Suu walked around the hallways of her laboratory as several different scientists and researchers were busy with their work.

They all focused on a few goals: innovate, research, experiment, and invent in the dark, for the people under the light.

However, she wasn't really here to supervise.

Wearing a visor that covered her upper face wouldn't be weird for them, as they were all pretty weird in their own way. Some were trying to find out how to obtain immortality like the Head Researcher, yet it was proven impossible.

Under those visors, however, were dark eyebags she refused to show others. Her skin was paler than usual, and it appears she has only slept once a week.

So, who was Suu?

Suu is the head researcher who lived for hundreds of years, almost around 400 years, and the Co-founder of Eikoln Empire which now has a population of 12 million, 84% of those being Lis Humans, which are an evolved version of the Lis, a subspecies of the Round Ones.

She is a calm and tempered individual, learning from each of her minuscule mistakes and is in fact, a widowed woman.

After a few minutes of walking through her laboratory, she had arrived in her secret laboratory at floor 1C, below floor B2.

At that point, Suu heaved a big sigh, taking off her visors and putting them on a steel table. Her eyes have changed to become heterochromic, as her left eye became light green while the other was naturally still blue.

She started limping, as she held her forehead that had been throbbing right about now.

{ Still rejecting yourself? } A voice similar to hers spoke inside her head with a calm tone, making her grunt in annoyance.

"Yes, I do! After all, you aren't me!" Suu replied firmly to the voice, making it silent for a moment.

{ I see. So the Lady of Technology couldn't stand her previous incarnation's self, huh. Not that it matters, anyway. Your efforts shall become futile sooner, however. I'll let you in control until you're asleep. Here's one warning, please start drinking blood and devouring raw meat, normal food and water won't be of any taste soon. Else your bloodlust will take over you. } The voice calmly spoke once again, this time, she was purely confident.

"Haah... what's even with the nickname, anyway?" Suu sighed out, becoming calm once again.

{ Just an old habit I don't want to let go of since my time as a Demon King. Although there are other people close to me that have been given nicknames, it should be proper for me to give you once, hm? }

And that was it, Suu hadn't heard of the voice in her mind for several hours.

So, when did this happen?

It just happened several days after Kayblis was fully reborn as the Demon King, where after seeing the light and gaining a strange lightheadedness while being exposed to the crystals around the room might have been the cause.

Ever since then, she had started to gain memories not her own. About a world without Lis or even Lis Humans, but just ordinary, weak replicas of the hornless Lis Humans.

To be honest, they were smart, but not as smart as most of the Lis Humans who work on a logical, realistic mindset most of the time.

That other world, or other continent had monsters known as Guy Monsters and Gal Monsters, each in many different types and variations. Even the Dragon Kalars-

{ Just ordinary Kalars, they don't have draconic features or are able to turn into dragons. However, all of them are still female, I see. }

Ahem, Kalars...

Yeah, actually, the humans there are just bootlegs of the Lis Humans yet they have an incredible amount of numbers to spare. The humans there are probably around 100 million in total population while the total population of Lis Humans were just almost half of that.

As much as she wanted to recall those memories from her supposed "previous incarnation", she remembered having drunk a few drops of blood from her adoptive father, Kayblis, turning her into a Dark Lord, not an apostle as she thought.

In contemplation, she started to wipe her eyes with a clean cloth from her white coat's pocket.

As much as she didn't like the one inside her mind, she already gained a lot of ideas for her own individual research, and feeling like the voice had rested deep into her subconscious, she continued with the project that is making a long living homunculus to transfer her own consciousness in case Ssulal fully took over her body.

And yes, the one inside her head is named Ssulal.

Despite their similarities, Suu still rejects her, thinking to herself that Ssulal wasn't her and probably just something from one of her 82 failed experiments.

She might be staying in her secret laboratory alone (or maybe not) for a few more months, since Kayblis wanted to take a long trip around the world soon.

Suu hoped she wouldn't get corrupted even more soon while she starts making things using all the resources she had. Most of them were traded from the Kalar and Poppin Dragons that lived inside Eikoln City.
