"He's actually holding them back?!" thought Mephisto.
"Did you honestly think that I would be weaker than those stupid Gems, I have been around much longer than they have!" said Banes while standing his ground.
"That's it," said Mephisto as he noticed the mask almost fully taking away Praxina's face. He then flew over to her, grabbing Praxina by the left shoulder and the edge of the mask at the same time.
"What… what are you doing?!" asked Banes.
"Spirit Beasts need a tether to this reality, you don't just control people through this mask, it's what keeps you here," said Mephisto.
"So, if it's destroyed you can't stay in this reality!" he said while trying to pull the mask off his sister's face.
"No!" screamed Banes at the same time electricity surged through Praxina's body, zapping her and her brother in the process.
"Gah, Pra… Praxina," said Mephisto as he looked into his sister's right eye which was the only part of her face not covered by the mask by this point.
"I know that you're stronger than this, so fight back, Praxina!" he said. The next thing anyone knew, a crimson red energy appeared alongside the dark purple one around her.
"What… what is this?!" asked Banes.
"Get… off… of me!" said Praxina at the same time that her magical energy erupted from her body.
"This… this can't be happening, no one should be able to fight back against my control!" screamed Banes as his body started to blur in and out of reality.
"The barrier is weakening!" said Iris as holes appeared in Banes's barrier. The combined attack of Iris and the others then made it through and hit the evil spirit beast straight on.
"No!" screamed the beast as he fully vanished from sight. This also caused the clouds to dissipate and the energy from Praxina stopped too.
"Oh no," said Iris as she noticed Praxina and Mephisto falling out of the air. In Mephisto's right hand was the mask which had started to disintegrate
"We got them," said Auriana while she and Lyna flew after them, catching the two before they hit the ground.
"Alright, now that all of this is over what are we going to do?" asked Talia while looking at the streets where people were gathering around.
"We stop hiding, it's time for all of our worlds to come together, including Earth," said Iris.
