed it at him.
Surrender at once!" he demanded.
"What good's that gonna do?" Trent asked, pushing his sword down. "You think my father's gonna continue your quest for vengeance once I'm out of the picture?"
"How do you know about-?" Zeltrax began.
"I know lots of interesting things." Trent assured. "Like; where Tommy Oliver's most vulnerable."
"What game are you playing?" Zeltrax asked.
"No game. A simple exchange." Trent said. "I'll help you get Tommy, you help me get Mesagog."
"Impossible. I would never betray my master!" Zeltrax said.
"That's fine." Trent said. "Nice knowing ya."
He began to walk off, when Zeltrax held up his sword.
"Wait?" he said, getting Trent's attention. "Perhaps we should talk."
The next day, at Reefside High, Conner was standing Derrick and his other soccer friends by a set of stairs, when Ethan came over to them, with Mei watching nearby.
"Hey, Conner, did you get the answer to number 5 on Mercer's homework?" Ethan asked, as a boy past him. "It's gotta be a trick question."
"D'you know this guy?" Derrick asked, pointing a pencil at Ethan.
"What's that gotta do with you?" Ethan inquired.
"Look, geek-boy, isn't there some sci-fi convention that you need to go to?" Derrick smirked.
"Oh, you really are cliché, aren't you? Your parents must be so proud." Ethan mocked.
"What you just call me?" Derrick asked, annoyed. "What did he just call me?"
Mei came over to them all, stopping on Ethan's right.
"Okay, that's enough!" she said. "Can't you just leave him alone, Derrick? It was a joke."
"And why are you asking him. Can't you figure it out for yourself?" Ethan smirked.
"Ethan, no?" Mei said, touching his shoulder.
Derrick threw his pencil to the floor.
"That is it. You're in need of a serious lesson." Derrick said.
"Oh, fine." Ethan mocked, taking his backpack off. "Bring it?"
"Ethan, are you sure you wanna do this?" Conner asked.
"Stay outta this, McKnight." Derrick said, before pointing at Mei. "And you too, Chang."
He pointed at himself.
"This is between me and the geek." he said, pointing at Ethan.
The bell rang before anyone could say anything.
"You know what; for the first time in my life, I actually wanna go to class." Conner said, patting Derrick's shoulder. "So, come on, guys?"
"Yeah, let's go." Mei said, turning around.
They all began to walk off, expect for Ethan, who Derrick stopped by.
"You and me, after school." he whispered. "Your friends won't be there to protect you."
He patted Ethan's shoulder, then turned and followed the others. Ethan picked up his backpack and put it on, then began to follow them, when he heard a familiar noise.
"What now?" he groaned, approaching an open door.
He looked through the doorway, and saw Zeltrax and a fly/pine tree/wishing shrine monster called Termitetron outside, walking away.
"Great! Like I don't have enough to think about?" he complained.
He ran outside and put his backpack on, then turned a corner, when Termitetron and Zeltrax turned around to him.
"What?" Termitetron said.
He laughed as Ethan stopped and stared at them.
"School for the Misguided Machines is down the road." Ethan said.
"Very funny, but it's this school we're after." Zeltrax scoffed, pointing at him.
"Get real, Zeltrax?" Ethan scoffed.
"This is very real." Zeltrax assured. "Termitetron can destroy whole cites in a matter of moments. Turn over Dr. Oliver, or I will release him on your fellow students."
Ethan rolled his eyes, as he couldn't, since Tommy was trapped in his Ranger form.
"Not if I can exterminate him first." he said.
"Stubborn as always." Zeltrax smirked.
"Ready!" Ethan said.
He raised his wrist up, as his bracelet turned into his morpher.
"Dino Thunder-" he shouted.
"Ethan!" came Cassidy's voice.
Ethan frowned as turned around, as Cassidy, Devin and several other students showed up behind him, preventing him from morphing.
"Prefect timing." Zeltrax said.
"Now, those are what I call bullies." Cassidy said, as Devin put his camera down. "Roll the camera, Devin."
"No, stay back?" Ethan asked.
Termitetron fired lasers from his right hand, which resembled a stinger, hitting the ground near Cassidy, Devin and the others, making sparks come up from it.
"AHH!" several screamed.
"Whoa!" others yelped, including Devin.
They all ducked down, as Zeltrax and Termitetron laughed, who Ethan turned to. The students all ran off scared, before Cassidy and Devin both hid behind a bush, as Termitetron fired at Ethan.
"Whoa!" he yelped, flipping sideways to his left.
He then rolled forward to dodge some more blasts and sparks.
"Ah!" he grunted.
He got up and turned around to Termitetron and Zeltrax.
"Ah!" he gritted, looking around, as he couldn't morph.
"Great action." Devin remarked, as he filmed everything.
Ethan and Termitetron charged at each other, then Ethan jumped up and spun around to kick Termitetron, but missed as he ducked. Ethan then landed and punched him twice, then blocked a kick with his hands, before he whacked him slightly, but then Termitetron grabbed his arm and shoulder.
"AH! AH!" Ethan moaned, as Termitetron dragged him away.
Nearby, Kira ran out of a door, then stopped between two pillars, seeing the fight.
"Great! Like I'm not late enough." she sighed.
She turned and hid behind a pillar, then looked around, seeing she was clear.
She raised her wrist up, as her bracelet turned into her morpher.
"Ready. Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"
(Morph sequence)
Kira pressed her morpher's button, then lowered her arms as the foot symbol appeared on her chest. She then back flipped through the air, morphing up, then she landed in her position, then her helmet appeared on her, then she did her pose as her Dinozord roared behind her.
"Ptera Power, hyah!" she shouted.
(End morph sequence)
Ethan was sent flying away.
"AHHH!" he yelled.
He hit the ground on his back as Termitetron laughed.
"Hey!" Kira yelled.
Termitetron turned right as Kira flipped sideways to her right in the air.
"Back off!" she yelled, firing her blaster.
The blasts hit Termitetron all over, knocking him back.
"AH!" he moaned.
Zeltrax got in front of him, as Kira landed on the ground.
"What?!" Zeltrax exclaimed.
Kira ran towards Ethan, who got to his knees.
"You okay?" she asked, aiming her blaster at Zeltrax and Termitetron.
Cassidy and Devin kept watching in amazement.
"Whoa." Devin said, lowering his camera.
"Little boy, why don't you step aside?" Kira suggested.
"Little boy?" Ethan grumbled, annoyed.
"Go on, Ethan! Go!" Kira hissed quietly.
"Right." Ethan said, getting up.
He began to run off, just as Derrick, Conner and Mei all showed up by the doorway, Derrick looking at him.
"Hold it right there!" Kira yelled.
Conner and Mei both came up behind Derrick.
"Check out your loser friend now, you two? I'm defiantly gonna kick his butt after school." Derrick said.
"I'm gonna go take a look." Conner said.
"So am I." Mei said.
They both began to move, when Anton came up behind them and touched their shoulders.
"Stay back?" he asked, as they turned to him.
Conner and Mei turned to each other, knowing they couldn't help Kira and Ethan with Anton watching them.
Kira kicked Zeltrax's sword as he tried to slash her, then spun around and kicked Termitetron's hand, then she ducked as Zeltrax ran past from behind and tried to slash her. She blocked Termitetron's hand with her forearm, then ducked and dodged past him as he tried to whack her, then she tried to whack him with her arm, before he kicked her back, knocking her forward.
"Oh!" she moaned.
She turned around while clutching her shoulder, as Termitetron jumped up.
"Huh?" she muttered.
She looked up as he dived down, when Ethan - now morphed - dived and pulled him down and away.
"No you don't!" Ethan said, rolling away.
Cassidy and Devin kept watching as Ethan got up.
"Whoa!" Devin said.
Ethan turned around to Termitetron.
"This guy bugs me!" he said.
Kira jumped and spun around to kick Zeltrax, as he ducked down and tried to slash her with his sword, making them miss each other. She turned around and stood on a bench as he tried to slash her, then she spun around and kicked his sword, making him stumble away. She did a sideways handspring along the bench to her left as he tried again, then she kicked his sword down with her leg as he tried again.
"Uh-uh." she said, pinning it on the bench.
Cassidy whacked Devin's arm.
"Come on!" she hissed, running off. "We need a close up."
Devin followed her.
Kira did a backwards handspring as Zeltrax tried to slash her legs, then he kicked her hands,, knocking her back.
"Uh!" Kira moaned, clutching her belly.
She lifted her head up, as Cassidy and Devin appeared on either side of her.
"Oh, cool. A girly Ranger." Cassidy said.
"Not now!" Kira said, grabbing her arm.
She pulled Cassidy down as Zeltrax tried to slash her.
"Duck!" Kira yelled.
She pushed Devin aside as he ducked, as Zeltrax tried to slash him, then he ran over to Cassidy while turning around.
"Oh..." Devin said, as she turned to him. "Um..."
Ethan blocked a kick from Termitetron with his hand, then grabbed his arms, before he broke free and knocked Ethan away.
"AH!" he moaned.
He fell onto his back between Cassidy and Devin, who moved away slightly, before they turned to him, Devin still filming.
"Okay, if could you just be still for one second?" Cassidy asked. "'Cause I'm like trying to conduct an interview here"
Ethan got up and ran towards Termitetron, as Cassidy and Devin turned to him.
"Whatever?" Cassidy sighed, annoyed.
Ethan tried to punch Termitetron while running past him, but he ducked, then Ethan turned and blocked a kick from him with his hands, before he whacked him with his arm.
"AH!" Ethan moaned.
He went flying away, twirling around as he did, before he hit the ground on his back.
"Ah!" he moaned.
He pulled himself up to a crouch position and brought out his blaster, only to see Devin and Cassidy in front of him, Devin filming with his camera.
"Huh?" he muttered.
"Can you tell us exactly what's happening here?" Cassidy asked.
"Maybe later!" Ethan said, getting up and pushing Devin down.
"Whoa!" Devin yelped, turning and falling onto his back.
"Devin, get up!" Cassidy scowled.
"Lasers!" Ethan shouted, as he stopped and fired his blaster.
The blasts hit Terimitetron all over, making tiles on his wings fall off.
"I got one too!" he mocked, firing his.
The blasts hit Ethan's chest, knocking him off his feet.
"AH!" he moaned, turning around.
Kira dived towards Zeltrax, landing in front of him, then she did a sideways handspring past him as he tried to slash him, then did two backwards ones. She then ducked and spun around as he tried to slash her, before she tried to kick him, but missed as he ducked. She then spin kicked his sword slightly, before he spun around to slash her legs, but missed as she jumped up, before he then kicked her chest, knocking her back.
"He always gets me with that one!" Kira complained.
"How 'bout this one?" Zeltrax sneered.
He held his hand out, then fired lighting out of it, hitting Kira and knocking her back as she crossed her forearms over, as sparks came up from the ground.
"AH!" she screamed.
She hit the ground on her side, then Ethan crouched down beside her.
"Kira?" he cried, touching her arm.
"I'm okay." Kira said, sitting up slightly.
"Nice shot." Termitetron commented, coming up beside Zeltrax.
"I want you to give a message to the Black Ranger?" Zeltrax asked.
"You ever heard of e-mail?" Ethan said, annoyed.
"Tell him to surrender to me at the old warehouse before sunset, or I will turn Termitetron loose on the city." Zeltrax explained.
He held his hand up, then they both vanished through an Invisportal.
"Great." Ethan mumbled, as Kira panted, clutching her shoulder.
A little later, in Anton's class, Conner, Mei, Derrick, Cassidy, Devin and other students all sat at the tables, writing down notes as Anton worked on the blackboard. Kira and Ethan both ran into the classroom, getting everyone's attention.
"Uh, sorry we're late." Ethan said, as everyone turned to them. "Did we miss anything?"
"Well, nothing you can't make up in detention." Anton said, putting his calk down. "After school, today."
He picked up his calk and began to write on the blackboard again, as Kira and Ethan walked towards their seats.
"Why does this feel really familiar?" Kira asked.
Derrick stuck out his leg as they past him, tripping Ethan up onto his chest.
"Oh!" he moaned.
He turned around to Derrick.
"My bad." Derrick said.
Kira helped Ethan up.
"Derrick..." Anton said, getting his attention. "...I believe there are rules in the student handbook about treating your fellow students with courteously and respect."
Conner moved slightly as Kira and Ethan sat down near him, as Mei was on his other side.
"Why don't you, uh, join us in detention today, to review them?" Anton asked.
Derrick's smile faded, as he lowered his head, before he turned to Ethan.
"Now, let's open our textbooks to chapter 8?" Anton asked.
"After school." Derrick mouthed.
Conner and Mei both looked between him and Ethan, knowing their friend was in trouble.
Later, as the bell rang, the four Rangers all walked down a hallway together, Ethan and Kira having told Conner and Mei about what Zeltrax wanted..
"We're sorry for not helping you guys. Dr. Mercer spotted us before we could leave." Mei explained.
"There was nothing we could do." Conner assured.
"Well, I guess it's understandable." Ethan sighed.
"Yeah, we understand, guys." Kira assured. "You guys are gonna tell Dr. O about Zeltrax, right?"
"Yeah, okay. But what about you, Ethan?" Conner asked.
"What about me?" Ethan questioned.
"The fight." Conner said.
"Derrick." Mei said.
"The whole school knows about it." Kira said.
They kept on walking, as Cassidy and Devin came towards them.
"...me advice?" Devin said.
"You have to start listening to me." Cassidy said. "I told you. Oh, Ethan, hello."
They both began to walk with the Rangers.
"Okay, good luck for today, and if you happen to fall over, fall towards the camera?" Cassidy asked. "That'll be really good for me."
She and Devin turned and walked off, as the Rangers stared at them - expect Ethan.
"I'll be fine." he sighed.
"Look, unlike some people, we're your friends. And we're not gonna let you do something stupid. So, Derrick is a bully who can kick your butt. Who cares?" Kira said, staring at Ethan. "Wait, you're not gonna use your Dino Power on him, right?"
"No, I'm not gonna use my Dino Power." Ethan assured.
"Dude, no offence, but without it-" Conner began.
"There's other ways to deal with a bully." Ethan assured.
"I hope you know what you're doing, Ethan." Mei hoped.
After school, Conner and Mei were in the Dino Lab with Tommy, having told him about what happened and where Kira and Ethan were.
"You're going?" Conner questioned, as Tommy had decided to meet Zeltrax. "Isn't that walking right into his hands?"
"Maybe, but he's not gonna stop pushing us around until someone stands up to him." Tommy said. "Let's go see what Zeltrax is up to."
"It's your call, Dr. O." Mei said, as Conner nodded.
"Come on." Tommy said.
They all walked off.
In Mesagog's lab, Zeltrax was pacing around.
"I will destroy Oliver, then I will have Elsa all to myself." he declared, turning around, holding his hands up.
Trent turned himself visible, leaning against a shelf.
"Do I smell a love triangle?" he asked, his arms folded.
"Huh?" Zeltrax gasped, turning around. "Quiet! All that concerns you is the destruction of Dr. Oliver."
Trent smirked and approached him.
"Hey, I was just asking." he said. "You stick with the plan, and Oliver's history. And when you do succeed, I will expect you to contribute to the overthrow of Mesagog. As we agreed?"
He held out his hand.
"As we agreed." Zeltrax said, shaking his hand.
In the warehouse, Tommy, Conner and Mei were all looking around, but couldn't see Zeltrax.
"Where is that hunk of junk?" Conner wondered.
"Stay focused?" Tommy cautioned. "I've got a bad feeling about this."
They all kept looking around.
"Okay, this is weird." Mei said. "This is the right warehouse, right?"
"Yeah." Tommy said. "Huh?"
They all saw Termitetron come out from behind a pile of boxes.
"You really are suckers for punishment." he said, as they got ready to fight.
He laughed as Tommy nodded at his students, then Termitetron charged forward.
"Hyah!" the Rangers shouted, charging back.
At Reefside High, Anton was in his classroom, with Ethan, Kira and Derrick all sitting looking at the clock. As soon as it got to 4pm, Anton turned to the students.
"You may leave." he said, before he left the classroom.
"That was fun." Kira said sarcastically.
Ethan sighed when his bracelet beeped, making him turn to Derrick.
"We may have to reschedule." he said.
"I knew you'd try and get out of it." Derrick said.
"Believe me, I want this over as much as you, but something just came up." Ethan assured.
"He's not lying." Kira said, knowing what he meant. "It's important."
"As soon as I'm done, I'll be back." Ethan promised. "I'll meet you in the soccer field."
"One hour!" Derrick warned. "And if you don't come back, I'm coming looking for you. And you won't like it when I find you."
Ethan knew he was serious by his tone, then he and Kira picked up their bags and ran off, as Derrick stared at them.
In the warehouse, Conner spun around to kick Termitetron, but missed as he leaned back, then he blocked a punch from Mei with his left arm. Tommy kicked his left arm slightly, then he kicked Tommy, knocking him down, then he whacked Conner's arm and shoulder with his right arm, knocking him down. He then turned and dodged as Mei tried to kick him, before he kicked her belly, knocking her down next to Conner, as Ethan and Kira showed up.
"Guys!" Ethan gasped.
He and Kira ran towards the others, then Ethan helped Conner up, as Kira helped Tommy up, while Mei pulled herself up, as Termitetron laughed..
"I thought you were supposed to meet Zeltrax?" Kira questioned.
"I guess he was afraid to face me in person." Tommy said.
"He'll be here." Termitetron assured. "I'm just the welcoming party."
"I guess we better change into our costumes then. Ready?" Conner asked, holding his wrist up.
The others held their wrists up, then their bracelets turned into their morphers.
"Ready!" the others said.
"Dino Thunder Power Up, ha!"

The screen split into four, Conner in the top left, Ethan in the top right, Kira in the bottom left, Mei in the bottom right. They all pressed the buttons on their morphers, then lowered their arms as the foot symbol appeared on them, then they all back flipped through the air, morphing up. They all landed in their positions, then their helmets appeared on them, then they did their poses as their Dinozords roared behind them.
"Dino Power! Hyah!" they shouted.
(End morph sequence)
Conner jumped up and dived towards Termitetron, kicking his chest and knocking him away.
"AH!" he yelled.
He landed on his feet, then turned around to the Rangers, who gathered together. (Mei was on Kira's left)
"You posers are no match for me!" he snarled. "Bug-bomb!"
He put his hands on his face, then lowered them, shooting a bunch of flies at the Rangers.
"OH!" the Rangers moaned, as the bugs hit them repeatedly.
"Oh!" Tommy moaned, as two flew by him.
Several flew past Ethan, then a few flew past Kira, then a few flew past Mei, then a few hit Conner, before he dived away. He got up while holding his blaster, then he jumped up and dived to his right.
"Lasers!" he shouted, firing his blaster.
The blasts hit several of the bugs, destroying them, then he jumped and dived to his left and fired again, hitting the rest.
"HEY!" Termitetron exclaimed, as one landed in front of him and disintegrated. "Those are my babies?!"
Conner charged at him with his staff.
"Feel this baby!" he sneered, slashing him across the chest.
He turned and slashed Termitetron twice more diagonally, then again twice more.
"AH!" he moaned.
"Tyranno Staff!" Conner shouted.
He put the pole end of his staff into the floor, then he jumped and began spinning around while holding it, kicking Termitetron over and over.
"AH! AH! WHA?!" he exclaimed, flying away.
He hit the floor on his back as Conner put his feet down.
"Let's put 'em together." Conner said, holding his staff over his head.
They all combined their weapons into the Z-Rex Blaster.
"Z-Rex Blaster!" they shouted, Conner holding it up.
He aimed it while the others took their positions.
"NO!" Termitetron cried, getting up.
"Time to bug out." Ethan joked.
"Fire!" Conner shouted.
A blast came out of it with a mouth, which roared and shot up slightly, before it dived down and closed up upon hitting Termitetron.
"I thought I fold! AHH!" he moaned, before he blew up.
Conner held up the Z-Rex blaster as the others moved away.
"Good work." Tommy said.
In Mesagog's lab, Zeltrax and Trent both stood by the Hydro-Regenerator, staring at the screen.
"You plan has failed." Zeltrax said.
"It ain't over to the fat monster sings." Trent said. "Now make him grow? Keep the other Rangers busy, and Oliver's yours."
"Hmm. This better work." Zeltrax said.
He pulled a lever up on the Hydro-Regenerator.
In the warehouse, a small orange ball with red lines on came out of Termitetron's remains and shot towards the roof. The remains all rose up from the floor, smashing through the ceiling, then Termitetron was reborn a giant.
"I'm big bad bug!" he roared.
The Rangers all ran out of the warehouse and looked up at him as he laughed.
"You guys ready?" Tommy asked.
Zeltrax came out of an Invisiportal on their left, getting their attention.
"Huh?" Tommy gasped.
"Rangers." Zeltrax said.
"Better late than never." Tommy retorted.
"I'd say my timing is prefect." Zeltrax scoffed, pointing his sword at Tommy. "Give up and I call him off, or take your chances with me?"
"You know what I choose, guys?" Tommy asked his students.
"Right." they all said, holding their fists up.
They all ran off, then Tommy put his morpher to his mouth.
"Brachio!" he shouted.
The Brachiozord roared and arrived on the scene, then it stopped, and then its three hatches opened up. The Tyrannozord jumped out from its hatch, then turned and ran off, followed by the Camptozord, as the Pterazord flew out of its hatch. The Brachiozord lowered its neck, as the Tricerazord began to walk down it, then all four Dinozords ran/flew towards Termitetron, roaring as they did.
The screen split into four, from left to right, Mei, Ethan, Conner, Kira, as they turned and crossed their forearms over, entering their Dinozords.
The Tyrannozord roared and spun around, smashing a rock with its drill tail as it did, then it stood on its legs, while moving its head 90 degrees to its left, while lowering the leg arm and tail. The Tricerazord ran forward and jumped up, then twirled around and attached itself to the right side. The Camptozord roared and jumped up, lowering its head slightly, then attached itself to the back, wrapping its legs around the waist. A head popped up from the top, then it ran forward and jumped up, as the Pterazord split up, with its feet and butt detaching from the rest of it. Its wings folded in and went beneath the Tyrannozord's head, as the feet and butt turned into the helmet, which went onto the head, forming the Thundersaurus Megazord.
"Nice hardware." Termitetron joked, jumping up. "I'm think I'll eat it."
He dived towards the Thundersaurus Megazord, then rammed it with his head, making it stumble back as it held him.
"We could use some bug spray." Conner said.
"This annoying pest needs a good swat!" Kira agreed, holding her fist up.
The Thundersaurus Megazord spun around and threw Termitetron away.
"OHHH!" he yelled.
He landed on his feet and turned around.
"My turn!" he roared.
On the ground, Tommy brought out his staff.
"Brachio Staff!" he shouted.
He and Zeltrax both jumped and dived towards each other, punching each other as they shot past each other. They landed near each other, then turned around and slashed their blades together, then Tommy blocked a kick with his hand, then Zeltrax ducked and ran past Tommy, who tried to slash him. They turned to each other, then jumped up with their weapons locked together, then they slashed them together three times, before they spun around and dived towards the ground. They both landed on their feet and stared at each other.
"I'm getting pretty sick of meeting like this." Tommy said. "I wish you'd just tell me what it is you have against me?"
"Does the name Terrance Smith mean anything to you?" Zeltrax asked.
(Flashback)
Tommy and Kira stare at the photo of himself, Anton and Smitty in the Dino Lab.
(Flashback ends)
"Smitty?" Tommy gasped.
Zeltrax charged at him and slashed him twice down the chest.
"AH!" Tommy moaned.
He blocked Zeltrax's sword with his staff as Zeltrax tried again, then they both lowered their weapons while keeping them locked, then they slashed their weapons together twice more. They locked them together, then Tommy hit Zeltrax's belly with the butt of his staff.
"Oh!" Zeltrax moaned.
He slashed Tommy twice down the chest, knocking him away into a pile of crates and boxes.
"OH!" he moaned.
Zeltrax stared at him, as he pulled himself up, shocked by what he'd found out.
"Smitty? But you were lost, in that accident?" Tommy recalled.
"I was on the verge of a breakthrough..." Zeltrax explained.
(Flashback)
Smitty stood in a lab, picking up a vial with a pair of tongs.
"...when it all went wrong."
He accidently dropped the vial, shocking him, creating an explosion which sent him flying away. He lay in the lab, barely alive as the place was on fire, when Mesagog found him, who touched his hand.
"Mesagog found me and put me back together again. He's a genius with cybernetic reconstruction."
(Flashback ends)
"Oh, man! Smitty." Tommy sighed.
Zeltrax charged at them, then they slashed their weapons together twice, then Tommy ducked under a slash, before they locked their weapons together.
"Genius or not, he's the enemy!" Tommy grunted. "You shouldn't be fighting for him!"
"He gave me life! Life you stole from me, and now you will repay it with your own!" Zeltrax said coldly.
He pulled his sword back, then slashed Tommy's staff with it, making Tommy spin around, allowing him to dodge another slash, then Zeltrax spun around and tried again, but Tommy blocked it. Tommy then dodged as Zeltrax tried again, who then spun around to kick him, then they slashed their weapons together four times.
"Don't do this, Smitty?" Tommy asked, locking their weapons together. "Revenge is never the answer!"
Zeltrax broke free, then tried to slash Tommy, but missed as he dodged.
"It is all that has kept me going!" he growled, as they slashed their weapons together twice.
He kicked Tommy's chest, knocking him away.
"AHHH!" Tommy moaned, hitting a pile of boxes.
"Revenge is mine!" Zeltrax declared.
"My advice, is find another hobby." Tommy said, getting up.
He chared at Zeltrax, who powered up his sword.
"Fire!" he shouted, pointing it forward.
Tommy deflected two blasts away with his staff, hitting several barrels behind him, then he jumped and dived down, kicking Zeltrax away with both feet.
"AHH!" he moaned, hitting some barrels.
Tommy landed on his feet, as Zeltrax pulled himself up.
"Give it up, Zeltrax?" Tommy advised.
"Never!" Zeltrax retorted.
"I hate to do this, Smitty. Dino Energy Orb!" Tommy shouted, getting up, holding his staff sideways.
He twirled it around in a circle, creating the orb.
"Fire!" he shouted.
He slashed his staff to his right, sending the orb at Zeltrax, which hit him all over.
"OH! AHHH!" he moaned.
An explosion went off behind him, shattering the orb, making Zeltrax fall onto his chest.
"AHHHH!" he moaned.
"Had enough?" Tommy asked.
Zeltrax pulled himself up. "I'll be back." he vowed. "I promise you that."
He jumped up and vanished via an Invisiportal.
"Smitty?" Tommy said, still shocked by this news. "Man!"
The Thundersaurus Megazord rammed Termitetron as he stood near a building, pushing him away as it grappled him.
"AHH!" he groaned.
"Let's dynamite this termite." Conner said, punching his fist out.
The Thundersaurus Megazord threw Termitetron to its left.
"AH!" he yelped.
He steadied himself near a building.
"Dino Drill!" Conner shouted.
The Thundersaurus Megazord jumped up, then raised its drill arm up, which spun around. It then shot down and flew towards Termitetron, before it shot its drill right though him.
"AH!" he moaned.
The Thundersaurus Megazord landed on the ground behind him, then turned around, as lighting came out of him.
"AHH!" he moaned.
He fell onto his chest and blew up.
In Mesagog's lab, Zeltrax stood by Mesagog's throne, as Trent approached him.
"So, we didn't win." Trent said. "That still doesn't mean we still can't be friends."
"That's precisely what it means." Zeltrax argued.
"Fine. Don't say I didn't warn you." Trent said.
Mesagosg's Psionic beams hit his head, as Mesagog stood in the doorway behind him.
"AH!" Trent moaned, touching his head.
He turned around and stared at Mesagog.
"It's never easy for a father to punish his son." Mesagog said, as he stopped.
"Ah! Ah! You know?" Trent asked, lowering his left hand.
"As do you." Mesagog said, approaching him. "So, now we're all in on it, the only question remaining is: Who's side are you on?"
He hissed into Trent's ear.
"Yes, Trent." he said.
Trent turned around as Mesagog approached Zeltrax.
"Zeltrax told me of your agreement from the start." Mesagog said. "Loyalty is a most valued asset in this regime. An asset you have yet to demonstrate."
"You can't take the word of a stranger over the word of your son. I'm with you, Dad, all the way." Trent swore.
"You had better be. Family or not, no one gets in my way." Mesagog warned.
Trent stared at him as he turned around and walked off.
At Reefside High, Derrick stood in the soccer field with other students, including Kira, Cassidy and Devin, when Conner, Ethan and Mei all approached them.
"Are you sure you wanna do this?" Conner asked. "I mean, the guy's a jerk."
"Ethan, you can still back out." Mei said.
"Would you guys just please trust me, for once?" Ethan asked.
They all stopped in front of Derrick as Conner and Mei sighed.
"Out of my way, McKnight. You too, Chang." Derrick said. "This is between me and the geek here."
Conner and Mei turned to Ethan, then moved off towards the other students.
"Okay, here's the deal. I could fight you, but what would that prove? Instead, I'd like to make you a propositions?" Ethan asked.
"You're bailing?" Derrick scoffed.
"I think I can improve your game." Ethan said, as Derrick folded his arms. "If I do, you promise to back off me and my friends? My L.T please?"
Ethan's friends came over to him, then one of the boys handed him his laptop. He began to type on it, as Derrick watched.
"This is a computer image of you kicking." he explained. "I super-imposed it against a pro player from Manchester."
The Manchester player kicked the ball away, followed by Derrick.
"How'd you do that?" Derrick asked.
"I'm a computer geek, remember?" Ethan said.
"Oh, yeah." Derrick said.
"Look, see where you're blowing it? It's just that one little hitch in your kick." Ethan explained.
Derrick kicked the ball away in slow motion.
Derrick put his hand on his chin, thinking about what Ethan said.
A little later, the goalie was in the goal, clapping his gloved hands, before spitting and rubbing them. Ethan put a soccer ball down in front of Derrick, as everyone else watched.
"Yeah." a boy said.
More talked quietly amongst themselves, when Derrick ran forward and kicked the ball. It shot to the top right corner of the goal as the goalie dived for it, but missed as it went into the net.
"OH!" several girls said.
"Wow. He did it." one said, as the goalie hit the grass.
Derrick smiled, impressed.
"Yeah!" two girls said.
"I can't believe it worked." Derrick said.
"I told ya." Ethan said.
"Where'd you learn how to do that?" Derrick asked.
"The net. Well, the internet that is." Ethan explained.
"Yeah, it's pretty cool. And I'm sorry about... about before." Derrick said, as people began to leave. "I just thought, you know, a guy like you - you know, so smart and all - wouldn't want to talk to a guy like me. I guess I was wrong."
"It's a brave new world out there, my friend." Ethan said, patting his arm.
Conner, Kira and Mei all came up around him. (Mei was on Kira's right)
"Oh, yeah." Conner said, patting his shoulder.
"You said it." Mei said.
"Let's go." Kira said.
The four of them all walked off.
"Yeah, all right!" Ethan said.
His three friends chuckled as Derrick turned and walked off.
