Waking up in a theatre was not what anyone expected when they went to bed that night. Waking up to see many people they didn't know or hadn't seen in a while was never expected.
"What's going on?" A boy with brown curly hair says from beside Tony Stark. Tony steps before him, ready for anything, hoping he is. This boy is Peter Parker.
"I don't know, kid, but I don't like the look of this." This person was Tony Stark, one of the crucial people in the room today.
Stephen Strange stood up hesitantly. "What the hell is this? Wong, do you know where we are? And more specifically, why?"
Wong shakes his head, letting everyone else in the room know who Wong is. "I have no clue, Stephen. Though, I have a theory. Glow, Multiversal being?" He asks towards the ceiling.
A hooded being with blue and red marbled hair floats down from the ceiling. "Yes, I apologize for taking you, but I felt this was the better time to take you from."
"What's that supposed to mean?" Wanda asks with red swirling around her hands. Everyone else has at least one weapon out, aimed at Glow. That is besides Stephen and Wong.
"Those won't do anything to me. So many people have attacked me with weapons, magic, and abilities. Those aren't even the strongest that you could have had." They respond.
"They're a multiversal being they've seen and, as they've said, been attacked by many of our counterparts before," Stephen tells the still-aiming Avengers. "What are we here for?"
They can see their face turn into small smiles. "Did you know that you, Dr. Stephen Strange, and Tony Stark are related?"
Tony gaps. "What?"
"Yes, your great grandfather and Stephen's birth father were related. Stephen would have still contained the last name Holmes had the Stranges didn't adopt him".
Everyone is so shocked by the mention of the infamous Holmes family name that they lower their weapons, or in Wanda's and Loki's case. Their magic. Loki has yet to notice anyone besides Thor, Bruce, and Valkyrie, though.
"I brought you here to see the lives of Tony's great-grandfather, Sherlock Holmes, and Stephen's father and uncle, Mycroft II and Sherlock II. Before you ask, the time has stopped outside of this building." They say hopefully.
"Why should we watch these exactly?" Natasha asks.
"Well, it would be nice for Tony and Stephen to know who their relatives are and what they do. Also, they can see who they got their intelligence from."
"What do you mean by that? We know Tony got his intelligence from Howard." Steve Rogers scoffs a bit at what Glow said.
A buzzer goes off, clearly showing that that was the wrong answer. "Wrong, Howard might have been smart, but he was no Holmes. Tony got his intelligence from his mother, a Holmes. Now, take a seat. We will begin shortly."
"We didn't agree to this!" Clint shouts at Glows back.
They turn back to face him, tilting their head to the side. "No, maybe not. But how do you expect to get out of here when I won't let you go until you've seen Sherlock and Sherlock II?"
Everyone grows quiet at that statement. That is before Thor, Loki, and Valkyrie step forwards and kneel before the being. Again, everyone is shocked into silence. Not only is the maniacal god who tried to kill them kneeling before someone, but Thor is as well… Just how powerful is this being in front of them…
"Glow, if we are to stay here for a while, I'd like to ask a question before we begin," Thor states kindly.
They smile, "Of course, Thor. Go ahead."
"How fair the people of Asgard?" All three ask at the same time, all wearing worried expressions.
"They will be fine, remember? Times stopped here until you leave."
The three bow their heads, "Thank you, Glow." They then stand and head to a few seats, Bruce going over and sitting between Valkyrie and Loki.
Seeing the four accept what is going on, the rest soon follow, getting a seat next to their friends.
"Now, we shall begin with Tony's great-grandfather," Glow says, waving their hand toward the screen. Said screen turns on and starts displaying Sherlock Holmes.
