Out in the city, Praxina was blasting buildings left and right.
"That's it, run you inferior creatures!" said Praxina while watching the people running away. Some just ran in the opposite direction of her while others tried to hide wherever they could.
"That's enough, Praxina!" said Iris as she and the others flew up on the scene.
"Oh look, you went and got more help," said Praxina while turning to face them.
"Guess this war is about to finally end," she said as she held a handout toward them, ready to blast Iris and the others with her magic.
"Praxina," came the voice of the mystery person from behind her which sent a chill down her spine.
"Mephisto?" asked Praxina while turning to see her brother.
"That's right, and It's time to stop this, Praxina, things have gone too far," said Mephisto.
"Shut up, you can't be my brother!" said Praxina as she grabbed her head.
"I watched him fall to his death, Mephisto is gone!" she said.
"You saw me fall but I did not die, Praxina," said Mephisto
"When the explosion happened, I was sent flying far from the castle and afterwards I had trouble using my magic, so I stayed in the forest waiting to heal," he said.
"We found him just today, we got him healed up and brought him straight here to see you," said Lyna.
"No, no, no!" said Praxina before her energy erupted out of her body and into the sky.
"What's going on?!" asked Iris.
"Her mind wasn't prepared for the strain of finding out Mephisto's still alive, she's losing control," said Izira.
"It's more than just that!" said Auriana who noticed a faint red glow coming from the mask which was growing again.
"I knew something was up, that mask has its own magical energy and is messing with her mind!" said Iris.
"That's not its own magic, it belongs to Banes!" said Mephisto while looking around.
"There!" said Carissa as she pointed down at a rooftop where the beast stood.
"Always knew that thing was more than just a normal beast," said Talia. Banes then realized that Iris and the others were looking at him, so he let out a roar.
"Whoa!" said everyone as they dodged bolts of lightning that came down from the sky in response to the beast's roar.
