"Just what is Banes, how can he be able to do all of this?!" asked Talia while everyone gathered up away from the panther creature and Praxina behind a sign, so they were out of the way.
"I once heard Gramorr call him a spirit beast," said Mephisto.
"That explains it, spirit beasts are a rare race with pure magical power and the mask must be a part of his power that was separated from his body," said Izira.
"Only they are typically good, but Banes is a spirit beast of pure chaos who feeds off the negative energy created by the wearer of his mask," said Talia.
"Well does anyone have an idea how to get rid of him?" asked Iris.
"Even together we can't destroy him, but there may be a way to seal him away so that he can't cause anymore trouble," said Carissa.
"How?" asked Auriana.
"The Oracle Gems, they gave Iris enough power to defeat Gramorr so they should also be able to defeat Banes," said Carissa.
"But how am I supposed to get them when we're on a different planet?" asked Iris.
"Just think about them, the gems will react to your thoughts," said Lyna.
"Alright," said Iris before closing her eyes.
"Whoa," said Auriana as a bright light came from Iris at the same time the crown appeared on her head. This light was also seen by Banes who let out another loud roar to summon lighting on them.
"Oh no," said Carissa as she noticed a bolt coming down from the sky, but it was stopped by a barrier created by Iris who just held her right hand out.
"You're not going to hurt anyone again," said Iris before flying up into the sky.
"You won't stop me!" came a demonic voice from Praxina.
"Didn't see that coming," said a surprised Talia.
"I have been around since the dawn of creation; I have destroyed more lives than there are stars!" said the voice.
"And once my mask has fully grown on this girl's face, you can say good-bye to your home planet of Earth and every other planet out there!" he said.
"You'll have to go through us first!" said Iris before she and her friends blasted a beam each at Banes who created a barrier to shield himself.
