Dio Brando, the vampire was actually here. The same man that killed Pucci's family, killed countless others. The one who tormented the Joestar line for generations. And here he was, in Kannamura, smirking at them. As if none of them, not even Kars, belonged in his presence.
Everyone was stunned at this Dio, who looked slightly different than how Pucci and Kars had described him. He was still blond and still had the same arrogant smirk as before. He was wearing a dark cape, a shirt with what looked like two capital E's back-to-back with arrows coming out of the ends, though some arrows were twisted. The design had what looked like a cord or wire wrapped around it. He was also wearing bandages around his shoulders, wrist cuffs and black pants. But, the most alarming thing, was the holes in his hands and feet, just like Jesus.
That was what most likely caused Pucci to react the most. He started crying, muttering about his lord and the holes. He summoned his stand, Whitesnake and Karaat noticed arrows appearing all over the body of the stand. Shit, he wasn't sure what that did, stand-wise, but he wasn't sure if he wanted to find out. Unfortunately, as soon as Pucci started to levitate, becoming the center of gravity, making it difficult to just get out of the way. As Karaat moved to use his body to protect Chiyako, he heard her gasp and cry out in shock. He stole a glance, cursing as he realized that Pucci had a new stand.
The stand, which after a quick declaration from Pucci, he realized was called C-Moon was humanoid with a skeletal face. The Stand's eyes were red with thick, spiked eyelashes. It's face, despite being skeletal, had vein-like texted and patterns on its face. He recognized the Whitesnake's script on its chest, hips, crown and top of its head. The head looked very similar to Whitesnake's head with the spiked crown as well as having the same figure. There was what looked like arrows sticking out on its head, shoulders, arms, and legs. And, to top it all off, the back and side of its head as well as a belt there was a long arrow tipped tail that looked like there was a fur element to it.
Unfortunately, seconds later, the body started to crack and much to everyone's horror, a new stand emerged, this one called Made in Heaven. Made in Heaven was surprisingly thin compared to the previous stands that Pucci had revealed. The top half was humanoid but at the waist, it fused into a horse, though it only had the front side and now the back side. There was a cable that went from between the humanoid's part, near the shoulder blades, to the back of the horse part. The horse part wore blinders and reins that the human part held, as if controlling it. The humanoid had a long collar of feathers as well as a crown of thorny vines. The head of the humanoid was elongated with a shiny black surface. Where it's eyes and nose should be, there was a clock face embedded in. The mouth was the part emitting light and Karaat noticed that this was the one version of the stand without the wording on its body like Whitesnake and C-Moon. It also had large speedometers on its body where the joint of the horse's legs and the horse's forehead, as well as smaller ones on the side of the humanoid's shoulders, forearms, the back of its hands, and on the horse's blinders.
"Not good, not good," Karaat muttered, especially when he saw movement out of the corner of his eye and saw Funny activating his own stand. Damn it, they needed to get out of there! He held Chiyako close, who was clearly terrified as she had only recently come to learn about stands, and it was a very brief explanation that definitely didn't prepare her for this. Karaat noticed that while the rest of them were surrounded, Pucci was not.
The stand was humanoid with large upright horns that resembled ears and a mask that covered its eyes and a bit of its nose. Its body was light with what looked like an unbroken seam, almost like a baseball. Under the mask, its eyes were giving a cold gaze. What was surrounding them was a wall of golden light that closed them in on all four sides. He glanced over at Pucci, unsure what to do.
"Looks like we caught your group," Funny explained, smirking. "So, now what will you do? Especially when I could hurt them. Oh, poor little Pucci. Trying to act like he could protect everyone, and then failing as usual in the end!"
"The only thing I can do," Pucci muttered, focusing. Activating Made in Heaven, and once it was over. They were still in Kannamura, but this time, they were in the year 2025 in the thirty-seventh universe. Pucci had looped the universe 36 times. By now, the building that had been destroyed was nothing more than a bit of rubble, practically pebbles, worn away by time and multiple universes. And, even more unfortunate, Pucci was gone.
Karaat cursed as they looked around, trying to find any sign of him. When they didn't find him, he sighed, turning to the others. "So, what now? How do we even start looking for him, let alone what should we do?"
Jorge sighed softly, shaking his head. This was a mess, and now they were missing a member! "I'm starting to wonder if our four-hour journey, which should have taken six months, was possible because of Pucci and that stand he just did."
As Narancia shrugged, Kars shook his head. "Thats not it. That priest has a complicated flow of time compressed within him. Because of that, while he was on the space ship with us, he was also killing someone in another universe. I would explain more, but I feel like that's the easiest way to understand what's going on."
"How is any of this possible," Chiyako whispered, shaking her head. "I mean, I know I can see stands, but when is there a limit? When is it enough?"
Kars chuckled, "Sometimes I ask that question about you humans. But let's be honest, almost every time, your race has exceeded my expectations and even surprised me multiple times. It seems maybe there isn't a limit for your race, despite having limited capabilities compared to my race. Maybe all you need is creativity and determination to even shock me."
Karaat sighed and walked over, sitting next to Chiyako on a log that was nearby. He wasn't sure if it was the same log that had killed her grandfather all those years ago, and a part of him didn't want to know, if he was going to be honest, he really didn't want to know. He reached over, rubbing her back as he said, "I'm sure he's okay. Let's just take a moment and rest before we figure out what else to do."
As she nodded, Kars looked around. "Not for long, we have a lot to do. And we can't let Dio do whatever he wants." As Jorge and Narancia sat down as well, he kept an eye on the perimeter. He doubted anything would attack, but it was better to be careful and not get hit with an ambush.
Pucci hated this world. He knew that it hopefully meant his allies were safe, but still. He, of course, had to land here. Here, was a world where all of his desires and actions were in vain. It was essential an eternal torture for him. He wasn't sure if Funny sent him here on purpose, though he wouldn't put it past him if he did. Until he found a way to get out, he would be here, forced to wander for all eternity.
He sees something out of the corner of his eye and his heads whips to the object. He squints at the figure. It's a person. Is that…Karaat? But he looks younger. Like a mirage the figure vanishes. Pucci shakes his head, muttering under his breath, he stretched before continuing, keeping his head up. He wouldn't let Funny win!
