A/N: I do hope you all are enjoying this story. I do have some plans for 2023, I am going to make my chapters longer and my stories more readable. I am also going to plan on doing more chapter stories, along with more oneshots.

Chapter 2

"Alright Naruto, you can do this." Naruto said to himself as he walked out of the house, today he was going to tell Hinata how he felt about her. And it was going to be a good time…He was going to confess, and he was going to tell her how he felt.

He was really nervous about it, mainly because he did not know how she would react to him falling in love with her. He did see the note a few days earlier, but this is different than some note.

This is the real thing, the moment that changes everything. Naruto walks over and sees Hinata by a bridge. She is still and excited, suddenly, Naruto comes over to her and asks her if she is okay.

"Is everything okay? Hinata?" He asked.

"Yes, Naruto, everything is fine. I was just waiting for…you."

"Me?"

"Did you get my note?"

"I sure did, and I loved it."

"I was wondering if you wanted to be my girlfriend?"

"Really?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

"Because you are smart and funny, and you are also the best friend anyone could ever ask for."

"Wow."

Naruto felt shocked. He did not know how to react, he didn't know if he should cry of happiness or dance around and say thank you. He just said thank you and did nothing else.

He loves Hinata, and he wants her to know that. This is why it's the perfect time, because it is almost Christmas in Konohagakure. Naruto is really excited for it.

Especially now that he has a girlfriend to celebrate it with. He is so looking forward to the mistletoe part.

When he can kiss her, and make the night end faster…That kiss will take everyone's breath away.

Including Naruto's.

Later on in the day, he is walking around. When all of a sudden he sees Sasuke and Sakura arguing. They seem to be really mad, but he still manages to get close.

They seem to be arguing about sleeping with someone? Naruto's eyes widened as he heard Sakura yell. He has never heard her yell like that before.

Something felt different about this though, all the times Sakura wanted to be with Sasuke. He refused. Now they are a couple, and they are arguing.

Something Naruto hopes he and Hinata don't have to do. I wonder what happened? He thought as he listened in closer. He could hear a little bit of what they were saying. Until the worst thing came in. Sakura put the middle finger at Sasuke, and almost yelled.

"YOU LITTLE BITCH! I CAN'T BELIEVE I EVER WANTED TO DATE YOU!"

"Sakura…How…could you?"

"I can do what I want."

"How?"

"Because I can, now go and run along…"

"But."

"Just go!"

"Fine."

Sasuke seemed really upset as he left, Sakura didn't know how to handle it. So she cried, and cried. It felt like a million tears burning in her eyes, Naruto came over to comfort her.

It was a bad idea, he made Sakura so mad. She even threw something at him. This was his breaking point, he got out and allowed Sakura to talk. But he told her about his relationship with Hinata.

"I am in love with someone too—Their name is Hinata. And I love her so much. She makes me happy, and she makes me feel good about myself. So, if Sasuke wasn't what you expected him to be. Take it from me, and find a better boy."

Sakura wasn't mad nor happy, she just felt…relief. Relief that someone could understand her, and relief that Naruto was actually understanding things.

Because in the past he would just make a whole joke out of this. And that would make Hinata very mad. But, Naruto is growing up, and soon he could be a hokage.

Flashback

Naruto is in training with Hinata. This is something he must do before, he can get accepted into the academy. He is battling her in a one on one combat, the winner gets to go into the academy first.

Naruto has almost beat Hinata, but Hinata is making it so she beats Naruto. Because this competition is fierce.

"You think you can beat me Naruto?" Hinata asked.

"Wow, turned into a real tough girl."

"I know."

"What do you mean?"

"I am a tough girl, I can kick you in the ass with just one punch."

"But will you?"

"Hu?"

"Will you beat me in my favorite jitsu ever?"

"No."

"Good."

Hinata and Naruto kept on fighting, then the sensi let them stop. He said that Naruto got to go in first.

End of flashback

Hinata was thinking about that memory, she did not like that Naruto won. But she was happy for him.

And she still is.
