Ben pulls the hood of his poncho over his sweaty hair, and walks into the crowded city street, Jango following a step behind in an old borrowed cloak, tattered and worn from all the years it's seen.

"Any reason you picked Jedha?" Obi-Wan asks quietly, moving around all the different species of people, carefully avoiding them, knowing that some of them won't take too kindly to being touched.

"The Jet'ii have shelters here for the afflicted," He says, "Those slaves you freed wouldn't do well just being dropped off somewhere, not all of them have friends and family to turn to," He says, bumping into another passerby, and getting a curse because of it.

"We freed," Obi-Wan says, turning into a large market of different vendors, strange smells assaulting him, and the sounds of hundreds of voices almost drowning him out. Fett grabs the hem of his cloak, pulling it tighter to himself, almost tripping on it.

"Does it matter?" Jango asks, scowling at the cloak that refuses to stay still.

"Jedha or that we both helped those people?" He asks, smiling over his shoulder at the man, "Well, yes, both matter quite a bit, your decision to come here, and your decision to help me free the others," He continues, dodging people even when he can't see them.

It was a little disturbing for Jango to watch, almost as much as it was irritating for him to be so carefree about it.

"It's the reason I offered my help," Obi-Wan says, looking back at the different stands of strange fruits, jewelry, and clothes, " You can tell a lot about a person based on how they treat those less fortunate," He says stopping to inspect a Meiloorun, but with a little sigh, seeing that it isn't ripe, move's on.

"Just because I took an opportunity to escape?" Jango asks gruffly.

"Because you took them with you - and then of course helped them find a safe place to stay afterward," Obi-Wan says, gesturing to one of the said outreach centers at the mouth of the giant building.

"Being a leader isn't something that can be taught Jango, not really" Ben says, stopping, putting his arms behind his back, "It's about the experience, trust, and… it's about being a good person," He says looking into Jango's eye's as he comes to stop beside him.

"I already know you're a good person," Ben says nodding at him with respect, "Experience will only come with time," He says, gesturing with a hand.

"My goal is to teach you effectiveness, priorities, a bit of strategy, and most importantly, trust," He says, placing a hand on the Mandalorians shoulder, "The more information you have, the more effective you can be, getting better at prioritizing will allow you to choose the better options, and the better strategies will give you a few tricks to use," He says.

"And trust, with trust in others, you'll be able to lead knowing that others can help you, and with trust in yourself…" Ben says fading off quietly, "It's what gives you the will to lead, not because you want to, but knowing that you can when others need you to," He finishes looking Fett in the eye.

Jango carefully listens as he stands there, his face stone as he takes it all in.

"Now come on, I don't have much time to teach before the days end," He says setting off again down the market.

"What do you mean we only have till the end of the day?" Fett asks, disbelievingly, bumping into another alien, scowling at each other as they go.

"How long did Kryze mean when she said we only had a short time here?" He growls, catching up with him, standing a foot behind him.

"I hope your not a slow learner," Ben says smiling over his shoulder, finally making their way out of the market and down another sandy street. He pauses for a second, his eyes closing, and his senses reaching out.

"I'm a very slow learner," Fett whisper yelling at Ben, "What are you doing?" He asks angrily, looking around, his hands on his hips like a disapproving father. Ben holds his finger to his lips though, a silent shh coming from him.

Fett scoffs, shaking his head again, but stays silent, looking the Jet'ii up and down, trying to decipher what he's doing. After a few tense moments, Ben suddenly shoots down an alley to their left, walking quickly.

"Where are you going?" He asks, watching as Ben jumps up on a few large metal crates.

"You're asking too many questions," Ben says turning around and jumping and pulling himself up onto a terrace quickly, using a bit of the Force to flip him onto his feet gracefully.

"Isn't the point of learning to ask questions?" Fett asks scrambling to catch up. He quickly jumps up onto the crates, noisily, then follows after onto the terrace. Ben meanwhile crouches a little and launches up a story with the Force, landing squarely on the roof of the building.

"Ask questions that are relevant, and I'll answer them," He says, bending over the edge, and watching as Fett stands up on the small terrace.

"How am I supposed to get up there?" He asks huffing lightly, mostly in irritation. Ben nods his head, and lays down, his head and arm peeking over the sides.

"Trust," Ben says reaching a hand down.

Fett takes a second to stare at it, thinking. With a sigh though, he runs towards the wall, planting his foot and shoving off, his hand reaching up and grasping the Jet'ii's.

"Perfect, stick to what's happening at the moment, forget the future, forget the past, and trust," Ben says pulling him up, "a good leader remembers to be mindful of what could happen, but not at the expense of now. You trusted me to help you, even though you know the risk of falling, of me dropping you," He says, hauling Fett to his feet.

"Every leader must know when to trust someone for help, and when to trust themselves," Ben says, turning and running over to the opposite edge. Fett watches as the Jet'ii launch himself across the gap and onto another building.

"We're almost there," He calls running, his hood flying off. Fett scowls and starts running as well, sprinting to catch up again.

"Where are we going?" Fett calls out to him, sweat already beginning to fall from his brow. Ben jumps along a few crates, using them as a springboard to jump to the next building.

"Stay in the moment Jango," He calls back, skidding to a stop at the last building on the corner. Ben lets out a little sigh of contentment, looking at the magnificent Jedha Temple, across the way.

The giant stone statues, still standing even after all these hundreds of years, thousands more likely.

"A Jet'ii sanctuary? Why?" Fett asks his breath heavy as he stands tall next to Ben looking at the beautiful architecture. Grudgingly, it's almost as good as Mandalores temples, he thinks.

They stand there, silently appreciating the view, letting the warm wind breeze past them.

"Jango… your largest obstacle is you. You are so worried about your potential failures, that you can do nothing but focus on them," Ben says quietly, "you need to be in the moment, mindful of those potential futures, but always focused on the here and now," He says, putting his arms behind his back.

"Otherwise your fear of the future will be what causes you to fail," Ben says, a slight sadness in his tone, "If I can't teach you anything else today, then I hope you learn that," He says. Fett nods his head, looking out again at the temple that's barely standing.

"Let's go," Ben says with a sigh, letting himself fall off the building, easily landing on the sand below, four stories down. Fett groans, wishing he had his armor as he looks over the edge at the Jet'ii.

"What was the point of us climbing up here if we were just gonna get down anyway," Fett calls out, making Ben laugh lightly, his hands on his hips.

"To make you jump," Ben says gesturing for him to do so, "and for me to catch you," He says, his hands held up, already calling the Force, ready to catch the Mandalorian. Jango shakes his head before taking a breath and a step back.

"Trust me," Ben calls out, unseen beyond the edge of the building. Jango settles his face in stone and launches forwards, jumping off the building. His stomach is in his lungs as the wind blows past him, but it's only a moment before something grabs him, an invisible hand slowing him down.

Gently, Obi-Wan lowers the scowling man to the floor and let's go as soon as his feet touch the sand.

"I don't have a problem trusting when we're in a fight, I've lead before," Fett says sternly, turning away from Obi-Wan. He walks forwards and puts a hand on Fett's shoulder, smiling at him.

"I have no doubt about that, what you need to learn, is how to trust in new warriors, one's that you haven't fought beside for years," He says with a gesture, "And you need to trust yourself," He quietly finishes.

"I trust myself," Fett says walking forwards.

"Possibly, but, I fear not enough," Ben says walking beside him, "You took very few shots in the mine, and from what I remember hearing about you, you used to be more… wild," He says stroking his chin.

"I've learned to not be so wild," Fett says with a hard glare. Ben nods his head, sensing the pain from those words.

"And that my friend is what I mean, remember your failures, but don't let them hold you back," Ben says speaking with experience lacing his tone. Fett's glare only gets harder though

"How is this," He says gesturing to the Jet'ii, "meant to teach leadership?" Fett asks scowling.

"Trust is everything, in a fight, in friendship, love," Ben says, "And if you can't even trust yourself, how are you going to defend anyone else, with your decisions, with your actions?" Ben asks quickly.

"These are your first steps," He says quietly, "you'll become a great leader, you just have to take the first one," He finishes, looking into Jango's eyes.

Fett looks away again though and starts walking, Ben quietly following along behind him as they make their way toward the Jedha Temple.

"I guess that's where you want us to go?" Jango asks with a sigh, seemingly tired of the day already, Ben nods his head as they walk.

"Theirs something in there that I want you to see," He says drawing his hood up again as they get closer before his hands return to his back.

"Is this going to be some kind of Jet'ii meditation?" Jango asks, copying Ben and putting his hood up as well as they pass by more creatures and people going about their daily lives.

"No," Ben says laughing, "No Jango, trust comes with time, and faith in others, both of which you don't have. We'll have to settle for open-mindedness, and the ability to start trusting," He continues, walking under the giant archways, and towards the door of the ruins.

"The other things you need will follow after," He says walking towards a panel at the side of the massive doors. With a wave of his hand and the rotation of the panel's inner workings, the stone doors begin to slide open.

"What are we going to be doing then?" Jango asks, exhausted from the ridiculous tasks and riddles he's been given.

"I don't know," Ben says, walking down the sand-riddled hall, full of old walls, and more ruins, "All of the Jedi's temples have strong connections to the Force, older ones more so, and we can use that aged connection to finder deeper meaning within ourselves," He says, gesturing to the old broken statues that have fallen.

"It will show you things about yourself, and help guide you through them, help you learn," Ben says, stopping at the last giant door at the end of the dark hallway. Jango stops next to him, his arms crossed over his chest.

"And what am I gonna see?" He asks ruefully, eyeing the ominous doorway.

"I don't know," Ben repeats, "But be careful, not every vision is harmless," He says putting a hand on his shoulder, trying to give him a small comfort.

"You're staying here?" Jango asks, looking back at him, frowning at how calm the Jet'ii is.

"Yes, this lesson is for you, I won't interfere," Ben says quietly, letting his hand fall, "May the Force be with you," He says, pushing his hand forwards, grasping the door with the Force and pushing it open, revealing the utter blackness of the abandoned temple.

Jango sighs through his nose, and shakes his head, walking forward without a second glance at the vague Jet'ii, grumbling under his breath.

Ben once again, uses the Force and pulls the door shut behind him.
