Three large and burly security guards carried ten girls and one boy in their arms across a bustling cow themed amusement park known as Dairyland. The eleven kids thrashed and clawed at the guards but could not escape their grasp. These eleven kids were the Louds, widely known all over town as happy and bold children, but also very crude and chaotic children.
"Let me go!" shouted Lana.
"Easy on the dress!" shouted Lola.
"I predict you three will all drown in a vat of fondue," Lucy said to the guards stoically.
"I was right in the middle of a jam sesh!" groaned Luna.
"You're smudging my glasses," complained Lisa.
"How Dare-y you confiscate my pranking pies!" quipped Luan.
"I am going to shove my cleats right up your eye sockets." threatened Lynn. She began to shake loose, but before she could completely break free, the guard's grip on her tightened; as well as the other Louds in his grasp.
"Lynn stop!" yelled Lincoln. "You're making things worse!" He was being carried by the same guard as his sporty sister.
At last the security guards reached the exit to Dairyland and dropped the Loud kids on the ground outside of the park.
"My tushie!" grunted Lola.
"You almost cracked my phone screen!" hissed Lori.
"You punks are lucky my brother is holding me back." said Lynn, as Lincoln held her right shoulder trying to calm her down.
"What did we even do?" asked Leni.
"What didn't you do is a better question." said one of the security guards.
"Excessive yelling and brawling, hitting carneys with baseballs, letting loose the petting zoo animals, telling kids grim and scary fortunes, using the hall of mirrors to take risque selfies, slamming pies into people's faces, unauthorized loud music and selling of autographs, and poisoning of cheese supplies with chemicals." listed another guard.
"We recommend you don't come back here for a while." said the third guard.
The Louds all sighed in defeat and walked through the parking lot back to Vanzilla. The eleven kids piled in, bickering back and forth a while about who got what seat.
"I wanna sit in the back." said Lana.
"No way Lana, you're sitting up front where I can make sure you don't stick mud under the seats." said Lori.
"I don't desire to be anywhere near Luna," said Lisa. "If I sit near her I can neigh guarantee my tympanic membranes will cease functionality."
"What difference does it make?" said Luna. "Your hearing is already shot by all those chemical explosions you cause!"
"You can sit near me," said Lucy to Lisa from the back row. "Just be sure to extensively describe all the ways we could die on the way home."
"Well the brakes could fail, a low flying plane could-"
"Ahh!" screamed Leni. "We're gonna die!"
"We are not gonna die!" Lori said. "Lisa, stop talking about ways the car could crash."
"Ignorance is bliss I suppose," Lisa muttered.
"Could we end up in a mudslide?" Lana asked Lisa.
"Given that it precipitated for approximately 175.3 minutes yesterday I would say the chances are-"
"No!" shouted Lola. "No more mud! I am not ruining another of my dresses!"
Lana immediately flung a small fistful of dried mud at her twin. Lola clenched her teeth and hissed in response.
"Oh I'm sorry," said Lana sarcastically. "I thought you said you wanted more mud."
Lola shrieked a battle cry as she tackled Lana in a physical brawl.
"Lana! Lola! Stop it!" Lori shouted.
Luna and Luan each grabbed one twin and pulled them to opposite sides of the row. The rocker and comedian buckled them into the seats before they had time to squirm loose.
One seat row back, Lincoln casually slipped into the sweet spot without anyone seeing him. Lynn however noticed immediately after he buckled his seat belt. "Hey how come you get the best seat in the van?" she asked.
"First come first served," said Lincoln.
"Trust me Lynn, you do not wanna sit there." said Lori, looking back through the mirror.
"Why?" asked Lynn and Lincoln together. "What's wrong with the sweet spot?"
"There is no sweet spot anymore," said Lori. "Not since Lisa dropped fecal studies all over it."
"Gah!" Lincoln gasped, jumping out of the seat as if he had a rocket in his pants.
"Lisa, you go sit in the former sweet spot," said Lori. "Lincoln, you take Lisa's spot in the back next to Lucy."
"Fine," sighed Lisa. "At least it's still far away from Luna."
"Drag me down one more time sis," said Luna reaching over the seat and balling a fist in Lisa's face.
"Eeeek!" All chatter and arguing in the van ceased immediately as the shrill scream of Leni filled the ears of the other ten Loud siblings.
"Leni? What's wrong?" asked Lori, turning to the passenger seat where the fashionista sat.
"Spider!" shrieked Leni, pointing to the dash.
Lori glanced up at the dash and saw what she immediately recognized as Luan's fake spider. "Luan!" Quit it!"
"Hahahaha!" laughed Luan as she reached up and grabbed her fake spider off the dash.
Lori started the engine and began to drive. Pulling out of the parking lot and onto the main road back toward home.
"Why does this happen every time we go to Dairyland?" Lucy asked out loud.
"The fact we have not yet been placed on their permanently banned list is nothing shy of a miracle." said Lisa.
"I don't mean to point any fingers," said Lincoln. "But you guys NEED to have better self control when you're out in public places."
"Says the guy who wrote a letter to the governor asking her to legalize wearing nothing but underwear in public." said Lola.
"I find clothes unnecessary," Lincoln said casually.
"I could get behind wearing no clothes," said Lana.
"Ew no!" shouted Lola. "I already see you naked in our room enough as it is!"
"No clothes wouldn't be the worst thing," mused Lynn. "It'd be easier to get banged up but I'd be much more agile."
"Gag," said Lucy.
"Hey c'mon," said Lynn. "My body is a toned masterpiece. I see boys glancing at me all the time."
"Though your chest may as well be Kansas." said Luan.
"Like you have anything to boast about." said Lynn.
"I still remember the time you tried to seduce Benny by putting whoopie cushions in your bra." added Luna.
"Well if you're gonna bring that up I may as well talk about all the times I've seen you sneak out to go skinny dipping at the local pool with Sam." said Luan.
"I thought we were permanently banned from the local pool." said Leni.
"We are permanently banned from the local pool." sighed Lori.
"And it will be the same for Dairyland if you guys don't keep it together next time." said Lincoln.
The siblings all argued back and forth, their voices getting louder and louder.
"Quiet!" shouted Lori. "I literally cannot focus on the road!" The Louds all 'hmphed' and sat in silence for a few minutes.
"Still can't believe we got kicked out of Dairyland again," grunted Lynn, breaking the silence.
"Let's like, think positive thoughts about our Dairyland trip." suggested Leni.
"That's a good idea," said Lori. "Today's trip certainly wasn't all bad. I for one was able to video call Bobby in the tunnel of love without the connection cutting out."
"I was finally tall enough to ride the I-Scream roller coaster." said Lincoln.
"Lana tripping and face planting into that half eaten corn dog was kinda funny," said Lola.
"And it was delicious," said Lana.
"This was the longest I've been able to street perform at Dairyland without getting the boot." said Luna.
"I made a five year old boy cry by predicting that he'll be bitten by a vampire." said Lucy.
"Uh, that's not very positive Lucy," said Lori.
"Positivity is relative," replied Lucy.
"You know," said Lincoln. "Even though every trip to Dairyland ends with us getting kicked out, at least we still have fun memories of the place."
"That's true," said Lana to Lincoln. "Like the time we won tickets to the Milk Shaker from that pageant."
"Or the time we all crowded into one car on the Fondue Falls ride." said Luan.
"Or the time I rode and totally owned that huge cow Ursula." said Lynn.
The mood in Vanzilla was lightening up as all of the Louds recalled their favorite memory from Dairyland.
"How many of you guys remember the first time we went to Dairyland?" asked Lori.
"I do," said Leni.
"Me too," said Luna.
"I think I remember it a little bit," said Luan, puzzling to herself.
"What a crazy day," said Lori with a slight laugh. "It was me, Leni, Luna, Luan, Lynn, Lincoln, Mom and Dad. The rest of you weren't born yet. I remember I was seven."
"Which means Leni would have been six, Luna five, Luan four, Lynn three, and Lincoln one." said Lisa immediately.
"Um yes, thank you, Lisa." said Lori. "Anyway, we had literally just entered the park-"
(flashback to past)
Rita and Lynn Sr walked through the Dairyland entrance, Rita pushing baby Lincoln in a stroller. The other five kids walked behind their parents.
"Okay kids, here we are!" said Lynn Sr whimsically. "Dairyland!"
The young Loud kids all cheered.
"Here's a couple dollars for each of you to spend." said Rita, handing two singles to each kid sans Lincoln.
Lynn Sr pulled out a map. "So I was thinking the first thing we could do is-"
"Excuse me," said a park worker approaching the Loud parents. "Did you by chance lose your kids?"
"We didn't lose our kids." replied Lynn Sr.
"And that's the password." said the worker as he pulled a lever that materialized out of nowhere. The Loud parents suddenly fell into a trap door and were out of sight in an instant.
"Uh, where did Mom and Dad go?" asked Luan, looking around.
"Never mind that," said Lynn. "Let's go ride some rides little bro!" She scooped Lincoln out of the stroller and carried him toward the nearest roller coaster.
"No wait!" shouted Lori. "I want to take Lincoln with me to the Cheese Wheels."
While riding in the car Rita had talked about a number of attractions the park promised to have. Each one appealed to a different sister.
"I wanna take Lincoln to the hall of mirrors!" said Luan.
"I wanna take little bro to the carnival games!" said Luna.
"I wanna take him to the gift shop to try on clothes!" said Leni.
The Loud sisters all argued back and forth. Having a little brother was still a new concept to them and they loved spending time with him. The issue was they rarely were able to agree on how to spend time with him. Hearing his sisters yell at each other caused one year old Lincoln to start crying.
"Now look at what you guys did!" shouted Lori.
"What we did?" said Lynn. "Everything would have been fine if you just agreed to the roller coaster idea."
"Lincoln's not even big enough to-"
"Stop fighting guys!" said Luna. "We're all at fault for making Lincoln's waterworks flow. So now we all have to work together to find a way to cheer him up."
"Well I think the gift shop would help with that," said Leni.
"No way," said Luan. "He'll be laughing in no time in the hall of mirrors."
"We'll try each of our ideas," said Lori. "And as the oldest we are going to try my idea first."
Lynn was about to argue but Lori spun around fast and gave her a scowl. "Stand down!" Even at seven years old the first born Loud child was not afraid of being military level strict with her younger siblings.
Lynn finally relented, and the Loud kids walked in the direction of the Cheese Wheels, Luan grabbing a park map along the way.
The Cheese Wheels ride was similar to that of a teacups ride. But since everything at this park had to be dairy themed, they opted to have the riders sit in cheese wheels as opposed to tea cups.
The six siblings were all strapped down into one wheel, Lincoln sitting on Lori's lap. Soon enough the ride started.
Lori was enjoying herself, spinning around and throwing her hands up. Leni thought the ride was fun, though Luna, Luan and Lynn all felt the ride was kind of boring.
"I think it's working," said Lori. "I don't hear Lincoln crying anymore."
(flashback to present)
"And then Lincoln literally started to laugh," said Lori. "And he wouldn't stop laughing until we got off the ride."
"Wait wait," said Leni. "That isn't what happened."
"It's not?"
"No," said Leni. "After you said 'I don't hear Lincoln crying anymore.' Luan said-"
(flashback to past)
"That may be because he's now green,"
"Luan that joke makes no sense." said Lori.
"That's cause she isn't joking," said Luna.
Lori looked puzzled. She picked Lincoln up and turned him toward her right as his mouth opened and a long steady stream of barf flowed out. "Ahh!" Lori screamed.
"Ew!" Leni and Lynn who were on either side of Lori leaned away, completely avoiding the line of fire, as did Luna and Luan. Lori however was covered head to toe in body fluids and her dad's homemade baby food. And as if to add insult to injury, Lincoln continued to cry.
The four younger Loud sisters all stared at their older sister who was frozen in shock. Lori remained frozen until the ride ended. "Clean up crew to the Cheese Wheels." a worker said into a walkie talkie as they exited.
"That did not work out so great," said Lori. She passed Lincoln over to Luna. "Leni, can you help me clean up in the bathroom?"
"And have to touch disgusting baby barf?" gasped Leni.
"But look at my clothes," said Lori. "This is a fashion emergency that requires your talents."
"Fashion emergency? I'm on it!" Leni was now convinced, and she and Lori made their way toward the park bathrooms.
(flashback to present)
"And that would become my first ever fashion emergency!" said Leni. "After cleaning up in the bathroom, Lori and I rushed to the gift shop and I got her outfitted in all new stylish Dairyland clothes."
"Oh yeah, I do remember that now," said Lori, the teen held back a gag as the memory came back to her.
"Lincoln, you're disgusting!" said Lola.
"I was one year old!" said Lincoln. "I can't tell you how many times you would spit up baby food in my face when you were that age."
"Anyway back on track," said Luna. "While Lori and Leni went to clean up from pukefest, Luan, Lynn, Lincoln and I decided on what to do next."
(flashback to past)
"Let's try the hall of mirrors now!" said Luan, according to this map we're really close to them.
"Pfft, yeah right," scoffed Lynn. "I bet it would be quicker if we-"
Luan grabbed Lynn's small head and spun it around 180 degrees. The hall of mirrors entrance was right there.
"Oh. Fine, fine." sighed Lynn.
The four remaining Loud siblings walked into the hall of mirrors. The walls were lined with various sheets of glass which contorted their reflections into different shapes and sizes.
Luan took Lincoln from Luna and held him up to one of the mirrors. "Look Lincoln, you have a really big head."
Lincoln looked at himself, and giggled.
Luna and Lynn looked at each other in disbelief, Luan for the win?
"And look at this one," continued Luan. "Now you're really tall."
Lincoln giggled more.
"And this one… ah!" Luan jumped back. In this mirror she and Lincoln appeared as themselves but with large ugly cow heads. Lincoln also screamed and began to cry again.
"What boogerhead thought putting a mirror like that in here was a good idea?" said Lynn.
"Lynn, language!" hissed Luan covering Lincoln's ears.
Luan brought Lincoln back to the other mirrors to try and make him laugh again but he was too scared from the cow mirror to pay any notice.
"Come on guys, let's try something different." said Luna. The group exited the hall at the other end. "Where are the carnival games from here?"
"When are we gonna try the roller coasters!?" protested Lynn.
"In a bit," said Luna dismissively. "I know little bro is gonna cheer up when we win him a new stuffed animal."
After a few minutes of following the map, the siblings found a large pathway full of games and confectionery vendors. Lynn grew excited. "Ooh ooh! I wanna play a game where I get to throw a ball!" She ran ahead while Luna and Luan walked down the path, the latter carrying Lincoln.
Luan stopped when she felt Lincoln squirming. She and Luna turned to see Lincoln flailing his arms toward a small stuffed rabbit wearing a purple shirt. The rabbit was hanging by a string next to various other stuffed animals. The carnival stand it hung at was small and dirty, and run by none other than Flip.
"Bah-bah!" the small boy uttered.
"I think he likes that little rabbit plush." said Luan.
"I'll try and win it for him." said Luna. She handed Flip a dollar and he gave her three rings.
"The object of the game is to slip all three rings around the three bottles." said Flip. "Good luck." a sinister smirk spread across his mustached face.
Luna held the first ring and aimed it as best she could. And with a swift flick of the wrist, she landed the first one on the bottle.
Luan grabbed the second ring and gave it a light toss. It whizzed for a moment then landed on the second bottle.
"Wacha guys doing?" asked Lynn, walking back over while eating a large cone of cotton candy.
"Trying to win Lincoln a stuffed rabbit." said Luan.
"Lemme help!" said Lynn. She grabbed the third ring with her free hand and backed away from the stand. When the small athlete was around one meter away, she threw the ring as hard as her little arm would allow. It soared through the air like a flying saucer, headed straight for the third bottle. Luna and Luan's eyes widened in amazement.
Right when the ring was about to land, the bottle jerked left and it missed. "Better luck next time chief." said Flip.
"What!? Exclaimed Lynn. "Major foul!"
"I call baloney on that!" said Luan. "I saw the bottle deliberately move out of the way."
"It did not," said Flip condescendingly. "You probably just imagined that. I'm an adult and you're just a bunch of little kids with overactive imaginations."
"Hang on guys," said Luna. "I still have one more dollar left, so we can try again."
"But who's to say the bottle won't move on its own again?" said Luan.
"If you're not feeling confident in your ability to do the ring toss, then try the ball throw," Flip suggested. "It's much easier."
The sisters all shrugged at each other. "Alright,"
Luna pulled out her second and final dollar and Flip nabbed it at the speed of light. He then handed the siblings three baseballs. "Just knock down all three bottles with the balls and you win."
Luna threw the first baseball and knocked down the first bottle. Luan followed suit with the second and was also successful. Once again it was all up to Lynn. She aimed the ball right at the bottle, but then out of the corner of her eye saw that sleazy carny looking at her with such a devious smile. She knew as soon as the ball left her hand the bottle was going to move again, so she redirected her aim and threw the ball.
The baseball missed the bottle by a wide margin, but hit Flip squarely in the nose. "Gah!" he gasped. The ball then bounced back and knocked the bunny plush loose from its string, and it fell right into Lincoln's arms.
"Run!" shouted Luan. The three sisters booked it away from the stand, Lincoln still being held by Luan.
"Hey you cheated!" Flip called after them. "That's supposed to be my thing!"
Luna rounded a corner and bumped right into Leni, the two falling over backwards from the collision. Luan and Lynn screeched to a halt and caught their breath.
"What were you guys running from?" asked Lori.
"Um," Luan hesitated.
"You know what, I don't even wanna know." said Lori.
"And it looks like you guys finally got Linky happy." said Leni, admiring her baby brother staring at his new toy.
"Awwww," cooed the five sisters.
"What are you gonna name it little bro?" Luna asked softly.
"Buh-, Bun-Bun," Lincoln replied.
The five sisters awed even more.
"Bun-Bun it is!" proclaimed Luan.
(flashback to present)
"So that's how I got Bun-Bun," mused Lincoln.
"Sure is," said Luna. "Best dollar I ever spent."
"Though it was my throw that ultimately won him the toy," boasted Lynn. "Even at three years old my throwing arm was amazing."
"Though if I wasn't holding Lincoln in that exact spot, he wouldn't have caught the toy when it fell." said Luan.
"Well that just means you each helped me get Bun-Bun," said Lincoln. "And I could not be more thankful."
"No prob," said Luna.
"Anything to make you hoppy," said Luan. "Hahahaha!"
"Anytime brosef," said Lynn.
"But the story doesn't end there," said Lori. "After that Lynn still really wanted to ride the roller coasters."
(flashback to past)
"Can we go to the roller coasters now?" groaned Lynn.
"Okay okay," said Lori. "Well go ride a roller coaster now."
"YES!" exclaimed Lynn. "Let's go ride the most crazy, dangerous one there is!"
"No Lynn," said Lori. "We should go on a more tame one for Lincoln's sake."
Lynn groaned.
"The Music Coaster looks fun." said Luna, looking at the map.
Luan glanced at the map over Luna's shoulder. "No no, let's go on the Laughing Coaster."
"Why don't we let Lincoln decide?" said Leni.
"He can't choose," said Lori. "He's just a baby."
Ignoring her older sister, Leni looked right into Lincoln's eyes and asked him. "Which roller coaster would you want to go on?"
Lincoln slowly raised a small arm and pointed toward the Milk Man Express, the highest and fastest roller coaster DairyLand had at the time.
"Aw sweet! Great choice Lincoln!" said Lynn as she ran toward the ride's entrance.
"Well if it's what he wants," said Leni as she scooped Lincoln from Luan's grasp and walked toward the ride as well.
Luna and Luan looked at each other, they were both curious at how this would go down and followed behind Leni.
"Guys no!" said Lori. "Come back here!" But none of her siblings listened. She sighed. "This is going to end badly."
Lynn reached the entrance first. The way the ride was set up is that the line started inside a small building that housed the roller coaster's terminal. When the line would grow long, it would zig zag its way out of the building. A worker stood at the building's front entrance, however he was busy smoking a cigarette, and did not see three year old Lynn run past him.
The other five Loud siblings reached the entrance but the worker noticed them and stopped them. "Woah hold it little buddies," he said. "This is a very intense coaster and none of you are big enough to ride."
"We know," said Lori. "But our little sister ran in there. Can you maybe radio to another worker to get her out of there?"
"Not possible. No little kids get past me," boasted the worker. "I have eagle eyes." He gestured to his eyes with his cigarette, only to fling specks of burning ash into them. "Gah! Son of a b-"
The Loud kids all slapped their hands over their ears before he could finish his sentence. All except for Lincoln who was too young to understand what was going on. The worker held his hands over his eyes in agony, and the kids took this opportunity to slip past him.
"There's Lynn!" said Luna pointing. Lynn was climbing into the back car of the roller coaster.
"Are none of the ride operators seeing this?" asked Lori.
"Apparently not," said Leni.
The other five Loud siblings navigated past the people waiting in line and climbed into the rear car as well, just as the ride was starting up.
"Hey you guys made it." said Lynn.
"Lynn, we are getting off this ride right now," said Lori.
Before any of the Louds could make another move, a loud buzzer sounded, the automated handlebars in each coaster car lowered down, and the ride started to move.
"What's happening?" asked Leni, clutching Lincoln tight against her chest.
"The ride is moving," said Luna.
As they rode past the ride operator, Lori shouted and waved to try and get his attention. But he did not see or hear her as he was facing the other way and listening to an MP3 player.
"Why does this park have the most oblivious staff on Earth!?" Lori cried out in frustration.
"Oh boy, here we go," moaned Luan as the coaster started up a steep incline.
The roller coaster got higher and higher in the sky. Lori and Leni held onto each other and Lincoln in concern. Lynn looked around excitedly. Luna and Luan were not as scared as their two older sisters but were still somewhat nervous about what was to come.
Finally the coaster reached its peak, and within seconds the Louds were all flying downhill faster than any of them had ever traveled. All six of them screamed, some in excitement and others in fear.
Lynn jumped up out of the seat and held her hands up. The high speeds and wind resistance almost made her fall out of the car but Luan caught her, but then she almost fell out of the car holding onto Lynn but Luna caught her. This process repeated until a long chain of Loud siblings was gliding in the breeze just above the rear car of the roller coaster. Lori held onto the handle bar with her feet as hard as she could, but could feel them slipping. "This is why we shouldn't have come on this ride!" she screamed.
Lori felt her feet slip off the bars but something caught them, it was Lincoln, or rather his diaper. Lincoln had used his diaper to tie a knot between Lori's ankle and the roller coaster handlebar.
"Lincoln! You saved us!" said Lori.
"Yay Linky!"
"Way to go little bro!"
Lincoln smiled and clapped hearing his sisters happily commend him.
As the ride came close to its end, the speed slowed down and the sisters were able to quickly yet safely climb back into the car. By the time they were all safely seated again, it had arrived back in the terminal.
"That ride was amazing!" shouted Lynn.
Mrs. Johnson and Mr. Bolhofner, who were riding in the car in front of the Louds, heard Lynn and turned around. "Aren't you kids a little young to be on this ride?" asked Mrs. Johnson.
"Well, you see-" stammered Lori.
"Agnes, it's Summer," said Mr. Bolhofner. "They're not our problem."
"Fair point," shrugged Mrs. Johnson as she and her fellow teacher turned back around.
The Louds stepped off the ride dizzy and gasping for breath.
"Told you that ride would be sick." said Lynn.
"Yeah, it sure made me sick." said Luan.
"And me," said Leni.
"But Lincoln is happy," said Lynn. "You're welcome."
"Well at least there's that," said Lori.
"Though after that ride I wouldn't mind curling up in a ball and crying for a while," said Leni.
"Come on guys," said Lori. "Let's go get something at the gift shop."
Finally it was Leni's turn to have fun. She dressed her little brother up in as many different outfits as she could given the limited selection. "What do you think?" she asked.
Lincoln was dressed in a light blue shirt with a Dairyland logo in the middle and large pink flip flops.
"It's a little big on him," commented Lori.
"He'll grow into them," said Leni.
"Yeah, in about five years," said Luan.
"Linky, what do you think?" asked Leni.
"Uh uh," baby Lincoln shook his head.
"Okay we'll try something else," said Leni.
"How about this?" Next Lincoln was wearing a Dairyland visor around his waist with udder shaped sunglasses.
"Hmm, very alternative but for a baby such as yourself you totes pull it off."
"Uh totes?" said Luna.
"Yeah, short for totally," said Leni. "I just thought of it."
"Perhaps we should switch the visor with a bib." suggested Lori.
"Good idea," said Leni. She put the visor back on the rack and grabbed a bib, tying it around Lincoln's little neck. "O-M-Gosh it's perfect!"
"Uhh,"
"Short for Oh My Gosh," said Leni. "I just thought of that one too."
"What does Lincoln think of it?" asked Lori.
"Ala," baby Lincoln shook his head yes.
"We have a winner," clapped Leni. "Let's go get rung up."
The six Loud siblings walked over to the checkout and placed the bib and sunglasses on the counter. "Two dollars even," said the cashier.
"Who has any money left?" asked Lori. "Leni and I spent ours on my new shirt."
"I spent mine on the carney stand," said Luna.
"I spent mine on cotton candy," said Lynn.
"I still gave my two dollars," said Luan, handing them to the cashier.
The cashier took the money, tucked it in the cash register drawer, bagged the two accessories, and handed the bag back to the Loud kids. "Thank you for shopping at the DairyLand Gift Shop." she said unenthusiastically.
The six Loud kids stepped out of the gift shop's exit, which was right next to the park's exit. At the same time, Rita and Lynn Sr walked out of a dark tent looking more relaxed than ever before. They each wore a shirt with the word 'kids' covered by a red circle and diagonal slash on them.
"There you kids are," said Rita.
"Did you have a good time?" asked Lynn Sr.
Lori, Leni, Luna, Luan, and Lynn all looked at each other. Then each voiced their thoughts at the same time.
"Yeah," said Lori.
"Pretty fun time," said Leni.
"It's a groovy park," said Luna.
"I'd come back," said Luan.
"Best day of my life!" said Lynn.
"It looks like Lincoln enjoyed himself as well," said Rita, taking him from Leni's arms.
"Alright Louds let's head out." said Lynn Sr leading his family toward the park exit.
The Loud family navigated the parking lot and found Vanzilla amidst the hundreds of other cars. Rita strapped Lincoln into his car seat as the other sisters piled into the other seats.
Lynn Sr started the engine once everyone was buckled up and drove toward the parking lot's exit.
"Mama?" said Lincoln.
"Yes Lincoln?" asked Rita, turning to look at her son in his car seat.
"Whu duh word b-" a loud pop emitted from Vanzilla's exhaust. "-mean?"
Rita's eyes grew wide. "Where did you hear that word!?"
The Louds sisters all looked at each other. The smoking park worker had taught their little brother his first 'no-no word'.
(flashback to present)
"And that was literally our family's first trip to Dairyland." finished Lori.
"I wish I was born at the time." said Lana.
"Me too," said Lucy. "A near death experience like that would have been absolutely bone chilling."
"I wish I could remember that day," said Lincoln.
"I think Mom and Dad took a photo of us at the front gate before we went inside," said Leni. "If we look around in the attic when we get home maybe we can find it."
"While we're at it we could dig out some of our other old DairyLand photos and make a collage," said Lola.
All of the siblings voiced approval at this idea.
"It is clear despite our family's trend of getting extracted from the premises," said Lisa. "We all hold fond recollections of the lacticinia themed amusement park."
"I just have one question?" asked Lana. "What was the word that Lincoln learned that day?"
The five older Loud sisters' faced all paled. "Um, well…" began Lori.
"Boogerhead!" said a quick thinking Lynn. "Lincoln learned the word boogerhead that day."
"Lynn, language!" hissed Lola covering Lily's ears.
