A/N: Uhhm, I don't know what this is exactly, but I found it fun and funny, so I hope you do too!

"If it wasn't clear already, nothing is happening tonight," Andy argues as she steps out of the steamy bathroom in her robe, ends of her hair practically still dripping from the shower.
"Pfft. Wouldn't dream of it," he replies smugly, smacking the pillows on the bed in front of him.
Andy rolls her eyes. "Whatever."
"Nevermind that it's the reason we're away from the kids in the first place," he mutters, half under his breath while he undoes the buttons on his dress shirt and tosses it to the side.
"Pardon me?"
"Us," he glares, with a duh sound, waving a hand between them. "Here. Alone. Wasting the only time we have like this."
Andy throws back the covers and climbs in bed, a chill rolling down her spine when her wet hair drips on her neck. "Are you actively trying to annoy me tonight or is this just you being you?"
Sam shrugs, after crashing down on his side of the freshly made hotel bed in only a tee and his boxer briefs. "Guess we'll never know."
"So there's no particular reason why you keep picking fights with me? It's just for fun?" She gives her pillow a smack before throwing one over to his side. "Wonder where the kids learn it..."
"I'm picking fights?" He puts a hand to his chest, feigning shock. "Well, at least I can pick something, unlike the person who spends 20 minutes scanning the dinner menu."
Andy glares at him, though deep down she does want to laugh at that. Her indecisiveness was pretty ridiculous, she had to give him that. His adorable angry face isn't helping either.
Moments later, she sighs loudly, changing the subject. "So you don't see any other reason why a weekend away from the kids would be good for us?" She tries to keep her voice neutral.
"I didn't say it wouldn't be good for other reasons," Sam smirks, eyes softening. "I'm just saying that sex is a main one considering we haven't in a month -"
"A month?!" Andy scoffs, propping up on an elbow. She notices his gaze drop to her chest for half a second, and back up. "Oh, give me a break!"
"Fine," he drops his smile altogether, "at least two or three weeks."
Andy groans, flips over to face away from him. "You're wrong, but nice to know you're only using me for sex."
Sam furrows his brow, but doesn't say anything. He knows after quite a few years of marriage when she's actually upset - this isn't one of those times. He adores Andy and loves spending time with her - but he's also dying to be with her now that they're finally alone. When they're home, there's always this feeling of being on edge, listening for the kids and knowing the early morning is always coming.
He waits until she picks up her phone from the side table to flip on the tv, hears her laugh quietly and the tapping on the keyboard while he tries to focus on picking something to watch.
"Who are you texting an essay to?" He probes a minute later, after hearing the sound of the vibrations over and over.
"None of your business," she says casually, still facing away from him and not even pausing her moving thumbs.
Sam rolls over to get closer, rests his chin on her upper arm to try to peek, but Andy shoves him off. "Stop!" she says smugly, dipping the phone out of his reach when he tugs her down and sprawls across her body to grab it. "Sam!" She argues, but eventually he gets it from her hand.
He flops back on his side and reads the recent texts while Andy glares at him. "Give it to me," she holds her palm out, with a very straight line of her lips. "I'm not kidding."
"No," he argues back, keeping it out of her reach. A guy's gotta know what his wife is saying about him, that's all. He loves to watch her squirm. On the phone in front of him, he finds the conversation between Andy and Traci;
A: Hey! How are the kids?
T: Good! They're passed out in the living room, Leo in the centre of it all :)
A: Awww! 3 Thanks again for watching them.
T: You know I love having them! How are things in Niagara?
A: Ehhh. Let's just say I may willingly be a single parent by the end of this weekend
T: Uh oh. Why?
A: Cause I might kill him in his sleep
T: LOLOLOL
A: Not even kidding. Do you think Drew is still available? ;-)
T: Hmmm, not according to Chloe...
A: Ughhhh, too bad
Sam snorts, stopping there. "Wow, real nice," he says unenthusiastically, tossing her phone back in her general direction, landing silently somewhere in the pile of covers. He climbs up on the bed, resting his back against the pile of pillows.
Andy shrugs, not feeling overly sympathetic, but also knowing full well those texts would have mildly pissed him off. "You're the one who wanted to invade my privacy."
Sam crosses his arms, watching her search through the covers for her phone. "And you planned for that, didn't you?"
She grabs her phone back happily. "Of course." She gives an evil laugh and moves around to get comfortable again.
Sam rolls his eyes playfully and turns back to the tv.
"You know, I don't get it," Sam says a few minutes later, when his show goes to commercial. Andy's playing a game on her phone and doesn't even look in his direction, just cocks a brow. "Drew spends more time looking at himself in the mirror than he does policing anyone. He's smug, cocky...," he says, matter-of-factly, listing items with his fingers. "I can't believe the women who fall all over that guy. And now Chloe? Really?"
Andy smirks, still focused on her screen. "You know exactly why women fall all over him," she says matter of factly. She has no interest in him, obviously, though he truly could model for the cover of Men's Health and he is quite a good flirt if she's ever seen one. "Fit, confident ladies-man who looks good in a uniform," she taps a finger on her chin, "it's a shtick I've seen before somewhere."
Sam rolls his eyes. "Difference is, I'm not an asshole."
"Could've fooled me," Andy shrugs, holding back a smile as best as possible.
"Cute," he responds sardonically. Sam shifts around under the covers until he gets comfortable. "I'm going to bed."
"We're already in bed," Andy replies, deadpan.
Sam halts, Andy sees his back expand with a deep breath. She knows for sure he's biting his tongue. Andy grins quietly to herself.
For the next little while, Andy settles in and gets comfortable - catches up on her blogs, checks her social media. The tv flashes on the wall behind her, some old shark attack movie playing quietly. When she realizes Sam hasn't moved for while and may be asleep, she sighs and texts him. 'You're boring'.
A moment later she feels him stirring behind her, scrambling to grab his phone, and grunting something groggily about people at work not leaving him alone.
And then it goes quiet.
Andy smirks, lays completely still and stares at her phone, biting her lip when the ellipses pop up and she knows he's typing a response. It takes a whole minute of staring before he simply responds with 'k'. She hears a clunk when he drops his phone on the side table.
"Seriously?" She feels her annoyance with him stir once again.
"What do you want from me, McNally?" He replies with his voice muffed half into a pillow. His voice is one part angry and two parts sleepy. He's still facing away from her when she flips over.
"Huh?" Her eyes narrow, surprised by his tone, "Are you actually -?" She grabs his shoulder and pulls him half way over onto his back, only to realize he's smiling. "Dummy," she glares, tugging him the rest of the way onto his back, before lifting his arm and laying down against him in the crook, her legs tangling into his right away.
"You started it," he shrugs, only to be met with a gasp and a smack to his chest. "Ow!"
Andy digs her chin into his chest, hard, before looking up at him. "Well that's for going to sleep and leaving me with nothing to do."
"You had your phone," he teases through a yawn, hand smoothing along the span of her back. "And last I checked we weren't even getting along."
Andy sighs. "Whatever," she mumbles, laying her cheek against his chest, her palm resting on his firm belly. "I don't wanna argue anymore."
Sam watches her relax, her face and Cody relaxing. He smooths his fingers through her thick hair, scratching a little at her scalp like he knows she likes. "You love to argue with me though," he laughs quietly.
"Were you really just gonna go to sleep early on the one night we're free to do anything we want?" She mumbles a few minutes later, eyes closed and enjoying the feeling of his hands on her.
"Hmm well, It's 10pm and we're at a 3 star hotel with a 4 person hot tub in the lobby. I think we're limited on the anything part," Sam says matter-of-factly, thumbing at the base of her neck until she moans quietly.
Andy giggles quietly, "You know what I mean," she tells him, sitting up a bit to reach for the remote.
"Hmmm," he sighs, getting comfortable. "What to do, what to do...," Sam trails off, using his fingertips to tease her, dragging them down her back and over her hip before stopping at the top of her thigh. "Something fun...?" he pretends to ponder, dipping his hand down lower while she continues flipping channels. "Something exhilarating..." When he pulls her in tighter he finds just the exact angle that he can see down her robe, and hmm, he'd like to just -
"Oh oh!" She cheers, shifting and disturbing his view when she reaches the W Network, romcoms airing all hours of the weekend. "I love this movie! Gerard Butler is like the love guru."
"Really?" Sam groans with a lack of enthusiasm, his palm heading right back into PG territory. "I thought you wanted to do something exciting?"
"Actually," Andy corrects him, holding a finger up. "I said anything we want, never said something exciting. And I would not mind watching this movie."
"Fine," he grumbles when she settles in comfortably against him once again.
"Come on," she reaches for his chin to guide him to her mouth for a light kiss. He gets his hand at the back of her head to keep her in place, sliding their lips together once again. But just as he's about to slip his tongue in to deepen things, she pulls away. "Seriously, you'll love this one!"
At first, Sam gives in and watches, laughs along with the funny parts, enjoying the feel of her against him. They've been married for nearly 5 years but he still really does enjoy listening to her laugh and even if he wouldn't say it out loud, he loves cuddling with her - she's soft in all the right places.
She's always been a fidgety person, so it's not surprising when Sam feels her feet rub against his legs, her hand slipping up under his t-shirt because her fingers are cold, nails scritching at the coarse hair on his belly. Under the covers he can feel her bare thigh resting on his. Sam looks down to see her face lit up and glowy. With 3 young kids and busy jobs, they so rarely get to have time like this, not knowing if anyone will come running in and interrupt. Without seemingly paying attention to what she's doing, Andy is really making his mind, and eyes, wander.
And Sam, well, he knows he's gonna need to bring out the heavy artillery if he's gonna get what he's hoping for as the night goes on. Andy is a sucker for a good movie. But he's getting too bored to pay attention to who's sleeping with who and who likes which person in this movie; he's done. He readjusts his position and nuzzles all the way up the soft skin of her neck, grazing his lips over the most sensitive spot. She smells like hotel soap and all Andy - even her scent could still drive him wild. But she doesn't even react when he traces his tongue over the shell of her ear. So he makes his way back down to a more comfortable position and begins to suck gently, making little nips against her skin. His palm slips in the open space of her robe, the pads of his fingers tickling up her thigh. Her hips wiggle, just a bit when he gets in close. When she doesn't stop him, he makes a move to go for her mouth again -
"Oh, I love this part!" She laughs, breaking his rhythm and nodding towards the tv. "Watch, watch, you'll laugh."
Sam sighs. Pressing one last kiss to her collarbone and resting back up against her properly. It just isn't his night.
When the movie goes to commercial less than a minute later, Sam reaches for his phone to check who won the Leafs game. "What are you doing?" She asks.
"Hmm?" He answers, distracted, still looking down.
"Who said you could stop?" When he meets her eyes, he still can't read her expression, but there's a hint of teasing in her voice.
"Uh, you just did?" He responds, lips pursing into a small smile when he sees her bite her bottom lip.
"Well," Andy sighs, "I guess you might've misunderstood me," she murmurs quietly before undoing the tie on her robe and letting it fall open, just a few inches. There was no way she was letting him stop what he'd started now. Contrary to his belief, Andy had zero intentions of going to sleep tonight before she and her husband were fully satisfied. They've got all night to get there, but Andy was quite sure they wouldn't need that long. Sam's eyebrows jump while he watches her tug the robe open it a little further, revealing most of her bare breast.
"I did, did I?" He smiles, watching as she reaches down to rub gently at the growing bulge in his boxer briefs. Without hesitation, his palm moves to rest on her warm belly, pushing the robe even further out of the way. He dips his head down to kiss slowly along her chest and down, hearing her gasp when he takes her nipple in his mouth.
"Please, Sam" she tangles her fingers in his t-shirt and tugs him up close, until their lips are just touching. "Don't stop."
Sam smiles big as their lips meet, rolling over and in between Andy's thighs as her robe falls completely open. Her arms wrap around his neck to hold him in place while their mouths move together - finally, finally starting the weekend right.
