Civilian ships: In comparison to most civilizations civilian vessels, humanities can be considered over gunned and over Armored. This is a remnant of humanities time as an inter-planetary/non-FTL civilization alongside their extremely advanced life support technology. In travel between planets and systems human ships were extremely vulnerable to astroids and the designs of human ships reflect that with high quality sensors to detect astroids, thick armor to absorb small hits, and weapons to deflect or destroyed them. This became a significant boon to humanities merchant fleet, as they could detect pirates farther out than most other species ships, and could defeat converted civilian vessels while having enough time to get away from former military vessels. Human ships also had superior life support systems allowing them to travel farther distances without ports of call, opening new markets unavailable to other species. This comes at a cost though, alien ships of similar size to human ships are generally of a lower cost because of the lack of these features. To compensate most human tankers and transports were significantly larger than contemporary alien ships, allowing economy of scale to even out the prices per cubic meter.

drones: drones are ubiquitous in human society and that does not exclude space. There are multiple different types of drones used by humanity in space. They are significantly cheaper than piloted vessels and can usually do the job better.

Construction drones: commonly used for space construction, they are significantly cheaper than their human counterparts and substantially superior in workmanship.

Mining drones: these drones are used to survey, sample, and extract mineral deposits on astroids.

Survey drone: Used commonly for the e exploration of systems, survey drones carry multiple different active and passive sensors to catalogue all significant objects in a solar system.

Combat drones: There are three separate classes of combat drone, light, medium, and heavy. They are each used for a different purpose and have different specifications.

Light: more commonly called interceptors, these drones are used as a extension to the defense grid of individual ships. The primary interceptor of the systems alliance at the time of the first contact war was the trident

Background: Gunboats are less a class or type of ship and more a concept, put old guns on a skeletal hull with with a reactor (or battery's), engines, and simplistic control VI. These ships then act like mobile orbital defense platforms for a lower cost than a purposed built ODP. They're are many types of gunboats, from the small Pahlawan class (30 m) equipped with 4 127 mm railguns stripped off of decommissioned USN ships, to the Niezwyciężony class (400 m) commonly called the cruiser harmonica for its 9 ,740 mm railguns stripped off the EUN's Warsaw class cruisers. There are three main classifications of gunboat:

light gunboat: Usually larger than a heavy drone to around the size of a PT boat, light gunboats are used to defend and patrol, minor, colonies or mining outpost. Many pirates use light gunboats built off civilian ships or purpose built and armed with railguns created in 3-D printers as their ship of choice. A notable light gunboat was the Liberty, previously the USS prestigious. The liberty was used in the third American Civil War by a anti-argumentation terrorist group called HLF (human liberation front) to attack pro augmentation colonies around Saturn until its destruction by the USS Chesapeake.

heavy gunboat: Around the sides of a PT boat, too slightly larger than I frigate, heavy gun boats are used to protect more important colonies than light gunboats. They are usually equipped with the removed, spinal mounted weaponry of cruisers.

Gunbarge: gun barges are the largest iteration of the gunboat concept, commonly the same size or larger than a cruiser, and usually out gunning one, Gunbarges are used for the protection of important colonies, and sometimes used in fleet battles alongside cruisers. The most famous Gunbarge to ever exist in human space was the Overlord, 790 m flagship of the Galilean Liberation League, a organization that fought against the United States and European Union during the Jovian wars (1'st 2205-2211, 2'nd [When the Overlord was the flagship] 2221-2230). The Overlord was constructed from components and weapons from over 30 destroyed ships leading to an extremely powerful, but maintenance intensive warship. The Overlord was eventually destroyed during the battle of Ganymede when it was attacked by heavy drones from the USS John Johnson, and USS John Paul Jones.

background: designed to get an entire battalion of marine robots on the ground, the raven class heavy dropship is relatively bare-bones. Consisting of a reactor, 4 heavy lift engines attached to the side in pods capable of rotating 90, fuel, and it's payload of troops. Due to the lack of defenses, they must be escorted by light drones to the drop zone, but due to their extremely low cost and lack of human crew, losing even dozens of them in an assault are considered acceptable losses.

Carthage class strategic warfare cruisers:

Background: named for destroyed cities in human history, the Carthage class was originally designed by the systems alliance in case of the discovery of an alien threat that required significant planet wide destruction. Well, the classes existence is known to the public, the locations of the five ships of the class (SSV Carthage, SSV Pompeii, SSV Hiroshima, SSV, Nagasaki, and SSV Annapolis,) are always obscured, with the ships hiding in Oort clouds or interstellar Space. Due to the possibility that their ordinance would be required to be used after the extinction of humanity(and thus any chain of command), the captains have full capability to launch there payloads. Each of the captains were thoroughly screened for extreme loyalty to humanity over loyalty to individuals, or even the government, and integrated with their ships permanently.
