Author's Note: This is my first story for the anime Naruto. I am super excited to write it, because I do love watching this show. I do hope you all enjoy it, and please be sure to leave constructive criticism and feedback.

Chapter 1

Naruto is walking along the hidden path. It is a special path near the forest, that is only served for Konohagakure residents, as Naruto is walking through the forest. He spots something a little bit scary.

He looks at the monster and realizes it's the nine tailed fox. He runs and screams, as he is running. He notices someone looking at him, it is Lady Tsunade. Who is very mad at Naruto.

The kid kept on running, but when he stopped he was faced with trouble. He was also in trouble too. For going into the hidden forest. That could possibly be his death.

He knows it is not for him, and he knows not to do it again. So the reason why he went in anyway, is against him. As he went back to the village, he saw Sasuke and Sakura kissing.

It was a sight he never meant to see, and a sight that he doesn't want to see again. He doesn't like Sakura, he likes Hinata. The brave girl with a big heart. He goes over to find her weeding.

He also sees her doing crops, he looks at her and smiles. "Hey, Hinata. What are you doing?" Hinata is shy, so she only looks at Naruto. She does not want to make him embarrassed.

"Oh, nothing….I was just weeding some plants." She said, Naruto laughed and noticed she was holding something.

"Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine…Why do you ask?"

"Because, you look nervous."

"I am not nervous."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Oh."

"Ok."

"I'll see you soon."

"I'll see you soon as well."

Naruto went back to his house and noticed it was locked. He did not know why it was locked, and he didn't think that he forgot to unlock the door as he was coming in. He noticed the lights were off.

And certain things were moved—This could be the sign of someone else moving into his house, he did not want to think about who it could be. But he did think about why.

Ever since the Shinobi War ended, residents had to pay extra for their lights and electricity. If they didn't, they would be evicted. Maybe that's what happened to Naruto.

But he didn't want to think about that, the only thing he wanted to think about right now. Was Hinata. The sweet girl that he loves, and the sweet girl that wouldn't hurt a fly.

'I wonder what happened.' He thought as he saw his house in complete darkness, no lights were turned on. And nothing was working when he went in, but the only light he saw.

Was from his bedroom. He went in there and noticed a note that was written by Hinata. But something felt wrong about this, and something felt wrong about the situation.

But he read the note, and was shocked.

Dear Naruto,

I know this may come to a shock…But I love you, more than you could ever know. I want to be with you, and I want to live my life with you. Every single day I think about how we can become closer as friends.

And how we can become a couple someday. I really want that to happen. And I really want us to bond together, the only thing I ask of you, is that you are not as crazy as you normally are.

I do not want a crazy husband. So, can you please accept my note? And can you please accept my wishes?

Hinata

The tears in Naruto's eyes were way more than when he failed the chunin exam, he did not want to have Hinata lonely and he did not want to make her mad. All he wanted was to tell her, how he was feeling.

He went over to where she was, and got on his knee. He was not going to marry her, but he was going to say how much he loved her, and this is how people do it in the village.

They get on one knee and say what they feel.

"Hinata. Will you…Be my girlfriend?"

"Yes! Naruto! I will!"

They both kissed, and allowed the sunset to show on this beautiful moment. That will be remembered.
