Prologue:
Her amethyst eyes scanned the barren lands of Omicron Theta. Fenix Flarestone Vogel's eyebrows knit together bitterly. Her long, straight, dark hair gently caressing her forearms she contemplated about her current situation. I don't understand, I did everything in my power to help people countless times but I'm getting exiled!? I hate people… Maybe I was better off being a nihilist. She kicked up a cloud of dust in frustration. I should be glad that I was exiled to Omicron Theta. There's nothing here. Starfleet's cover-up… that's what I am. They exiled me here to die. 'Let nature take its course.' To make themselves look better on paper. I hope you all burn in hell like you deserve. She zipped up her black leather jacket trying to push away the chill that ran up her spine remembering the torture she endured for months under Admiral Pressman's experimentations. Carrying a duffle-bag and a tanto at her hip, she started to lazily follow the setting sun. The sound of her combat boots hitting the gravel and the distant whistling of the warm evening wind was her only company. She walked. She walked all night. She was determined to keep walking until she found something, or until something found her. Water? Flora? Fauna? Anything, other than dust and boulders? To her right, there was scarce scatterings of grass. Where there is grass, there's water. I should keep walking towards the grass. But her instincts told her otherwise. She looked towards the horizon with the green grass one last time, and there it was. She felt something, an inkling in her guts. Her eyes stared at the curious slab of rock that resembled a wall. That wall looks out of place for some reason. The feeling becoming stronger and stronger as she neared closer to a wall of rock. Putting her bag down, her small hands searched for something she wasn't sure of, caressing the door-like rock slab. A look of surprise crossed her feminine face when she felt something akin to a latch. The rock wall opened, letting the dust enter the underground facility. Fenix cautiously walked inside and closed the door. Scanning her surroundings, she noted there was still power and kept walking in the direction she was sensing something.
She looked around like a curious cat. What the heck am I doing? I should be checking out the grass. It'll lead me to more life. Hopefully life other than humans. I might even be able to grow vegetables and hunt or something. So why am I here in this hole? Exploring the facility, she came to the conclusion this was a lab. Moulds of what looked to be makings of something humanoid had piqued her interest. She came across a storage area and stopped. Taking a deep breath, she noted whatever she was feeling, it was felt the strongest in this room.Nearing the storage chamber, she opened it. A gush of mist-like vapours exhaled upon opening the chamber door. Her doe-like amethyst eyes widened with pure awe, and grinned upon what she saw, "Dude… far out!"
