Chapter 2 - Chance Meeting II: Crimson Cutlass
2/24/2024 Church, Fairdale Hills, Siesta City Midnight - Clear Sky
The church… It always has to be a church of all places… I have read notes from D from my notepad about how the Holy Grail War requires an Overseer sent by the church to supervise the war. That's all I heard about but explains just that. Me and my Servant Rider stood there as we looked at it… But thanks to the map… It was located in the Fairdale Hills district. It was just up that hill where behind us was more of a luxurious high-class residential district from afar. But the long we stood there…
"Master. It would have been wise to enter inside the church to see this… Overseer of this war. Is he also a worshiper of Bishamonten?" Rider asked me about it as I shrugged.
"The overseer most likely isn't… Let's just go inside. I just got a bad feeling about it… just gives me the chills. But… Rider… Can you go into Spirit Form?" I asked her as she nodded as she quickly disappeared out of thin air. "Thanks…"
With her being in a Spirit Form, I bravely pushed the doors open as I entered inside… Just as I did so. There was a mysterious blonde man who was seen talking to himself as he had a book open. But he was reading out the lines next to that large portrait of an angel… Yet, the air feels stiff here. I kept walking until I stopped, knowing well about my range of personal spaces.
"Hey, I'm here." I said to him as he instantly closed his book after hearing my voice.
"So… a lost soul arrives at the edge of the precipice. Knowing cluelessly that a man would set his foot on this foreign soil. A war hidden from the eyes of the masses." The priest then turns around to reveal his face where his eyes were always closed. "Dis-moi, mon garçon… Have you come for your confessions? If you are… I'm afraid you should turn back on this unforgivable night."
"That's not what I'm here for, priest." I said to him with a serious tone. I'm starting to hate that guy… "I have this…"
I presented the Command Seal on my hand despite his eyes being closed. But knowing that he'll believe me…
"Intéressant… If you would have said that you're here for the war… Perhaps you should have said it in the first place. After all, a boy should be careful when choosing words." The priest then continues. "I am Frederick Leveilleur, the Overseer of the War. While I am sent by the Church to observe and determine the outcome of the war. I, myself, have no right to take part in this farce. Now then… State your name."
"Ryuga Ashikaga… I am the Master of Rider." I introduced myself as Frederick smirked a little.
"I see… Could you present your Servant to me?" Frederick asked me as I stayed silent with my composure. After a few seconds… "So you would not reveal your Servant, then? That is fine… for now. Most participants usually present their Servants to complete my confirmation. So alas… That makes you the seventh participant of this Holy Grail War. Rejoice, child. For that you have my thanks…"
"I owe you nothing. I'm only here to kill the competition. The last one standing will receive the Holy Grail, right? The thing that can grant any wish, right?" I continued. "So I'm going to win this war in no time…"
"Be careful of what you say, Garçon… If you're this confident in taking a fight to your enemies such as the Servants… you would not survive in this war. After all, this is a battle royale. A game of kill or be killed, non?" Frederick said with his usual tone. That's the priest alright…
"Don't care… Now that I'm here… Will this war finally commence?" I asked him as he nodded.
"Oui. With you being here… I can finally allow the Siesta Holy Grail War to commence… Though, one more piece of advice." Frederick continued. "Do be careful when it comes to encountering ruffians… They do know the existence now. So please execute them if necessary."
Ruffians? Wait… the gang members that Rider killed… Plus, there is a rule of this war… if an outsider takes notice of it… They are to be silenced and killed on the spot. Regardless if it's a bystander.
"Uh huh… I'll be leaving now…" I waved my hand off as I decided to leave the building.
"Very well… May the Lord bless you, Ashikaga…" Frederick said his words as I sighed. Finally leaving the church. Just as I did, walking outside just to get some fresh air… Rider had materialized next to me.
"How did that go, Master? Did you also pray to Bishamonten there as well?" Rider asked me about it… about Frederick… It was an uneasy discussion but I managed to secure myself a place to take part in the war which was a giving.
"It was… okay… and could you stop bringing up this whole Bishamonten stuff, Rider?" I continued. "We're here to win this war. You kill Servants and I kill Masters. So it should be easy for us."
"Don't be so sour, Master! After all, you have me! All you need to do is to give me an order and I'll answer without question!" Rider said with confidence as she continued. "Now that we get to fight… Who are we going to fight today?"
"No one." I continued. "We're heading back to Vaporsea and staying low for the night. We've already had too much fair shares with those armed gang members and that Lancer. Therefore… I'm tired."
"Is that so? I was expecting more fights to come by but very well… as your Servant, I'll accept your choice. Do not fret, I have Houshoutsukige ready!" Rider said as she presented her steed where the horse was eating grass from a nearby tombstone that belonged to a dead person. She then gets on and lends out her hand. "Get on, Master!"
I accepted as I grabbed her hand as I got on the back of her horse as Rider began galloping off down the road in order to return back to the apartment with haste. As I continue to hold on to Rider while she rides the horse down in the quiet streets of Fairdale Hills. I begin to ponder about the risks I've taken. Sure, I'll never come back to living a normal life now as my life is thrown right into the warzone where Servants fight Servants. But, there is a quick strategy to deal with this situation. If a Master with any offensive-type magecraft fights a Servant. They'll die. But if you fight against a Master, this will increase the chance to force their Servant in defeat. Sure, the Master and Servants are bonded like an invisible rope knotted together. I maintained my focus as we continued to head back.
[TWO HOURS LATER…]
As I safely made it back to the Vaporsea Hotel back in the low-class district of San Aldecado with no harm or any enemy Servants that would come to invade us by now. I had already asked Rider to go in her Spirit Form and stay on a lookout for any potential enemies. I was already sound asleep for hours on end in my own bedroom. The mattress felt a little uncomfortable for some reason but I never bothered. That is until I was dragged into the dreams… it wasn't my dream but instead… It was someone else. I woke up in a dreamscape where I was seen standing on something… a wood floor? And outside was the courtyard with a zen garden. However, there were various figures that look like humans standing there. However, they were complete scribbles as I cannot tell what they look like. But the sounds of wooden swords clanged as one of the figures fell while dueling.
Torachiyo: "Ahahahaha! Are you alright, Brother? I only tapped you."
But… except one… It was Rider but… younger… And there's that same smile again.
Douichimaru: "F-Father! I can't take it anymore! I don't want to be Torachiyo's opponent!"
Torachiyo: "Come on Brother, don't be like that. Let's keep sparring!"
And that must be her brother… yet I still can't see all these scribbles from the bodies except this Torachiyo that he called her. But the larger figure of an adult stepped in to confront her.
Nagao Tamekage: "…That's enough. Stand back, Douichimaru."
Douichimaru: "…O-Okay…"
The man begins to look at her…
Torachiyo: "Father! Did you see how well I did?"
Nagao Tamekage: "Go away, Torachiyo! I don't want to even look at you! How could you make a laughing stock of your brother like that!?"
Aya: "That's not fair, Father!"
Another scribbled figure appears…
Aya: "Torachiyo was only sparring with Douichimaru because you told her to!"
Nagao Tamekage: "Silence, Aya! Just look at her eyes! Those are the eyes of a monster, not a person!"
Tamekage then proceeds to swiftly slap Torachiyo on her cheeks hard, which leaves the red slap mark on her face… but she's still smiling…
Torachiyo: "Ahahaha! Don't be silly, Father! I'm not a monster!"
Nagao Tamekage: "Eep! There, you see! That's exactly what I'm talking about! No matter how hard you hit her, she just keeps smiling! It's not right!"
Tamekage then turns around and leaves with a word…
Nagao Tamekage: "That does it! I'm sending you away from the temple! I never want to see you again!"
Torachiyo: "Why is Father so upset, sister? Sparring is no fun unless Brother comes at me more seriously!"
Then… Aya gets close to her and feels her face.
Aya: "Oh Torachiyo… You poor thing… You don't even know why Father and Brother are so scared of you, do you…?"
Torachiyo: "Ahahahaha! No, I don't. Why ARE they scared of me?"
Aya stood back a little with a sigh.
Aya: "...Oh, Buddha, why was Torachiyo given such godlike strength? She'll never be able to understand how ordinary people feel now…"
Torachiyo: "Ahahahaha! What are you talking about, Sister? I don't understand!"
Aya: "…Poor Torachiyo. All other people must seem weak and insignificant to you."
Aya then continued to talk to her…
Aya: "…Listen to me, Torachiyo. If you want to live among others, you need to worship the Buddha and spend your life practicing the five virtues. It's okay if you don't understand them, but you need to learn what they mean to the people around you."
I started to notice the eyes of Torachiyo… it looks strange but she still smiles.
Torachiyo: "Okay, Sister! I'll make sure to practice the five virtues every day! I promise!"
Then… the whole area of light swallows everything whole as I start to float around the white void as I start to wake up… The dream of someone's past… is over…
2/25/2024 Vaporsea Hotel, San Aldecado, Siesta City Morning - Clear Sky
I started to open my eyes as the sunlight was shining on me, covering my face with my arm to adjust my surroundings as I got up. I checked the time as it was 8 AM… Did I get enough sleep today? I honestly don't know. I begin to yawn and stretch my arms and back in order to start a new day… The first night is over and so begins my second day here in this crime-ridden city of paradise. I wonder how Rider is doing… But oh well. I left the bedroom and headed straight for the living room where I reached for the fridge near the kitchen. As I opened it… all was left… was a piece of bread. You know what? Nevermind… I'm going out. I took a can of cola instead and closed the fridge. Opening the can of it, I gave it a drink as I headed right out the door. As soon as I locked it and prepared to go out to go about my day…
"Good morning, Master! I see you're well rested!" Rider spoke behind me which gave me a sudden reaction.
"UWWAH!" I jumped as I eventually dropped the can off the second floor, wasting my drink in the process. I let out my sight but I was rather angry a little. "D-Don't scare me like that, Rider! And not too loud… Geez…"
"And also, did you pray to Bisha-" I interrupted her.
"No. I didn't. Anyways… I'm going out today but…" I continued and pointed at her. "You need a change of clothes!"
"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Rider tilted her head a little in confusion as I placed my fingers to rub my forehead to provide explanation.
"What I'm saying is… you can't be out in public with that… samurai armor of yours. I'll pay for your clothes with my money… and with that… I'm going to go to that sushi restaurant that has one of those finest sakes."
"Sake, you say?" Rider smirked. " Alright… I'll accept it."
"We will but first… Clothes. So you can blend in with the locals." I said to her to remind her about it. Though, she doesn't seem to care. I get the feeling that she doesn't understand… Well, whatever… "However, go Spirit Form just in case. Once that, I'll give you a go ahead."
Rider has once again disappeared in thin air as I headed downstairs and made my way to Pacifica Square once again. I looked at the bike that was left alone nearby as I decided to take it since I don't know who owns it. I honestly didn't care as I pedaled my way down on the bike road they have. It might take long but I know. I just hope I can stay out of trouble…
Third Person POV
Meanwhile somewhere in Pacifica Square were two men with suits who were seen walking down on the sidewalk as one of the men got to his sedan as the other got inside it. Though, one of the men was rather disgruntled about it.
"This makes no sense… Why Siesta?" The red suit man asked him. "C'mon, Troy… Say something…"
"What do you mean by that, John?" Troy asked him.
"We tried asking the guys at the Mages Association in New York about this whole situation… They ain't listening…" John continued. "So much for that damn Holy Grail War they managed to replicate from the Third War…"
"So? It was a success. So there was no problem with it. All we gotta do is to enjoy and see the chaos unfold." Troy said as John groaned in annoyance.
"But still! Siesta! Out of all cities… They had to choose that man-made island?" John was a little exaggerated.
"And what was the better solution that you tried to convince them last time?" Troy asked him about it as John slumped on the front passenger seat.
"We tried talking to them about setting the war in Snowfield in Nevada. They rejected it. Then, I tried asking them about Lakeshore, Illinois. They reject that, too! And they decided to handle it upon themselves and choose that failed paradise for no reason… This is bullshit!" John complained over it as Troy sighed.
"Uh huh… Enough with your complaining. I've already received reports from the guys back at the Association. I never expected the Grail to allow the summoning of seven Servants to be doubled. It's 100% an error they created. Hell, not even I can't even find it…" Troy pondered about it as the latter looked at him.
"Well, did it materialize?" John asked.
"The hell do I know? Look, we need to get back to New York and inform you of this situation. We got the guy from the Church, sure. It's weird that he's playing it along… What the hell is going on here on this island…" Troy thought as he thinked about it until.
[CLICK]
The sound of a gun was brandished as the pistol was aimed right towards their heads. John and Troy noticed to see what's going on but quickly realized the situation.
"You are from the Association, right? In New York?" Bryce said as Ophelia was with him as she had her gun ready along with two other armed soldiers with pistols as well. "I heard you plan to do something regarding this Grail War… We're not gonna let you do that. You know what happens to snitches, right? They die."
"Oh fuck… OH FU-" Troy was panicking until all four took shots at the two through the car windows along with the windshield.
[BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG! RATATATATATATATA!]
The sound of gunfire was set off as they continued to brutally kill the two from the Association as blood splattered from the interior everywhere. They all stopped firing as they looked through the window to see them shot to death, from the torso and the head. Bryce then whistled as he was rather impressed.
"Well done, guys. We got the criminals. A job well done." Bryce lied as they saw pedestrians running for their lives after gunshots were heard from them. "No, actually… We prevent them from escaping. If they succeed. The Grail War would surely be dismantled. No way our mayor would allow that leak to happen. After all… he hired us to do the job."
"Commander Bryce?" Ophelia asked him.
"Hmm? What is it? Speak." Bryce asked her.
"There were reports by the Siesta Police Department about this whole nightclub incident regarding… dry corpses. They're seeking our help to investigate to find who caused it." Ophelia asked him about it as he sighed.
"No, no, no, no… They do NOT call us for help. They are to HELP us. We do not listen to them. We're a PMC. We have every right to do whatever the fuck we want. Protecting high profiles and all. Shit, even if we shoot a bystander by complete accident. We can make up a lie that the person is a criminal. That's why we have a concept called Freedom. Simple as that!" Bryce explained as he stood on the top of the car with his hands out and looking into the morning sky. The other two armed soldiers clapped.
BlackSteel Member 1: "That's our boss."
BlackSteel Member 2: "And we get shit done."
"A-Alright… But what of these gang members roaming about? These 88th Street?" Ophelia informed them about the gang as Bryce jumped off the car and leaned on it as he grabbed a cig to smoke on it.
"These clowns? They'll regret crossing us every time. Those fuckers are completely retarded, a bunch of no lifers. Last time I checked, they shot a kid in the chest and head for shits and giggles. But then again…" Bryce takes out a cig from his hand as he exhales the smoke out of it. Dropping it and grinding it with his foot. "Who am I to disagree? Of course! They're on our kill list. If 88th Street's leader is apparently a Master joining the war… That'd be a huge gigantic shit… Err… a huge gigantic shit… Uggh… Hey, what's the word again?"
BlackSteel Member 1: "A shitshow, sir."
"Yes! A huge gigantic shitshow! Now then… as much as I don't want to see the mayor angry… We gotta get back to do the patrols. If he expects good pay. Then we'll do it. C'mon, Ophelia. With me. And you two… get rid of these bodies…"
The two soldiers saluted as they went ahead to remove the bodies from the car as the two left. As both kept walking down the sidewalk, Ophelia wasn't afraid to ask him about what happened a year ago.
"Commander Bryce… You said you used to attend the Clock Tower a year ago, right?" Ophelia asked him.
"More like my shitty pops sent me to spy on them while acting as a student there. Told me to learn the ways of Magecraft and I did. But man… that El-Melloi II guy… I'd love to kill him myself to stir up some shit… but that was a missed opportunity." Bryce continued as he remembered his past. "When I returned… I decided to choke my no good pops to death and took over his PMC as the new CEO and Commander. I ain't gonna forgive that fucker who killed my ma…"
"I'm… I'm sorry…" Ophelia lowers her head down.
"Forget it. It's all in the past now. I see London's Association as no problem of mine. After all, we're contracted to kill based on others… Speaking about it… The guys from London contacted me and promised us massive pay if we find and kill their so-called 'traitor'." Bryce asked her as Ophelia was rather curious to know who the traitor was.
"Then… who is this traitor you're talking about?" Ophelia asked him as she saw his smile on his face as he kept walking… He spoke the name.
"Fiore Forvedge."
Sotenbori Sushi & Ramen, New Hiroshima, Siesta City Daytime - Clear Sky
First Person POV
"Mmm…~ Nothing tastes better than Sake when you add it with salt…~ Master. You gotta try this.~" Rider's face was a little red after she drank sake from her cup as she was resting on her shoulders on me as I sighed.
"No thanks… I'm good…" I replied as I ate my sushi and drank my own sake with a decent taste. Plus… why the hell would you add salt…?
As for Rider's clothing. I managed to give her a white zipped parka jacket with turquoise lines streaking down and on the back has the logo of a black/gold skull oni shogun with a samurai helmet. She also has stylized torn tight jeans, black crop top, and some white sneakers to fit with her style. Thanks to that. She's able to blend in with the locals. And will she stop putting her shoulders over me?
"Is your girlfriend okay?" The man working at the restaurant said to me as I spoke.
"She has a tolerance for being drunk so… she'll be okay." I reassured him with a lie as he went back to work. "Honestly…"
I continued to eat the sushi that had shrimp with it dipped in soy sauce as I ate it. The soy sauce adds the texture to make it taste good. However… Rider stopped putting her shoulders on her as she had put her head down after she was trying to recover from it.
"Yo, Ryuga. Glad I managed to find you." The familiar voice called out to me as I turned around.
"Reginald? I thought you left for London already." I asked him as he sat next to me.
"Nah, not really." Reginald then continued to look at me. "I heard you're now in the war… congratulations."
"Thanks. The first night was rather uneasy but I managed to survive through it." I said to him as he seemed surprised.
"I can imagine it was hard for you. But in the end, you're alive. That's what matters. So… this got me thinking… I wanna help you out, mate. Just think of it as my gratitude! If you wanna come out on top. At least let me help you. Not as an accomplice. But as a friend. Look, I know D doesn't want me to help you but trust me on this. I'll help out find enemy Servants for you and boom! Done deal! Not a bad alliance, innit?" Reginald wanted my help about finding these servants. At first, I was confused about it. But I've come to understand that he wanted to show gratitude.
"Alright… You can help me on this one. Where should we be, then?" I asked him as he showed me the photo that he slid close to my hand as I look. "A… bench?"
"Crestshire Park in Fairdale Hills. It should be a good rendezvous point here. Once I detect something from afar. I'll come to you guys and let you know, aight?" Reginald explained about the plan of what he wants to do.
"Crestshire Park… Alright, I'm in. Think you can handle it?" I said to him as he gave me a thumbs up.
"You got it. Leave it to me. Plus… I'm getting hungry. I did hear about this strange green sauce that you people eat. A wasabi, right? Should I try it?" Reginald thought about it and suggested it to me.
"Don't." I replied quickly, knowing that he would destroy his tongue if he dared to try that forbidden spice. As for my Servant… is she sober now?
Westover Tower, Fairdale Hills, Siesta City Midnight - Clear Sky
Third Person POV
It was nighttime once again where Reginald had begun his work on helping Ryuga on detecting enemy Servants if a fight to occur soon. He was seen kneeling on the rooftop on the skyscraper where he was using his binoculars to be on a lookout. However, he eventually ordered a set of Sushi bento boxes on the go. However… It had shrimp on it. He takes a bite of it as he didn't seem to like it.
"God… why does the shrimp taste like shite? I suppose I'll never get used to this, eh?" Reginald said to himself as he continued watching from the height. That is until he heard the gun clicking close to the back of his head.
"I'm surprised that you can order a bento box of shrimp sushi from the joint. The taste doesn't bug you?" The voice of Bryce has seemingly found him all alone as Reginald drops his binoculars.
"It… doesn't taste bad." Reginald said as he grit his teeth as he can feel the intense pressure.
"Guess you can't tell the good from the bad when it comes to sushi. Now get up with your hands up… and turn around." Bryce commands him as Reginald did so as they meet their eyes face to face. Bryce apparently had his Servant Lancer with him as she watched. "Though… In life, you once ate shit from an early age, you're bound to have bad taste when you're grown. Hard to be happy with bad taste, too."
"The hell you're talkin' bout, mate…?" Reginald hissed in anger.
"My pops was the shittest guy in the world. Never treated me with anything with no respect. Killed my mother out of hatred. He was a military man, but he was still a piece of shit. Like a 'necessary evil'. That's what they would have called him. Only ever killed a handful of women and children. Forcing me to be tortured and abused for being a bad influence, so I choked the living shit outta him for revenge. He hated me. And that's a fact." Bryce tells his story about his abusive relationship with his father as he still held his pistol right to his head. "Can you say the same? When it comes to having a dad?"
"The fuck… are you talking about…?" Reginald said with a stern look on his face, knowing that things aren't going too well.
"It's about tying up loose ends…" Bryce said with a cold tone as he pulls the trigger from his pistol, shooting him in the head as blood spurts out as he begins to fall from the skyscraper.
Meanwhile on the ground there were two dudes with white suits walking out of the building.
"Hey, you wanna see my new car? This sedan cost me alot but it was worth it." The short man said to him as he wore his shades.
"Yea, bro. You gotta show me that whip and hopefully give it a test drive-" The tall brother heard a crash above the white sedan that the short brother had bought with money as it was completely totaled. "O-Oh shit… bro… your car, man…"
"Wait a sec. What do you- WAAAAAH! NOOOOOO! MY CAR!" The short brother exclaimed as they saw a dead body of Reginald with blood everywhere and bones cracked along with the shot in the head caused by Bryce. Back on the tower, Bryce looked down to see the incident as he didn't care. Taking the bento box as he ate one.
"Mmm… taste bitter…" Bryce said in disappointment as he tossed it off the roof. "Now then… where is that green-haired Lancer… Hey, 'True' Lancer. Do you mind finding him for me? If you do, I'll make sure to send my men to surround him."
"Master… even if you do send your men, you're sending them straight to death." Bryce's Lancer said to him about this bad idea that her Master had to come up with.
"Don't worry… My boys kidnapped one of the best magus from the association to do the work for us. They're decked out with Anti-Servant Gear and Weapons. So it should be the most effective, after all." Bryce replied as his Servant stood there and looked at him… Yet, it was another awkward conversation between a Master and Servant… He grew impatient. "So? What are you waiting for? Go! Find me that Another Lancer already! GO!"
The True Lancer did not hesitate as she revs up her thrusters spewing out blue jet flames as her wings spread out as she takes off in the sky to continue her search. Bryce then turns around as he prepares to leave the rooftop with a sinister smile on his face, knowing that his plan will come to fruition.
Crestshire Park, Fairdale Hills, Siesta City Midnight - Clear Sky
First Person POV
"Where the hell is he…?" I pondered to myself as I was seen sitting on the bench here in this park. I saw my Servant Rider who is back to her usual outfit when it comes to battles during the night where she was seen tending her horse that was eating off grass. Yet, we're all alone. And Reginald is taking his time to scout out any potential Servants should it come to pass. I looked at both of my hands as I was reminded of something back in the past… blood on my hands. I snapped back to reality as I realized something, grabbing a weapon out from my pocket as I flipped it open… a flip knife that I received from my sister… It was only meant for hunting. The blade is still sharp but I flipped the blade back as I looked at the sky… there were no stars around because it was indeed a city that never sleeps. Looking straight, I begin to face those hallucinations. Those illusions… Takami… my older sister was standing there to look at me. She had a sweet smile as I felt this pain in my chest, placing both of my hands over my head and looked down… I wasn't happy. "Stop… Just stop looking at me Takami… Why must I see your face again…"
It was painful. I never wanted to see her face… I liked her, I really do. But I couldn't come to terms with her death… Yes, she was killed by a man who I'm trying to seek out while taking part in the war. But this brings up the idea as the hallucinations stop as I let go of my hands and look at her to my right. So, I spoke.
"Hey, Rider…" I asked her… "If we win… Do you have a wish?"
"What do you mean by that, Master?" Rider asked in confusion.
"What I mean is… if we were to win the Holy Grail… Do you have any wish that you want to come true?" I asked her about it as she pretty much shrugged. "Wha?"
"Honestly, I have no wish or desire for that Holy Grail. So I pretty much have no plans on having a wish anyways." Rider then continues as she brings her horse near me. "What about you?"
"I do… I want to bring my sister Takami back to life… I… I just want to see her again…" I told my Servant about my wish… Sure, it's foolish. That's what a person would do… bring back someone from the dead. Such as my older sister… However, Rider placed her hand on my shoulder as I looked at her.
"Master… while I see your wish as futile and meaningless… But I'll honor your wish if you care so deeply. And don't forget. I am your blade, so command me well in this battle." Rider smiled at me as I chuckled a bit.
"Damn right. We'll win. Together." I said to her with a confident smile until I got my stomach rumbling… "Shit… I'm hungry again…"
"Master!" Rider called out as she quickly summoned her spear to deflect an incoming projectile that was close to my face.
[CLANG!]
"WHOA!" I instantly fell off the bench and quickly got up. As soon as I did so, I came to see what's there on the ground… a knife…? I quickly looked at my Servant. "Rider! What's going on!?"
"It seems we have an uninvited guest right at our doorstep. Seems you're trying to take out my Master from the shadows, have you? Assassin…?" Rider said as she still kept her smile. The mysterious figure who hid in the shadows. It was a figure of a man of pure black skin and a white skull-like mask as he held three knives with one hand.
"It appears I have missed… Next time, I will not make the same mistake again…" Assassin said with disappointment as he was ready to strike. "Either way… Killing your Master would be indeed swift. But you standing in my way is a concern…"
"Is that so?" Rider said with a smug as she pointed her sword on her other hand right at him. "If you're so sure on killing off my Master. You will not lay your hands on him. Instead… I'm your opponent! So fight with dignity!"
"Rider… Kill Assassin! Don't let him target me!" I commanded my Servant as she nodded.
"On it!" Rider replied as she dashed towards her enemy as the Assassin was ready to strike back.
[SWOOSH! CLANG! CLASH! TWANG!]
The sound of steel clashed one another as sparks flew. I was only standing there next to the horse that my Servant has. But Rider already has that advantage… I took my sweet time to determine her parameters. And this proves that my Servant is capable of killing him. All she needs to do is to keep the pressure up.
[FWOOSH! CLANG!]
More sparks fly as Rider continues to pressure Assassin with her flurry of slashes of her spear and sword. But Assassin proceeds to dodge Rider's horizontal attack from her spear as he bends his body back as he prepares to lift his leg…
[TWACK!]
Assassin lifted his right leg quickly to knock up her spear away from her hand as it was sent in the air, spinning as it gained a lot of height. He plants his two arms to back pedal and twirl as he proceeds to strike right at Rider's neck.
"You're mine!" Assassin then thrusted his knife as the blade was getting close.
[CLING!]
Rider had quickly switched to her another weapon which was a tanto as she blocked it with the side of her blade. She smiled as she parried it away, sheathing her other weapon and caught her spear falling down as Assassin didn't have time to take notice.
"Wha!?" Assassin gasped as Rider had fiercely swung down her spear by holding at the closest edge… causing blood to spurt out. He staggered back in pain to feel his chest. "I-Impossible… How can one such Servant overwhelm me-"
[SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!]
"Ahahahahaha! Is that all you have? For an Assassin, you sure fight from the shadows. But when it comes to fighting at close range, you're already finished!" Rider had laughed like a maniac as she kept her smile… I've seen it many times… It's just like in her past that I saw… She will always smile… no matter what situation. She shrugs it off like it was nothing. After many consecutive slashes from her spear and katana altogether. She then twirls to land a final attack. "Die!"
[SLASH!]
The slashed launched Assassin upwards in the air as he expectedly gets impaled by a spiked iron fence as more blood spurts out. He tries to lend his hand out and groans but his body starts to disintegrate into shadows… knowing that he is his head.
"Well now, I've finally worked up a sweat… Master! It's over now!" Rider walked towards me as I took care of her horse… After what I saw of her performance… I'm pleased.
"You did well, Rider. But the fight's not over yet and… Damn it… I'm still starving… Rider? Can you take me to a nearby convenience store? I'll provide the directions…" I asked her as Rider got on her horse.
"I can see why. You're tired, right? Very well. Allow me to give you a ride." Rider said with calmness as I climbed on.
"And don't make it too fast, okay?" I asked her as Rider rode her horse as I held on. We began leaving the park in order to quickly make a stop to the store real quick. But still… Where is Reginald? I guess he changed his mind…
Third Person POV
From afar, a black crow perched on one of the wires of the telephone poles as it watched the two from afar, leaving the area as intended. However, another shadowy presence appears next to the bird but this time it was a Servant with dark purple hair with a ponytail, same black pure skin and mask. She stood on the top of the pole.
"Master… it seems one of my men has been killed and failed to assassinate the enemy Master…" The Assassin asked the crow as it was preening its wings.
"Caw! Caw! Caaaaw! (That is fine… For now, we will wait for our chance to strike until the time is ready.)" The crow continued. "Caaaaw! Caw! Caw! (We will pick on another target next time. Let us go and hide.)"
"Yes, Master…" Assassin then disappears into the shadows as the crow stands there… revealing its Command Seal on the side of the beak, a symbol of a bird… The crow caws and flies off into the sky.
Meanwhile, somewhere in the high-class residential three story home that is gated and modern. The green-haired lancer was seen in the master bedroom where he was seen sitting on a white chair where he would see his Master resting on the bed with three topless women wearing their bra and panties. One of the girls was American, Japanese, and Spanish. The three womens are absolutely beautiful, not even Lancer could even avoid their attractiveness. And the one resting on the bed of all is a brown-haired woman with long twintails and silver eyes and smoking a cigarette as she seems to be enjoying herself.
"What's wrong, Lancer?" Lancer's Master spoke. "Can't resist looking at my wives?"
"N-No, of course not, Master. It's just that… you have three of them sleeping with you…" Lancer replied with some small concern as it felt weird to him. Yet, bizarre.
"Is that a problem? After all… these three are my girlfriends. Dominica, Shizuka, and Carmelita… They've been with me before you were even summoned to this world. Besides, what's not to like but to enjoy with a bunch of girls sleeping with you? You said you like women, right?" Lancer's Master said to him.
"Y-Yes…" Lancer said with a blush.
"Girls, what do you think of him?" The Master asked her girlfriends as they responded…
"He's kinda handsome… but I like you better.~" Dominica said as she felt the smooth skin of her cheeks.
"Dunno about him. Like Shirley said.~ You're much better than him, Meifang-chan.~" Shizuka said second.
"I think I prefer hotter like you… It makes me wanna cum hard, darling.~" Carmelita said third as Lancer felt let down a bit that the girls don't even care about him.
"Seriously, Master… What's with these girls' problems!?" Lancer exclaimed as Lancer's Master named Taylor told him to stop with a hand gesture.
"Calm down." Meifang commanded him as Lancer sat down.
"Sorry…" Lancer said as she shook her head.
"It's okay. Now then… You never got a chance to talk to me while you were out and about. So… you said that you encountered a newly summoned Servant from last night?" Meifang asked him about what happened. Lancer knew everything, the first time he fought against Rider as their strengths were totally on par with each other.
"Yes… I believe the newly summoned Servant was none other than Rider… She was wielding both a lance and a sword. And… she… she was smiling. But it wasn't a smile. But rather something that sent a chill down my spine. But rest assured, Master. She did not defeat me as I managed to land a hit on her." Lancer explained everything about what happened from last night regarding their first encounter the first time he clashed with Rider.
"And?" Meifang raised her brow.
"And our battle was interrupted by Archer's shot that came from far away…" Lancer finishes up after he completes the description of the fight. Meifang then thought about it as she looked at him with a straightforward face.
"I see… You crave battle. That's what I like about you." Meifang continued. "If you really wish to continue your one-on-one battle with that Rider or anyone… I suggest taking down Archer."
"Yes but…" Lancer was interrupted.
"Think about it. Rider was your first opponent, if you want to secure your fight against that Servant. Then kill Archer. You have the spear. You have the speed. You're the fastest and the strongest Servant in this war, right? Then I want you to kill Archer for me and tell me how you really feel." Meifang said to her Servant as he nodded.
"I will." Lancer replied.
"Good. Don't fail me, Achilles…" Meifang said with a small smile on her face as Lancer stood up and summoned his weapon in his hand with a smile on his face.
"I won't, Master. Trust me." Lancer said as he was ready to head out but…
"Before you go… I need a cup of wine at the Kitchen. Give me a drink, pronto." Meifang had quickly asked him a favor as he sighed and let his head down.
"…Fine." Lancer complies as he leaves the room to get wine for his Master.
"Now then girls… Who wants to have a massive orgasm?" Meifang said to her girlfriends as all three raised their hands.
Andorra Plaza, Fairdale Hills, Siesta Hills Midnight - Clear Sky
Meanwhile, in the luxurious outdoor plaza where it's known to be Siesta City's best shopping district, it is much more refined compared to other district's shopping areas. However, it was completely empty as most shops were closed except one particular shoe store for women… The same pinked haired gothic Servant Archer was seen inside the store that was left open but… no one was there except her. She continues to suck off the blood from the woman who was near the cashier register. Then, she finished sucking the blood as the corpse was dry.
"Aaahh…~ Much better. The blood is rather fresh so that's a given… Hmm?" Archer noticed as she turned out to see a wounded security guard trying to crawl towards her.
"You… monster…!" The security guard groaned as he started to grab one of her legs, which caused to react in anger.
"Filthy scum…! You dare touch my heels!? Die!" She uses her finger as it conjures up a dark purple energy as it fires a bolt at the head of the guard.
[SPLAT!]
Thus, the head exploded with a massive burst of blood splattering towards the direction of the wall, ceilings, shoes, and windows. Archer sighs in irritation as she grabs the bag containing one of the finest shoes for women that she bought but in reality, she's only stealing them for her collection just to mind her Master's business.
"Hmm… I wonder who this Rider was that my Master told me about last night… Oh well!~ More shopping for me! They better have one of the best heels in town!~" Archer said to herself gleefully as she was humming a song as she proceeded to go to another shop but…
"Hey… You…" The voice spoke from behind her as she immediately stopped to look to her left to find the voice. The young man had blonde curly hair and blue eyes as he wore a white buttoned shirt and a black tie and black pants with a belt on and black shoes. "Somehow your scent led me to you. And that stench… eugh… disgusting."
"And what would you be doing here? I suggest you turn back and go home, boy. Or else I'll change my mind." Archer threatened him but he already got the grasp of the situation.
"By the looks of you… you're a Servant, are you…" The young man said to him as Archer has been had. But she quickly noticed to see the young man's Command Seal on the back of his right hand.
"And you're also a Master… Tell me, are you the supposed Master of Rider here?" Archer tries to assume if this person really is the Master of Rider.
"Sadly, you got the wrong one. But knowing that you're here… I guess I can finally let loose." The young man stretched his arms and hips as Archer dropped her bag as she was losing her patience.
"So you intend to find me? You have no idea what you're up against. Besides… you'll never beat me." Archer slightly tainted with her own ego as he yawned.
"I know. My Beast Magecraft isn't good enough to cut you down to size but… My Servant can. Berserker!" The young man called out his Servant as he crashed down on the ground… revealing to be a huge figure with burly muscles and a sword entirely made out of stone. "Kill that Servant for me, will ya?"
"▂▂▃▃▅▅!" Berserker roared with unbridled rage as he quickly dashes towards Archer and proceeds to swing down his sword right at her but she quickly dodges in the nick of time.
"Tch… Troublesome pest… I'll tear you apart limb from limb!" Archer then fires more dark energy bolts towards her enemy. The bolts shot by her pierced the Berserker. She thought she had managed to hit the Servant's vital points but it wasn't enough to slow it down. "Wha!?"
Berserker raged as he jumped up fast and quickly grabbed her head and started to quickly throw her down as she crashed right onto the ground. Archer struggled to get up knowing that she's fighting a Servant gone mad. She wipes the blood from her mouth with her finger and licks it. Yet, she wasn't happy.
"Archer… What's going on? Why aren't you back yet?" Archer's Master spoke to her mind.
"Sorry, Master… It appears I'm fighting a Berserker-class Servant, it seems. And he already ruined my favorite clothing! I'm going to kill him slowly and slowly so he can suffer more like the rotten pig he is!" Archer exclaimed in anger as she clenched her hand.
"A Berserker… Archer, you need to pull back, now!" Archer's Master continued. "That Servant you're fighting is going to be too much of a problem for you! If you die, I'll lose the war because of you!"
"Zip it, Master… I can handle it. All I need to do is to rip this uncivilized brute to shreds…!" Archer then readied herself as she dashes through Berserker with rapid slashes out of nowhere and proceeds to fire multiple shots of energy bolts right at his back. Berserker withstood that pain as it was nothing as the Servant of Madness swung his sword but her black spiked heels blocked the attack when she raised her knees up to protect herself.
"▂▂▃▃▅▅!" Berserker roared as he grabbed her legs and threw her aside as she crashed into the store she was in. Archer quickly woke up and noticed the Servant coming his way as she dodged and headed outside of the store as the Master of the Berserker watched from the sidelines.
"If you're this persistent…" Archer grabs out her bow with multiple strings that act like a harp. "Then I'll make you submit!"
Archer strings her bow with a sweet song of serenade as it is targeted towards Berserker when he comes out of the store. He starts to take damage from splashes of blood coming out, causing him to stagger. She continues to play more of it as more slashes come out of Berserker's body from all sides and continues. However, Berserker starts to become increasingly enraged during the slashes he received from the enemy Archer. He lets out a loud roaring shockwave that forces Archer to stop playing her bow when she feels the force. His wounds began to completely heal from all the damage he had received.
"Well… that didn't work…" Archer spat in irritation.
"Archer… if this fight is taking too long… Then I want you to use your Noble Phantasm against this Berserker, killing it would secure our chances of victory." Archer's Master then spoke to her again in her mind.
"You want me to use it? Even if I do it-" Archer was interrupted.
"Reveal your identity upon use? Yes. Which is why I want you to do it. Kill this lowly Berserker and be done with it." Archer's Master said to her with a serious tone.
Archer was left with a choice if she wanted to get it done now that her shopping plans were ruined all because of Berserker and his Master. Yet, disappointed. Yet, she had no choice but to comply with her Master's command. So… she had no choice… A Noble Phantasm must be used.
"You left me no choice, Berserker. Slow and painless are no longer an option for you. Instead, your death will be swift. After all, it is indeed a great pain to tear you one by one." Archer then gathers all of the prana around her as she begins to channel her power to unleash it against Berserker. There was no other choice, she must get it done.
"So… she's finally doing it…" The Master of Berserker said as he watched to see it happen…
"It's showtime!~" Archer then uses her powers as the strange sigil was targeted upon Berserker as he was unaware, being lifted into the sky. "Ufu. Ufufufu…~ It's already over. This is the ruin of what you once were…"
The small shadow figure of Berserker appears in front of her as she summons her stake and mallet as she walks towards it by two steps as she places the stake on the shadowy figure of Berserker and readies her mallet.
"『Fetch Failnaught: Keening of Painful Fantasy』!" Archer then slams her mallet, sending a curse of red spiraling energy right into the shadow. But as for Berserker… it roared in pain as something was about to explode from within…
[BOOSH! SPLURT!]
A shower of blood burst out of the Servant as spikes grew out of his body. And just like that… Berserker fell on the floor as he was no longer moving… The Master of Berserker's reaction wasn't all too surprising but knew she had to do it.
"I can't believe you had to waste your skill just to kill my Servant… Fairy Woman… Baobhan Sith…" The Master of Berserker said in the most unfazed expression as the spikes magically disappeared from Berserker's body, leaving a body full of holes caused by immense damage.
"It had to be done… Now that he's dead… You're next." Archer then glared right at the Master as he didn't care.
"Really? You need to check Berserker again. I would'nt say that if I were you." Berserker's Master then pointed at his Servant's body as it started to completely regenerate as it was no longer full of holes as the black mist and red glowing flesh from within was already healed. He stood up to adjust his body as he roared.
"H-How! The curse should have killed that Berserker easily! There's no way!" Archer gasped in confusion knowing that he's back from the dead with his body constantly regenerating. "Well whatever… I will retreat for now… Now I can understand why you're much of a bigger threat than I expected!"
Archer then proceeds to jump from building to building to evade from the battle as she did… and so… the battle was completely over in the process. Berserker's Master then sighed as he looked at the starless sky.
"Man… I miss going back to the Clock Tower… I wonder how Gray is doing…" The Master of Berserker… Svin Glaschiet pondered to himself with Berserker at his side, standing there. He takes a deep breath as he proceeds to keep walking. "So much fighting in this war… Either way… just gotta keep hunting. Wait for me, Gray… It'll be all over soon once I come back…"
Thus, he had left the plaza as Berserker de-materialized himself out of thin air as Svin continued walking down the path. A path to continue fighting.
Santiago Lopez Bar, San Aldecado, Siesta City Midnight - Clear Sky
Meanwhile… at the bar where everyone in this place was seemingly murdered where Bryce was seen drinking beer to relive his stress as he was seen watching UK Football on TV for no reason. However, the people killed were all members of 88th Street, Siesta's own violent faction that thrives on violence. Despite the blood that was splattered everywhere, he didn't care as long as he's doing his job… along with his own hunt on finding a particular Forvedge girl. The door opens as he hears that someone came in… it was none other than the green-haired Lancer who apparently found this place.
"Saw a lot of blood trails that lead to here. Is this your doing?" Lancer asked him as he stopped drinking his beer but did not look at him.
"Yeeeeah. Probably… Those guys never understand the word 'personal space' so I pretty much dealt with them with a bullet to their head. Hmm… Based on your presence… I can tell you're looking for something… a fight, was it?" Bryce said to him as Lancer pointed his spear close to his head.
"Yeah… I do… Looking to die?" Lancer threatened him with a serious look as Bryce sighed.
"Y'know… Have they ever told you to stop pointing at people with tips that are sharp? Or rather, you just don't understand what 'personal space' is… Let me teach you…" Bryce then snaps his fingers as his Servant comes crashing through the wall and pushes Lancer outside as he rolls on the ground and quickly gets his footing back. However, he noticed something was tossed under him as he saw…
[BOOM!]
A sound of flashbang went off as it temporarily blinded the green-haired Lancer as the tinnitus died down. Groups of BlackSteel Soldiers quickly arrive from the APCs and SUVs as twenty men arrive to surround him. Achilles, the Lancer then opens his eyes to look around and see that there are soldiers who have already surrounded him with assault rifles ready along with the new combat gear they're wearing. Then, Bryce had arrived to see the chaos unfold with his own Servant Lancer hoving at his side.
"Consider this as my welcoming party, Lancer- No… Another Lancer. In case you don't know… The Holy Grail hasn't manifested just yet but had some errors when it comes to summoning two of the same classes at once. My Servant here is True Lancer. You're just a nobody." Bryce continued. "And here you are, standing on our glorious soil of United States of a fuckin' America! But I gotta hand it to those American branch of the Association for making this a dream come true. If you want to end the war and save the world? You just gotta get your hands dirty! Besides, you had some balls of picking fights with me. Gotta hand it to you there. Yet… it's almost reminding me of something… Just like the good ol' days of September 11th!"
"Shut up…" Another Lancer then yawned as he held his spear over his shoulder. "Like, are you done talking?"
"Learn your manners, Servant. Let me finish when it comes to talking…" Bryce then raises his fist to command his soldiers. "Fire."
[RATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATAT! BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!]
The group of soldiers proceeded to fire directly at Another Lancer as he quickly swung and twirled his spear to deflect all bullets from all sides of direction. Bryce and True Lancer continued to watch as he continued to deflect them. As a few seconds passed, the soldiers ran out of ammo as it all stopped…
"My turn…" Another Lancer then smiled as he readied his spear. With just one swing…
[SWISH! SWOOSH! SWASH! ZING!]
[SPLURT!]
Green light streak zips through the groups of soldiers as they watch. One second later, it caused an effect where all twenty soldiers were killed as their bodies, arms, and limbs were sliced in half as blood splatters everywhere like a shower of bloodbath. However, the armor they were wearing wasn't effective since it was designed to be Anti-Servant Gear.
"Damn… I guess they didn't work. Might as well punish the guy we kidnapped later…" Bryce whispered to himself. "But man! Ophelia would love to see this massacre but too bad she's doing office work. And look, good for you. You killed my squad but I still have more in the barracks. You did some things, I did something. Maybe we can work each other out? No? Okay."
"Quit talking, man. I'm getting the urge that I wanna kill you this badly." Another Lancer threatened him again as he turned around and shrugged.
"Man, enough with threats, pal. You won't be killing me nor I'm fighting you… You'll be fighting against my Servant. She's been… itching to use the new armaments we installed on her wings. Two Lancers battling it out to the death… This is gonna be interesting." Bryce had a grin on his face as he stepped away to avoid getting caught in a crossfire.
"You're that second Lancer, right?" True Lancer continues as her wing's armaments adjust itself to target him, causing her to smile. "I'm going to enjoy killing you.~"
"You're on, dragon girly! You made a big mistake in picking the fastest Servant alive…!" Achilles readied his spear against his opponent. The battle of Two Lancers, would intend to bring mass destruction upon collision. Bryce can't help but to watch. Then… both Lancers dashed at each other at the same time as their blades collided as everything abrupted to blackness. The duel has already begun… a battle of bloodshed…

Author's Notes: Thank you for reading the second chapter of this story. I promised, and I delivered. And I'm sure this chapter is kinda unpredictable at times when it comes to character deaths and bizarre occurrences. Surprisingly enough, people in my reviews have already guessed that Another Lancer's identity is in fact Achilles himself. Along with some familiar Servants… and one that had used its Noble Phantasm right off the bat. I'm not that type of person who would spoil the true name of Another and True Servants right off the bat. As the story progresses, it'll reveal itself… or not (to the point where I might spoil it in the future). As promised. I will include two Servant Compendiums along with Master of Another Archer's name (consider it as my gift). As the opening reveals… Yes, more characters or something, I dunno. But yeah, the next chapter will solely focus on Two Lancers (chance for that chapter that it'll be shorter than this chapter). Until then, peace out!

Noble Phantasm
Diatrekhōn Astēr Lonkhē: Spear-tip of the Star Traversing the Skies - B+
Type: Anti-Unit
Range: 2-10
Max Number of Targets: 1 person
When summoned as a Lancer, this spear would also gain abilities similar to Gáe Buidhe, in which wounds inflicted by this spear cannot be healed as long as it exists. He doesn't have his chariot in the Lancer class, but he can wield this spear with divine speed while dashing around the battlefield on his feet for mobility, so he is an unmanageable threat in either class.
Andreias Amarantos: Amaranth of the Brave - B
Type: Anti-Unit (Self)
Range: 0
Max Number of Targets: 1
Although his mother, the goddess Thetis, had wanted to make him into a fully immortal god by warming him within holy flames to extinguish his human blood, her husband, Peleus, opposed it because it would "destroy him as a human", so only one part of him, his heel, remained human after he stopped the process midway. His heel is the sole, vital weak-point for the otherwise invincible hero, but he is not afraid to attack opponents with it should it be required. His immortality kept him from receiving any wounds in life until his weak-point was exposed during his fight with Hector, and later utilized by Paris to kill him under the guidance of Apollo. The act of having his heel hit negates his immortality, allowing for his heart to be pierced with numerous arrows as he made his last charge against the Trojan army in life.
Any type of attack against him is nullified, including physical damage, the "normal attacks" of Servants, and even great Noble Phantasms. It cannot be pierced by power alone, but it does have three weaknesses. The first is that only those who possess the blood of a god within their veins are permitted to harm him. It can only be fully negated by those with possessing the Divinity Skill equaling or surpassing Lancer's C-rank Divinity, so those possessing D-rank Divinity will have their attacks reduced to 75% of their total damage and those of E-rank Divinity will have their attacks reduced to 50% of their total damage. Those without Divinity but in possession of Divine Constructs can deal damage so long as the Divine Construct is being used to attack, and the damage will be based upon the weapon's rank in the same way as Divinity.
Akhilleus Kosmos: The Miniature World Enclosed by the Azure Sky - A+
Type: Barrier
Range: 0
Max Number of Targets: 1 person.
The shield of Achilles, a Divine Construct forged by the Greek smithing god Hephaestus. It is a defensive type, Bounded Field Noble Phantasm, said to be able to stand against nearly any attack by deploying a miniature world. Described within a hundred lines of text in Book 18 of the Iliad, it is the world Achilles lived in that was reproduced by Hephaestus into a miniature form in the shield, featuring swirling ocean currents on the outer circumference due to the sea god. It is said that "to oppose this shield is the same as making the world your opponent", allowing it to protect against Anti-Unit, Anti-Army, Anti-Divine, Anti-Fortress and Anti-Country Noble Phantasms. Something that Hephaestus likely never devised, the shield can be used to "attack", Achilles aiming to crush the opponent with the miniature world by continuously pushing forward after its deployment. Due to Achilles being known for giving Noble Phantasms in his legend, it is able to be smoothly loaned despite such things not normally being possible.

Failnaught: Fantasia of Lamentation - A+

Max Number of Targets: 10
The bow belongs to a knight of the Arthurian age named Tristan. Tristan's bow was called a "bow that always hit its target"… but the form of this Noble Phantasm is nothing but a mere "string". Flicking off the air by shaking this string, firing what should be called a vacuum arrow. Because the velocity of the arrow, the bow's angle adjustments, and above all, the loading speed of its arrows are all unusual, it is almost impossible to avoid the entire bullet, no matter how fast the hero is that excels in speed. It seems that the only ways for one to oppose this is by jumping dimensions, moving one's body outside of its range, and so forth. For the different ways to use this string, Tristan can take up tactics such as tearing up, slicing up and tying down the opponent. Furthermore, if there is a location that is an obstacle, such as a forest, etc., he can insert traps like "foot entanglements (snares)", and so forth. The instant a foot takes one step onto the mysterious vacuum trap that was laying there, the enemy floats into midair and is chopped up into pieces. Due to being imbued with Tristan's Saint Graph, Baobhan Sith uses the bow Failnaught as her weapon, though hers is a little smaller and more sinister-looking.
