Finn huffed in annoyance. Dust kicked up from where he was walking on the carpet, making his nose itch. Shadows danced along the walls from the torchlight, highlighting the emptiness in the long-forgotten hallway. Finn took a deep breath, dry air filling his lungs, as well as dust.

"Couldn't we have come later?" He asked Rey in between coughs.

Rey, the former scavenger, now the only Jedi left, paused in her tracks a few steps in front of her companion.

Rey wasn't entirely sure if she would consider herself a Jedi as such. Since the Battle of Exegol five years ago, she had taken it upon herself to learn the ways of the Force as her own training had been far from complete. Sure, by the time of Exegol and the events happening then, she was prepared. But now? Rey knew the path she wanted for the future Jedi but herself… It was an unknown and entirely up to her in which direction she would take it. She wanted to be prepared for whatever the future threw at her.

After the Battle of Exegol, when things had calmed down slightly in the galaxy and in the waning months of the First Order-Resistance conflict, Finn had approached Rey about being Force-sensitive. Rey had eagerly decided to take Finn on as a... student wasn't the right term, seeing as she didn't know a whole lot herself. That's when Rey knew her next step regarding her story with the continuing story of the Jedi. There were still things she had to work out, but Rey was eager to share her idea with Poe and Finn and to get started on it.

However, Rey didn't want to be wholly associated with rebuilding the Jedi. She wanted to be more than just a Jedi. But she was no longer a scavenger, an orphan, or a resistance fighter. Maybe she was a teacher; a guiding light for others?

Rey shook her head, clearing her thoughts. Her wants, wishes, and doubts all seemed to contradict each other.

"We only have a small amount of time to look around. I'm not going to waste it," Rey answered, continuing to walk, and not bothering to wait if Finn caught up.

Finn glared at her for a second before sighing and following behind her. "I know, I know."

The pair continued their way through the hallway until they reached the end where a wide set of steps greeted them. Rey and Finn paused at the top, looking down. The light of their torches soon hit the bottom. Cold air wafted towards them and it was remarkable that they had not felt how cold it was. The Force said nothing about what was down there. In fact, the Force within the Temple on Coruscant was somewhat oddly neutral. Odd, considering the fact that for thousands of years it had been bathed in the Light from the Jedi and the decades being consumed with the Darkside from the Sith.

"Well, whatever we're looking for, it's down there," Rey said.

"What makes you so sure?"

Rey raised an eyebrow at Finn.

"Right, scavenger, never mind," Finn mumbled before walking down the steps.

Rey followed him a few seconds later, a smile on her face. As she reached out into the Force, her smile quickly disappeared.

The Old Jedi Temple felt so cold. It saddened her. Rey could only imagine what it was like all those years ago when the Jedi lived here. If her plan were to go ahead, then this place would not be so cold. It could be filled with Light once again and not left to collect dust and eventually get torn down.

When Finn and Rey had arrived on Coruscant, they had spent a few days walking around, actually trying to find the Temple. They knew where it was; even after all these years it still stood out on the city planet. It was just a matter of where the entrance was. While they had been making their way there, they had asked locals what they thought of the Temple.

Despite everything, the vast majority of sentients they spoke to talked about the Temple with pride, reverence, and hope. However, there was a group that wanted the Temple taken down, arguing that it stood for ideals that "Had destroyed the galaxy". Many had reassured Rey and Finn that those were only a minority, but the pair were still worried.

According to Rose, the Temple couldn't actually be taken down for one reason or another. When they asked why, Rose just laughed and told them that they did not want to open that can of worms.

Rey and Finn continued down the hallway. Apparently, this led to archives deep below the Temple. Though, according to the Force Ghost that had provided this information, they were less of archives and were more akin to various storage rooms. He had not even been completely sure if there was anything down there but as part of Rey's plan, she needed to know. Even if there wasn't anything, the trip wouldn't have been a complete waste as the empty Temple only fuelled Rey to begin her mission.

After Rey had taken Finn as her learning partner, she felt as though her path became more clear. She often talked to the Force Ghosts of her old Masters, Luke and Leia. They had made it explicitly clear that they were only there to guide her, to which Rey rolled her eyes in good nature.

Rey asked about the Jedi of old and what they believed. To that, she got her answer in the form of Luke's second teacher and the previous Jedi Grandmaster, Yoda. He explained (with Luke translating every so often) some of the Old Order. Though not everything and that "Tell you more, I will. Later. A student you have. Hmm? Neglecting him, are you?".

To be completely honest, Rey had not been expecting such a wise being to be… cheeky. She looked at Luke, shock evident on her face. To which Luke just laughed and disappeared.

Part of her plan was to find out more about the old Jedi Order. Find out where they went wrong. Coupled with what led Ben Solo to the Darkside and the Ancient Jedi Texts, Rey figured that the way to go was to return to what the Jedi had been at first; their life with the Force in the early times of an inter-connected galaxy. And to teach the failures of the ones before her.

Rey was not sure how to approach the topic of Ben Solo and Kylo Ren. Why was the easy part, but it hurt every time she thought about him. To see him, finally at peace with himself only to fade away in both the Force and the physical world… It was as if a part of her had left with him.

One way to learn of the Old Jedi, as the Ghosts proved to be stubbornly adamant in not telling her much, was to explore the old Temples. Finn and Rey had been traveling to the ones they could, which were few and far between as they both still had a duty to the wider galaxy.

This was one such time they were able to.

They were on a planet; the name having been forgotten by both of them as it had been depressingly long. Over fifty characters long and no one had ever bothered to shorten it. So while they explored the old Jedi Temple, they got a visit from another Force Ghost.

"If you're looking for an artifact, you won't find one here," a voice spoke out from the darkness.

Rey had calmly turned around and Finn jumped a foot into the air. Rey looked at Finn, who looked like he had seen a ghost. She turned back to the ghost. Rey and the ghost laughed, with Finn glaring between the two.

"And who are you supposed to be?" Finn demanded.

The ghost was a human male, quite old. He wore different attire than that of Luke and Leia's Force Ghosts but still had the same shimmering blue outline.

"Master Obi-Wan Kenobi. I see you're doing well young Rey," Obi-Wan said, nodding slightly in Rey's direction.

Now it was Rey's turn to be shocked, "You… You were the one to… To talk to me…"

"After you'd touched Luke's old lightsaber?"

Rey nodded quickly.

Obi-Wan walked over to where they were standing and looked at what they had been investigating.

"It's a rock."

Finn frowned, "I'm sorry?"

Obi-Wan pointed at the object, sitting on a moss-covered slab. "It's a rock. No more sensitive to the Force than that rock over there. Or that one. Now that I think of it, I don't think the Force has ever had much presence here."

"But… But… Luke said… He told me that it was once highly important to the Jedi!" Rey said, shock dripping in her voice.

Obi-Wan turned to face Rey, an eyebrow raised. "He did? I can't believe he actually went through with it…" The Force Ghost didn't elaborate any further. "Anyway, if you're looking for old Jedi artifacts, go to the Temple on Coruscant."

"We've been trying to, but there's been no time," Finn explained.

Obi-Wan looked thoughtful. "Well, when you eventually get there, do you mind doing us a favor?"

"Depends on what it is," Rey said.

"Oh, don't worry about getting distracted from your current mission. In fact, it's related. My old padawan Anakin Skywalker often remarked when he was younger that the Jedi Temple felt cold. After his… death, I guess he went to find out why exactly. According to him, there's a Sith artifact under there."

The slight hesitation at mentioning Anakin's death did not escape Finn or Rey, but they did not comment.

Rey felt her mood drop momentarily. She had asked Luke and Leia if she could call herself a Skywalker. After all, her bloodline could easily be traced to the monster who brought the galaxy into its current state. The one who had caused the Skywalkers immense pain and loss. They had assured her that they were fine with it. If Rey decided that it didn't feel right, then they were fine with that choice as well. Rey had asked what their father would think. Leia stayed quiet on the matter, allowing her brother to answer. Eventually, Luke answered that he wasn't sure, but he could imagine Anakin being neither here nor there about the matter.

That had been five years ago and Rey still hadn't met Anakin. She wanted to. Wanted to get to know the man who went to the ends of the galaxy to protect the ones he loved. She had once asked Luke why Anakin had never made an appearance, to which her answer came in the form of a shrug. The answer was complicated apparently.

Finn's slightly panicked voice brought Rey out her musings.

"Wait. Let me get this straight. You want us, two barely trained Force-users to investigate a possible Sith artifact? You're crazy!"

"Finn. Trust me. This isn't the most reckless thing I've ever seen someone undertake. Not even in the top fifty. What's the worst that could happen?"

"I'm not going to answer that."

"I agree with Obi-Wan. Next stop: Coruscant," Rey declared.

That's how Rey and Finn ended up in their current situation. Obi-Wan had accompanied them but as they neared Coruscant, the ghost disappeared without a word.

Finn stopped and pointed at a door.

"This one."

"You sure?" Rey asked.

Finn lifted an eyebrow, saying, "You can't feel it? There's something in there that is very loud in the Force."

Rey reached out into the Force. He was right; behind the door was a large presence of something in the Force. It was neither Light nor Dark nor neutral. A combination of all three and more.

Finn reached to the door handle and slid it open, the lock long since eroded. The door rolled to the side, the slider hitting every bump on the ground. The clattering noise shattered the silence in a way that Finn and Rey's talking had not. Said people shone their torches into the room before carefully stepping inside.

Similarly to the rest of the Temple, this particular room was very plain. Nothing hung on the walls and nothing had been left on the floor. The lightbulb hung on the roof, smashed. Despite nothing extra being in the room, it smelt musky and dust lingered in the air. There was only one thing in the room and it was situated in the very middle of the back wall. It had been placed on a large, low block of marble but the object barely covered half of the top.

The object in itself didn't have much to note about it. It was an inky black rectangle, relatively thin and speckled with little white dots. Along the side ran a simple bronze criss-cross pattern neatly placed between two other bronze lines. As the pair got closer, the object's presence got clearer.

Well, clearer would be a… loose term. As they had felt before, the object was neither Light nor Dark nor neutral. Somehow a combination of all three. It had a presence that was both startling familiar, yet so foreign at the same time. The presence seemed to permeate its very surroundings as dust floated towards it like a whirlpool. It was both recent and ancient. The past, future, and present seemed to converge and flow past each other, like sentients passing through on opposite sides.

Rey and Finn walked right up to it and stared at it. A few seconds passed before Finn spoke.

"You pick it up."

"I'm sorry?"

Finn pointed to the object. "I don't think this is that Sith artifact, but it has a strange Force signature. I'm not risking it. Besides, you're more experienced with Force stuff."

"Uh, yeah, but you're my student, remember? You need to be able to do this sort of thing yourself."

"I've been your student for only a year! Compared to your… what? Five, six years of experience?"

"You get me to take any artifacts we come across! Come on, it's finally your turn," Rey argued.

"No. No, no, absolutely not. I am not going to be the one to touch an object that has such a strange Force presence. Besides, you said I was more of a learning partner, not a student."

"You need to bring your confidence up with the Force."

"You killed a Sith!"

"Yeah, with help of all the old Jedi!"

While the two continued to argue over who would take the object, the Force Ghosts of Obi-Wan and Yoda watched them. Luke joined them a few seconds later and sighed at the sight.

"I take it they're arguing again?" He asked, pinching the end of his nose.

"Yes," Came Obi-Wan's response. "Though such a thing couldn't possibly have been you're doing."

"What do you mean?" Luke asked, crossing his arms. "I have been nothing but an exemplary student and teacher. I have never—and would never—encourage this arguing."

"Uh-huh. What about when they were at the Lothal Temple? Or when Rey was collecting her kyber crystal? Don't look at me like that, I know it was you who caused that misunderstanding. Deliberately."

Yoda sighed. Somehow he had not just one pair of arguing young people but two pairs. Where had he gone wrong to deserve this? Was this his punishment for living nine hundred years in relative peace? This whole "Force Ghost" business was overrated. Unfortunately, as Yoda had discovered, it was a very difficult thing to get rid of.

Yoda raised a hand. Obi-Wan and Luke's arguing was cut short by two loud, sharp yelps. They turned quickly to see Rey and Finn fall onto the artifact. A blinding white brightened the room and even though they were dead, the three Force Ghosts covered their eyes. The air screeched around them as whatever was happening also affected it.

A couple of seconds later, the light subsided and the wind stopped. Instead of the bright lights of Rey and Finn's torches, the room was only illuminated by the blue glow of the three Force Ghosts. There was no sign of Rey or Finn, in either the physical world or their presence in the Force. They had simply vanished.

"What… What just happened?" Luke asked after a minute of silence.

"Annoying, the four of you were being. Hear myself think, I could not. Silence, I have now gotten. First time in decades."

Obi-Wan stared into the space the two living semi-Jedi had once occupied. He didn't focus on anything in particular.

"Do you know what happened to Rey and Finn?" Obi-Wan eventually asked.

Yoda shook his head. "Find them, we will. Eventually. Enjoy the peace, we shall."

Rey's ability to sense the Force returned to her faster than her consciousness. Only by a few seconds. However, since it was first, it was the first thing she took notice of.

Therefore, it was only natural that the first thing she sensed was the sheer, overwhelming amount of Force sensitives around her. So many. And all of them were so deeply rooted in the Light that it shocked Rey into opening her eyes. But she still couldn't concentrate on anything and had to immediately squeeze her eyes tightly shut again. The number of presences that Rey could see in the Force was blinding and she could feel a headache coming on. Rey clenched her mouth tight and eyes even tighter before slowly undoing it.

The headache didn't go away, but it did subside a little. Just enough that Rey could open her eyes and take in her other senses without being so overwhelmed.

She opened her eyes and the first thing Rey noticed was the fact that she was no longer in the deep, below-basement levels of the Jedi Temple. No longer in the room with the strange object and dusty room. No dust filled Rey's lungs which seemed odd considering how close she was to the carpet. Granted, there were hundreds of Force presences around her which was odd in itself. That's when Rey noticed Finn.

"Finn!" Rey coughed out, her throat dry. Still, she was relieved to find her friend safe and with her. She crawled over and found Finn also waking up. "Finn, are you ok?"

He nodded, placing a hand near his head.

He's probably having a similar headache to me, Rey thought. At that, her own headache pulsed.

Finn looked at Rey, about to say something but something made him stop short. Rey frowned.

"Finn? What's wrong?"

All Finn did in response was to point behind her with a slight nod. Rey followed his gaze only to be greeted by a green lightsaber blade. Following the blade to its owner, Rey discovered that the blade belonged to a young female Togruta. Another lightsaber blade, green-yellow in color, was bent behind her at her side.

Rey stood up fast, not expecting a lightsaber in her face. Which soon proved to be a bad idea as the headache caused Rey to lose her balance slightly as she became dizzy. However, she kept a cautious hand on her own lightsaber clipped to her belt. Finn stood up behind Rey, slower and therefore not having to deal with any dizziness.

"Who are you and how did you get here?" Another voice demanded.

Rey and Finn's eyes drifted over to the source of the voice. A shiny blue lightsaber was also pointed towards them in the gloved hand of a young human male. The two semi-Jedi just kept their mouths dropped, at a loss for words.

"So… Sorry… I mean, we can explain but we don't… don't entirely know where we are," Finn said, trying his best to sound as diplomatic as possible. He couldn't help but feel the need to be ready to pull Rey away should a fight break out. Something in his gut told Finn that they would not make it out alive in that sort of situation.

The two Jedi looked at each other, an eyebrow raised and in some sort of silent communication.

"Can Jedi communicate telepathically?" Finn whispered to Rey.

"I don't think—"

"Yes," the Togruta said, having heard them. She had a small smile, and Finn couldn't tell if she was being serious or pulling their leg.

The male Jedi sighed and depowered his lightsaber. He clipped it to his belt and Rey couldn't help getting a glance at the hilt. It struck a chord within her as being familiar, but she didn't know where. The Togruta soon followed.

"I don't know why I'm trusting your word. You're two strangers who caused a large disturbance in the Force and your sudden appearance here is questionable but…"

"I feel it too," the Togruta said. She gave a genuine smile. "Why don't we take you to the Council and you explain your case? I'm sure they're equally as curious."

Finn glanced at Rey, who was peering at the two Jedi.

"Uh, Rey?"

"Hm?" She snapped her head back towards Finn.

"They just asked if we wanted to see the… Council?" Finn turned towards the two Jedi in question.

The male sighed again, "The Jedi Council."

There was a beat of silence

"There was a Jedi Council?! They never told me that!" Rey exclaimed.

The two Jedi look at each other, confused. What did this mysterious intruder mean by "was"? Nevertheless, this only confirmed their suspicions that these two should see the Jedi Council. And possibly some Healers. Their Force Signatures appeared to be fractured and dimmed. Barely trained but strong in the Force. But… who trained them? They were fully grown adults, so unless their training was incomplete for whatever reason, they weren't Jedi. They definitely weren't Temple-raised Jedi. And why was their signature seemingly fractured? Had they been exposed to something terrible, possibly Sith-related?

"Uh... Just… Just follow us. And don't try anything that we would think would be suspicious," the male said.

Rey and Finn gave a standard Resistance salute, the two Jedi not recognizing it. This made them frown but figured that they were from a planet with different military protocols than the Republic and its military.

The two semi-Jedi followed the professionals through the Coruscant Temple. Both of their headaches had subsided and both marveled at the amount of Jedi in their presence. They passed masters and knights, each hurrying to perform their various duties and they briefly watched as a padawan talked to a group of younglings. Though she didn't understand the reason behind the braid, Rey figured that judging from the length, this particular padawan was close to being made a knight.

"Just out of curiosity, what year is it?" Finn asked, as innocently as he could.

The Jedi looked beside them, as they flanked Rey and Finn. Again, an eyebrow was raised.

"1020 ARR," The male said.

The year was lost on Rey and Finn. Many changes within the central galactic government meant that there had also been many changes with calendars.

The male Jedi sensed their confusion in the Force.

"After Ruusan Reformation," he clarified.

"If it's any help, the Clone Wars started just under a year ago," the female Togruta added.

That made Finn and Rey pause. Though Rey was quicker to recover, Finn stayed behind a bit longer. Weren't… weren't young Jedi conscripted into the Clone Army? As commanders? He couldn't quite remember the details but it did make him shudder.

Eventually, the group of four made it to the Council chambers. The Togruta opted to wait outside while the male human went in with Rey and Finn. Assembled inside were twelve council members sitting in a ring by the walls, some physically present and others by hologram. Gazing out the window, Rey and Finn got a slight dizzying feeling from watching the speeders far from the nearly floor-to-ceiling windows. Fortunately, it didn't last very long and was soon to subside. Both of their eyes flickered over to the Jedi present. None of the Jedi Council looked familiar except for Yoda and Obi-Wan Kenobi. Finn and Rey almost double-backed seeing the human Jedi Master. But they didn't, and no one commented.

"So you're the cause for the disturbance in the Force?" A Korun Jedi asked.

Rey and Finn both nodded.

"How did you get into the Temple?" Asked a Kal Dorian Jedi.

The two semi-Jedi didn't say anything for a few seconds.

"Honestly… we're not entirely sure. One minute we're deep within… an abandoned Jedi Temple looking at this strange artifact—it had a very odd Force signature—and then next thing we know," Finn said, gesturing his arms to the council room.

The Jedi Council was silent.

"Which Temple were you in?" Yoda asked, the slightest note of suspicion in his voice.

Rey was taken aback, though she did her best not to show it. The Jedi in front of her was very different from the one she knew. She quickly glanced at Obi-Wan and noticed how very different he looked. Obviously younger, but more stressed and tired. Rey wasn't surprised.

Yoda's question also posed a dilemma. Should they tell the Jedi which Temple it was? But then that would reveal they had time traveled and, honestly, they weren't sure how the Council would react. Would they accept it? Yoda had said that acceptance of new ideas wasn't the Old Order's strong suit.

Rey took a deep breath, "It… It was this one."

None of the present Jedi said anything. The air started to become uncomfortable and Finn was suddenly aware of how hot the air was. Made sense, seeing as the windows of the room were directly in line with the setting Coruscant sun.

"Did you say that it was abandoned because you are trying to hide its location… for whatever reason?" Obi-Wan asked. He had shifted forward on his seat slightly.

The tension increased.

"Oh, forget it," Rey said in frustration. She shook the nervousness out of her body. "Yes and no. In our time, the Coruscant Temple is abandoned."

"Rey!"

"What? They were probably going to find out anyway!"

Meanwhile, all Jedi present glanced at each other. Their time? What was that supposed to mean? They… Surely they couldn't be suggesting they were from the future. That was just unheard of!

"Are you suggesting you're from the future?" The male Jedi who had escorted Rey and Finn asked.

The two semi-Jedi turned to face him. Once again, Rey was struck with just how familiar that lightsaber was. And come to think of it, his physical appearance looked familiar as well…

"Yeah. And to prove it…" Finn started. He gave a standard Resistance salute. "General Finn of the Resistance military. First Jedi student of Rey and a former First Order soldier. Rey?"

"Now you're my student?" She muttered. Rey glanced at her friend, understanding what he was doing. Sort of. "And I'm Rey. Rey Skywalker."

Silence.

Absolute silence.

Even a sound, ordinarily insignificant such as breathing, seemed deafening. The silence drowned everyone and the voices in the Temple below became louder.

The male Jedi behind Finn and Rey started choking. Startled, the two semi-Jedi quickly turned around and approached him.

"Are you ok?" Rey asked.

"Yeah… Yeah… Except for that whole "Skywalker part"," he managed to splutter out between coughs. Then, in a more serious voice, "Is that some kind of joke?"

The realization dawned on Rey. It took Finn a little while longer before he realized it as well. They both half-turned back to the Council. The Korun Jedi was about to speak, but Rey interrupted him as she turned back to Anakin.

"You must be Anakin Skywalker! I… I… It's a long story and not a joke. Actually, not entirely sure what you mean by that. Never mind. But—" Rey started hyperventilating and pacing backward and forwards. "—I'm sorry. It all makes sense now. Why you look familiar, why your lightsaber looks so familiar. There's so much I want to ask you; I've been wanting to talk to you for so long but you've been so absent and I don't know why and—"

Finn rolled his eyes good naturally, saying, "I think he gets the point, Rey."

Suddenly remembering where she was, Rey quickly calmed down and stopped pacing. "Ahem. Yeah. Um. Sorry."

The Jedi Council was still in shock. One or two were glaring at Anakin who nervously rubbed the back of his neck. But even though the current shock and surprise were present, each Jedi could feel the waves of confusion coming from the Jedi Knight. The Council room quickly turned uncomfortable so Anakin spoke up.

"You said you from the future…?"

The smallest hint of hope in his voice went unnoticed, except by Obi-Wan.

"Yes. Though technically I'm adopted, I guess," Rey corrected.

A huge sigh of relief was easily heard throughout the room. The tension that had built up dissipated but was still present in some corners.

"Well I supposed that's a relief," Anakin murmured. His shoulders slumped forward slightly.

"I suggest—" the Korun started.

"Master Windu," Obi-Wan interrupted. "We don't know the circumstances. There really could be a whole host of reasons as to why Anakin adopted… Rey, was it?"

Rey and Finn frowned before facing each other. Why would they automatically assume that it was Anakin? In all fairness, they hadn't exactly revealed how far in the future they had come. Maybe Luke and Leia hadn't been born yet? No. They knew the Skywalker twins had been born towards the end of the Clone Wars. Something wasn't right.

"Maybe you need to clear it up some more," Finn suggested.

"Yeah. Can't imagine why they would react that way," Rey whispered back.

Rey stepped forward, immediately quieting the debate between the Council members. They all turned to Rey, attentive to what she would say next.

"I think there's still a bit of confusion. Anakin wasn't the one to adopt me. It was Luke and Leia."

"Who's Luke and Leia?" Anakin asked.

"Who… Who's Luke and Leia?" Finn asked, repeating Anakin's words sarcastically. "I don't know, your children?"

Ahsoka Tano waited outside the Council chambers. A small couch was pressed up against the wall and opposite where she was sitting, she could see hundreds of speeders going past. The buildings of Coruscant glittered in the evening sun. Only its rays could be seen through the window.

The padawan felt rather neutral toward the view. No particular emotion stuck out as it was all so familiar to her. But in the familiarity was a sense of home. Away from the battlefield. Away from the death and destruction it brought. Home. While Ahsoka waited, her mind wandered to what was going on beyond the Temple walls.

The meeting seemed to be taking its time. Of course. The Jedi Council was probably interrogating the poor souls to death. Ahsoka quickly glanced over to the door when she heard someone coughing and briefly thought about quickly getting a glass of water. However, it quickly died down again and Ahsoka returned to leaning against her fists.

"My WHAT?!" Anakin yelled.

A/N: This is just a fun little one-shot I wrote a few years ago, purely on the joke of how Anakin would react to Rey "Skywalker". I have an idea for a second/follow-up chapter, but I don't think I'll write it. I know some parts (namely the beginning) should probably be rewritten, but... I can't be bothered; as I said, this is just for fun. However, if you feel like taking the idea and writing your own fanfic based on it, just let me know.
