"Raccoon Girl shoots, she so scores, Ugh-oh it's morning, gotta get back before Kendra wakes up and worries." Casey said as right now she was being Raccoon Girl kicking tail despite Terra being peaceful wearing her armour plus tied up her hair into a furry ponytail so nobody would guess it was her despite Kendra knowing she did this flying back to her house entering through her open bedroom-window changing out of her armour into pyjamas going downstairs to the kitchen surprised that Kendra wasn't awake yet deciding to make her breakfast because it eased Kendra's anxiety putting bread in the toaster grabbing peanut butter and jelly, making Kendra a mug of coffee while pouring herself a big bowl of her favourite cereal with milk.

After a while, she heard footsteps seeing it was Kendra surprised she'd made her breakfast taking it into the living-room seeing Casey was having her breakfast telling her that she had to get ready for school afterwards seeing her nodding so after finishing and putting her dishes in the sink, she super-sped upstairs getting ready vyr saw a message from Branchie saying there was a surprise assembly at school she wouldn't want to miss making her curious losing track of time imagining what it could be.

"Holy crutack, I'm gonna be late." she said leaving after grabbing her Rocketpack running out the door making Kendra sigh, she knew her lil cub had been out all night being Raccoon Girl which she'd seen on the morning-news and knew that this Terra was peaceful, no supervillains intent on taking over like the ones Rocket talked about on his podcast knowing Casey loved listening, it inspired her.

Casey was relieved making it to school until she heard the bell frowning getting an idea focusing becoming unseen through her cloaking-power sneaking in hearing cheering from the auditorium knowing it was too late to even join assembly without getting busted heading to her classroom putting her stuff in her cubby waiting until everybody showed up including her teacher before revealing herself, it was how she avoided late-slips hearing her classmates talking excitedly about what Dean Carol had told them.

"Hey everybody, what's going on, why is everybody excited." she asked confused.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie whispered to her.

"I ran late so no, I didn't hear." Casey whispered back.

"I am Groot." Branchie replied grinning at her knowing when she told her, the super-powered female-cub would get excitable guessing her uncle was dealing with mischievous students or with the faculty hoping her new friend wouldn't try to cause trouble just to mert him hearing the recess bell but her eyes widened seeing who the new vice-dean was making Branchie giggle.

"You didn't tell me Rocket's the new vice-dean, that's what the assembly was about." Casey said excitedly making Branchie nod noticing the female-cub wasn't wearing her power-bands which helped her control her many powers so she couldn't do major damage making her face-palm.

"I must've forgot them rushing this morning being late, never mind I have spares in my Rocketpack which I can put on when we head back to class." she reassured her only Tommy Maximoff noticed this wanting to rile her up and cause mischief which Branchie sensed telling her to just ignore him wondering why he was a jerk to her.

"Because I broke his speed record in Gym class my first week here." she said impressing her.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." she told her hearing the bell making them relieved so when they got back to class, Casey went and put on hher spare power-bands relieving her and Branchie that she could go about her day without being anxious that she'd cause damage with her powers seeing Branchie hug her making her feel better plus she'd heard that Rocket's daughter, Shocket was queen of the Ravagers having adventures from his blog yesterday which made her impressed knowing she could never do that working on an awesome canvas involving her as Raccoon Girl flying alongside the Milano which Branchie loved during art time, which was helping the female-cub with her excitement.

"I am Groot, I am Groot." Branchie said to her walking through the halls to get to the cafetaria for lunch

"I don't know what I'm gonna say, if I run into him, he's probably busy you know." she replied getting in line with the other kids getting lunch but also chocolate-milk accidentally bumping into somebody saying she was sorry unaware it was Rocket as he turned around seeing her leave with Branchie making his eyes widen.

That's Casey, wow she's gotten so big since the last time I saw her, as that lil baby but guess she's too shy to speak to me, Jupiter would be so proud of her how she's growing up…

"Vice-Dean Rocket you alright you seem distracted, somebody's throwing meatballs." a kid said jolting him out of his thoughts seeing Raya throwing trying to start a food fight making him shake his furry head nipping it in the tail deflecting meatballs from hitting other kids getting some sauce on his armour, making a lot of kids clap their hands especially Casey which he could hear.

Casey couldn't stop feeling happy walking home from school because it had been a weird but good day especially having her favourite hero be at her school which she was deciding to keep to herself for now knowing Kendra would find out sooner or later opening the front-door using her claws like a key, smirking as she closed the door behind her as Kendra was still at work so she was on her own until she came home fixing herself a snack popping open a big can of Cherry Pepsi Max, sitting on the couch watching her favourite shows then doing homework just not the power-practice part knowing Kendra got worried when she did that but finished the rstvof her homework in no time, listening to Rocket's podcast which was relaxing her into sleep a bit later, just as Kendra returned with takeout smiling knowing her lil cub had did a good job holding down the fort until she'd returned stroking behind her furry ear, feeling her begin to stir groggily.

"Hey mommy when did you get home." she asked making Kendra giggle because she was being sweet pouring milk ijto a cup setting the table for them seeing Casey sitting down despite imagining Raccoon Girl teaming up with Rocket to have her big moment as a heroine hearing Kendra asking her if she was okay nodding in reply drinking soda making Kendra smirk guessing something exciting had happened to her at school which she was keeping a secret unaware that her mom knew about Rocket being the vice-dean being on the PTA grinning making Casey confused enjoying having takeout seeing Kendra goijg upstairs to bed making Casey grin because she was tired too after a full school day.

"I'll just take another power-nap before patrolling." she mumbled curling up on her couch falling asleep.
