Drew (angry and upset after he gets back to pick Angelica up): "Angelica did whaaaat?"

Didi (angry and upset and referring to Stu): "That's exactly right, Drew. she destroyed Tommy's most favorite lamp, Mr. Fluffles. which of course your brother made for him."

Betty (also angry and upset): "we even heard the entire thing from her."

(She holds up a tape recorder and she plays it for Drew to hear.)

Angelica's Voice: "That's right, I did it. and I'd break it again if I had the chance. you know what? there's nothing you babies can do because you can't talk! ha, ha, ha, ha! I did it! I did it! I did it!"

Drew: "I'm angry and upset and disappointed with you, young lady."

Angelica: "but, Daddy. I didn't even mean it. honestly."

Drew: "that's not exactly what your Aunt Didi and Betty told me before. now I'm gonna be strict and harsh about this. and there's gonna be no after lunch and dinner dessert meals nor going anyplace nor any television for another week. and you're gonna give your second born cousin a sincere apology. your mother will have some words to say to you about this when she gets back home from work in her office. (He looks right at his sister in law.) I'm terribly sorry this happened, Didi. I can pay to replace the clown lamp."

Didi: "That's real super nice of you, Drew. thanks a bunch. I'll speak to your brother and set the arrangements. now I suggest you take my niece back home with you. and you and Charlotte speak about a severe punishment for her."

Drew: "once again, I'm terribly sorry that happened. (He looks strictly and harshly at Angelica.) now what do you need to say for yourself, Angelica?"

Angelica: "Sorry 'bout that, Aunt Didi. sorry 'bout that, Tommy."

Drew: "oh good. now, Didi and Betty, you two ladies have a super good time. I'll be in touch with my brother.

(Drew and Angelica are in their car.)

Drew: "now, young lady. when we get back home to our house, you're going to your bedroom. and your gonna stay there 'til your mother and I discuss your punishment. you understand me, young lady?"

(Meanwhile, Drew pulls up to their house.)

Drew: "now get to your bedroom, young lady."

Angelica: "but, daddy. I-"

Drew: "right noooow."

(Charlotte comes into the house.)

Charlotte: "why hello there, Drew honey cakes. how are you doing?"

Drew: "not super good sugar cakes. there was a problem today over at my brother, Stu and my sister in law, Didi's house."

Charlotte: "what just happened? (She begins looking around.) where's my little sweet angel cakes? Drew. that's exactly what I wanna speak to you about. our little sweet angel cakes."

(Drew's now speaking with Charlotte about what happened. and Charlotte's now angry and upset about it.

(meanwhile upstairs, Angelica's now terrified about her punishment. and fifteen minutes later, Drew calls her to come downstairs.)

Drew: "Angelica! come downstairs now, please!"

(Angelica comes down the stair steps putting on her innocent face.).

Angelica (smiling innocently): "yes, Mommy and Daddy?"

Drew: "your mother and I discussed about this. and we came to a decision.

Charlotte: "first of all, your father's gonna pay your Uncle Stu for a new lamp. and you're gonna give a sincere heartfelt apology to your second born cousin and to your Aunt

Didi as well too. there's also gonna be no going anyplace for another week and no television 'til further notice."

Angelica: "but that just isn't fair at all."

Drew: "you heard exactly what your mother said, young lady. and it wasn't even fair to Tommy that his most favorite clown lamp broke apart 'cause of what you just did. "

Angelica: "noooooooooooooo!"

Charlotte: "you can be dramatic any single time you want. but our minds are made up about it. and this punishment's gonna stick. and if you keep this up, we're gonna give you a behind spanking. you understand that?"

Angelica: "yes, mommy and daddy. of course."

Drew: "Now go upstairs to your bedroom right now."

(Angelica disappointedly walks around upstairs on her way to her bedroom with Cynthia in her right hand.)
