Dad came back with Bella. I didn't go, I didn't want one of us to have to ride in the back of the cruiser. He also refuses to drive my car.
"Hey Bella," I greet when she walks in the door.
"Hey," she replies seeming very depressed.
Both dad and her head upstairs to her room. I finish making dinner. I see Jacob and Billy pull up and head out.
"Hey boys, how was your day?" I ask them.
"Hi Morticia, it's been good. But I'm always happy when I get your cooking." Billy replies.
"Hey Mor, your sister here yet?" Jacob asks immediately skipping over most formalities. That's Jacob for you. Bella and my dad come out before I get the chance to answer.
"Bella, you remember Billy Black." My dad introduces her.
"Glad you're finally here. Charlie hasn't shut up about it since you told him you were coming." Billy embarrasses my dad. I chuckle.
"Keep exaggerating and I'll wheel you down the hill." Dad comes back with jokingly.
"Right after I ram your ankles," Billy replies with. He wheels towards dad and dad dodges. They keep this up for a little bit.
"I'm Jacob. We made mud pies together when we were little kids." Jake introduces shyly walking up to Bella.
"Yeah...I think I remember..." Bella replies clearly lying. "Are they always like this?" Referring too Dad and Billy.
"Yes, it's only getting worse sadly. They also gossip like old ladies." I reply with a smile.
"Who you calling old lady, Tisha?" Dad asks jokingly. He then pats the orange monster sitting on the driveway. "So, what do you think of your homecoming gift?"
"No way. A truck for me?" Bella asks not seeming super happy about it. She seems grateful though.
"Just bought it off Billy here." Dad says.
"I rebuilt the engine and-" Jake tells her and gets cut off.
"It's perfect!" Bella exclaims.
Okay, so you gotta double pump the clutch when you shift, but..." Jake trails off and hands her the keys.
"Maybe I could give you a ride to school," Bella offers.
"I go to school on the reservation." Jacob says awkwardly.
"Too bad. Would have been nice to know at least one person." Bella replies.
We all head in for dinner. They dish themselves up.
"You taking the leftovers to Sam, Tisha?" My dad asks me. I nod.
"Who's Sam?" My nosey sister asks.
"The local gang leader." Jacob sneers.
"Jake, he doesn't run a gang," I tell him. "He's, my boyfriend."
"Shitty boyfriend, dumps Leah for her best friend." Jacob says rudely.
"Jake, enough. Don't talk about things you don't understand. Leah, Sam, and I all know what happened. The only people who matter in the situation are us." I tell him getting pissed off. The stupid rumours are just that rumours. They are completely untrue.
I finish up eating. Then leave with the wrapped-up leftovers. I made enough that Sam and Jared should have enough. Sam says Paul will be joining them shortly, but he still hasn't yet, so I don't need to worry about feeding him just yet. I arrive at Sam's and just walk in. He leaves the door open for me. I see him and Jared sitting on the couch watching tv.
"Hey Tish," Jared greets.
"Hi boys, I brought food," I tell them as Sam gets up and gives me a peck on the lips as a greeting. "How was your day, Jared?"
"School sucks. I really wish I could be like you and graduate early." He replies.
"You know I did go to school after, right? Besides you're in your last year." I tell him. "How was your day, Sam?"
"It was good. It was nice to see you at lunch." He says putting the food in the oven to heat up. "You already eat?"
"Yeah, Billy and Jake came over. I'm beginning to find it difficult to be around Jake for long periods of time." I tell them.
"Why?" Sam asks wrapping his arms around my waist pulling me close.
"He is pissed off, thinking that the rumours are true. He won't take a look at facts at all." I rant.
"He's a kid, Tisha. You need to give him a break. Believing in crazy things is what kids do. Think about the tooth fairy for instance." Sam points out.
"Alright, but I don't think Jake believes in the tooth fairy anymore." I say with a giggle. Sam shrugs.
The next day is an easy one. I don't have work so after my morning run with Sam, I do some cleaning around the house. Once that's done, I prep some meals just in case I get busy and can't make it home. The day goes by fairly quickly. Bella comes home slamming the door. I wonder what her problem is. Dad gets home shortly after.
"Thanks kid, you didn't have to do all this." Dad says grateful I cleaned.
"Yes, I did. You won't do it." I say with a laugh.
"I don't want to get in the way of your routine is all." My dad says. "Wanna call Sam and invite him to the diner with us?"
"Sure, I'll go let him know to meet us there. Usual time?" I ask walking away pausing at the stairs to wait for an answer.
"Yes, usual time." Dad confirms.
I bounce up the stairs to my room and call Sam. Letting him know to be at the diner. He usually meets us, but he wasn't sure with Bella here. Dad, Bella and I all go to the diner and sit in our usual spot.
"Can't get over how grown up you are. And so gorgeous." Cora compliments. Waylon comes over behind Cora.
"Remember me honey? I was Santa one year." Waylon asks.
"Waylon, she hasn't had a Christmas here since she was four." Dad intervenes.
"But I made an impression though." Waylon says with a smile.
"You always do." Dad says with a laugh.
"Let the girl eat her cod, Waylon." Cora says she turns to Bella. "When you're done. I'll bring your favourite berry cobbler. Remember? Your dad still has it every Thursday."
"That'd be great. Thank you." Bella says uncomfortably. Sam then walks in. He heads right over. He gives me a light peck on the lips then sits beside me with his arm around the back of my chair.
"Sam," my dad greets.
"Charlie," he greets in return.
"Bella this is my boyfriend Sam, Sam this is my sister Bella." I introduce.
Sam politely waves at her. She smiles... well, its more of a grimace. Sam pulls me close hissing the side of my head. He starts to eat.
"How has work been this week, Sam?" My dad asks.
"Good, been pretty busy. You?" Sam replies.
"It's been slow." My dad says.
"That's a good thing in your line of work, dad." I say with a chuckle. My dad rolls his eyes at me.
"So, you eat here every night." Bella comments.
"Where did you get that idea?" I ask confused.
"She said dad gets the berry cobbler every Thursday." Bella tried to defend herself.
"Every Thursday we generally come, but since you came that day we didn't. Sam usually meets us here." Dad explains. "How was school? Meet anyone?"
"A few people... do you know the Cullen family?" Bella asks.
"Are people talking about them again?" My dad asks upset.
He really does like the Cullen's. Three of them come see me in a professional manner. Only reason they come see me is because I know of the supernatural and can treat them better then a therapist who doesn't.
"No...well, a little." Bella admits.
"Just cause they're newcomers. We're lucky to have a surgeon like Dr. Cullen at our podunk hospital. Lucky his wife wanted to live in a small town. Lucky his kids aren't a lot of hell raisers around here." Dad rants.
"Okay," Bella says confused.
"I don't like narrow mindedness." Dad says.
"Put down your pitchfork, dad. The Cullen's are generally good people, but they aren't perfect." I say.
"Sam, you like the Cullen's, right?" My dad asks Sam.
"I'm kind to them in passing. But I don't see them all that much. I'll see a few of them at Tisha office, but that's really about it." Sam admits finishing my plate of food.
"I never said I didn't like the Cullen's dad." I say rolling my eyes. "I just said they aren't perfect."
"Alright, I just don't like how everyone talks about them." He says with a sigh.
"Well, now they are talking about Bella." I say with a smile.
"I don't think that's the point he's trying to make, baby." Sam says laughing.
Dessert comes and we dig in. Bella picks at her food like always. This will be a long few years with her here. We all leave. Sam goes back to his place while, dad, Bella and I go back to ours. I head upstairs to my room. Bella follows me. She stands at my door.
"Why do you have the nicer room?" She asks.
"Because I've lived here my whole life." I say with a shrug. "Can I help you with anything?"
"I just wanted to see what your room looks like. Wait... you have your own bathroom? How is that fair?" She whines.
"It's not. But I'm also an adult." I say. I head back downstairs to talk to dad. "Hey, dad is it okay is Sam crashes here for the night?"
"Sure, can I ask why?" He asks curiously.
"We were gonna go to port angles for the day for some shopping and a date night." I tell him just as there's a knock on the door.
I open it to Sam. We both head upstairs after Sam greets dad for the second time tonight. I close the door of my room behind us.
"You seem frustrated." Sam observes just as a knock comes on my door. The person opens it without waiting and it's Bella.
"You can't have a guy alone in your room. Dad will be pissed." Bella says.
"I'm an adult Bella. I can do as I want." I tell her rolling my eyes.
"Dad! Morticia has a guy in her room!" Bella yells down to him.
"What?!" He exclaims. "I thought she had Sam over. Are you cheating on Sam, Tisha?" Dad yells back up.
"No Charlie. Bella's just upset that she has different rules then Tisha." Sam yells down with a smirk.
"Good I won't have my daughter ruining a perfectly good relationship with a great man." Dad says.
"I swear he loves you more then me." I say to Sam with a chuckle.
"Why do you get to have a boy in your room, but I don't?" Bella whines interrupting Sam and I.
"Because I'm an adult. And Sam isn't a boy. He's a man. A fully grown adult." I tell her sick of her antics already. It's the same every time she comes.
"Leave your sister alone, Bella." Dad yells up to her.
"But its not fair." She yells down.
"When your graduated College and paying bills we can talk then," dad says putting his foot down.
Bella storms off slamming the door behind her. I sigh and put my forehead on Sam's chest. He pulls me closer, trying to offer me some comfort.
"Is it always like this?" He asks.
"More often then not." I say with a sigh. "I thought she would have outgrown it by now, but apparently not."
"You could always move in with me." He suggests.
"I want to help my dad settle with Bella in the house. Then I'm all yours." I tell him.
"You're already mine. Aren't you?" Sam asks cocking his head to the side like a confused puppy.
"Yeah, I am yours." I say with a laugh and smile.
He picks me up and I wrap my legs around his waist. He captures my lips with his. My arms around his head. My fingers running through his hair. His hands are under my ass. Till I feel him hit the bed. Then he drops me on my back, breaking our kiss. Him and I both panting catching our breath.
He pulls my shirt over my head and climbs on top of me. He brings his lips back to mine and I feel him unclip my bra with one hand while the other goes my nipples right away. Rolling them in his fingers.
He breaks the kiss ducking down to suck on my nipples causing me to moan out. He leaves a trail of kisses down to my pants. He slips those off with my panties then runs his fingers along my slit feeling how wet I am.
"Please, Sam." I moan out.
"Please what?" He asks with a smirk, running two fingers up and down my slit, lightly brushing my clit with each pass.
"Please, Sam. I want you." I pant out.
He slips his shorts off he lines himself up with me. He runs his head up and down my slit gathering some of my wetness and pushes in slowly. He groans quietly in my ear while I moan louder.
"I love being inside you." He comments while pulling part way out and slamming back in.
I curl my legs around him to take more of him in. Me pressing my lips to his. Him repeating the movement. He tilted my pelvis slightly all of a sudden hitting a spot that made me see stars.
"More," I say breaking from his lips and he speeds up.
Thrusting harder and faster. He leans back a little bit. Just enough to get his hand down to where we are joined but not enough to stop hitting the magic sweet spot inside me. He rubs circles around my clit causing me to feel the coil get tight to the point where it aches.
"Cum for me," he orders in his alpha voice.
I plummet off the cliff. Moaning his name as I cum around him. His strokes become uneven a smaller as he cums. He presses his forehead to mine as we both pant catching our breath.
He pulls out of me. Rolling over but pulling me with him so I'm laying on his chest.
"I love you, Sam," I tell him.
"I love you too, Tish," he replies kissing the top of my head.
He pulls the sheet over us, and I fall asleep to the rhythmic thumping of his heartbeat.
